Teloch asked: Now for a happier subject: when would Azula decide they should have kids? In both the canon timeline and in a modern AU. Let's be honest, she'll consider everyone's opinion but she'll call the shots on when. Also, in what order would that probably go? I'm betting Azula first because she has immediate dibs, Mai second, then Ty Lee.
In the canon timeline, she'd want them to start trying to have kids the very night of their (ridiculously grandious) wedding so they'll have heirs, and the others would immediately agree. In a modern AU, she'd be very comfortable and happy with how their relationship is going, but want to take it "to the next level" and decide it's time for them to REALLY be a family. The others would be a little hesitant at first since their situation is very unusual, but Azula would find a way of lovingly saying "DO IT, YOU COWARDS!" and they'd be convinced.
In both scenarios, Azula would be the first, because of course she called dibs, but I can see Mai letting Ty Lee be the second one because Ty Lee gave her the sad puppy eyes after seeing how cute Azula's baby was, and Mai caved. The kids would all know who their biological mother is, but I can see them all calling the three of them "mom".
