Author's note: Okay folks, here is another chapter done for Four Souls.
I must warn you all though, that this chapter in particular has some of the most strongest language, sexual themes and shocking violence out of the whole story.

In the quiet area of the Scarlet Forest, the lake was calm and the skies had some beautiful clouds going across it, despite the black colours that it had. Ralsei lay on his stomach on the soft grass, his arm going over the river bank, ending with his wrist under the water's surface. His hand gently moving under the water, creating small currents that vanished after a few seconds, letting the liquids flow through his fingertips, soaking the fur on every digit of his hand.
He gently moved his arm back and fourth, lazily gazing upon the endless waters that seemed to stretch beyond the field of his vision. The only sound he could hear was the running water of the fountain behind him and the gentle sound of leaves moving in the wind. It was so relaxing to the prince. He could swear that he could fall asleep here if he wanted to. The sound of running water, combined with the rustling of the trees, provided the perfect noise for him to drift off. He could shut his eyes and sleep right there. But he chose not to, for he had plans.
Ralsei removed his arm from the water and rolled onto his back, looking up at the dark sky above him. His eyes were half closed as he gazed up into the darkness, said darkness looking back at him from above. After a few seconds, he stood up, walking over to the fountain. Upon reaching his destination, he placed his hands into the water and took out a hand full of cupped water, bringing it to his lips and drinking it slowly.
As the water made its way down his throat and into his stomach, Ralsei placed his hands on the basin of the water fountain, looking into his reflection in the clear waters. His mind began to drift back to his night at Noelle's mansion. Sure, it was a time he enjoyed, and he didn't want to leave once the morning came. If he had his way, he would've continued lying in bed with Kris, Susie and Noelle, their loving arms around his body as they slept. But alas, there was one event that only Kris knew about, since he was the one who caught him doing it.
Ralsei's trip to the bathroom was... something to say the least. You see, Ralsei DID need to use the toilet after he got into his underwear like his partners did, but after he was done with his business and flushed it all away, the thoughts of the girls in their underwear lingered in his mind. All alone inside that bathroom, his body DID react to the image of Susie and Noelle close to being naked that time. He didn't know if he was able to compose himself or if it was just because the girls were in front of him.
But either way, next thing he knew, he was sitting on the cold tile floor with his underwear around his ankles. His focus was on something on the phone screen, being held in his right hand. His left hand? Underneath a towel that he had put over his crotch, making the same motions you'd see a jackhammer do. The only sound heard in that bathroom was Ralsei's shaky, quiet breathing as though he was trying to compose himself while engaging in his 'relief'.
Ralsei's eyes were focused on the phone screen, presumably at some pornographic material he had found on the web, as his free hand was hard at work under the towel. He could feel that he was getting close to finishing, close to that final release. However, before it could come (in both senses), the bathroom opened, catching him off guard. "Hey Ralsei, are you doing okay in the-?" Kris' voice called out as he continued to open the door, taking a step inside.
"K-KRIS! Don't come in yet, I'm busy with something!" Ralsei suddenly stammered in a panic as he made eye contact with the human coming in, trying to cover himself up further. Kris froze upon realizing exactly what Ralsei was just doing. "I'll be out in a few minutes!" Ralsei said, as Kris quickly stepped back out of the bathroom, closing the door behind him. The room was silent following this embarrassing encounter, save for Ralsei's breathing.
The prince could only sit there, the more personal areas of his body being covered up by the towel. His cheeks burned a bright red as he looked back at his phone, turning off the screen a few seconds later. After something like that, there was no way he could continue. The door opened a few seconds later, although it was only opened a crack. "Hey Ralsei, is it okay if I come in there?" the human's voice called. Ralsei's blush continued. Kris was already at the door, he might as well let him in.
"Sure." was all the goat could say.
Kris walked into the room, closing the door behind him, as Ralsei lay back, his head full of shame and regret of having done such an act, his body resting against a cabinet. Kris walked towards him and knelt by his side. "If it makes you feel any better dude, I didn't see anything." the human said in the most reassuring tone he could. Ralsei could only blush further at Kris' comment. "Kris, please. I don't want to talk about it. I'm sorry that you had to see that from me." was all Ralsei could say in response. He was so embarrassed, he couldn't even look at the human, let alone talk to him about... what just happened.
Kris smiled at this. He always found his boyfriend's reactions cute, especially if he was flustered or embarrassed. "Ralsei, look at me." Kris said, resting a hand on the goat's shoulder. Slowly, he turned back to face the human, meeting his smile with his eyes. "Don't be ashamed about what you were doing a few minutes ago, okay? If anything, I should be apologizing to you. I had no right to barge in and interrupt you during your... private time. I'm sorry for that, dude." Kris said.
Ralsei continued to blush and lock eyes with his human boyfriend as he continued. "What you were doing is completely natural, especially for someone of your age. Don't ever think, or let anyone tell you, that it isn't." he explained in the most reassuring and comforting manner he could, his hand still gently pressed against Ralsei's shoulder. Kris could still feel some discomfort in Ralsei's mind, so he sat beside him as he continued. "Look dude, you don't have to feel weird or disgusted by your actions. Like I said, it's completely normal. And everybody, and I mean EVERYBODY, does that too. We're all entitled to-."
"Do you do it as well Kris?"
That question made Kris stop in his tracks. How could he answer that question to someone as innocent as Ralsei? Well, maybe 'innocent' wasn't the right word to describe Ralsei now, but still! His eyes darted around the room, as he searched for an answer to give his boyfriend. "Well... like I said, everybody does." was all Kris could say. Ralsei almost gave a glare at Kris in response. "So, you DO do it then?" he asked, slowly and clearly. Now Kris' cheeks were turning red. "Y-yeah. I used to do it all the time. In fact..." he said, shifting closer to Ralsei. This action made Ralsei blush further. Despite now being Kris' boyfriend, he always had that reaction whenever Kris got close to him.
"Between you and me, I would often be thinking of Noelle whenever I was... in the mood, let's say. I came into the bathroom one time and as I was rubbing one out, Asriel came in and caught me. He walked back out and a few minutes later, me and him had a talk about it, the same sort of talk that we're having right now in fact." Kris said with a smile. This gave some comfort to Ralsei. Kris shook his head. "But that's beside the point. It's common to do these things. I don't want you to think it's some sort of taboo to engage in those sorts of actions." he finished, before standing back up, Ralsei sitting up straight as he watched his boyfriend.
He began to walk back to the door, but stopped. "Oh, and one more thing Ralsei." Kris added. The goat looked back at him. "Y-yeah?" he could only say. Kris grabbed a nearby roll of toilet paper and gently threw back to him, the roll landing in Ralsei's covered lap. "Use this once you're done. Mrs. Holiday won't appreciate finding out you used her towels to clean yourself up after jacking off." Kris said. The human continued to walk to the bathroom door when Ralsei stopped him with a simple "Hey? Kris?"
Kris turned back to face his boyfriend, who was locking eyes with him, his phone by his side. The goat paused before saying what was on his mind in that moment. "Thanks for telling me all this. I love you." Ralsei said. Kris smiled. It always warmed his heart whenever someone, be it friends, family or his partners, told him that they loved him. "I love you too Ralsei." Kris said before turning back to the door and walking out, leaving Ralsei alone by himself once more.
After a few seconds, Ralsei grabbed his phone and turned the screen back on. He could finish off right then and there, but all his tension was gone. He could get himself started up all over again, thinking back to the girls in their underwear, but he decided against it. Besides, his... 'natural battery' was flat by this point. Ralsei removed the towel and put it in a nearby washing basket. Being near his junk and on his fur, he had to assume it would more than likely need to be cleaned. All he could do in that moment was sit there and collect his thoughts together. It didn't seem to matter that he was still naked, Ralsei just sat there, eyes closed as he tried to piece everything together.
Oh yes, I forgot to mention what he was looking at, didn't I? Well, his phone was set onto a website called 'Peep Show', an adult subscription based website. The logo being the website's name with the two E's in 'peep' being a pair of eyes for the top of the letters. A white and pink color scheme adorned the website. On the screen, there was a profile present named 'Buff_Lizard_Girl_03'. One of the images was visible on the screen, and thus, the image Ralsei was choking his chicken to:
The image was of Susie, taken from inside her room, the camera being her own mobile phone pointed at a mirror. Through the low lighting of her room, her posters could be seen in the background on the wall in the mirror's reflection, along with her desk and her bed, the mirror itself seeming to be attached to her bedroom door based on how the picture looked. But that wasn't the main focus of the image. The focus was on Susie herself.
She was sitting on the floor, her right hand resting flat behind her back, with the left hand holding her phone up. Her hair was trailing behind her, just like how she normally had it, with a few strands resting on either shoulder. She also had a dirty look in her eyes and a seductive little smile as she looked into the mirror, at the viewer via the mirror's reflection. Beside her was her jacket, shirt and jeans discarded on the floor. Further behind her was her black bra and panties.
She was naked in front of the mirror, her body on full display. No clothing, no censorship, just pure skin. Absolutely nothing was left to the imagination for the viewer, or Ralsei in this case. Susie's chest was puffed forward slightly, giving a nice view of her breasts for the camera, her stomach pressed back, revealing some muscle behind the skin and her legs were parted, giving a good view of her... well, you can imagine dear reader. It was enough to make a guy's loins burn with sexual desire.
It certainly worked for Ralsei! He spent a good few minutes boxing his one-eyed champ to said image before Kris walked in!
Normally, the users of Peep Show would need to pay a monthly subscription to see images like these, but Ralsei, having no bank account of his own, couldn't do such a thing. It was a good thing he had his magic, which he used to bypass the paywall and gain access to all of Susie's images and videos that she had posted on the website, most of which were either her posing nude, usually a naked selfie of herself in the mirror, or touching herself on camera, both in image and video form, along with some content of her playing with some... 'toys' of hers.
But anyway, back to the present day.
Ralsei stood back up and walked away from the fountain, towards the entrance of his little quiet area. Today, he had plans to meet up with Kris. Apparently, there was a festival of sorts going on in the hometown and Kris wanted to treat his three partners to a wonderful day together. "Think of it like a... three way date between us." he recalled the human saying to them. Such an idea was a wonderful thing to look forward to. He paused briefly to pick up his hat and place it upon his head, before continuing onwards.
As the lake disappeared behind him, Ralsei collected all of his thoughts, pushing his lewd cranking to the back of his mind. Surely, there wouldn't be any need to bring it up again later on... well, unless Kris decided to crack a joke at it or something. But Kris was understanding. Surely, he wouldn't. That was what Ralsei told himself as he walked through the opening and into the forest, his robe flowing elegantly with every step he took. He smiled to himself as he imagined all the things that he'd get up to.
After a few minutes of walking, he came to a clearing in the forest. He took a good look around himself, making sure he was completely alone. All he saw around him were various shades of red from the leaves and the trees. Not a Rudinn, or a Hathy in sight. Just him, completely alone. "Perfect." he said to himself. He then shut his eyes and focused on the area ahead of him. Placing his fingers onto his temple and his other hand outward with the same claw gesture as last time he did the spell, he began to spin his arm clockwise and after a few seconds, let out another spell:
"Iter ab domo!"
Almost immediately after those words were said, a portal to the Light World formed in front of him, a crackling gold and blue ring. Ralsei opened his eyes and smiled at the portal. "Here I come, Kris." he said to himself before walking towards the portal he made. Just before he could step through, the prince thought he heard a twig snapping behind him. He jumped slightly and turned around, quickly scanning the area for anyone watching him. He was reassured when he saw nothing but the trees around him. He sighed in relief before walking through the portal, the ring itself closing behind him and vanishing into nothing.
Although, perhaps Ralsei should've taken MORE than a quick glance at his surroundings before walking through the portal. Almost blended in with the trees was a single Rudinn, its eyes wide as he witnessed Ralsei use his magic to traverse into the Light World. Once the portal vanished, the Rudinn ran out into the open, standing where the portal was. It felt the energy of where it once was, even though it had vanished. This wasn't right in its mind. Rouxls Kaard made it VERY clear for Ralsei not to use his magic outside of the Dark World. Who knew what he was doing out there in the Light World!
He could be teaching dark magic to Lightners as he thought! All this time, he could've been preparing for something horrible! Could Ralsei be building an army? With the intent of usurping Lancer of his throne, in a full on takeover of the Dark World perhaps?! Fearing the worst outcome, the Rudinn ran out of the forest, making its way to the Card Castle. In its mind, Rouxls HAD to know about this! The duke wouldn't be happy with Ralsei's betrayal of trust, but if it meant Ralsei was safe at the end of the day, then so be it!
Kris lay on the sofa in the living room, watching something on television. His eyes were half closed as he lazily observed the events on the idiot box in front of him. He wasn't wearing his usual attire today. Instead, he wore a green tank top and a pair of white shorts. His shoes, which were flip flops for this sunny day, were on the carpet, while his feet were lying flat on the cushions. On the screen was showing some sort of monster movie, something about a giant 50 foot lizard or something. Kris wasn't really paying any attention to the movie.
He was waiting for Ralsei to show up at his house. There was a festival going on today and Kris was eager to take him, Noelle and Susie along for the ride. It would be both his and Noelle's first time going to a festival since they were kids. He wasn't sure if Susie had been to the festival before, but he certainly knew that Ralsei hadn't. This IS his first time in his world after all! He was pulled out of his thoughts by a scream sound effect coming from the television. On the screen, the monster used its tail to knock down a building, sending it crumbling to the ground in a towering inferno, no doubt injuring or killing those below on the streets.
Asriel was watching this movie with him, but he went upstairs to get something. Or so his older brother said. Toriel was already at the festival, selling her butterscotch pies to the people already there. She said she wouldn't be back until later that day. Asriel on the other hand, as much as he loved the festivals, decided to sit this years' out. He never gave a reason why though, not even to Kris. Kris pondered any potential reasons, but couldn't bring one to mind, his eyes lazily drifting back to the television, onto the movie it was playing.
"Ralsei will be here soon." He said to himself as he looked at a nearby clock. 2:15 PM. Ralsei told Kris that he would be there around this time. Once the two walked down the road, they'll meet up with the girls and head down to the festival. His focus was taken away about 2 minutes later by a knock at the door. Asriel's voice called down from upstairs upon hearing the knocks. "Kris! I think your friend's here!" he called.
"Alright, I'll go answer the door!" Kris called back as he stood up from the couch, turning off the television with the remote. Throwing the remote back onto the sofa, he then walked over to the door and opened it, a smile on his face as he saw the young goat prince standing in front of him, arms behind his back as he gently swayed side to side, his eyes focused on the human behind his glasses. The goat had a different set of clothing on him also. Instead of what he wore before, he was wearing a pair of green cargo shorts and a black t-shirt, complete with a white skull imprint. His feet were protected from the heat of the pavement below by some blue trainers.
"Ralsei, I'm happy you could make it, my dude! And you got changed into something cooler!" Kris said happily as he walked up to him, holding his arms out. Ralsei was now aware of what Kris wanted, given that he did so to him so many times in the Dark World. Ralsei revealed his arms behind his back and ran forward into the human's arms. The two in a tight embrace, they both stood there, feeling the warmth of each other's bodies. Despite how warm the day already was, it felt so nice for the two of them. They enjoyed sharing these hugs.
For Kris, Ralsei's fur felt warm against his skin. He could imagine that if he was trapped in very cold weather with him, he'd be able to keep warm and survive, just by holding onto the goat prince and enveloping himself in his white fur. As for Ralsei, Kris' skin felt nice against his paws. The feeling of human skin was something he couldn't get enough of ever since Kris first hugged him all those weeks ago, when him and Susie first arrived in the Dark World. Over time, he got more comfortable, even initiating some hugs of his own with Kris.
After a few seconds of standing there, taking in each other's embrace, the two broke off and Kris walked back inside with Ralsei, his hand firmly in the monster's paw. "Did you want a drink or anything before we go, dude?" Kris asked Ralsei as they walked in. Ralsei shut the door behind him as he answered. "Uhh, no. I'm okay thank you Kris. I appreciate the offer though."
Kris turned around, an evil little smirk on his face, something that unnerved Ralsei slightly upon seeing it. "Good." the human added as he walked up to the goat, the monster backing into the door out of fear. He then wrapped around Ralsei's lower waist and gave his buttocks a firm grab, causing him to let out a small yelp and leap up. This gave Kris the cue to move forward and interlock his body with the goat boy's, pressing his body against the door. "'Cause it allows me to smooch you quicker." Kris added, an almost lustful tone in his voice.
Ralsei was shocked at this. Kris, while being aware of how sensitive Ralsei is, was more confident in showing affection to his boyfriend. This wasn't the first time Kris had groped the monster's ass suddenly. It took him by surprise whenever he did, but part of him liked it. He liked the idea of being man handled every now and then by his boyfriend. Ralsei could only return an evil smirk of his own as he gave a slow, affectionate "Oh Kris..." in response as his legs wrapped around his boyfriend's waist and his arms held onto his shoulders.
The two boys then leaned in and initiated a passionate kiss between them. Their eyes shut as their passion and affections for one another clouded their minds. Ralsei's arms travelled from Kris' shoulders to the back of his head, where they clutched to his hair as the boys continued their smooching. Soft moans could be heard escaping their mouths as the boys shared one kiss after another. Kris continued to press his body against Ralsei's, holding him up against the door. After a few seconds, Kris felt Ralsei's hands move from his head and pressed gently against his chest.
He suddenly felt his body being pushed back as Ralsei suddenly moved his feet to the floor and walked forwards, still going at it with the kisses. His eyes wide open, Kris saw a light blue glow from his chest as he suddenly felt the sofa on his legs. The goat prince still pushed forwards though, causing Kris to fall back onto the sofa, knocking the TV remote off the cushions and landing hard on the floor, a thud echoing around the room. Not that Kris cared. He was too focused on sharing his kiss with Ralsei, who fell on top of him, still going at it with the kisses.
Now that his human boyfriend was pressed on the sofa, Ralsei's hands then left his chest and trailed down his arms until their hands met, in which they both interlocked. It was at that moment Kris felt something else on his lips aside from Ralsei's:
Tongue.
Sure enough, Ralsei's tongue was let out of the goat's mouth and was dancing around Kris', earning more moans out of the human as his own tongue began to tango around the monster's. It was very rare that Ralsei would let THIS side of him out, be it with him, Susie or Noelle, but oh, Kris LOVED it whenever Ralsei did with him! Ralsei released Kris' hands and they travelled back to his boyfriend's back, one hand pressed against his upper back while the other rested on his ass. He didn't grope him like he did earlier, he just rested his palm against his clothed skin.
The human's mind was completely overcast with pleasure as the goat on top of him continued to mercilessly run his tongue around his before dropping down for another rough, open mouthed kiss. Kris could've even sworn in that moment, Ralsei was starting to dry hump him, much like how HE did with Noelle a few weeks prior, as both his hand was making rhythmic motions while pressed on Ralsei's backside and he felt a constant grinding against his body, especially where him and his boyfriend's crotches met. But unlike his little dry hump with Noelle, there was no Amarero influence around this time. Just pure passion... with a dash of lust maybe.
Asriel, upon hearing the remote hit the floor, came downstairs to see what was going on. As he walked down each step, his ears caught some odd noises. He paused as he focused his hearing and found that his ears were NOT deceiving him. From where he was going, he was hearing what sounded like Kris moaning. It almost sounded like... sexual moaning, to the older goat. As he drew close to a corner where the wall ended as it turned into the kitchen, Asriel peaked around the corner. Right then and there, that was when he saw it.
Right there on the sofa was his younger brother. His body pressed against the cushions with his new friend on top of him, their bodies pressed together as they shared a fiery kiss, their tongues in constant battle as Ralsei was ramming his waist into the human's. He turned away from the corner and paused, the sounds of Kris and Ralsei moaning echoing around the room. Such a sight was... a surprise to Asriel. Was... was Ralsei and Kris... having sex on the sofa? He took another look around the corner. The two boys were in too much passion and lust to notice the older monster spying on them.
Asriel took note that neither of the boys had any clothing removed and that there was no attempts from either boy to start ripping the clothes off of the other. Still, Asriel could see that Kris and Ralsei were French kissing each other AND that Ralsei was dry humping the human too. The older brother turned back around the corner and stood there, resting his arm against the wall and his eyes focused on the ground in front of him at the bottom of the stairs. But he wasn't focusing on the floor itself, as his mind was aflare with so many thoughts in that instant after what he had just seen.
Last time Kris talked to him about relationships, he mentioned he was seeing a girl. But Ralsei is clearly another boy, yet there Kris was, smooching the hell of him on the sofa. Does that mean... this entire time, Kris was... gay? This whole time, was he in the closet? And if so, how did Asriel not see that? And what about that girl Kris said he was seeing? Did things not work out between him and her? Or maybe... it was all a lie. Maybe Kris made the whole girl story up to hide the fact he was more interested romantically, and possibly sexually, in other boys.
Asriel wondered to himself as he took in the sounds of the boys moaning as they continued to smooch. He couldn't help but feel surprised at how none of them seemed to be out of breath. His mind was still racing as he quietly turned back around and walked upstairs. There was NO way in hell he was going to barge down there and interrupt Kris during his moment of intimacy with Ralsei, even if he was in the closet this entire time! Meanwhile, the boys broke their kiss, a trail of saliva hanging off of their tongues. The two paused, catching their breath, before Ralsei went for Kris' neck. Once there, he began to gently lick, kiss and bite at the soft spots where the neck met the shoulder.
This brought more bursts of pleasure to the human as he lie there and took Ralsei's risqué actions. If the two did not have any plans today, Kris was certain that Ralsei would've probably ripped the clothes off the both of them and senselessly fucked him right there on the sofa. Kris certainly felt a stirring in his loins during all of this, it wouldn't surprise him if Ralsei had that same stirring in his!
Through the pleasure, Kris noticed the small horns on Ralsei's head. His mind was clouded with pure lust by this point as he lunged forward and ran his tongue up one of the horns. To his surprise, Ralsei suddenly stopped his kiss assault on the base of his neck and let out a rather loud moan. Kris went wide eyed as Ralsei suddenly lifted himself up to face the human. All lust and passion was gone from him at that moment, being replaced by surprise. The goat's eyes were wide and his cheeks burned, as though even HE wasn't expecting a moan to escape his throat.
"R... Ralsei? What was that?" Kris could only ask in shock. Ralsei's eyes trailed off of the human and to the side in what seemed to be embarrassment. "I'm sorry Kris. I don't know what it is, but I get a little, what's the word...? Lascivious whenever someone touches my horns. When you licked my horn, it gave me a HUGE burst of desire. Like... in that moment, as the moan got out, I just wanted to-."
"Dude, I get it. You don't need to go into details. It just... would've been nice to know that your horns are an erogenous zone before I did that." Kris interrupted, his tone sounding relaxed and reassuring. Despite his best efforts, it did nothing to relieve the awkward tension in the room. Kris frowned after a few seconds of silence. "Ralsei, dude? If you're not gonna smooch me any more, can you please climb off my body? I can practically FEEL myself going numb." Kris said. Ralsei quickly apologized as he got off of Kris, allowing the human to stand up beside his boyfriend.
It was easy to see that the boys had gotten themselves all worked up over their kiss, since their bodies were drenched in sweat. Kris then picked up the television remote and turned off the TV, reducing the screen to black. "The girls should be meeting up with us soon. We should get going." Kris added. "Y-yeah." Ralsei agreed as he walked back to the door. The human grabbed a nearby water bottle and followed suite, the boys opening the door and walking out, back into the summer's day. Once the door was closed, Kris held out his hand to Ralsei, the latter happily taking it as they both walked off together.
The boys were only talking for a seconds among themselves until they could see the girls up ahead. Ralsei being the excited of the two, waved excitedly at them and gave a happy sounding "Noelle! Susie!" before running up to meet them, Kris keeping at a steady pace as he walked, a smile on his face seeing Ralsei all excited to see his girlfriends. "Hey there my little ner-!" was all Susie could greet Ralsei with before he effectively ran into her arms, planting a HUGE kiss on her lips, taking her by surprise. Despite this, Susie, upon regaining composure and relaxing into Ralsei's kiss, was able to lift him into the air and spin on the spot with him as they shared their lip on lip action together before gently putting him back down.
Kris had caught up to the two as Ralsei and Susie broke their kiss, Noelle watching them both in amusement and awe. Susie had yet to try the classic 'lift up your lover as you kiss them' move on her, but if the purple brute offered, there was NO way she'd turn it down. Ralsei then turned his attention to the doe. "Hey there Noelle. It's really nice to see you again on such a beautiful day." he said happily. He then stepped closer to her as he then added "Although, it's not as beautiful as you are, Noelle my dear." in the most flirtatious tone he could.
This worked in Ralsei's favour as Noelle placed a hand to her mouth and giggled. "You're so sweet Ralsei." Noelle said in response. The goat placed his arms around her waist and pulled her close to him. The two then proceeded to gently press their lips together, shutting their eyes as they took in the kiss they shared. Noelle's lips tasted sweet to the prince as the two continued to lock lips. Kris smirked at the scene in front of him, before walking up to Susie and sharing a kiss of his own with her. "It's good to see you come out and join us today, dude." Susie said to her boyfriend after they broke their kiss.
Taking a step back, Kris (as well as Ralsei, who had finished kissing Noelle by this point) got a good look at what the girls were wearing. The two weren't wearing their usual attire on this warm summer day. Instead, Susie had a bright orange t-shirt and a pair of apple bottoms which had the legs cut off to make them into a pair of shorts, completing Susie's summer look was a pair of flip flops on her feet. Kris wasn't certain, but it looked as though the clothing Susie was wearing was bringing out more of the curves on her body, making her look even more sexy than he thought she already was.
Kris turned away, a blush forming on his face as he began to imagine how Susie's body would look underneath all that clothing. Ralsei on the other hand, seeing a few posts on Susie's Peep Show account, had no issue with looking. He knew EXACTLY how she looked naked, and he enjoyed it. Both boys had the exact same thought in mind:
"Well, if I jerk off tonight, I KNOW who I'm gonna have in mind."
Kris then turned back to face Noelle. Like Susie, she wasn't wearing her sweater and romper, her usual clothing. Instead, she was wearing a baggy vest, similar to the nightwear she had during their sleepover in the Dark World, a pair of shorts and some trainers on her feet. But the most noticeable piece of clothing she had on was a large sun hat, which was attached to her back with a piece of string, her golden locks of hair flowing as freely as velvet from her head where they ended at her chest and her back.
"And I see you're looking as beautiful as ever, Noelle." Kris said with a smile. He then gently took Noelle's hand and planted a kiss on her fingers. The doe giggled at this. "Oh, you're such a gentleman Kris." she flirtatiously said as Kris began to kiss his way up her arm, his little journey ending at Noelle's lips as the two shared yet another passionate kiss. After they broke their kiss, Kris locked his hand with Noelle's before glancing over at Susie. "Shall we?" was all he had to say.
Susie smiled at him and walked up, taking his free hand. Ralsei held onto Susie's other hand as the four of them walked off, towards the festival that they had planned to spend the day at. Back indoors, the house was quiet for a few minutes, before Asriel made his way back downstairs. He was still in shock over what he saw with Kris and Ralsei. No way did he EVER suspect that Kris was gay, so this came as a massive surprise for him. As he walked into the living room, he glanced at the couch that his brother and his friend was smooching on.
There was a slight imprint on the couch cushions where their bodies were pressed against it, the remote still lying on the floor along with some extra pillows that fell off during the boy's little make out session. Asriel picked up the pillows from the floor and placed them back onto the sofa. He then picked up the remote and sat down on the couch, turning on the television, presumably to get his mind off what he discovered. The imprint distorted under the weight of Asriel's body as he shifted himself to get comfortable. Despite the television playing some sort of comedy show, he couldn't get his mind off what he witnessed.
The older goat tried his hardest to focus on the television. He smirked as a joke was stated by a character on the show he was watching, but his mind was still floating back to a few minutes ago. Shaking his head in frustration, Asriel grabbed a nearby phone and dialed a number, placing the phone against his ear as it rang. It might've been invasive of Kris' privacy, but he HAD to let someone know about it. After a few seconds, he then spoke down it.
"Hey mom." He said. There was a pause before he continued. "Yeah, I know. You're probably busy with the festival right now... Yeah, Kris will be there with Ralsei, Noelle and Susie, but listen... there's something I have to tell you about Kris..."
The four lovebirds walked side by side, hand in hand, chatting amongst themselves and laughing. It was obvious they were enjoying their company together to every one else. The weather was certainly helping too as the sun continued to shine down on the town. Not a cloud was in sight above the world as a blue sky hung over them like stage curtains, basking in the sun's rays and completing the canvas of a beautiful day. Once they were done with the festival, they were gonna go back to one of their places and watch a movie or two. A perfect plan for a day like this.
"And then, I got a phone call from mom, telling me that Asriel had gone to the airport and was planning to get a plane to New Zealand! I had to correct him and say that dad needed some new SEALANT for his shed! To this day, any time he says he's going out, I always make sure to tell him 'Make sure you DON'T go to New Zealand this time!' before he leaves." Kris finished, a smile plastered onto his face. This brought out a hearty laugh out of Susie and a giggle from both Noelle and Ralsei. After the laughs died down, Kris then added in another comment. "But yeah, the following year, he actually DID go to New Zealand for a week with some of his friends."
The group was briefly silent as they continued to walk. Kris smirked as he then suddenly said "Me and Ralsei made out back at my place on the sofa. He also dry humped me." The group suddenly stopped, shock filling their faces, especially Ralsei, who went wide eyed at this sudden reveal. "K-KRIS! The girls don't need to know that!" The prince stammered as he hid his face behind his hands, his cheeks burning a bright pink. Kris smirked even more. He LOVED getting a reaction like that out of his boyfriend. It reminded him of when he did the same to Noelle when they were kids.
Susie glanced over at Ralsei. "Dude... I didn't know you were a little freak." She said with a teasing tone, causing his blush to become more perceptible. "Susie, please!" Ralsei exclaimed. Kris sniggered before continuing. "He probably would've fucked me on that sofa if we didn't have plans to go out with you guys." he added. Susie burst into another fit of laughter as Noelle, while trying to hold back her own laughter, gave Kris a gentle backhanded slap to his ribs. "Shut up Kris, you asshole." she said playfully.
Noelle had learned to be more relaxed around her partners, so much so that she could even swear around them and be comfortable doing so. Normally, she HATED the idea of profanity, but being around Kris, Susie and Ralsei made things more... calmer. She felt at ease around them, able to fully be herself. Kris and Susie already swore like sailors, so it only made sense for Noelle to join the two. The only one who stuck with a no swearing rule was Ralsei.
Aside from maybe hearing him swear under his breath (despite his attempts at hiding it), Ralsei never seemed comfortable swearing out loud around them. Even when Susie or Kris would try to goad him into swearing, he'd adamantly refuse. He'd even replace profanity when he was quoting something, even when the others insisted that it wasn't necessary. Noelle was snapped out of her thoughts by Susie's voice.
"You know, Noelle and I smooched a little bit as well."
Now, it was Noelle's turn to go wide eyed and blush. "S-Susie, please no!" Noelle begged her girlfriend. Susie only returned a cruel looking smirk as she began to recount what happened between the two girls. "Okay, so what happened was..." she began.
Noelle sat at her desk, writing something on her laptop. Her mind was burning with thoughts about various things. Her school work. Her mother. Her father. Her boyfriends. Her girlfriend. Her future. All sorts of things arriving in her mind in a large bulk like the Trojan Horse that the Greeks used in break into and invade Troy. No matter what she did to ease her mind, nothing seemed to work. Lofi hip hop? Only worked for about 5 minutes or so before the white noise of intrusive thoughts became too much. ASMR? She'd fall asleep if she listened to it for too long.
She didn't even WANT to recall the amount of times she fell asleep at her desk listening to someone whisper sweet nothings and positive affirmations into her ears while she worked. She remembered one time that she was working on some homework after having dinner about 45 minutes prior, the time being 8:15 PM on her phone's clock, while listening to someone in a red and grey cat costume (although, she believed that the ASMRtist's fans called it a 'fursuit') pet their microphone with some soft paws and whispering into the microphone itself. It was only an hour long, but she was asleep by the 20 minute mark.
Next thing Noelle knew, she woke up to the window being dark outside, the video finished and the time now being 2:45 AM. Needless to say, she had a bit of a panic, finishing her homework before getting into bed. She was in a very bad mood when she came into school that morning, still feeling tired and groggy from the lack of sleep she had. How come her parents didn't wake her up when they came to check on her? She came dangerously close to snapping at Kris when he decided to pull a prank on her by-.
A soft thud at the window snapped Noelle out of her focus. Turning to look outside, all she could see was a clear lawn of grass, ending at the wall of her property, the sun still shining down upon the blades of grass below. She slowly turned her attention back to her laptop and resumed typing away. Maybe it was a bug that just flew into her window. There wasn't a stain or a crack or anything, so she felt she had nothing to worry about. Either way, Noelle just HAD to get this part of her project with Berdly done. The sooner it was finished, the sooner that she could-.
Another thud startled her. Okay, something or someone HAD to be out there. There was NO way an insect could fly into her window twice. Noelle stood up from her chair and climbing onto her desk, opened the window. Almost immediately, the heat of the summer brushed against her face as the summer air was let into her room, the curtains flying upwards as air made its way through the house. Her eyes scanned the grasslands, looking for a potential cause for the noise. Still nothing there. Just empty, undisturbed grass and clear blue skies. She was confused to say the least. Where was the cause of that sound coming from? She couldn't see anyone or anything out there.
It was at that moment, that she heard another thud, this one sounding closer. As though it were right in front of her. She glanced down and saw a group of purple fingers. Already startled by their sudden appearance, she then screamed and backed away from the window in shock when she saw a figure rise up behind the fingers. She seemed to have forgotten she was still on her desk however, as her body landed in the chair before falling out of it and landing hard on the checkered carpet.
"Whoa! Noelle, are you okay?"
Susie's voice brought some comfort to the doe as she stood up, rubbing her back. Sure enough, her reptile girlfriend was looking into her room at her. Noelle frowned. "Susie, please don't scare me like that!" the doe said, a clear annoyance in her voice as she almost appeared to glare at her girlfriend. Susie just shrugged in response. "Hey, it isn't MY problem that you're such a wimp." she snarked back, complete with a little smirk and chuckle.
Noelle turned away from Susie, presumably out of embarrassment, who started climbing in through the window. The flip flops she was wearing made gentle contact with the desk, causing it to creak slightly under her weight, but then went silent as Susie made her way into Noelle's bedroom. It was only a few days ago, but Noelle's room was still as breath-taking to Susie. It looks so much more... alive compared to her room back at her apartment. Susie climbed off the desk, her flip flops landing on the soft carpet.
"Geez, that must be the first time I've actually climbed through someone's window to get to them." Susie muttered to herself, looking back at said window, which was still wide open, the summer breeze blowing the curtains into the room, only being held where they were by the banister they were attached to. Noelle still didn't turn around, probably still embarrassed and / or annoyed at Susie's callousness towards her nerves. "You know, you could've used the front door instead of climbing up to my bedroom window." Noelle said to her girlfriend, back still to her.
Susie frowned. "You know your mom doesn't trust me with you." she said, causing her girlfriend to finally turn around and face her. The annoyance on her face seemed to be gone by this point, being replaced with a look of shock and concern. "That's not true Susie. Mom likes you." the doe said. All Susie could do was shake her head. "No, Noelle. You don't understand. I don't even think she likes me either. I mean, when we hung out that night and before Kris got here, I went to get a glass of water from the kitchen and your mom was on her laptop. When I had my drink, I could feel your mom glaring at me. I didn't even have to turn around to face her. I can just SENSE that she had negative thoughts about me." Susie explained.
Noelle sighed. Sure, her mother might've been a little judgmental of Susie, but given how the girl's reputation would always overshadow the girl herself, it made sense that Holly Ann would be wary of her daughter's new girl friend. She didn't seem to mind Ralsei. In fact, she seemed to enjoy the goat boy's company, getting along with him and even having a few laughs with him. And Kris... well, to Holly Ann, he was Kris.
"Look, sure mom can get a little overprotective at times, but once she sees how much of a good monster you are, then she'll..." Noelle began. However, her train of thought screeched to a half upon seeing Susie's facial expression remain unsure. Defeated, Noelle sighed again. "Alright, I'll try and talk to her and prove you're not as bad as she thinks you are. I promise I'll try my hardest to convince her."
It was the least Noelle could do for her girlfriend in that moment, but it seemed to calm Susie's nerves as she started to smile warmly. Susie then noticed a small plastic box of strawberries on Noelle's desk. All it took was a simple glance at Noelle, who nodded back with a smile of her own, for Susie to have the go ahead. Picking up one of the red fruits, she held it in her fingers. "You know, I do believe Kris and Ralsei will be here soon, but I feel it'll be a while until the slowpokes are ready." she said, popping the fruit into her mouth and chewing.
Noelle smirked. "So what? Were you expecting to climb through my bedroom window and the two of us would do something together?" she asked, pressing her fingers together. Despite her shy stance, her tone of voice had a flirty tone behind it, as though she already knew what was on Susie's mind in that moment. Susie blushed, scratching the back of her neck. "Well, to be honest, I was kinda hopin' you and me could... you know..." she awkwardly said, before making a simple gesture. She raised both her index and middle fingers on each hand and interlocked her fingers together on opposite hands, making sure the skin between said fingers connected together. Noelle went wide-eyed, for she knew EXACTLY what Susie was asking of her.
"You know, before we met up with the boys, but... I don't want to do something you're not comfortable with. So... maybe we could... smooch for a little bit?" Susie finally added, letting her fingers part and drop to her sides with the rest of her arms. Part of the doe immediately wanted to demand Susie to strip her naked and screw her right then and there, but a more sensible part of her told her to repress her lust, wait until the right time. And now, just wasn't the right time. "Well... I-I-I'm happy to ma-make out with you, if... if that's what you want." Noelle stammered, stumbling over her words. This brought a smile to Susie's face. She found it cute watching her girlfriend fumble over words.
"Then, it will be done." Susie said as she walked close to Noelle, bringing her arms around the back of the doe's neck. Noelle responded by wrapping her arms around Susie's waist. Susie's dirty smirk overtook Noelle's mind as she leaned forward, planting her lips against her girlfriend's. The lizard's eyes closed as she relaxed into the kiss. The two broke a few seconds later, only to start up another kiss. The two stood there for a few seconds, locking lips before Noelle turned Susie towards her bed and gently walked forwards, making Susie walk backwards until the back of her legs gently tapped against the bed frame.
Their kiss broke and their eyes opened briefly as Susie sat down and leaned back as Noelle climbed on top of her girl. The two resumed their smooches, their minds totally enveloped in euphoria. The feeling of each other's skin on their lips, and the wetness of the kisses. It was so much pleasure in that one moment. The doe's hands interlocked with the lizard girl's as their lips continued to collide, giving out bursts of elation for the two girls.
"Hah... hey Noelle...? Where did... where did you learn... to kiss like this?" Susie could only ask between kisses. Noelle paused the kisses to look upon her girlfriend, suddenly breathless from the smooching. "I've watched... movies... where characters kiss... like this." she said between pants. In that moment, something else overwhelmed her. The desire to act on her animal instinct. She might've been a monster, and a civilized one at that, but there was still a bit of her feral nature inside her. And it only grew as she glanced down at her girlfriend, her eyes filling with lust.
Susie grew worried as she was pinned underneath Noelle. It took her by surprise when the doe suddenly lunged down and, rather than starting another kiss, started rubbing her cheek against Susie's face. Such an action took Susie by surprise. She NEVER expected this sort of thing from Noelle! It was almost akin to a cat rubbing themselves against a human, although in Noelle's case, there seemed to be more... desire in her action. It was then Susie caught a scent lingering on her skin.
Musk.
Noelle was a doe after all, so it only made sense to Susie for her to try and leave a scent on her partner. But even so, Susie wasn't ready for this level of intimacy. "N-Noelle... Noelle, sweetie." Susie began to protest, falling upon deaf ears as Noelle continued to lustfully rub herself against her girlfriend. In the throes of her passion and lust, she even planted a HUGE kiss upon her lips, holding in place for so long, Susie, for a brief moment, was scared that she was going to suffocate under Noelle's kiss. The doe's arm trailed downwards as Susie continued to try and talk sense into Noelle.
"Noelle. Babe! Listen to me!" was all she could say before she suddenly felt a strong tug against her tail. This brought a burst of euphoria out of the girl as she suddenly let out a moan. This was enough to snap Noelle out of her lustful trance and look down upon her in shock. "S-Susie?! Did I just lose control there?" she asked, concerned. Without waiting for an answer, Noelle immediately stood up and turned away from her, covering her face in shame. Such an action allowed Susie to stand up, straightening her jacket and hair in the process, although it did nothing to erase Susie's newly found concern.
"N... Noelle?" Susie said. It broke her heart when, muffled behind her girlfriend's hands, she heard her start crying. Whatever just happened, it must've really affected Noelle in some way. Susie gently walked up to the weeping doe and gently removed her hands from her face. Sure enough, her eyes were watering, some tears even escaping down her cheeks. "I'm sorry Susie. I just... I just don't know what came over me there. It happened with my parents when they first met. When they find a partner, they leave their musk on them and... and...!" Noelle explained, her voice shaky and strained as she desperately fought back the urge to burst into tears again.
Susie only responded by planting a kiss of her own onto Noelle's lips, causing her eyes to once again go wide. The two held their position for a few seconds, Susie's eyes closed, her mind focused on kissing her girl, Noelle completely frozen in shock from the sudden kiss. When the two broke their kiss, Susie opened her eyes. "It's okay babe. I love you regardless of what you do to me. You haven't hurt me with your action after all. In fact, I kinda think it's hot." She reassured with a smile.
Noelle blushed and smiled, before the two shared an intimate hug. With their arms enveloped around each other's bodies, the two girlfriends felt golden in that one precious moment. Noelle was reassured that Susie still loved her, despite her little 'episode' and Susie was... to say the least, impressed at how good of a kisser Noelle was. After a few minutes, the two broke their hug. "I think the boys will be on their way. We should get going." Noelle said, making her way to the bedroom door. Susie walked up to her. "Yeah, we should." she agreed, walking out of the bedroom after her girlfriend, Noelle grabbing her sun hat nearby on the way out.
"And after all that, we met up with you guys and now, we're here." Susie finished her story. Noelle had her head in her hands, a simple groan of embarrassment escaping her throat. "You really didn't need to share that with the boys Susie." Noelle said, earning a chuckle from Kris and a blush from Ralsei, who, while listening, had a blush on his face when Susie detailed how the two girls were smooching. Such an image made him, once again, hot under the collar and started a stirring in his loins, but thankfully, none of his partners had noticed.
"Yeah, but it's funny to embarrass you every now and again, babe." Susie added, her voice full of cruel pride. As much as she loved her girlfriend, she also loved making her feel awkward. The doe was almost as bad as Ralsei in that regard! Even Kris couldn't hold back a smile as Noelle tried in vain to her her blush. Ralsei only smiled sweetly at this. The doe and the goat's eyes met and just like that, all the embarrassment seemed to melt away from Noelle's mind, looking into Ralsei's eyes.
It took a bit of time before the faint sounds of joyful screaming and cheap rides running for the group's faces to light up with smiles. The festival was getting closer, just outside the town's limits in a nearby field. Usually, this field was empty all year round, but occasionally, the festival would set up there. It was large, open and had plenty of space for everyone to set up their stalls and rides and such. As they drew closer, the smell of cotton candy, popcorn, peanuts and other confectionery items filled their noses. Smells that you'd expect from a circus, not a festival!
The group stopped as they gazed upon the open entrance. Various bright lights and colours greeted them beyond the ticket booth. Kris smiled, as he knew that Toriel would be there with her various flavours of pies. She always enjoyed selling them around the festival. In fact, those pies usually helped her bring home a HUGE payment that would go into her bank by the end of the week. Noelle smiled to herself as she thought back to happier times with her family, before her father was hospitalized and her mother become preoccupied with work.
Ralsei was blown away by the lights and the sounds. It seemed like paradise for those already inside, and he couldn't wait to be a part of it. The group was snapped out of their thoughts when Susie joyfully shouted "Well, what are you guys waiting for? Let's go!" before running towards the entrance, taking the lead. Her hand has still being held by Ralsei, who was pulled forwards when Susie ran towards the festival. His hand was held by Kris, whose free hand was held by Noelle. When Susie ran forwards, the rest of the chain followed suit, taken by surprise. All of them struggled to keep the same speed as Susie, Noelle especially struggling since she was now right at the back of the line.
Some time had passed since the group had entered the festival and they were having the time of their lives. They had been on a few rides, tried out some of the festival's foods (Ralsei even making himself puke after eating before going on a particular fast ride) and overall, had so many laughs. They even learned a few MORE things about the rings they were wearing. Apparently, if one member of the relationship felt a truly strong emotion in a situation, then the rings would pass said emotion onto their partners, making them share the same feelings.
This theory turned out to be true multiple times. For instance, one of the rides the group went on was a ghost train. A simple dark ride where they sat inside a small car which took them through a dark house on a track, filled with various spooks and frights within. Noelle felt particularly fearful during the ride, an emotion that quickly spread to the others as the diamonds on their rings gave off a purple glow. Ralsei was holding onto Noelle for dear life, as though letting go would kill the poor goat, Kris was more apprehensive as they passed a horror inspired animatronic or statue and even the fearless Susie was in a hurry to get off the ride once it was over.
Another time was after him and his partners went on a pendulum ride that threw them into the air and back again at incredible speeds. Noelle had warned him about going on a ride after he had eaten, especially since he had a big wad of cotten candy prior, but Susie insisted that they try it out. A decision Ralsei was quick to regret as he spent a good few minutes after the ride had ended, heaving and retching into a nearby trash can. Once he was done puking his guts out, he caught sight of the vile substance merging with the other trash festivals goers threw away, bits of cotten candy swimming in the stomach contents.
He was close to be sick again just from seeing it. Such disgust wasn't lost on the group as Kris, Noelle and Susie felt an overpowering sense of revolt despite not seeing the products of Ralsei's stomach in the trash, the diamonds on their rings glowing a sickening green. But like the emotions that accompanied them, the glowing eventually faded, returning to their neutral states of mind. After a while, they found themselves sitting at a plastic table, a small portion of chips in the middle.
"And THAT, is why Tom Cruise was a poor casting choice for the role of Stacee Jaxx in the Rock of Ages movie." Susie finished, seeming to have been talking about the movie in question. Noelle smirked. She enjoyed listening to her girlfriend ramble. Kris sat opposite from the purple reptile, facing her, while Ralsei and Noelle sat either side of him. "Even so, he did a good effort as the character. I looked into the behind the scenes and the director chose him because his singing sounded good. Besides, it was a much better casting choice than Russell Brand as Lonny."
All Ralsei felt listening to the conversation was confusion. He had NO idea who this Tom Cruise or Russell Brand people were, nor did he know what this 'Rock of Ages' thing was. But despite all that, he listened to the conversation. Maybe he could learn more about Lightners and their ways as he listened and took notes. Susie took a chip and placed it into her mouth as she answered. "Oh c'mon dude, Russell Brand was the best part of the movie! And who cares what Adam Shankman thinks of Tom Cruise's singing! He's the same guy who directed The Pacifier, Cheaper by the Dozen 2 AND Bedtime Stories! And people don't even like those movies aside from little kids!" Susie playfully argued with her boyfriend.
Noelle raised a hand meekly. "I... I liked Cheaper by the Dozen 2 when I was a girl." she confessed. Kris nodded in agreement. Him and Noelle would watch that movie all the time when they were kids. It was only when they grew older that they realized how... underwhelming the movie was, along with the first Cheaper by the Dozen movie. They did think Steve Martin did a good job with the script, but it wasn't enough to save the movie as a whole, according to their teenage brains.
Susie smirked at Kris' agreement with Noelle. "You're such a simp, dude." she stated, not once losing her playful demeanour. Ralsei chuckled a little at this. Just the word sounded funny to him. 'Simp'. Kris smirked as he pulled out his phone. Pressing his finger against a camera icon, his wallpaper faded into a mirror image of himself. "Hey guys, come jump in this selfie with me." the human called as he stood up from his seat. Noelle was quick to do so, standing beside Kris and wrapping her arms around his chest in a side hug. Ralsei walked up and stood beside her, holding his arms behind his back and looking into the camera in the cutest manner he could, although this succeeded in making him look rather shy to the camera.
Susie then stood beside him, trying her hardest to look cool for the camera. Kris snapped the selfie with his partners before pulling the camera back and looking at the photo. He paused, before turning back to his partners. "C'mon you guys, I know you all wanna do more than just stand there looking cute." Kris said with a smile. He knew them too well by this point. All they had to do was relax and be themselves. They were happy in this moment, so why not show it off? Kris raised the camera again, the selfie mode back on. This time, the actions and poses of them all were more laid back and playful.
Kris smiled and held up a peace sign for the camera with his free hand and Noelle gently moved her arms to around the neck and hugged him, her smile showing off her bright teeth for the camera lens. Ralsei shut his eyes and waved at it with a open mouthed smile, keeping one arm behind his back, which as a result, made him look even cuter than he did before and Susie, being the bad girl she is, also smirked for the camera while giving it two middle fingers. The camera once more took another picture and Kris, upon seeing the result, laughed to himself as the others sat back down in their respected seats. "Guys, that's SO going onto Facebook!" Kris said happily.
Kris went onto said website via an app on his phone and posted the picture. The picture took a few seconds to post, but once he saw the 'image posted' notification, he smiled. However, that smile quickly faded when Kris noticed something advertised. Right there on his timeline was an advertisement for a website. The artwork itself was white, with a few pink borders around the edges, along with some pink swirls. There was an image of a woman wearing nothing but a bikini, holding a mobile phone up. And above her was the title of said website:
'Peep Show'
The human sat down as he frowned at the ad, something Noelle noticed as he continued to glare at the ad, as though the advertisement itself had wronged him by simply existing. "Kris? Is there something wrong?" she asked, concerned for her boyfriend's happiness. Kris glanced over at the doe before lifting up the phone and showing her the screen. "That... is what's wrong." Kris said as Noelle glanced at the ad. She looked upon the ad, not seeming to find anything wrong with it. Her eyes met with the humans as she spoke. "Well, what's wrong with it? It just looks like a normal Peep Show ad."
Kris put the phone back in his pocket as he began to explain. "Exactly! It's Peep Show! I honestly don't get why people and monsters would be interested in websites like that. I'm familiar with the website from others, I remember that our head teacher had an assembly regarding Peep Show when it started popping up. From all I've seen of that site, it's just a bunch of lonely and / or horny users who pay other horny users to either get naked or do sexual shit on camera, all hidden behind a paywall."
Noelle just sat there, taken aback. She couldn't imagine herself doing stuff like that on a website, let alone for a bunch of strangers, even if she was getting paid for it. The amount of scandal that would occur if she had nudes or sexually explicit media of hers leak to the public! Susie shifted in her seat, as though there was something bothering her in that moment. Ralsei leaned in as though intrigued in what Kris was talking about. After a pause, Kris then continued.
"You know? I remember one Peep Show model got her videos leaked. Most of them were sex tapes of her getting nailed by different guys. When those videos leaked, especially one particular video where she was having a train ran on her by like... 7 guys, it cost her her job, her relationship, her family ties and a whole lot of other shit. If you ask me, if anybody was gonna start using Peep Show, they must be REAL desperate for either cash, attention or both." Kris finished, holding his arms and sitting back in his chair.
Susie scratched the back of her head, her nerves now at an all time high. Her eyes darted side to side, hoping that nobody would notice how nervous she was getting. "Uhh.. yeah. I don't get why monsters and humans would use a service like that dude. I'm more than thankful that I don't use it." Susie said. Her voice had an anxious inflection behind it however, one that was rather noticeable to the others. Noelle leaned forward. "Susie, are you okay? You look a little nerv-."
"But you DO have an account on there, don't you Susie?"
Susie's heart dropped upon hearing Ralsei say that. Out of all the times he could've brought it up, why did it have to be right then and there?! "Dude! They don't need to know I have an account on Peep Show!" Susie snapped in a flustered panic. Almost immediately as she realized what she had just said, Susie's hand slammed against her own mouth, her eyes going wide in shock, as though her mouth was working on its own and would spill more secrets if it wasn't silenced immediately. She glanced over at Noelle, who gasped in shock at this revelation.
She glanced over at Kris. The human sat there, his head slightly tilted away from his reptile girlfriend, only his eyes focusing on her, shooting an almost accusing glare at her. "Is this true, Susie?" Kris said, his voice filled with... some kind of emotion. It wasn't anger, but it wasn't relief either. Susie shot glances at Noelle and Ralsei, as if she was expecting them to jump in and save her. But they just sat there, their eyes focused on the reptile.
Realizing there was no hiding it anymore, Susie could only sigh and hang her head in shame. Kris might as well know the truth now that it was out there. "Yes Kris. I do have an account on Peep Show." A tense silence hung over the group after that confession. Susie was waiting for Kris to say something. Noelle and Ralsei were waiting for Kris to say something also. But there was nothing. Susie's mind relaxed a little. Maybe it won't be so-.
"Why?"
It was just one question, but it made Susie's blood run cold. She glanced up at Kris, his eyes locked onto hers with a judgmental glare behind them, hidden only behind his hair like some curtains. Even so, Susie could FEEL the daggers being pierced into her skin by her human boyfriend's stare. Susie gave a quick glance at the others, who seemed just as tense as she was in that moment, before looking back at Kris. "What? What do you mean 'Why'?" was all she could ask. Kris ran a hand through the fringe, causing his eyes to be visible, the daggers he was staring with now sharp enough to cut through marble.
"I mean, why do you have a Peep Show account?" Kris said slowly. It was clear he was trying to hold something back, although the others couldn't pinpoint exactly what it was. Susie just shook her head. "Why do you want to know, Kris?" she said, only for Kris to give a sharp rebuttal of "I'M asking the questions here.", a stern tone of voice present that gave the human a large amount of authority, all without so much as raising his voice at his girlfriend.
Susie began to feel defensive. It was almost like her boyfriend was interrogating her as she sat there. The sun was still beaming down on the group, but it might as well be a dark room with a bright light, given how tense things were. "I don't know! I guess it just... feels liberating to expose myself on there!" she answered, the defensiveness in her voice coming out as clear as the clouds above. There was a silence that loomed over the table. Ralsei opened his mouth to say something, probably something to try and quell the tension, before Susie interrupted with another confession:
"Besides, Peep Show helps me... pay some of me and my dad's rent for our apartment."
Kris' face dropped further, his judgmental gaze now replaced with a look of muted fury. There was something burning under his skin, something bad brewing inside. "What do you mean it pays you and your dad's rent?" He asked, a low growl almost audible behind his words. Noelle's worry began to increase. She KNEW Kris was pissed off whenever his voice dropped into a low growl. Maybe rightfully so if it was because Susie was hiding that whole Peep Show thing from him on purpose. "I mean, it pays the rent! Why the hell does it matter to you?!" Susie said, her voice on full defence.
Kris stood up suddenly, barely containing his anger. "It matters because you don't know what kind of CREEPS could be lurking on Peep Show, possibly preying on young girls like you!" Kris uttered, strain in his voice as though he was trying to keep himself calm. Susie was trying very hard not to buckle under the pressure as she kept up the defence against Kris' temper, which was quickly depleting from him. "Dude... EVERYONE is 18 and up on that site! I am allowed on that website. And I'll post content on there if it helps me and my father with payments. It's not like I'm exposing myself to minors on there!" Susie argued, standing up so she was almost eye level with her boyfriend.
"That's beside the point, Susie. I get it okay? Times are hard nowadays, the cost of living is on the increase and rent needs to be paid, but surely there are OTHER methods of getting paid. How do you know none of your followers are disgusting pervy old men?!" Kris responded back, the only other noise was Noelle giving a meek "Kris..." in an attempt to defuse the emotional time bomb before it detonated in front of her. Susie sat back down, frustrated. "I'd rather have that than no support at all." She muttered under her breathe. Kris was still fuming as he made no effort to sit back down himself.
"Okay, we're gonna drop this conversation about Peep Show, okay?" Noelle finally spoke up, now having the courage to speak out. Susie exhaled sharply through her nose and gave a "Whatever." in response. Noelle glanced over at Kris, who was still staring daggers at Susie. "Kris... I said we're gonna DROP it." Noelle repeated, her brow contorting into a glare as he looked at the human. Kris only glanced at Noelle for a second, before continuing to stare at Susie. This wasn't ignored by Noelle who was starting to lose her composure at this. "Don't ignore me, Kris! I'm telling you right now that all of us are gonna-!"
"How did you know about Susie's Peep Show, Ralsei?" Kris suddenly asked, interrupting Noelle. Now it was the goat prince that was put on the spot. Susie's attention perked up at this. "Ralsei, I swear to god, if you tell Kris...!" she angrily said at him. He was at a moral crossroads at this point. Does he tell Kris the truth and damage his relationship with Susie or lie to his face and protect what was left of her dignity? All he could muster up was an "Uhh..." as his mind scrambled to find a good answer that would satisfy one partner without upsetting or angering the other.
"Ralsei!" Kris snapped, causing the prince to jump. "Alright! I came across her profile on Peep Show while I was on the toilet and I started looking through her posts. Then, I came across this one picture of her posing naked in the mirror and I got hot and bothered, I started touching myself to it and then that was when you walked in on me Kris!" he confessed frantically as if he would die if he didn't spill the beans right then and there. Almost immediately after they left, Ralsei felt an overwhelming sense of guilt flush over his body.
Susie dropped her head in an attempt to suppress her anger at her fluffy boyfriend. Kris sat back in his chair, processing everything Ralsei had just told him. He... was jerking off to nude pictures of Susie? Before he could ask any further, Susie's voice spoke up, her voice filled with an eerie calmness, one that made Ralsei tense up, for he knew that she wasn't calm at having her secret revealed like this. "Ralsei... how? How did you see those pictures? There's a paywall on Peep Show and I didn't get any email regarding new followers on there." was all Susie asked.
Ralsei's eyes began to water as he gave out a meek "I used my magic to bypass the paywall?", almost anticipating an angry response from Susie. One he got as Susie's head shot up and her eyes, full of nothing but pure fury, stared daggers into Ralsei's soul. "Dude! That's the POINT of Peep Show! You don't see people's nudes for free on there! Especially not your girlfriend's! For fuck's sake, if you wanted to see me naked so badly, you could've just peeped at me and Noelle when we were getting changed a few nights ago!" Susie said angrily, earning a glance from Noelle.
"Hey! Don't bring me into this, Susie!" Noelle spoke up, Susie averting her glare from Ralsei, who was starting to tear up at how angry his girlfriend was getting, over to her doe girlfriend. Noelle returned a glare back before continuing. "I get that times are hard right now, with the cost of living going up and everything since your mother died, and I get that, I'm sorry that I can't help you. Really, I am, but you don't need to take it all out on Ralsei!"
"What?! You think I'm just taking anger out on Ralsei?!" Susie snapped, her rage limits past their breaking point. Noelle shrugged. "Well I'm not a therapist or a psychiatrist, but the way I see it, aside from financial gain, I believe you've turned to Peep Show as a way to feel some sort of validation from others that you don't get at home from your own father." She explained, trying to sound as professional as possible. Such an accusation made Susie's widen. There was NO way her girlfriend was saying such crap about her!
"That's not true at all, Noelle!" Susie snapped. Noelle shook her head, her frown turning to an annoyed glare. "Bullshit! Just cut the crap and be a little more open! That's ALL I'm asking of you! God, I feel like I don't even know you right now...!" she replied. Now it was Susie's turn to shrug. "Well, you should've known how much of a monster I can be and done a little bit more homework about finding out the kind of monster I am before you decided to jump head first into this relationship!" She snapped back, only to be answered with a sharp "Hey!" from Kris. Immediately, the daggers turned back to Kris before he continued.
"Me and Ralsei are in this with you both! Does that mean WE should've done OUR homework before having this relationship also?! For God's sake, we fucking love you both!"
Noelle scoffed suddenly. "Yeah, you're one to talk Kris." Noelle muttered. Kris turned to face her. "What's that supposed to mean?" He asked in an accusing tone, as if there was something Noelle was hiding from him. Noelle chuckled before turning to face her. "Well, I was just thinking that sure, you love Susie, but when it comes to me, perhaps, PERHAPS, you should've thought long and hard about it before you, oh, I don't know... confessed to Ralsei that you used to jerk off to the thought of me!" Noelle explained.
Kris blushed at this shocking revelation! Even Ralsei placed a paw in shock over his own mouth, neither boy thinking Noelle heard them! The human, who was fuming a few minutes ago, felt every ounce of anger evaporate from his mind, being replaced with a strong overwhelming sense of guilt. "N... Noelle, I-." he began before Noelle angrily interrupted him. "Don't you 'Noelle' me, Kris! I recall you said to Ralsei that you'd often be thinking of me whenever you were... in the mood, as YOU put it. Am I wrong?" Noelle shot back.
Kris started to get frustrated. "Alright, fine! It's true! But you mean so much more to me now than back then!" he stammered, his mind overflowing with surging currents of thoughts and violent rapids that churned his words and made them uneven, especially when they left his mind and his mouth. Such a confession did nothing to calm Noelle's mind. "Is that all I am to you? Just a living trophy you can masturbate to?!" Noelle questioned, her voice at first filled with hurt, before shifting slowly into anger.
Things were getting tense at this table as Kris stood up. "No! You're not just that! You're my friend, and now, romantic partner! I've always loved you! And nothing's gonna change that, okay?!" Kris snapped. Suddenly, Ralsei spoke up, seeming to have had something on his mind for a while. "Well, MAYBE you should BOTH stop hiding things like that from each other! Isn't the foundations of a relationship built on understanding each other and their difficulties for God's sake?!"
Kris stammered for a second before replying. "Well, yes, but there's some things that you might not feel comfortable revealing to your partners. It's just like the Snowgrave spell incident you mentioned that night we-." Kris explained, before Ralsei suddenly stood up. His eyes were closed, but Kris, Susie and Noelle could all sense a burning fury behind those eyelids. "How dare you..." Ralsei muttered. He then opened his eyes, his anger on full display. "How dare you! You have no right to bring up such a traumatic event from my past like that! If you had ANY idea of what that event did to me, then you would-!" Ralsei ranted, before Susie butted in.
"And YOU were the one telling us to stop hiding things? God, you're being such a hypocrite right now, dude!" Susie stated. Noelle folded her arms as she gave a damning remark of her own. "Says the one who chooses to hide her self harming!" Almost immediately, the conversation screeched to a halt as everyone's eyes went wide. Kris glanced around to see a crowd of shocked faces looking upon the table they were sitting (and standing in Kris and Ralsei's case) at like a boxing ring. Kris' heart sank when he noticed Toriel in the crowd.
Susie slowly turned her head to face Noelle, whose angry expression didn't fade once. "Say that again." the reptile girl snarled at the doe. Noelle didn't back down. Usually, she would, but her anger was too great for her to ignore. "Says the one... who chooses to hide... her self... harm." Noelle repeated, complete with short pauses to make sure Susie heard every. Single. Word that Noelle said. There was a tense silence over the table, Susie glared in tranquil fury as Noelle, Kris and Ralsei awaited a response from the reptile girl.
Almost as quickly as a speeding bullet, Susie's hands slammed against the table in rage as she lifted herself from her chair and shot an enraged finger at her girlfriend. "You have no fucking right to bring up something so personal to me in public like that!" Susie shouted, for all she saw in that moment was red. Noelle was quick to stand up as well, almost going toe to toe with her girlfriend. "Well, maybe YOU should stop lying to yourself and to others about things that are bothering you and you could probably get some damn help for once in your life!" Noelle screamed back in Susie's face, earning a growl from Susie.
"You know, since we're ALL airing out our dirty laundry right now...!" Ralsei spoke up, finally having some courage. He firstly pointed a finger at Kris. "You're such an abrasive person, Kris, and on top of that, not ONCE have you listened to me back in the Dark World when all I was trying to do was help you out with things when you first got there!", he ranted. Kris gave a rebuttal of "I DO listen to you, Ralsei!", such statement falling on deaf ears as Ralsei turned to Susie. "You are overreacted to the whole Peep Show thing!" he said with a finger pointed at the reptilian girl, Susie replying with a sharp "I'm NOT overreacting!" as Ralsei focused his attention on Noelle.
"And you Noelle? Look, I love you. I really do, but I wish you'd stand up for yourself every now and then." he finally finished. Unlike the others, Noelle didn't snap back a response. Instead, she stood there looking almost perplexed. "But... I DO stand up for myself Ralsei." she said. This perplexed attitude turned to an offended one when she heard Ralsei scoff at her statement. "Not often, I've heard. I'm sure if one of us pinned you to the ground and forced our way with you, you'd just lie there and take it without so much as a cry for help!" Ralsei stated, almost bluntly, as though his statement was a matter of fact.
Noelle's eyes went wide and her cheeks flushed red in a combination of embarrassment and anger at such a ludicrous claim from one of her two boyfriends. "Well, the same could be said right back to you Ralsei! You're just as much of a push over as you claim I am, especially with Rouxls!" Noelle fired back, all her systems trying desperately hard to hold her anger back. Every synapsis of her mind was eager to fire away, to deliver more cannonballs of hurtful truth towards Ralsei and damage what was left of his demeanour, but this wasn't her. A pacifist like her wouldn't throw a stone at someone she cared about!
Regardless, what Noelle had just said seemed to strike a nerve with Ralsei. He raised his hand and removed his glasses, giving a rather stern "Excuse me?" to the doe in front of him. Noelle was quick to fire an ugly response, despite all rational thoughts telling her not to. "You heard me, fluff boy! You're! A! Damn! Push! Over!" she replied, clapping her hands with every word for extra emphasis. Ralsei, for the first time in a while, gritted his teeth at the deer girl, nothing but pure rage shown beyond his curtain of sharp pearly whites. "Well, for YOUR information, you wouldn't have even GOT into this relationship with us if YOU didn't make the FIRST move on Kris!" Ralsei yelled through his gritted teeth, shocking Susie and Kris.
Noelle could only glare at Ralsei for that remark. "If I were you Ralsei, I'd choose my words VERY carefully." Noelle growled, pure venom in her eyes as the daggers within them continued to stab at Ralsei, who was returning daggers from his stare back at her. ""Yeah. I said it. If it wasn't for you smooching Kris that night, then NONE of us would've gotten together in the first place. Just... why can't you be more like that WITHOUT the Amarero?" Ralsei slowly said, his tone almost sounding mocking to the doe. Kris could only stammer out an annoyed "Guys..." before Noelle, now boiling over, turned herself to stand right in front of Ralsei.
"You know something, Ralsei? If you weren't my boyfriend, I would beat the SHIT out of you right now. First of all, that night? That damned night? We were drunk! ALL of us were drunk that night! And if you MUST know, I HAVE stood up for myself in the past! I can't even begin to tell you how many times I've had to have a go at Kris for his pranks" Noelle said, her voice now reduced to a low growl. A very uncharacteristic mood for the usually shy girl. Ralsei then walked up to her, standing toe to toe with her and getting right into her face. "The point. Still. Stands. You didn't have the metaphorical BALLS to tell Susie how you felt about her at first!" Ralsei growled back in response.
Pure rage filled Noelle mind, the rings on her and her partner's fingers glowing a fiery shade of red within their diamonds. It almost looked as though there was pure blood flowing inside the diamonds themselves. "Do NOT bring Susie into this!" Noelle snapped, giving Ralsei a shove. Susie, who had been glaring at the two arguing, then stepped between them, pushing them both aside further and keep them back at her arm's length. "Well I think you're BOTH being stupid!" Susie angrily snarled at the two. "Hey, I'm just saying the truth!" Ralsei fired back, pushing Susie's arm away from his chest.
"You guys, are we-?!" Kris stammered out before Noelle interrupted once again. "Oh that's nice Susie! Calling your girlfriend stupid now?!" Noelle uttered, her voice oozing with sarcasm. Susie turned her attention to Noelle upon hearing that. "Stupid AND childish! Just like him!" she added with a point back to Ralsei, further angering her boyfriend. "Oh, I'M being childish now, am I?!" the goat prince fired back. Almost immediately, Susie's head snapped back to him, a look of pure malice on her face. "Yes you are!" she snapped at the prince. Ralsei only responded with yet another snarl and a growl.
"I'm sorry, are we just ignoring the whole Peep Show thing with Su-?!" Kris yelled back at the three in front of him, having not moved from his seat once since the argument began. Before he could finish his sentence, all three of his partners snapped their heads over to him and gave one bitter and snappy response in unison, their voices filled by this point, with nothing but pure anger:
"SHUT UP KRIS!"
Almost immediately upon registering those words, Kris' mind gave way briefly to being hurt. Such words coming out of his partner's mouths. But as quickly as it appeared, it vanished, giving way to a more stronger, more powerful emotion. One that mirrored the emotions of Noelle, Susie and Ralsei in that moment. Pure rage. Gritting his own teeth, Kris slammed his own hand into the table and stood up, now level with his partners. With tears streaming down his cheeks and the ring's gem still glowing a wrathful red, he raised a finger at the three in front of him. "LIKE HELL I'M GONNA KEEP MY FUCKING MOUTH SHUT LISTENING TO YOU THREE!" Kris screamed at the others, drawing the shock of the crowd.
And with that, all hell broke loose among the three. All sense of logic quickly evaporated as everybody began to see red. Kris, Susie, Ralsei and Noelle's enraged voices merged into an ugly symphony that no human or monster should ever hear. Words filled with fury, venom and overall viciousness escaped out of their music sheets of their thought process and filled the air around them with horrid sound like clashing notes on a piano and discordant chords. As for the outside, the rest of the world became emptiness as black as smoke, which was fitting for the fire that raged on inside their hearts in that very moment in time.
Hurtful words that spewed out of the four's mouths blended so roughly that those outside the war zone would find it hard to determine what they were even arguing about. If they listened closely, they would pick out certain words, profanities, insults and the like, but never the whole conversation. Their faces turned as red as lava as the eruption that was their words continued. Toriel, who had watched the argument build to its boiling point, was horrified. She had NEVER seen Kris get this angry over something, especially not with his friends. For that matter, she had never seen NOELLE of all monsters get this angry either!
The four were in such fury with each other, spewing fire and brimstone, that they didn't notice Undyne in her police uniform walking up to them. With a few firm pulls part and a loud and clear "ALRIGHT! THAT'S ENOUGH! ALL OF YOU!", the argument quickly dissolved into a tense silence among the four partners, only broken by their angry and shaky breathing as they continued to stare daggers at one another. Undyne, who was standing in the middle, ready to stop anyone who tried to charge at the other, made quick glances at each of them before continuing, her voice now calmer than it was a few seconds ago.
"I don't know what it was that kicked this argument of yours off, but if you guys are gonna be this loud and this vulgar with each other, then you should probably go back home and not speak to one another until you've all calmed down." she said. Kris then stepped forward, bringing Undyne's attention to him. "Well I'm sorry for trying to defend my girlfriend...!" Kris snarled at his partners.
The others perked up at this, Ralsei giving a sharp "YOUR girlfriend?! She's with me and Susie too, you know!" in response. Undyne turned to face him and held her hand out. "I don't care what this about, okay?! Just drop the subject! I don't want to have to send you guys down to the station for disturbing the peace, but I WILL if I have to!" The fish officer said, trying to calm their anger. She then turned her attention to Susie, slowly putting her hand down as she walked up to her. "Especially you Suzanne Accrue. You and me have had some serious history together that I DON'T want to repeat with you." she said, her voice snarling with every word that leaked from her mouth.
With that, the situation was defused. Susie threw her arms up as if to surrender to Undyne's words. "Fine." she said, all rage in her voice now gone. Undyne nodded. "Good." was all she needed to say, before she walked off. Tension still lay in the air, but all the fuel the four could use to turn it into fire was gone. "I still stand by what I said earlier though." Ralsei uttered, his eyes looking elsewhere, away from his partners, as he folded his arms. Susie glanced over at the goat prince. "Dude... just drop it. You don't want to spend time in Undyne's office. Trust me." she said, her voice shaky as if reliving memories akin to the car crash that took her mother.
Noelle sighed sadly. "And I was really enjoying today until now." she lamented, tears brewing in her eyes. Susie walked up to the doe. She then took a finger and wiped away Noelle's brewing tears. "Yeah, I did too. But I think the best thing for now, is just... for us to go back home. I'll see you guys some other time." Susie said, her voice as calm as before. Kris still glared upon the others, before giving out a defeated "Fine. Whatever."
All four of them turned away from each other, not even bothering to look each other in the face. Even Noelle and Susie were obviously hurting from the harsh words they weaponized against each other. They weren't visible to each other, but each of them had tears burning and developing in their eyes, waiting for the perfect moment to be freed. Each of them only took a few steps away, intending to go in separate directions, when a sound stopped them in their tracks. A slow, rhythmic sound.
They all turned back, expecting one or the other to be making the noise, but they were surprised to find no one was. It was only until they turned to a nearby port-a-potty that they found a source. Leaning against the lavatory was Berdly, giving a slow, sarcastic clap towards the scorned lovebirds. He then straightened himself and walked towards them, making sure everybody had at least a few seconds in his sight. "Well, what a beautiful way to spend the day." Berdly said with sarcasm, his clapping coming to an end.
Kris folded his arms and shut his eyes, Ralsei looked confused, Noelle looked worried and Susie began to stare at him. "What do you want Berdly?" Kris asked, annoyed at the blue bird's presence. The bird stopped in the centre of the circle as everyone's eyes continued to be on him, an obvious disdain in both Kris and Susie's glares. "Oh, I don't want anything in particular Kris. I just wanted to see how the four lovebirds were doing. You all seemed so happy together until just now after all." Berdly said, a condescending tone ever so present in his voice.
Susie exhaled out of her nostrils. If this were a cartoon, there'd be small puffs of smoke leaving them with said exhale. "Leave us alone Berdly. None of us are in the mood to deal with your bullshit." she warned the blue bird. Berdly only turned around to face the reptile. "Oh, that's new Kris. You having your girlfriend here defend you? I thought chivalry has the MAN defending the woman, not the other way around." Kris opened his eyes and glanced up at Berdly.
"Piss off." was all he said.
Berdly stood there, almost looking taken aback by Kris' response, before his smug demeanour returned in full force. "Typical Kris. I just come up and state the facts and you just tell me to piss off, like the boisterous child you are." Berdly said. Kris couldn't pinpoint it, but he was sure there was another emotion at play from Berdly, aside from his usual smugness. Before he could inquire, Noelle stepped forward. "Berdly, I'm sorry okay? I've been busy with some things and-." she began to apologize, before Berdly lifted a finger towards her.
"Oh no no no, Noelle. I'm sure it's fine. While you were wallowing about with your... PARTNERS...!" Berdly said, almost sounding like he was spitting out the word 'partners' in total disdain, before pausing to calm himself down. Once he regained his bearings, he resumed. "I ended up doing most of, what should have been, OUR project myself. No thanks necessary, I would've been more than happy to do the project on my own from the beginning if I had known you were gonna ditch me to go hang out with Kris, Susie and...!" he began to rant, before noticing Ralsei.
"Ummm, hi...?" Ralsei meekly said, giving a small pathetic wave to the bird. The blue feathered nerd walked up, intrigued by this newcomer. He leaned over, taking in every detail upon the fluffy boy's face, taking note of his glasses, his eye colour, his horns, even the pink highlights in his fur. "Well now. I don't believe I've seen you before, stranger. I take it you must be Noelle's new girlfriend?" Berdly said. It was clear that he was trying to hold back... something. Ralsei glanced over at Noelle, who blushed at this turn of events.
"Umm, actually. I'm... only one... of her boyfriends." Ralsei said, a little unsure of what to say in the moment to this stranger. The bird's eyes widened. That 'something' I mentioned earlier became more noticeable in this one moment. As Ralsei looked deep inside Berdly's eyes, he didn't see shock behind them. Instead, he saw a different emotion. One he didn't think would come out of someone as (according to his partners) arrogant as him. An emotion you wouldn't expect coming out of someone who had just been told their project partner had multiple boyfriends:
Jealousy.
Berdly's mind burned with it. Green flames licked at his nerves, tempting him to blow his lid and tear into this... simpleton in front of him. But he kept his calm as he tried to proceed further and see what more he could uncover to the story. "Only one of Noelle's boyfriends? I never thought Noelle would be the hussy type of monster." Berdly remarked, Ralsei's brow furrowing in anger at Berdly's attitude. Said attitude had earned Berdly the ire of Susie, as she stepped forward to confront him. "Hey! Don't you talk about my girlfriend like that! Whoever she decides to go with is none of your damn business!" Susie snapped at the nerd.
Kris walked around and stood right in Berdly's face, everyone now standing in front of the nerd. "Don't take it out on Ralsei or Noelle just because YOU didn't get the chance to spend time with her Turdly!" Kris rudely remarked. Berdly seemed taken aback by the insult that Kris gave his name. He was about to make a remark back, when Kris spoke up again. "Maybe if you did some work on your social skills like you do with your academics, you'd probably have more friends to hang out with when you're not shoving your social awkward face into an open text book. Or better yet, maybe Noelle will finally call you an actual 'friend' once you drop the douchebag attitude."
Berdly turned around to face Noelle, who was mortified at the implication Kris was sharing with her lab partner. "Berdly, Kris doesn't mean any of that!" Noelle quickly said. Kris scoffed and fired back a bitter "Bullshit, Noelle! You told us what you really think of him, so why don't you share it with him as well?". Susie and Ralsei's eyes went wide at this turn of events. Kris was actively instigating Noelle into pushing back against Berdly? This was unheard of for the group, even Susie DID think such an event was a long time coming between her fellow classmates.
"She's OUR girlfriend Berdly, just like how we're each other's boyfriends and girlfriends! You had your chance to get with Noelle a long time ago, and even, I highly doubt she feels that way about you like she does with us!" Ralsei suddenly spoke up. This took the others by surprise, since usually, Ralsei would just stand in the background during confrontations, not daring to add his two cents into an argument for fears of being pounded for them. Berdly's eyes burned with a dangerous mix of envy and wrath as he glared daggers at the four.
"It's pathetic you know! Anybody, and I repeat, ANYBODY, could've gotten with..." he began before pointing at each partner to further push his points forward. "An emo kid like Kris...!" he started, pointing his finger at the human, "A brute like Susie...!", pointing a finger at the reptile girl, "And a wimp like... whatever your name is!", Berdly finished, pointing his finger at the goat prince. "Hey! I'm not a wimp! You're the one that missed out on getting with Noelle!" Ralsei angrily fired back, such a statement that Berdly ignored as he finished his point.
"While she could've gotten with a guy like me." Berdly said, sounding as smug as he ever could, all the while pointing his finger at himself. The group was silent, tension hanging in the air like a voodoo hex. After a while, Kris spoke up. "Fine. Why don't we let Noelle PROCEED to tell her how SHE feels about YOU then?" Noelle's eyes went wide. 'Proceed'. THAT was the word he used to force the truth out of her. And he had just used it now.
She had some horrid truths about Berdly in mind and now she was about to spill them against her will. The only thing she could do before the spell took over was turn to face Kris and give an angry "Oh fuck off Kris!" before her eyes went completely white and she snapped back to face Berdly, such an act startling the blue avian in front of her. That is, if the act of Noelle openly using profanity didn't already shock him first.
What followed was Noelle spilling her thoughts about her lab partner, her voice just as monotone as the last time the trigger word was used.
"I think you're a pathetic waste of precious oxygen. We all know that you use your grades to boost yourself up, along with your ego, because you have nothing else to prove your worth. You acting the way you are in front of me and my partners just shows how jealous you really are, that we have somebody to love and cherish, while you don't. But rather than improve yourself, you'd rather hide behind the achievements you already have. You have virtually no social life outside of those you talk to online, and you only get relief otherwise when you jack off to lewd art of video game and anime characters. You are the most pathetic classmate I've ever had the displeasure of working with, and there is no way that I'd EVER, during my lifetime, consider becoming your girlfriend."
Almost immediately after the sentence ended, Noelle returned back to her normal state of mind, immediately slamming a hand against her mouth in shock. Berdly on the other hand, was horror-stricken at what was just said about him. The group even noticed some tears beginning to form in the corners of his eyes, indicating that Noelle hit SOME sort of nerve with her rambling just now. "You... you really feel that way about me?" Berdly asked, his voice quivering, as if he was about to burst into tears. Noelle removed her hands from her mouth. She was going to backtrack on her words, when she felt Susie's hand on her shoulder.
A glance back made Susie say something that she wished Noelle would do for as long as they've known each other. "Stand up for yourself. Don't apologize for how you feel.". That was all she needed to say, since Noelle turned back to face Berdly and spoke once again, all fear and worry vanished from her tone. "I'm sorry Berdly, but yes. Those ARE how I feel about you. Granted, I could've said what was on my mind in a more friendlier tone..." she explained, slowly turning to glance accusingly at Kris upon mentioning how she could've spoken about it, who motioned for her to keep going, before turning back to face Berdly to continue. "But a relationship between us just wouldn't work, due to those aforementioned reasons."
Berdly's heart broke in that moment. His fears had just come true right in front of him. His mind was racing, unsure of how to respond. In a panic, his mind went to the default response of his: defending his pride rather than admit his shortcomings. "Well..." he began, sounding like he was about to cry. This changed when he suddenly took on a more confrontational tone of voice, something the others could tell was just him hiding how hurt he was. "Well, fine! I don't even need to have a relationship with you anyway! I'll finish the project by myself and get into higher education without you! And then you can spend your time with your precious partners and your mom and dad!" he gushed out.
Berdly turned around, as if to walk away, but then turned back slowly, raising a finger in the air as if he had just remembered something. His mouth curling into a malicious smile. "Oh wait, remove that last part about your dad." Berdly uttered. The four lovers looked confused. "Wh... what about my dad?" Noelle asked, still weary of what Berdly was implying. "Berdly, what are you talking about?" Kris said, wanting an explanation out of his rival. Something all four of them were about to get.
"Oh it's nothing. It's just that... I was at the hospital earlier today, looking for some information regarding the project. And I was looking through some medical textbooks that the doctors had kindly given to me for my research. As I did so, I just so happened to look up towards a window into a corridor. And guess who I saw... in a bed, covered by a white sheet... on the way to the morgue."
That was all Berdly had to say, his smug smile not once vanishing from his face despite the sensitive topic, before it dawned on the four. Kris, Ralsei and Susie both went wide eyed in shock, while Noelle's eyes, upon realizing her father was dead, began to water. "Oh god no!" was all Noelle could say before turning back and running into the nearest partner's arms, which happened to be Ralsei in that moment. She spent the rest of that moment crying into the goat prince's shoulder, Ralsei trying to comfort her in any way he could, whispering reassuring words into her ear and holding her tightly.
"Wh... what?! We only saw him last week and he was fine! How could he-?" Susie stammered before Berdly interrupted. "The complications were too much for dear old Rudolph Holiday. The doctors tried everything to keep him alive, but in the end, his heart couldn't take them anymore and he fell into cardiac arrest... and passed away in that operating room. At precisely 12:45 PM today." Berdly stated as though he was narrating a story. A rather cruel method of breaking the news if you ask me, dear reader.
Noelle, upon hearing this, could only cry harder. 12:45PM was the same time that she met up with the others, looking forward to a bright and happy day together at the festival. If she had known that her father would die at that time, she would've went down to the hospital with them and been by his side. It would've hurt her all the same, but at least she would've gotten some comfort when he did pass. But now, her happy memories of today were dashed by this sudden and tragic news.
Kris glared at Berdly, fury growing in his heart. "This is revenge for you, Berdly? Breaking Noelle's heart, just because YOU can't have her?!" Kris snarled at the bird, gritting his teeth as he spoke. Berdly leaned back, faking shock from being accused. "Me? Breaking a girl's heart? I wouldn't do such a thing. Noelle was gonna hear about it from somewhere. I was just doing her a favour!" Berdly said, almost defensively. Noelle, who had her eyes buried in Ralsei's shoulder, looked up upon hearing this. Inside her mind, rage was building up as her ring began to glow a blood red once more.
Now, it was Susie's turn to speak up. "Even so, there's a more tactful way to do so! We were having the time of our lives before you showed up!" her voice filled with brewing anger. Berdly just laughed. "The time of your lives huh? It didn't look like that a few minutes ago. Last I saw before I made my presence clear was you guys having a vicious argument with each other. I don't think I'd call THAT the time of my life if I were you guys!" he said in the most smug manner he could.
Noelle's breathing became heavy and her brow furrowed as her grip on Ralsei's back got tighter, as if she was trying to calm herself down. Kris glared at Berdly, his face curling into a fist. "Berdly, that's enough." he warned, his voice closely resembling a growl of sorts. Despite the warning, Berdly continued. "Noelle shouldn't feel too bad. Holly Ann already knows about it and is not planning on telling Noelle any time soon." In the crowd, Catti, who was drawn in by hearing her classmates arguing, took out her phone and started filming the scene in front of her.
"Shut up Berdly!" Susie snapped while Ralsei let out a soft "Ow! Noelle, you're starting to hurt me." in the background, in response to Noelle as she dug her nails into his back in anger as Berdly's words. Berdly smiled and continued, not seeming to care about Noelle in the moment. "It's such a shame you know. If you guys hadn't pulled her out to spend time with you all, maybe, just maybe, she could've spent her father's last moments by his side." Berdly remarked, the most cruel tone in his voice being the most noticeable. Kris and Susie both began to shake in anger.
Any more comments from Berdly and all bets were off! They were gonna push him to the floor and beat him senseless! Missing teeth, black eyes, bruises and cuts, maybe even broken bones, all the works. In that moment, both the human and the reptile felt like somebody as inconsiderate and purposely mean-spirited as the bird in front of them DESERVED to have the shit kicked out of him. Kris had been holding back for so long, but one more comment and he was gonna let himself loose on Berdly!
Ralsei gave a glare of his own at Berdly as he spoke up. "Berdly! You have no right to upset Noelle like this at all! I'm telling you right now that you need to stop!" the prince exclaimed between grunts of pain from Noelle's nails. It was obvious that Berdly was speaking out of jealousy, but even so, it wasn't an excuse for the bird's behaviour. He glanced over at Ralsei before folding his arms and giving one last damning statement. "Perhaps, you guys are nothing but dangerous to each other. You're all just too stupid in love to realize it."
And just like that, all bets were off. Kris and Susie were ready to throw down against the bird. They could just see it now: Berdly on the ground, begging for mercy, taking back every hurtful word he had said about the group, both Kris and Susie standing over him, punching and kicking him relentlessly, insulting and berating him as they do so. But before they could put their plans into action, Noelle did something nobody saw coming:
She snapped.
For one moment in time, it felt like the world was moving in slow motion for the others, just like Antichrist's opening. Well, minus the graphic sex and the child death of course. If this moment was a scene in one of those fancy art house movies, it would have been in slow motion, maybe with some classical piece or an opera singer over the top of each shot, crafted to suit the moment. Back in reality, everything just happened so quickly. What felt like minutes for Ralsei, Kris, Susie and Berdly was only a matter of seconds for Noelle and everyone outside of her red mist. But regardless, it was a shocking turn of events for all involved.
The first thing that happened was that Noelle released her grip on Ralsei's back, causing him to fall to his knees as she turned around, fury in her eyes. Her lungs released a wrathful scream as she charged forward, her hand curling into a fist behind her head. Kris and Susie both turned towards the source of the scream, just in time to see the doe run past them, tears rushing out of her eyes as her rage consumed her. Berdly, upon noticing the girl running at him, jumped back slightly as his eyes went wide.
Before anybody could register what was going on, the fist flew forward like a shotgun blast. Berdly didn't even have time to brace himself for the impact. Just as Ralsei looked up at the scene in front of him, Noelle's fist made contact with Berdly's right eye. A shock wave rippled through the bird's face as his eyes slammed shut and his feet gave out from underneath him. His upper body fell backwards from the blow and gravity betrayed the genius' body as it pulled him towards the Earth's core. It was only stopped when the back of his head collided with the dirt beneath him, followed by the rest of his body.
Berdly opened his eyes, one of them starting to gain a black ring around it, to see Noelle, with tears still streaming from her eyes. She furiously glared at Berdly, pure rage in her eyes, before moving towards him and sitting down hard on his stomach. Berdly felt a crushing weight on his diaphragm, as though an elephant had made his stomach his home. Before he could get up and make an effort to push Noelle off him, he felt a crushing grip on his throat. He began to struggle to breath, before being greeted with another punch to his face, knocking his face to the side.
This was followed by another blow, then another, and then another. Noelle's fury was horrifying to her boyfriends and girlfriend. This level of brutality coming from someone as meek was Noelle was shocking to everyone else. Occasionally, Noelle would grab the nerd's head and lift it up, before slamming it down hard against the gravel. Berdly could swear that after one particular punch, he felt a tooth being pulled from his gums by the impact of her fists. A fist that slammed into his cheek forced his head into one direction and made him spit out a red liquid onto the dirt beside him.
It was a wonder how Berdly wasn't unconscious by this point. But just as quickly as things seemed to move slowly for the others, time seemed to speed back up as they realized what it was Noelle was doing, and how far she was taking this.
"SHUT UP! SHUT UP! SHUT THE FUCK UP! YOU DON'T KNOW SHIT ABOUT MY FAMILY, ASSHOLE!" Noelle screamed at Berdly with every blow she delivered. All that was coursing through Noelle in that moment was pure rage. Years of repressed anger towards him, being released in a flurry of screamed profanities and landslides of full force punches. She didn't care if she killed Berdly in that moment. All that mattered to her was beating him senseless.
Catti, seeing that through the phone, glanced up to make sure her camera WASN'T playing tricks on her. Sure enough, it wasn't. Noelle was on top of Berdly, strangling and beating him up! Ralsei, upon seeing what was happening, quickly got up and ran over to Noelle. "Noelle, stop it!" he pleaded with her as he grabbed her fist, and tried to hold it back. He quickly glanced over at Kris and Susie, who looked just as frightened at Noelle's outburst as he did. "Help me!" he commanded of them.
Susie and Kris quickly realized that Ralsei needed help and ran over. Even Toriel, who was already horrified, was quickly making her way over to break up the fight. "Get off me Ralsei! I'm not done with Berdly yet!" Noelle shouted with venom in her voice as she tried to resist Ralsei's grip on her hand. Kris and Susie grabbed Noelle under the arms and tried to lift her off of Berdly. "Noelle, that's enough! I think you've made your point now!" Kris shouted over Noelle's screams of rage and Berdly's begs for mercy.
One lift in particular got Berdly's throat freed of Noelle's grip, allowing him to breathe. Another pull upwards got the doe off of his stomach, allowing him to crawl away from her in a panic. Upon Noelle's feet touching the ground, Noelle found the strength to break free of Ralsei and Susie. The two backed off, but Kris stood his ground, clinging on Noelle's arm as if he'd die if he so much as thought of letting go. Still in a blind fury, Noelle spun on the spot and with a enraged "FUCK OFF!", swung an open hand in her partner's direction. After that flare-up, she stopped in her tracks and began to calm down.
She took a glance ahead. Susie and Ralsei stood before her, eyes wide and horrified at Noelle's sudden outburst of anger. She glanced side to side, asking the two "Wh-where's Kris?" before she looked down and got her answer, her eyes going wide and her mouth falling open in horror. Lying on the ground in front of her was Kris, panting as though he just had the wind knocked out of him. One hand were pressed against the dirt as he faced away from her, the other was pressed against his cheek. "Kris! Are you okay?" Toriel said as she quickly ran up to her son. She made Kris look at her and gently removed his hand from his cheek.
Kris turned back to face Noelle. He looked mortified himself at what Noelle had just done to him. It didn't dawn on her until she saw it. A newly made red mark, which was in the shape of Noelle's own hand, had formed on Kris' cheek. The human's eyes were watering as he looked up at her with shaky breath. Noelle was just as horrified at this. "Just what the hell is the meaning of this Noelle?! Kris did everything for you during both of your childhoods and your time together and THIS is how you thank him?!" Toriel angrily asked Noelle.
"Never mind Kris, look what she did to Berdly!" Susie said in shock, pointing at the bird behind the doe. Noelle turned around and was horror-struck at what she saw. Berdly was still conscious and was thankfully sitting up, but his face was in ruins. His glasses were broken and his left eye had a large black ring around it. Caked all over his face were bruises and his blood, part of his beak appearing to start swelling too. Berdly blew out through his mouth, causing a few loose teeth to come flying out into his palm, before coughing to himself, trying to get his breath back.
"B-Berdly! I'm so sorry, I-!" Noelle began, walking up to him. Berdly's eyes met Noelle's and his eyes went wide. "G-Get away from me!" Berdly stammered. Not out of anger, nor jealousy either, but out of a new emotion. One that nobody could guess would've came out of Berdly, especially towards someone as innocent as Noelle: fear.
Berdly was AFRAID of Noelle due to the beating she had given him.
Berdly quickly got to his feet, ignoring the pain in his face, and started to back away from the doe as she continued to approach. "Berdly, wait a minute! I'm sorry! I didn't mean to-!" she tried to apologise, but he was too scared to go near her. He picked up a nearby chair and held it between them both. "Stay away from me! I'm telling you, stay away!" his voice quivered. All he wanted at this point was to get away from the doe that hurt him. Noelle only a took step further before Berdly threw the chair at her.
It didn't do much to hurt her, but it gave him time to turn around and run away. Noelle could only watch as Berdly, blood dripping from his face, disappeared out of the festival entrance and over the hill, back to presumably his home. She then looked back at the others, tears brewing in her eyes. "Kris... I'm so sorry. I swear, I wasn't trying to smack you there! I just lost my temper! That was all! I... I...!" Noelle tried to explain, her voice becoming more and more shaky as she started to lose her composure. It was clear to everyone, she had hurt her childhood friend and boyfriend. And she felt so guilty about it.
She only stood for a few more seconds, before turning around and running off also, crying as she did so. Ralsei, upon seeing Noelle begin to run away in tears, quickly ran off after her, shouting a simple "Noelle, wait!" as he made pursuit with her. This just left Kris, Susie and Toriel alone. "What just happened, Kris? Noelle isn't like that usually." Toriel asked, now calmer than before. Kris glanced over at her, before looking back at Susie. The reptile was just as lost for words as he was, as she just sadly looked back down at him.
Kris then looked back at his mother and could only give one answer:
"The four of us... we had an argument. And it got out of control."
It took quite a while for Kris and Susie to find Ralsei and Noelle. They found them both in the woods, Noelle holding a crying Noelle in his arms, out of the public's eye. She was upset that she was capable of hurting someone as badly as she did to Berdly, but she was even more upset that she lay a hand on Kris in such a rough manner. Kris insisted that he was happy walking home with Ralsei, Susie and Noelle to Toriel, who originally insisted she took him home before he made it clear he was okay. Besides, Toriel had some cleaning up to do now that the festival was coming to a close. During their walk back home, she profusely apologised to him, seemingly unable to move on from it. Despite this, they were relatively quiet with each other.
They still fumed over the argument they had, but now, it seemed their anger took a backseat over the events of what happened. This silence gave each of them time to think. Ralsei thought back to all those days that the four enjoyed each other's company, the dates, the party, everything. He was now worried that this event was going to taint the memories. Noelle's head was filled with broken memories of her father. She just couldn't believe it. Her father was gone and nobody told her about it until now. And somebody did, she beat them up over it. Granted, Berdly DID kind of deserve it, but Noelle thought it would be either Kris or Susie that would beat Berdly, never her!
Susie thought back to her father and her mother. She was so happy when her family was one. Things seemed to break apart after her mother died. But then she found happiness in Kris, Ralsei and Noelle, much more happiness than she did with her father's drinking habits. And now? She was worried she was going to lose them after today. Kris... Kris' mind was all over the place. His school. His home life. Asriel. Toriel. His father, Asgore... his partners. So many rattled in his head like loose screws, making the noise inside it louder than usual.
After a while, they were back in their hometown. "Well, we're back home. I think the best thing for us four to do now, is just to go home and call it a night. Noelle? Susie? I'll see you both later on." Kris said. Ralsei then spoke up. "But I thought we were gonna hang out and watch a-?"
"I know what we originally planned!" Kris snapped, startling Ralsei into silence. The group were silent briefly as Kris calmed himself down. He then sighed before walking up to them. "I know that we made plans to... go back to one of our places and watch some movies, but I'm concerned that... after today, we'll end up having another argument if we stayed together this evening. That one we had at the festival was vicious, and we said some very hurtful things about each other. I DO NOT want to have a repeat of that this evening. So, I think it's for the best that we leave it for tonight and watch a movie another time." he explained.
Susie folded her arms. "Yeah, honestly? I'm not in a good mood myself." she said. Noelle followed with a "Me neither." Ralsei then walked up and planted a kiss on each of his partner's lips. "I'm gonna get going myself then. I'll speak to you guys another time." Ralsei said as he faced away from then. He then raised his hand and spun it in an anticlockwise motion.
"Insciente vinctum!"
With those words, a portal opened up, to which Ralsei stepped through. "I've got your phone numbers, so I'll call you guys if I need anything, okay?" he asked as he turned back to face them. The goat then gave a small smile and a wave, one the others returned, but with a look of concern on their faces. It was only when Ralsei turned around that he learned why. Standing behind him with a stern look on his face was Rouxls Kaard, no doubt disappointed in Ralsei for going back to the light world without his knowledge.
"Wait Rouxls, I can explain!" Ralsei panicked as the portal closed. This left only three. Noelle took Kris' hand in hers, still wanting some comfort from her human boyfriend. "You guys? My home isn't far from here, so I'm gonna get going too. I'll see you guys at school." Susie said. She then walked up to the two, giving them both a hug, one they returned, before Susie walked off. This now left Noelle and Kris alone together. "Do you want me to walk you back home Noelle?" Kris asked. The doe didn't need to say a word, she just looked at him and nodded.
With that, the two walked off back home, hand in hand. The two of them were silent, aside from the occasional sniff or sob from Noelle. She was still mourning the loss of her father as far as Kris was concerned. A few minutes passed and the two were at Noelle's establishment, right outside the gates. Noelle released Kris' hand as she walked towards the gate. "I... have my key this time, so I'll be okay going in." Noelle said. Kris gently took her hand again. "You know, I can stay with you if you'd like me to. I told Toriel I'd walk you back home and Asriel can look after himself, so we could-." Kris began to explain, a smile on his face.
Noelle just shook her head. "I appreciate the offer, but I... I just..." she began, but couldn't finish her sentence. Kris continued. "I mean, I don't have to stay all night. Just long enough for you to feel better, that's all. We can... watch movie, play videos... or just... talk. Or we could just cuddle if you wanted to." He tried to explain. He didn't want to leave Noelle by herself during this time of grief. If anything, Kris felt like Noelle NEEDED him more than ever now. But he was pulled out of those thoughts when he felt Noelle free herself from his gentle grip of her hand.
"Kris..." Noelle said, sounding slightly annoyed. "Don't act like all these acts of kindness and goodwill are not methods of getting me to have sex with you, okay?" Kris was taken aback. At NO point did he mention anything about having sex with Noelle, but there she was, throwing it into the mix. She must still be upset about what she overheard Kris say to Ralsei all those nights ago. "Normally, I'd be down with it. Hell, I've even thought about it since that night we all woke up naked together and if I wasn't mourning, I would bring you indoors, up to my bedroom and I'd let you give it to me all night long if you wanted, but right now... I'm just not in the mood." Noelle continued.
Kris opened his mouth, about to protest Noelle's inclusion of having sex with him, but then shut it. She was still upset after all, and if he said anything, they'd probably argue again. And another argument was something neither of them wanted. Kris looked back to his place and gave a meek "Okay." in response. He turned to face his home and took a few steps forward. His mental state was at rock bottom by this point, but he tried to ignore it. Not in front of Noelle.
"Goodnight, Noelle." Kris said sadly, wiping a tear from his eye. Noelle looked just as upset as he did in that moment, as she wiped a tear brewing in her eye also. "Goodnight, Kris." she said as the gate opened. She walked through it as Kris made his way back home. As he walked towards the Dreemur residence, Kris felt an overwhelming sadness wash over him. There it was again, those intrusive thoughts. "They hate you now, just like you were worried about." "They're gonna ditch you once someone better comes along." All sorts of horrible thoughts. But he dare not react to them. At least, not just yet.
Walking through the door, he was greeted by Asriel lying on the couch, watching TV. The older goat glanced up at Kris before focusing back on the TV. "Hey Kris, how was the festival?" Asriel asked. Kris didn't answer his question, instead he just walked past him, giving a simple command of "Don't talk to me." to his brother as he passed by. Asriel sat up, concerned. "K-Kris?" he asked. Again, no answer. The human just walked up the stairs and into him and Asriel's room. Closing the door behind him, he walked to the centre of the room and sat down.
Once Kris was comfortable, he loaded up Facebook on his phone and had another look at the picture he took earlier. The four of them smiling and happy, reminding him of happier times, both before today and before the argument. He saw that 10 people had liked the picture, although he did wonder how many of them actually liked the picture and not just pressed a button that said they did. Looking back at his and his partner's smiles made his eyes water. Kris shook a little as he foght back the urge to cry.
But it was all too much. The fight he had today, that night, the Dark World, his parents' divorce, his suicide attempt, Asriel leaving for college. All those memories came back in the most painful manner. Eventually, Kris gave in, gently throwing his phone down and crumpling into a sobbing mess on the rug, this emotions overflowing from his eyes and staining the carpet beneath him. Nothing mattered to him any more. Nothing at all. A few minutes of crying passed, when the door suddenly opened. Sitting up straight, he saw the silhouette of Asriel standing in the doorway, looking concerned for his brother.
Seeing his brother like this, the older goat walked into the bedroom and wrapped his arms around Kris, the human returning the hug as he cried into his shoulder. Asriel just held him as he let his brother sob. Another few minutes passed before Asriel broke the silence with a simple question:
"Kris? What happened at the festival?"
