Chapter 1

Waking up in a desert is nothing new to Arthur. Walking across the Mojave was nothing new. Hell, it happens often. However, he didn't remember falling asleep next to a campfire.

Sitting up he looked around through the eyes of the Elite Riot Helmet. Nothing serious, outside of the fact that there was no campfire, or road. Hell, looking around there was no sign of the Lucky 38. "What the hell…" Standing up he heard a small crunch under his foot. As he lifted his foot, there was the Transportalponder, fried to hell.

"And there is the reason. Fucking Think Tank." Arthur palmed his helmeted face and took a breath. "Bearings. Need to get bearings. At least I wasn't robbed again." Arthur pulled up his Pip-Boy and looked at the map. Sadly, there was no satellite connection, and the map was unidentified. "Fuck. At least the compass works." And with that he looked on the horizon and attempted to find any kind of landmark. Sadly, nothing but rocks and sand.

"Why…just why. Since Benny, things have been wild." Sighing, he oriented himself north and set off. As he walked the vast desert, he took stock of his supplies. A few dozen weapons, some sets of clothes or armors, and a shit ton of ammo and food. All atomized into his mass thanks to the Pip-boys atomization tech. He never understood it, but maybe it is just magic. It is supposed to link it to his overall mass, but that never made sense, so he just called it magic. Made traveling a breeze however. Just needed to make sure he didn't die of exposure now.

As Arthur Walked, he thought back to what happened before he left. He couldn't remember much aside from the fact he had a date with Cass. "She is gonna kill me." His damned whiskey Rose. Thinking more, he had to head to Big MT for a quick check on an experiment he was running to try and boost crop yield for the NCR. And then an explosion and nothing.

"So either Legion or Raiders. Why am I not surprised? No matter how many I put in the ground…bastards." Crossing a sand dune, he saw a small squad of four people, all girls that were colorfully dressed. And they were fighting an animal. A large black and white animal, serpentine in nature. They seemed to be having a bit of an issue, probably due to the fact they were using small melee weapons, and a crossbow.

After staring at the David and Goliath nature of the fight, dumbfounded at the nature of the mutations, and also the strange weapons of this portion of the world to fight said mutant animals. After snapping out of it, Arthur pulled out his modified Anti-Material Rifle, and chambered explosive match rounds.

After finishing his setup, he saw the girls get smacked away, and start to regroup. He decided to ease the burden by opening fire at the serpent creature. How it had two heads, he noted by the fact that one kept its eyes on the girls whilst the other looked for where someone was taking out black and white chunks out of it, he had no idea. As he continued to fire, he was moving, using his augments to help take the recoil as he moved. The girls did not question the surprise help and started to begin attacking the snake monster again.

As he fired, he kept an eye on the girls, and luckily they didn't take too many more hits. Soon, the monster died, with one head gored by rounds, but no blood or ichor, and the other slashed and punctured by bolts and knives, with a spear impaled into one of its eyes. As the girls recovered their weapons, Arthur holstered his weapon after fully loading it.

"Hello! How are you?" Arthur called as he approached the girls. Approaching he got a better look at them. The girls themselves were wearing very color coded outfits. They looked nice, but did not make much sense for a desert. Also holy shit are they young.

The girls looked at each other before one approached, this one blue colored. "We were having some trouble. Don't want to think about what would have happened if that Grimm got us."

She smiled nervously, before holding out her hand. "Nebula Violette. Leader of Team NDGO."

Looking at her hand, he saw her hand shake slightly before he took it. "Arthur. Arthur Kane." He nodded and smiled under his helmet. "So uh…that was some kind of animal, Grimm you said?"

End of Chapter 1.

A/N Yes, we have another Fallout/RWBY Crossover. I know. It won't be good. Writing this for the hell of it. Probably not the best thing ever, and likely won't be. Gonna be a serious nonsense fic for the most part. Taking inspiration from "The bringer of war" and "Jaune: Center of the Universe." on fanfiction. Throwing this out for the hell of it, as it likely won't really matter. Take the maxed out console commands courier, NCR Good Karma, do what you can to get the best ending type of character and that's who I Am trying to write. Probably gonna be terrible but oh well. Gonna come out slowly, since this is a write as I go, but I am gonna try and expand on what I know. I stopped watching RWBY awhile back, and it seems to be the general case as this is starting out shortly before Volume 1, with some things not existing . People are alive, if they are alive, sorry Summer Rose Fans. But I plan to do my own thing, as there are some things I think could be better done in Vanilla, and I'll use Arthur to point it out and push it in the direction. And this is shorter than I thought, but hopefully it will get longer as time goes on.
