Disclaimer: I don't own Danny Phantom or 6teen.

The sun rose on another day in the town of Amity Park. Birds were chirping, and kids were getting ready for school. Yet, ghosts were already causing a scene.

Danny Fenton, a fifteen-year-old sophomore in high school, was walking with his friends, Sam and Tucker, when they noticed screaming coming from across the block. A blue wisp left young Danny's mouth, indicating a ghostly attack, or at least someone being bothered. Not all ghosts were a threat.

"You guys go on without me," Danny said as he left the group. "This will only take a minute."

"Dude, you know if you're late, Lancer's gonna give extra homework again, right?" Tucker asked.

The ghost boy nodded with some grief. It was the obvious, but it seemed another school day would start late. But that was not important for the time.

Finding an isolated area, two white rings appeared around Danny as they transformed him into his alter ego, Danny Phantom. Flying through the air, our ghostly hero saw this morning's incident with the ghost Johnny 13 coming in hot on his motorcycle.

The punk ghost had a stern face on as he revved his bike. He was not in a good mood and needed something for his aggression.

"Ok, Johnny, I'd really appreciate it if you wouldn't cause trouble before school," Danny said with a glowing fist. "It's cutting it close for me."

And in came Danny Phantom, right on time.

Johnny grinned as he tilted his bike at the boy, pushing him back then storming off. He glanced back at the ghost boy with a look telling to follow.

Danny groaned as he checked the time. He was cutting things close, but if he didn't do something, people could get hurt.

It was just one of the bothersome things about being a hero.

Danny raced over, catching up again. Only this time, he greeted with an ecto-beam at the punk.

"You know, it'd be a lot easier if you wouldn't cause so much trouble," Danny commented.

"Relax, kid. I just want to blow off some steam," Johnny replied nonchalantly. The headlight glowed as a beam of ectoplasmic energy shot out. Danny was hit head on as the biker rode forward with his fist hanging out.

But Danny wasn't going to take another hit so quickly. The ghost boy froze Johnny's bike with an icy blast before sending an ectoblast to shatter it. His fire flew forward and into his fist as he was thrown back.

Johnny rolled on the ground as he came to a stumbling and painful halt.

"Oh that tears it! Shadow! Attack!" Johnny cried out from the dirt.

Out of the ground and into the air, Johnny 13's shadow snarked at Danny. Lunging forward, the dark ghost slashed at his foe with razor, sharp talons.

Danny groaned at the attack. He was too concerned with school to care about the ghost. So, he channeled blue ectoenergy into his hands and fired an ice beam. First, the unlucky shadow was frozen, and then Johnny was encased in ice.

Grabbing his ghost capturing device, the Fenton thermos, the ghost boy ended the fight and anything else that would've started.

"Glad that's over," Danny sighed as he closed the gap. Taking off at fantastic speed, the boy did everything to get to school on time. He didn't need Lancer breathing down his neck or any more extra homework.

But he was too late as the school bell rang as he landed and transformed back to human.

Danny made his way to class as quickly as he could, opening the door panting as his teacher, Mr. Lancer, looked at him with disappointment.

"Mr. Fenton, you're late...again," Mr. Lancer scolded the boy. His voice held some exhaustion as he gestured for Danny to take his seat. The teacher would assign extra homework later.

Taking his seat beside his friends, Danny opened his notebook and got out a pencil. Sam and Tucker gave him a sympathetic look before going to their notes. The boy could hear snickering across the room where the local bully and quarterback, Dash Baxter, talked to his friends through notes, probably about the ghost boy.

Having ghost-obsessed parents made Danny an easy target for people like Dash, which lead to his low status in the teen hierarchy.

Danny groaned, just waiting for Lancer to start so he could try to keep his grades up.

But Mr. Lancer didn't start the class. Instead, he stood in the center and clasped his hands together.

"Now class, before I begin, today we're getting a foreign exchange student."

Students murmured as they wondered where the boy was from. The jocks smiled wickedly at each other at the thought of another target. Some of the girls pondered if he was hot. The class was excited at the prospect—the typical teenage daydreaming.

"Thanks to our esteemed Mayor Masters, Amity Park will partake in a foreign exchange program. Our student is here today and I want you all to give her a big welcome," Lancer added, changing the mood.

Now the jocks were wondering if the girl was hot. The girl gossiped among themselves. Danny, Tucker, and Sam remained neutral about things. They were fifteen years old and didn't care about such subjects.

Lancer gave a loud ahem as he brought the class's attention back to him. He walked over to the door as he opened the room to the new girl.

"Say hello to Amelie Lemieux."

In case you're curious about the premise, or more exactly why I'm writing this, I had been rewatching the 6teen episodes and saw the one with Amelie, A Crime of Fashion. For some reason, I can't remember, I wondered what it'd be like to have her meet Danny. So, I pondered and wrote it out to get it out of my head. And the rest is here. As far as this fic is concerned, it's an experimental fic for an odd ship.

Anyway, let me know why you think. This'll probably be short.
