"Maybe we ought to set up camp somewhere," Téa said as the sun went down.
"Don't tell me your afraid Téa, you got us protecting you." Tristan said.
"That really make me feel safe," I teased.
"And just who is protecting you guys?" she said.
"Er good point let's set up camp," Tristan said.
"Relax guys, there is nothing in these woods but crickets and squirrels." Joey said.
"What about all the other duellist genius," I said.
"There won't be that many left now," Yugi said.
'Yeah, I bet half the island have been taken out by now." Tristan added.
We walked into a small meadow.
"Looks like a good place to set up camp," I said, everyone nodded or muttered in agreement.
"Hey my meal ticket," Joey said, heading straight for a poisonous mushroom, Tristan quickly grabbed him.
"No," he grunted trying to keep Joey from eating the obvious poisonous mushroom.
"Wild mushrooms are poisonous Joey," Yugi said.
"So do us all a favour and let him eat it," Mai's voice drifted over, we all turned to see her standing by us all.
"Now what do you want Mai," Joey said as she got out a chocolate bar and bit into it. "That's it! You can duel me, you can insult me but you can't eat in front of me."
"You're that hungry are you? Ok then give me your star chips and I'll give you some food," she said, after a bit of drooling Joey shook his head like a dog.
"Forget it! Potato chips, I mean star chips are priceless."
"I was just kidding Joseph," she said. "I'll be more than happy to share if you can ask politely like a gentleman."
"Right so you can go and make fun of me for that too," Joey said.
"Look, by tomorrow I will have won entry to the castle so there's no point in me keeping an entire pack full of food."
"Sure would be nice not to duel tomorrow hungry we only have enough for two people."
"How do we know that this isn't another trick?" Joey said crossing his arms. "Give me one good reason to trust you."
She grinned. "Cause it's me or that poisonous mushroom," she said removing the sack from her back and throwing it onto the rug we had put in the small meadow.
"Look at this stuff candy bars – " Yugi gasped.
"Dibs on the candy bars," Joey said.
"Potato chips – "
"Dibs on the chips," Tristan said.
"Canned fruit, soda –"
"Dibs on the soda," Joey said, making me laugh.
"Sorry boys no dibs on anything yet, at least not until you complete your chores. I want Yugi to go look for some firewood."
"Sure," Yugi said.
"And you two boys can go fetch us some water."
"You bet," Tristan said giving the bucket to Joey and pushing him forward.
"I'll go get us that firewood," Yugi said getting up and out of the small clearing, leaving what looked like the only three girls on the island together.
"What's your name." Mai asked Téa gently. "Téa isn't it?"
"Mm," Téa mumbled.
"Well if you and Mana want to go and freshen up a bit there's a make shift shower just over there." She said.
"Thanks Mai," Téa said.
"Hanging out with those boys doesn't mean you have to smell like them." She said to us.
"You go first Mana I'll go in after you,"
I smiled in thanks and made my way inside, I went over the day in my head, I'd been kidnapped, what a fun thing I could tell people, I thought sarcastically. The boys came back as I exited fully clothed.
"Ok Téa your turn," I said smiling rubbing my long hair in the towel.
Mai and I guarded Téa as she showered, I knew the boys wouldn't go near it, I was here more for the fact anyone could sneak in. Not my boys.
"Look at you Joey only thing missing is a chief's hat and a cute apron." Mai said as Joey cooked.
"Jeez alright already," Joey said like he was embarrassed making me laugh.
"Now keep cooking," she said sternly.
"Wow your tough Mai," Téa said from behind the curtain.
"Us gals have to look out for each other especially with a bunch of boso's like them around. I don't see why either of you hang out with them." She said.
"There our friends," I said narrowing my eyes at her. "Yugi's my brother, he and Grandpa took me in and have never looked back unlike Yugi's mother. Sure the boys are idiots sometimes but there our idiots right Téa," I said.
"Right," she said before she screamed.
"What's wrong," Mai and I said, Mai quickly entered the tent. I barely heard Téa's response because Joey and Tristan were running towards the tent. Yugi trying to pull them by the bottom of their coats.
"You two can't go in there!" I said trying to block them, Mai came out from the other side and whacked them both to the floor.

"Idiots," I muttered fondly as Yugi looked very red and very sheepish.
"Téa is in the shower I highly doubt she wants you two going in there!" Mai yelled at their cowering figures.
Few seconds later, Téa reappeared clothed, luckily before Mai could have a go at the boys again the food was ready.
"Wow, sure smells good," Tristan said.
"Time to did in!" we chorused.
"Tasty," Tristan said.
"Thanks very much," Joey grinned.
"Please," I snorted. "I taught you how to do that." I laughed.
"Mm four stars," Téa said.
"Speaking of stars I've heard you've won a few Mai." Yugi said as Mai had a drink. "How many do you have? 8 or is it 9? However many sure sounds like you're in the zone."
"Don't think you can fool me with your nice guy routine, Yugi." Mai said. "It's only a matter of time – "
"Can we forget about the tournament for one night?" Téa said.
"Let's make fun of Joey instead that's always fun." Tristan said.
"Ok just as long as everyone is crystal clear about one little thing. Any duellist in my way is going down. Now if you'll excuse me I'm going to go for a walk." She said getting up and walking away with her hands on her hips.
"Man, she can really ruin a meal," Joey said.
"She gave us most of it," I pointed out. "I think she's confused cause she likes us and she's used to being alone."
"How'd you get that?" Téa asked me, I shrugged I just knew somehow.
As we ate waiting for Mai to return they told me about the two duels I had missed and I in return told them how my duels had gone. After insisting that they left some food for Mai we were all finished.
"Man oh man," Tristan said as Joey stretched and yawned at the same time.
"Don't you think we should check on Mai," Téa said.
"Good idea," Yugi said.
"She has been gone for a while," Tristan said.
"It's probably some trap," Joey said.
"Hmm," Téa said before she screamed, the boys ran forward, Joey and Tristan closest to the moving bush.
"Yep, I bet she's been waiting there the whole time. Come on out Mai," Joey said. There was some more rustling then Bakura appeared from the bush we all gasped.
"It's Bakura." Yugi said.
"See I told you!" Téa exclaimed. "I haven't just been seeing things."
"What you doing way out here Bakura?" Joey asked.
"Same as you guys I guess," Bakura said.
"You gave us quite a scare sneaking around in those bushes." Tristan said with his hands in his pockets.
"Yeah, for a minute there we thought we had something to worry about." Joey said, but I had a weird feeling that we still did, something wasn't right with Bakura. "Pretty silly huh."
"Joey you've been looking at that card for like an hour what's up?" Tristan said.
"Alright I'll tell you just don't laugh. Sometimes when I'm duelling I pretend it's me out there on the field swapping blows with whatever my opponent has on the field." He laughed nervously putting his hand on the back of his head in embarrassment. "Isn't that dumb."
"Well if you were which card would you be Joey?" Bakura asked.
"Er, this one the flames swordsman kicks everybody's butt." He said before imitating the cards holographic stance.
"Not my guy the cyber commander," Tristan said, showing us all the card.
"You boys and your cards," Téa said laughing fondly.
"Actually Téa, the Dark Magician Girl seems to call to me." I said, thinking about how there was something about the Dark Magician that made me feel safe too.
"I think everyone has a card they can relate too. You should see if you can pick one for yourself Téa." Yugi said.
"Ok er I pick this one Magician of Faith." She said.
"What you gotta be kidding me." Tristan said.
"More like the magician of freaks if you ask me," Joey said.
"Shut up!" Téa snapped, the two of them hugged each other fearfully.
"Tell me which one you identify with Yugi," Bakura asked.
"Oh that's easy Dark Magician hands down." Yugi said. "Which card do you care about most Bakura?" Yugi asked.
"This is my favourite," he said holding up the change of heart.
"Kind of weird looking picture don't you think," Joey said.
"If you want to see how it works we could have a duel right now. Not for star chips just for a little fun." Bakura said.
"Sure I'm down with that," Joey said. "After all the star chips stuff it'll be nice to have a duel with no strings attached."
"I agree, I think just a regular old duel sounds like a great idea." Yugi said.
"Why don't you guys all put your favourite card in Yugi's deck so it'll be like were all playing." Bakura said, I suddenly had a very bad feeling.
"That's a great idea," Joey said.
"Yeah," Tristan said.
"I should warn you with this all-star team of cards we'll be tough to beat." Yugi said shuffling his deck.
"True, but maybe I'll surprise you," Bakura said.
"This'll be fun," Téa said.
"Use that cut down tree stump as a field," Tristan said, both Yugi and Bakura sat at opposite sides the rest of us crouched besides Yugi.
"Alright I'm all shuffled," Yugi said.
"Now you're sure you don't mind playing alone," Téa said.
"Don't worry about a thing we'll go easy on you." Joey said.
"Before we get started there is something I would like to share with you all, especially with you Yugi." He said.
"What's that." Joey asked, I was beginning to get a really bad feeling like the time with Pegasus's video where he stole Grandpa's soul. Bakura began to hum.
"What's he doing," Téa asked, as he placed his hands in front of this chest suddenly a millennium item appeared around his neck.
Shit.
"This is getting freaky," Joey said.
"No it can't be a millennium item," Yugi gasped, we were being pulled us somewhere very cold and dark. Somewhere very familiar…
"Oh man I hate magic," Joey said.
"Why are you doing this Bakura," Yugi demanded, I noticed Bakura looked different his hair higher, I suddenly felt my soul being ripped from my body I gasped and I heard the others do the same before the darkness claimed me.
Please review guys make me feel loved xx
