Author's Note: So, this will probably be weird for a lot of people reading this, so let me clarify this now. This is (once again) a crossover for a game that (once again) doesn't actually have a section here. The game in question is "Lobotomy Corporation". This fic will contain some spoilers for the game, though not any of the story of the game but instead on information about the abnormalities. Also, this fic will not be including any of the Sefirot (or Sephirahs, however you want to spell it).
I highly recommend you either go play the game or watch some videos about it, if only to get more of a familiarity with the abnormalities. You don't need to, but I recommend it.
Finally, the abnormalities are going to be referred to as the Spirits for the entirety of this fic. This is because of the relationship between them and humanity in this fic.
In the beginning, there were two brothers, the god of light and the god of dark. They created, they destroyed, and they quarreled. In an effort to end their quarrel, they decided to collaborate on one final masterpiece, humanity.
Ultimately, humanity was deemed a failure in their eyes and was wiped clean off of the world before they departed. But something happened during the time of the original humans, during the age of magic.
The Spirits were born.
Humanity was gifted with great potential, potential for both creation and destruction, for order and for chaos. But many a time this potential was halted by another power.
Fear.
And from Fear rose the Spirits, at the time no more than boogeymen who fed off of wasted potential. Many tried to contain them, few succeeded for long.
Of course, no history books would tell you this information, for no relics of the age of magic speak of the Spirits, out of fear of angering them.
Centuries after the brothers left remnant, the Spirits began to starve, for there was no potential for them to feed from. In an ultimate act of desperation, they did something unprecedented.
They recreated humanity.
And as humanity had created fear, fear had created humanity. Of course, this humanity had less potential than the original, so the Spirits once again had to take drastic measures. Instead of being this age's boogeymen, feeding off of wasted potential, they had to help humanity create potential.
Thus, the first of the blessed were born.
The Blessed, marked at birth with the symbol of a Spirit, had powers beyond their mere semblances.
And so, with the wrath of nature, the power of aura, and the blessings of the Spirits, humanity thrived once more.
This is where our story begins.
Feel free to guess what abnormalities bless which characters. Here's a hint: some of them are really on the nose, others have matching personalities, and one I just really didn't want to write like the show, so they have a somewhat contradictory abnormality. Have fun!
