The next day Téa made her way over to the Kaiba house, Seto was with Grandpa and Mokuba was working on something to do with the company, so I was alone in the big house. Well bar the staff… which was super weird.

I was in the sitting room when the bell rang, I started to stand, but someone put there hand out to stop me, as someone else went to get it.

Weird.

As soon as I saw Téa a breath of relief and normality washed over me.

She was smiling, I stood up and we hugged.

"Wow," she said.

"Yeah," I said nervously, gesturing for her to sit.

"Would you like anything to eat or drink," Lacy (I think) said.

"Oh uh yeah, coffee please," Téa said nervously.

"And Miss Mana?"

"Uh, same,"

She went off, and the others began to leave to get on with whatever it was they did here.

"How you holding up?" she said to me.

"It's weird, I've gone from sharing a bedroom to…" I gestured around us, she hummed in agreement.

"You sounded stressed on the phone," she said quietly.

"Uh yeah, so I had another dream…" I said going pink as I recalled the way the Pharaoh's hands felt.

"Oh," she said watching my reaction carefully.

"We slept together – in Egypt –" I added flustered when I saw her face.

"You remember –"

"No! Well… I remember just before, but…" I flushed looking at my feet.

"But…" she pressed.

"In the memory… that wasn't our first time… I can't even pretend we were interrupted or –"

"I mean, I guess it makes sense. You guys were married." She said reasonably.

"Yeah, but I had never really thought about it, in this timeline, they physical stuff is a miniscule part of our relationship - for obvious reasons – It just hadn't occurred to me before – we have been pretty busy Téa –" I reminded her as she opened her mouth. She pulled her lips down and nodded.

"Ok fair, I will give you that one,"

Lacy came back in making us both jump, my face felt like it was on fire.

"Here are your coffee's," she said placing them down. "And just so you know Miss Mana, if we overhear anything, rest assured we will respect your privacy and not tell Mr Kaiba," she said gently, she patted my hand then walked back into the direction of the kitchen.

Téa and I looked at each other for a long moment, then burst out laughing.

"You know what you need?"

"Enlighten me," I grinned.

"A girl's day," she said. "We always have testosterone all around us. I mean, I love our boys but why don't we take advantage of the fact that Serenity is still in town and go somewhere."

"Let's do it,"

Seemingly out of nowhere, one of the people I didn't recognise yet came forward.

"The car is ready to take you both wherever you would like to go," he said gesturing for us to follow him.

"Oh, er ok," I said, I took a few more gulps of my drink, then the two of us followed him to one of Seto's fancy cars. Téa called her in the car so she knew they were coming. Wide eyed as she saw the black car outside her home, she joined us in the back.

"Uh, Domino shopping centre please," I said nervously.

"Of course, Miss Mana," the driver said and set off.

"I can't wait to get some new clothes," Téa said excitedly. "And you Mana, oh this is going to be so fun! Everything I own has some connection to all of the crazy we have been dealing with this year. Fresh wardrobe, fresh start." She grinned.

"I don't have a lot of money, but I can go for a meal or something," Serenity said nervously.

"Oh, er, Seto gave me a card we can get whatever we want on it,"

Téa grinned mischievously, as the car stopped.

"Let's go," she said grabbing both of our hands and running towards the centre of domino city.

Two hours later, bags on each arm the girls were laughing as they crossed the street.

"Today has been great," Téa said, smiling at the buildings around her. "Just what the Doctor ordered,"

"Totally," Serenity said. "I am so excited to wear my new clothes, it has been so long since I have been able to know if something goes together by myself."

"I am glad you had fun Serenity," I smiled.

"Ohh lets go grab some coffee before we head off… How do you call the limo back?" Téa said looking at the heavy bags in concern.

"He said he'd met us where he dropped us off, I dunno if he has even moved," I said embarrassed.

"Knowing Kaiba he probably has a security detail on you," Serenity said. "I mean especially since all of that stuff happened during the tournament, then the way he lost you the first time."

"He better not," I grumbled, looking around nervously.

"I mean would it be such a bad thing?" Téa said.

"Yep, I don't know if you two noticed, but I stopped a giant explosion from reaching our blimp."

"You know what fair enough," Serenity said smiling.

"I dunno," Téa said teasingly. "How many times have you been kidnapped this year?"
"Shut up Téa," I muttered the other two laughed, then as at the same time stopped and looked horrified.

"I can't believe I –"

"No, its ok. We can joke about it. Gods we need someway to cope with all this craziness," I said, resting my hand on her arm reassuringly.

"Tell me more about this dream," Téa said grinning.

"What dream?" Serenity asked.

"Téa!" I hissed. "Nothing Serenity," I said. "Let's go get coffee, before I lift you 30ft in the air," I said grabbing both of their arms and dragging them.

It was another hour before we met back up with the driver, who looked like he really hadn't moved. I felt a little guilty as we all pilled into the car.

"You girls have fun?" he asked. We nodded.

"Ok, I'll drop you both off at your homes, then Mr Kaiba would like to meet with you, Miss Mana," he said turning onto the road. I looked at the other two in surprise. I wondered what Seto had planned.

We drove for a while, I played with my phone nervously.

"Are we picking them up?" I asked.
"No Miss Mana, we are meeting them there," they said.

"Oh ok,"

We were definitely driving into the richer part of the city, I could see stores that I would never dare to look at before today. Finally, we made it to the entrance of one of the bigger sky scrapers.

Seto was waiting for us. He opened the door for me, and the driver left.

"Did you have fun today?"

"Yeah, uh. Thanks again for the card."

"Of course,"

"So… um… what are we doing here?"
"We are celebrating," he said gesturing for me to go inside. I felt extremely underdressed, as the men in nice suits opened the door for us both. I nodded in thanks, Seto didn't even acknowledge them.

"Celebrating…" I pressed.

He smiled, we both sat down, and he gestured for the staff.

"Can we have some non-alcoholic champagne," he said.

"Of course, sir," they said before rushing off.

"Seto?"

"We are celebrating, discovering each other, discovering that you are two years ahead academically, that your magic is growing rapidly."

"Where is Mokuba?"

"This is also an apology dinner for the way I treated you," he said. "I know I have apologised, and I know you can't be bought –"

"This is really sweet, thank you Seto,"

The glasses appeared, I murmured a thank you, as Seto picked his up.

"To family," he said.

"To family," I smiled, clinking the glasses together.

Sorry for the long wait, I think for the time being it is going to be a little chaotic with the update times. I hope you enjoyed it and please leave a review if you can

Thanks xx
