Hello everyone! This is a new chapter! Chapter 12! I hope everyone will enjoy this story! Without further ado, let's start!

Normal POV

In the world Aichi and Void came from, they reemerged from the portal as Void ordered someone to lead Aichi to a room for rest.

" How was your trip, Void-sama?" Reversed Takuto ask

" It went well. I've even obtained a new power with Aichi. I have a feeling another world will be in my hands soon. Although..." Void said as he tapped his finger on his crossed arms, " ... Stubborn fool."

His irises glowed as he saw a vision of Rimuru dispelling his aura over and over again.

" You could end your misery right now by accepting my power. Instead you're willing to keep up with this useless struggle." Void said

" Oh, shut up...! I'll fight this for as long as I want...! I told you... I have people I'll do anything to protect...! I won't let you turn me against them...!" Rimuru scoffed

" Fool. Fine then. I'll let you continue trying. Once I get bored, I'll just start putting more effort into that aura you're fighting against." Void said

Void huffed and left to look for Aichi as he found him peacefully sleeping on the bed in a room.

" Now that you've grown stronger, I have much more uses for you. First... That's right. Toshiki Kai. He seems pretty experienced with the songs you created. Let's have him make another one, shall we?" Void said

No reply could be heard as Void chuckled and stood up to look for Kai's location.

With Naoki and the others, they had barely managed to arrive at the Tatsunagi building as they looked up at it.

" Those guys are purposely putting Reversed fighters scattered around to delay us!" Naoki exclaimed

" But we've finally arrived! Let's go and rescue them!" Ren said

" Yeah!"

But before they could, a portal appeared beside them as 'Aichi' and 'Kai' stepped out of it, their capes flowing at their backs.

" My tracing led to here." 'Aichi' said

" Mine too."

" Wha?! Aichi and Kai?!" Misaki exclaimed

" They look different." Jillian said

" Hm... I see. So it is what we think it is. The Link Joker invasion." 'Aichi' said

" B-But how did you escape?!" Shingo exclaimed

" Escape? We didn't escape. We willingly came to this world." 'Kai' said

" 'This world'?" Leon ask

" Yeah. We have a score to settle with Void. I suppose that goes for all of you here." 'Aichi' said

" Huh...?!"

" I don't understand, but I guess they're on our side." Miwa said

" We're short on time. Let's have this settle quickly." 'Aichi' said

" Why the rush?" A voice ask

They gasped and looked up as Void flew down from the building to land in front of them.

" That presence... Void!" 'Kai' exclaimed

" Void had a human form?!" Asaka exclaimed

" Yeah, there's no mistaking that aura. You've trespassed the Great Jura Forest and attempted to gain control over Rimuru-sama. We'll be stopping your plans right here and now." 'Aichi' said

" Rimuru? Oh, that one. So that's his name. I'd almost mistaken him for another gender for a second when I saw him." Void said

" Well... Slimes are androgynous, after all... Plenty of people mistook him as a beautiful girl." 'Kai' murmured

" Don't be rude, Kai-kun! ... I guess he looked nice when Shuna-san and Shion-san dressed him up once..." 'Aichi' added

" See what I mean? He gets mistaken so easily. Sure, he's grown since the evolution but he still looks petite." 'Kai' shrugged

" ... Why are we even having this conversation?" 'Aichi' wondered

" Because he said it first." 'Kai' said, pointing at Void

" ... Ah! Void! You're going to release the aura you injected into Rimuru-sama!" 'Aichi' declared

" And why would I? He's plenty strong for my plans. I'm only holding back right now to see him continue suffering. So don't worry, his suffering will end once I fully concentrate on releasing all of my aura inside him to overwhelm his own aura." Void said

" What?!"

" If that's the case then you left us with no choice. You'll be eliminated here." 'Kai' said

" You don't understand, do you? You two are already in my trap." Void said

Red circles appeared below their feet as they gasped.

" I've sealed off your skills like I did with him. I know that world's system. You all rely on skills to attain resistance, nullifications and other kinds of things. The one that I gained is powerful enough to overwhelm everything." Void said

" ... Is that so? Then we just can't use skills, right? Doesn't matter." 'Aichi' said

" And what can you do when you're as powerless as your 'Rimuru-sama'?" Void taunted

" Do not insult Rimuru-sama." 'Aichi' warned

In an instant, a sword slash broke the walls surrounding the circle below 'Aichi's' feet as Void deflected it with his black mist.

" What?"

'Kai' had also suddenly appeared behind him as Void quickly turned to parry his blow, dodging 'Aichi's' sword as well before jumping back to the entrance.

" ... I was sure I sealed off all the skills that gives you two your power. Had I missed something?" Void wondered

" Yeah, something huge. Although I wouldn't like to say it out loud, you don't deserve to know." 'Aichi' said

" Woah..." Naoki exclaimed

" I don't know what just happened but it was cool." Miwa said

" Yeah..."

" So what else do you want to say? Insult our Lord again and we won't spare you." 'Aichi' warned

Void stayed silent before smirking as he stretched his hand out to his side to open a projection. On the projection was Rimuru, panting heavily on the bed as he fought off another bout of Void's aura.

" Rimuru-sama!"

" You dare?!" 'Kai' yelled

" I've said it before. I'm holding back to watch him suffer. So what will it be? I can maximize his suffering now and you can watch it without being able to do anything about it." Void said

" You bastard!"

" ... Wait, was he... Hey, was he exposed to a song?!" Ren ask

" He was!"

" We have a song that might be able to reverse the effect!" Ren exclaimed

" Oh, that won't help you anymore. Aichi's current power and music have exceeded the wavelength all of you made. It'll be the same, his suffering will continue as long as he resists." Void said

" ... But if there's even a slight chance..." 'Kai' said as he looked over to 'Aichi' and nodded to him, " We have to try!"

" Oh, I won't let you have the chance." Void said

With a wave of his hand, the aura in Rimuru burst out of his body as he squirmed and screamed.

" Rimuru-sama!"

'Aichi' dashed back to Ren and brought him through a portal, arriving at the room in an instant.

" Aichi! Rimuru-sama is...!" Shuna exclaimed

" Open a hole in the barrier! Hurry!" 'Aichi' shouted

Shuna quickly opened up a hole in the barrier as 'Aichi' pulled Ren into it and looked at him in desperation.

" Please, Ren-san!"

Ren nodded as he connected ear buds with his device and hurriedly plugged them into Rimuru's ears, turning on the music recently recorded. Slowly but surely, the aura around Rimuru calmed itself and slowly entered his body again as his Haki took over for a bit to dispell the rest around his body before his screams ceased and he opened his eyes.

" Rimuru-sama!"

" Papa!"

" A song...? Aichi...? This is..." Rimuru panted

" How do you feel?" 'Aichi' ask

" Gonna be fine... This song... It's suppressing the aura..." Rimuru replied

" What a relief!" Shinsha exclaimed

" Leave me with the others... Hurry back to Kai... and help him..." Rimuru said

" Yes, sir!"

Remembering the angle of the projection Void was watching Rimuru from, 'Aichi' looked up to glare before exiting the barrier with Ren.

" Thank you so much, Ren-san." 'Aichi' bowed

" Happy to help!" Ren said

" Rimuru-sama's condition has stabilized for now. We're doing whatever we can to stop Void." 'Aichi' said

" It baffles me as a demon that I cannot comprehend that mysterious aura. I would be happier if I could assist Rimuru-sama in any other way to relieve his pain." Diablo said

" It's okay, Diablo-san. Just continue what you're doing. Shinsha-chan being there puts him somewhat at ease. Rimuru-sama will feel more assured if we stayed safe as well." 'Aichi' said

" Right..."

" Rimuru... My sworn friend..." Veldora exclaimed, trying to get answers

" I'm sorry, Veldora-sama. Please just bear with this a little while longer... And... I'm going to take back what Rimuru-sama said. If it gets any worse, have Milim-sama ready to help." 'Aichi' said

He went back into the portal with Ren as he stepped out to narrow and glare his eyes at Void.

" Bummer. I was so close." Void shrugged

" Don't expect any forgiveness anymore, Void. How dare you do that...!" 'Aichi' exclaimed

" Looks like he's doing better for now." 'Kai' said, eyeing the projection

" Let's keep it that way." 'Aichi' said

" Let's just see about that. Ever wondered how I summoned him to me? Now that I'm connected to him with my aura, it'll be easier to use my skill to summon him here." Void said

" We're not allowing it!" 'Kai' exclaimed

He dashed forward to deliver multiple slashes of his sword, being able to quickly maneuver around Void to continue clashing swords with him.

" This one's fast..." Void thought

" We have to hurry and reverse the effects of the song..." 'Aichi' said before turning back to the others, " What do you guys need to be able to remove Void's aura?!"

" Our Aichi's songs! Once we get a song that can beat the wavelength that he used to Reverse others, we can beat the Reverse!" Miwa shouted

" Then he's inside... But he's controlled so he won't listen to my words..." 'Aichi' muttered

Suddenly, the sound of a violin could be heard as they looked up at the rooftop for the source.

" Oh, it's complete. That was fast." Void said

" What?"

" Song... The aura..." 'Aichi' gasped before looking over to 'Kai', " Kai-kun! Defense formation!"

'Kai' backed away from Void as 'Aichi' put up a barrier around everyone, blocking soundwaves from nearing them.

" Soundproof barrier, for now. I don't believe this..." 'Aichi' exclaimed

" What is it?" Naoki ask

" It's another song, they were planning this while Void delayed us. I can't believe it's been completed this quickly." 'Aichi' exclaimed

" But how?!"

" I don't want to believe this, but your world's Aichi has already mastered an Ultimate Skill due to Void's control. His songs as they are now are way stronger than we can imagine. It'll take some time for us to regain ours since Void sealed them off." 'Aichi' said

" Long story short, we're in a sort of disadvantage as long as he continues singing and remain in Void's control." 'Kai' said

" Huh?! You're kidding!" Miwa exclaimed

" But the fate of the world depends on this!" Sharlene exclaimed

" ... But honestly... What's a disadvantage to us by now?" 'Aichi' grinned

" Hmph, never been a problem." 'Kai' smirked

They nodded to each other and 'Kai' flew upwards to the rooftop with the help of a cloud while 'Aichi' attacked Void with his sword.

" What?!"

" Surprised? I told you, you know nothing much about us. For insulting Rimuru-sama and putting him in danger, seems like the highest punishment shall be delivered." 'Aichi' said

" That Toshiki Kai that accompanied him... He must be aiming for..." Void thought

Void tried to revert to black mist to chase after 'Kai' but was stopped by 'Aichi' again, this time with another sword with flowers as its attack to wrap him up.

" You're not getting away." 'Aichi' smiled

" Tch! How are you unaffected?!" Void exclaimed

" It's a simple process. All I have to do is nullify the effects of the wavelength that'll affect my brain and body. These types of attacks have been ineffective against us for awhile." 'Aichi' explained

Void gritted his teeth as he continued fighting 'Aichi'. 'Kai' was now on the rooftop as he landed, finding the source of the violin's music immediately.

" This is going to be weird..." 'Kai' said as he looked at his lookalike, " I'm going to have you stop that."

Kai just continued playing the violin as 'Kai' looked around for the source of the singing as well.

" Downstairs? He's a distraction...? ... No... This is... A skill? Impossible, he didn't step into that world, how did he gain one?" 'Kai' pondered

Suddenly, the violin in Kai's hand started producing a dark power as Kai continued playing the music.

" I see... It's in the violin. Void's control aside, a skill imbedded in an instrument... Takes a lot of creativity to think of it." 'Kai' said

Immediately, he went behind Kai to knock him unconscious, prying the violin out of his hands. He had to quickly slash the violin apart due to the ominous aura that continued to leak out of it.

" That's done. Just need to rescue that one." 'Kai' said

He tapped the floor and slipped through it, finding Aichi easily in the studio, recording a new song for Link Joker. A few seconds later, 'Kai' appeared back on the ground floor with both the unconscious Aichi and Kai in his arms.

" Got them." 'Kai' said

" Great."

" What?!"

" We have to leave, Aichi." 'Kai' said

" Yeah."

" I won't let that Rimuru off if you even try. I'll even summon him here." Void warned

" Try it then. We'll stop you." 'Aichi' said

" Aichi!"

'Aichi' stepped back and withdrew his weapons as a portal opened up for them to escape into. As they arrived at the city, 'Kai' brought the others to guest houses while 'Aichi' ran off to check on Rimuru.

" Rimuru-sama!"

" Aichi! How is it?" Shuna ask

" We're waiting for the one that can solve this to wake up. We rescued them already but I need to see how's Rimuru-sama doing." 'Aichi' said

" He seems to be doing better." Benimaru said

" I see."

'Aichi' narrowed his eyes as he concentrated to find the signs of Void's skill and took out a black sword, forming a barrier around Rimuru's bed.

" This barrier will stop any potential teleportations across space. Void can still summon him with his skill now that he's defenseless. This should be enough until he can be fully rid of the skill sealing his powers and the ominous aura." 'Aichi' said

" I don't like this. That entity is taking lightly on us. How dare it even try to take control of our Rimuru-sama." Diablo said

" I agree, but Kai-kun and I had some of our skills sealed off too. It's definitely an Ultimate Skill and with those sealing properties... Our skills won't be back for awhile." 'Aichi' said

" No way! Will the two of you be safe too?!" Shuna exclaimed

" It's alright. We still have the power that we originally had before we gained the skills, after all. But that's why I'm more worried about Rimuru-sama." 'Aichi' said

" ... Please take a rest first. You two have already done everything you can, so until we can save Rimuru-sama, recuperate your strength." Shuna said

" But..."

" Leave it to us! We'll call if we need your help!" Shion assured

" Aichi... Just go... You can't change their minds..." Rimuru added

" I... Okay then. I'll attend to our guests. Have someone call us if anything else happens." 'Aichi' said

" Okay!"

'Aichi' made his exit afterwards, discussing about the handover of some of Rimuru's documents with Shion before walking out of the building to look for the guest houses.

" Kai-kun?"

" Oh, how is it, Aichi?" 'Kai' ask

" Same as always. They want us to take a break for now." 'Aichi' said

" I see. Those two are still asleep. But I think I knocked out whatever was controlling them since I didn't detect any sort of control over them anymore." 'Kai' said

" Thankfully it wasn't Reverse. If it was, beating them would prove to be difficult with the difference in our decks." 'Aichi' sighed

" Yeah. I wouldn't want to cause a time space rift with that." 'Kai' said

'Aichi' nodded in agreement as 'Kai' led him to the room he allowed the others to occupy for now as they opened it, surprised at the guest inside.

" Oh?"

" There you guys are. I knew something was suspicious when I didn't sense any magicules from those two on the bed. Twins? Or..." The lady in armor ask

" Otherworlders. They were in a small pinch and we decided to help." 'Aichi' replied

" I see." The lady said as she let a child in her arms down, " Here you go."

The child ran towards 'Aichi' immediately as he bent down to hug him while 'Kai' nodded politely.

" Thanks, Hinata. Though I was sure we left him to Haruna." 'Kai' said

" I was passing by and thought I could take him to Rimuru. Heard he was busy though." Hinata said

" ... Yeah, he is. It's a small matter, but he'll be back soon. Are you going to be staying here until then?" 'Aichi' ask

" Yeah... Did something happen?" Hinata ask

" Why do you ask?" 'Kai' ask

" I could be imagining it, but... Never mind." Hinata shrugged

" Mama! I ate meat skewers with Onee-chan!" The child said

" Is that so? It must've been delicious." 'Aichi' said

" Yeah!"

'Kai' started introducing Hinata to Ren and the others in the meantime as her eyes continued to narrow and held a suspicious glint.

" Well, I've already done what I want to here. I guess I should take my leave soon." Hinata said

" Right, thank you."

" Find me in my room if you need me." Hinata said, taking glances at the two before leaving

" As expected, she's not falling for our lie." 'Kai' sighed

" Huh? Seriously?" Naoki ask

" Yeah. Nothing gets past her so easily." 'Kai' said

" Anyway, make yourselves comfortable here. If there's not enough space, we still have available guest rooms in this place." 'Aichi' said, carrying the child

They got ready to leave the door just as the child started talking again.

" Mama, I want sweet food!" The child said

" Now how do you know what 'sweet' is? I was sure we didn't feed you that yet. But not now, it'll be bad for your teeth. Maybe next time. Once you're older, you can try the mochi Geld-san and the others make." 'Aichi' said

" Yay!"

" Huh, you can sound quite convincing." 'Kai' said

" Papa! I want cook something!" The child said

" No, you're still small. Give it a few months. But you can still watch me while I cook." 'Kai' said

" Aw!"

They closed the door afterwards as the others tried to make themselves comfortable while Ren thought about something.

" That kid just called them 'Mama' and 'Papa', right?" Ren hummed

" ... Some things are better off a mystery for now, especially in this period of time." Misaki said

" Yeah..."

" Aw!"
