Our heroes have finally arrived in Motostoke and now Ash can start registering for the Galar-League.
"Here we are Motostoke," Ash said.
"Pika," Pikachu squeaked.
"And now you can sign up for the Galar-League," Roan said.
"You can do that at the Motostoke Stadium," Chloe said.
"I see the stadium over there," Roan said.
"Well then, I only have one thing to say," Ash said.
"What's that?" Asked Roan.
"Whoever gets to the Stadium first wins" Ash said, as he started to run towards the station.
Roan and Chloe ran after Ash, the three friends ran through Motostoke towards the Stadium. Ash and Pikachu arrived at the Stadium first, followed by Chloe and Roan arrived last. Ash, Roan and Chloe entered the Stadium and saw many trainers standing in the in the hall.
"Wow all these trainers so want to enter the league," Ash said.
"There must be over 100 of them," Roan said.
"Let's see, where do I register?" Ash asked.
"I think at the desk over there," Chloe said, as she pointed to something that looked like a registration desk
"Come on, Pikachu," Ash said.
"Pika, pika," Pikachu squeaked.
Ash walked up to the registration desk. "Hello my name is Ash Ketchum and I would like to register for the Galar-League," Ash said.
"That can be arranged, may I please have your Rotom-Phone," asked the lady.
"Of course," Ash said.
Ash grabbed his Rotom-Phone and handed it to the woman, the woman linked his Rotom-phone to the computer and typed something in.
"You are now successfully registered," the lady said, handing Ash back his Rotom-Phone.
"Thank you," Ash said.
"And you are right on time for registering," said the lady.
"Was there a deadline then?" Ash asked.
"Yes, the deadline is tomorrow, In 2 days is the big opening ceremony and then all challengers can officially challenge the Gyms," the lady explained.
"In two days already?" Ash asked.
"Now you have to choose your uniform number," said the lady.
"Uniform number?" Ash asked.
"Yes, Ash here in the Galar Region when you do a Gym Challenge the challengers wear a uniform," Chloe explained.
"Here's a list of numbers that are all still available, the lady said, handing Ash a list with different numbers on it.
Ash looked at the list of numbers for his uniform with Pikachu.
"I choose number 25 for my uniform," Ash said.
"Number 25 for Ash Ketchum, is registered, You can pick up your uniform the day of the opening ceremony," the lady said.
"Thank you," Ash said.
"Until then, you and your friends can stay the Budew Drop Inn, it is the hotel next to the stadium," the lady said.
"Thank you," Ash said.
"Oh and this is what I had to give you," the lady said, giving as a big golden ring.
"And ring?" Ash asked.
"This is a Badge-Ring, all 8 badges form a kind of puzzle, collect all 8 badges and ring is full," the lady explained.
"Oh, that's how it works," Ash said.
"We have some time left before dinnertime, so how about we take a tour of the city," Chloe suggested.
"Good idea," Roan said.
Ash, Roan and Chloe were walking towards the stadium exit. Past them came a boy with purple hair and bright yellow eyes. He was wearing a blue fur-rimmed jacket, with a black T-shirt and pants walked up and next to the boy was a Wooloo.
Roan stopped walking and looked at the boy. "Hop is that you?" Roan asked.
The boy turned and looked at Roan. "Roan!" Hop said in a cheery tone.
"How good to see you here," Roan said.
"You, too," Hop said.
"Looks like you two know each other," Chloe said.
"Chloe and Ash, this is an old friend my Hop," Roan said.
"Hello," Chloe said, giving Hop a little wave.
"Nice to meet you," Ash said.
"And hop these are my new friends Ash and Chloe," Roan said.
"Hi, guys," Hop said.
"Wooloo," bleated Wooloo.
"That is a Wooloo," Chloe said.
Ash grabbed his Rotom-Phone and opened his Pokédex app. "Let's see what the Dex says about Wooloo," Ash said.
Wooloo, the sheep Pokémon. A Normal type. Wooloo's tight curls of fur provide a cushioning effect. It can fall off a high cliff without getting hurt.
"But what are you doing here?" Roan asked.
"I'm here to enter the Galar-League, of course," Hop answered.
"You're gonna enter the Galar-League too?" Roan asked.
"And I plan on winning it," Hop said. "Are you in it, too, Roan? Is that why you're here?"
"No, I'm not competing, but Ash is competing," Roan said.
"Okay, then maybe we'll be rivals," Hop said.
"Maybe we will," Ash said.
"I'll let you know, though, that I'm seriously planning on becoming the Champion of Galar and beating my brother," Hop said.
"Your brother is Leon, as in Leon the Champion of Galar?" Chloe asked.
"Yeah, he's my big brother," Hop said.
"That's how Hop and I met through our brothers," Roan said.
"But I have to register now or I won't even be able to compete," Hop said.
"Good luck, Hop," Roan said.
"Maybe I'll see you later," Hop said.
Hop walked with Wooloo to the counter and Ash, Roan and Chloe left the stadium. But they were not the only ones who had arrived in Motostoke, Team Rocket was there too, they were sitting on one of the roofs of the buildings and spying on Ash, Roan and Chloe.
"What are the twerps doing here in Motostoke?" Jessie asked.
"The original twerp must be here to sign up for the Galar-League," Meowth guessed.
"Of course, he's so predictable," Jessie said.
"The openings ceremony is in two days," James said.
"How do you know?" Jessie asked.
"It says so right here on this flyer," James said, showing to flyer to Jessie and Meowth.
"All participants will be provided a hotel room at the Hotel de Budew Drop Inn," Meowth read of the flyer.
"Oh a real hotel, with beds and soft blankets," Jessie said.
"I too would like to sleep in a real bed again and not in a balloon basket with an old sleeping bag," James said.
"Enough now, we all want to sleep in a hotel, but we have something else to focus on," Meowth said.
"Yeah, let's see what the twerps are up to," James said.
Team Rocket grabbed their enrichers again and looked around the city to see if they saw Ash, Roan and Chloe.
Ash, Roan and Chloe were walking somewhere through the town of Motostoke and saw a group of girls standing somewhere, those girls were all cheering and giggling
"Come on ladies, slow down, you all get a chance to take a picture with me," a voice said.
"But I know that voice," Roan said.
Out of the group of girls stepped Raihan. "Okay and now a group photo," Raihan said.
Raihan's Rotom-phone floated in the air and took a picture of him and the group of girls.
"I have to go now ladies, but you can come to the opening ceremony in two day to see me again," Raihan said.
The group of girls walked away giggling, Raihan walked towards Motostoke Stadium
"I knew it, it's Raihan," Roan said.
"Let's say hello to him," Ash suggested.
Roan and the rest walked toward Raihan. "Raihan!" Roan said.
"Where do you think you're going?" A man asked stepping in front of Roan and the rest.
"I just wanted to say hello to Raihan," Roan answered.
"That won't do, Raihan is much too busy right now to talk to his fans," the man said.
"I'm not just anybody, I'm his little brother," Roan said.
"Yeah, right, I've heard that excuse plenty of times," said the man.
"It's the truth," Roan said.
"Look at him, he looks a lot like Raihan," Chloe said.
"What's going on here?" Raihan asked as he came walking up to Roan and the rest.
"Raihan," Roan said.
"Nothing special Master Raihan, just a group of children who wanted to bother you, but they have no business at being here," the man said.
"Raihan tell him who I'm," Roan said.
"And get away now, Master Raihan has no time for you," the man said.
"It's all right, don't worry, it's my little brother," Raihan said.
"Little brother? This kid is your little brother?" The man asked.
"Told you so," Roan said.
"And I always have time for him," Raihan said.
"What about his friends?" Asked the man.
"I have time for them too," Raihan said.
"Hey Raihan," Roan said.
"Hey Roan," Raihan said.
"My apologies, I will leave you alone with your brother, Once again my apologies Master Raihan, Master Raihan's brother, the man said as he walked away.
"It is so good to see you again big bro," Roan said.
"I'm also very happy to see you again little bro," Raihan said.
"Hey Raihan," Ash said.
"Pika, Pika," Pikachu squeaked.
"Ash, Pikachu it's also good to see you again," Raihan said.
"Raihan, I introduce you to Chloe a new friend and traveling companion of ours," Roan said.
"It's nice to meet you Chloe," Raihan said
"It's quite an honor to meet a strong Gym Leader like you," Chloe said, shaking Raihan's hand.
"Yamp, Yamper," barked Yamper.
"Oh yes, sorry Yamper, Raihan this is Yamper Chloe's partner," Roan said.
"How nice to meet you, Yamper," Raihan said, as he petted Yamper over his head.
"Yamper," Yamper barked.
"How's your journey going, Roan?" Raihan asked.
"It's going super well," Roan said.
"And Scorbunny?" Raihan asked.
Roan grabbed Scorbunny's Pokémon ball from his pocket. "Look for yourself, come out Scorbunny," Roan said summing his Scorbuny.
"Scor, Scor," squeaked Scorbunny.
"Also nice to see you again Scorbunny," Raihan said.
"Bunny, Scorbunny," squeaked Scorbunny as he happily jumped up and down.
"And that's not all, check this out," Roan said, trowing Toxel's Pokéball.
"Toxel," Toxel hissed.
"I caught my first Pokémon," Roan said.
"Congratulations little bro," Raihan said.
"Toxel, I want you to meet my big brother Raihan," Roan said.
"Tox," Toxel hissed.
"Nice to meet you Toxel," Raihan said.
"Toxel," hissed Toxel
"Caught your first Pokémon, see now you are slowly on your way to becoming a real trainer," Raihan said.
"Thanks Raihan, Oh and you never guessed we just ran into," Roan said.
"Leon," guessed Raihan.
"Close, his little brother, we ran into Hop," Roan said.
"Ah I haven't seen him in a long time," Raihan said. "How is he doing?"
"Good, he's also going to compete in the Galar-League," Roan said.
"I should have expected it's his dream to beat his brother and take over as Champion," Raihan said.
"I know, when we were kids he didn't talk about anything else but that," Roan said.
"I have to go now," Raihan said.
"Will we see you again at the openings ceremony?" Roan asked.
"I know something better," Raihan said.
"What is it?" Roan asked.
"I invite you to join me for dinner tonight at the restaurant at the Budew Drop Inn," Raihan suggested.
"Yes, I'd love to," Chloe said.
"Sounds great," Ash said.
"Thanks for the invitation big bro," Roan said.
"No problem little bro," Raihan said.
Roan and Raihan gave each other a high five and then Raihan walked towards the stadium.
"How about we headed to the hotel, then we can rest a bit before going out for dinner," Roan suggested.
"Good idea," Chloe said.
"First one who is at the hotel get first pick on beds," Ash said.
Ash, Roan and Chloe started running to the hotel, Chloe arrived first, then Ash and Roan arrived last again, the three of them entered the hotel. Ash, Roan and Chloe looked around and admired the hotel. Ash and the rest walked up to the hotel reception and checked in, then walked through to their hotel room. The hotel room of Ash, Roan and Chloe was large and had four large beds.
Chloe walked up to a bed and lay down on it. "Finally a real bed again, Chloe said.
"Oh yes, I missed that too, sleeping on a mattress," Roan said.
"And the blankets and pillows are so nice and comfy," Chloe said.
"Uh guys you know what, we're not gonna stay here forever you know," it just for a couple of nights, Ash said.
"I know, Chloe said.
"Let's get some rest, because later we're going to have dinner with Raihan," Roan said.
In the meantime, Team Rocket was right outside of the hotel, looking into the restaurant with their binoculars.
"Oh look at all that delicious looking food in there," said Jessie.
"I would love to eat there too, no matter what, as long as I can get some of that food," James said.
"So much food and nothing for us," Meowth complained.
"We can't just let that happen, We're Team Rocket, if anyone deserves such a delicious meal, it's us," Jessie said.
"Yes!" Cheered Meowth and James in unison.
"So we're not gonna sit here like pathetic losers, we're gonna do something," Jessie said.
"What do you wanna do, Jess?" James asked.
"We are going to arrange ourselves some of those delicious meals," Jessie said.
A few moments later Ash, Roan and Chloe were on their way to the restaurant, they ran into Hop right by the restaurant.
"Hello Hop," Roan said.
"Hey guys," Hop said.
"Are you going to dine at the restaurant too?" Chloe asked.
"No, unfortunately that's too expensive, but because of my participation in the League, I now have free room service," Hop said.
"So you're eating all by yourself?" Chloe asked.
"Actually, yes," Hop simply said.
"Why don't you eat with us at the restaurant?" Roan suggested.
"You guys can afford eat at this restaurant? How rich are you guys?" Hop asked.
'Raihan invited us to eat with him," Roan explained.
"But he invited you, I can't just join you like that," Hop said.
Roan saw that Roan was coming. "Here comes Raihan so we ask him," Roan said.
"Hey little bro," Raihan said.
"Hey big bro," Roan said.
"Hi Raihan," Hop said, waving at Raihan.
"Hey Hop, long time no see," Raihan said. "Are you doing okay?"
"Yeah, I'm doing okay, I recently started my journey and signed up for the League today," Hop said.
"Good to hear," Raihan said.
"Raihan would you mind if Hop joins us for dinner?" Roan asked.
"No, I don't mind at all," Raihan said.
"Thank you Raihan," Hop said.
"Come on, let's go inside," Raihan said.
Ash, Roan, Chloe, Hop and Raihan entered the restaurant and sat down at a large table. Ash took Pikachu on his lap and looked at the menu together.
"All the food here looks so delicious," Ash said.
"Pika," Pikachu squeaked as he agreed with Ash.
"You can choose what you like, I'm buying," Raihan said.
"That's very kind of you Raihan," Chloe said.
"So Hop how's your journey going so far?" Raihan asked.
"It is still very exciting and there is still a lot for me to learn," Hop said.
"All trainers have that when they start their first journey," Ash said.
"Have you traveled much Ash?" Hop asked.
"Oh yes, I've been to a lot of places," Ash said.
"Hey but Roan, I thought you wanted to take over the Gym now that Raihan got that offer from Leon," Hop said.
"That was my plan initially, but I learned a hard way that I'm not ready for that yet," Roan said.
"And you Chloe, what's your story?" Hop asked.
"Actually at first I didn't think I was ready to travel and become a real trainer, but after Ash and Roan saved me from Pokémon attacking me, I had decided it was time for my journey," Chloe said.
"One of the waiters approached. Master Raihan would you and your guests like to order something already?" The water asked.
"Do you know what you want to eat?" Raihan asked to the others.
"No idea," Ash said.
"It's hard to choose," Chloe said.
"Indeed, everything on the menu sounds delicious," Roan said.
"Agreed," Hop said.
"I'll order for all of us, make it the 6 times the special and make one big plate into two small plates, those are for the Pokémon, Raihan said.
"Of course it's taken care of, Master Raihan, said the waiter.
The waiter walked away and went towards the kitchen with the order, Chloe looked around her and saw almost all the girls who were in the restaurant staring at Raihan with faces in love.
"You do get a lot of admiration Raihan, Chloe stated.
"He's a Gym Leader, a strong trainer, it's only natural to be admired, Ash said.
"I don't think Chloe meant it that way, Roan said.
In what way did she mean it? Ash asked.
Roan and Chloe almost fell off their chairs at Ash's naiveté. Suddenly there was an explosion, the kitchen doors opened, with the kitchen staff coming out. Black smoke also came out of the kitchen, filling almost the entire restaurant. Ash, Roan, Chloe, Hop and Raihan got up and walked toward the kitchen.
"What happened?" Raihan asked.
"We got robbed, a bunch of thieves stole all the food," one of the cooks said.
Many guests in the restaurant started to get worried, Ash and the rest walked into the kitchen and saw a big hole in the wall.
"The thieves must have blown up the wall, that explains the explosion," Roan stated.
"Why would they go to so much trouble?" Hop asked.
Chloe noticed that a trail of food had been left behind. "The thieves made a trail, probably without realizing it," Chloe said.
"Let's follow it and see if it leads to the thieves," Roan said.
"I have a pretty good idea who our thieves might be. Do you, Pikachu?" Ash asked.
"Pika, pika," Pikachu squeaked.
"Let's go after the thieves," Ash said.
Ash, Roan, Chloe, Hop and Raihan began to follow the trail of food, finally they arrived at an old abandoned looking department store and looked in through a window and saw Team Rocket and their Pokémon eating from the food.
"Team Rocket," Ash said.
"I should have known they were behind this," Chloe said.
"Those clowns again," Raihan said.
"Who are they?" Hop asked.
"That's Team Rocket and bunch of bad guys talking to them the Meowth always trying to steal our Pokémon," Roan explained.
"Did you just say talk the Meowth?" Hop asked.
"Yeah, you heard me right," Roan said.
"Look at them sitting and stuffing themselves with all that food," Ash said.
"We're not gonna let them get away with this," Chloe said.
"What are we gonna do?" Roan asked.
"Time for some action," Ash said.
Unsuspecting, Team Rocket was eating the stolen food. Suddenly there was a bang and when Team Rocket looked back they saw Ash and his friends standing there.
"The twerps," Team Rocket said in unison.
"You got that right, Team Rocket," Ash said.
"We're here to get back the food you stole," Roan said.
"Prepare for trouble!" Jessie said.
"And make it double!" James said.
"To protect the world from devastation!" Jessie said.
"To unite all people within our nation!" James said.
"To denounce the evils of truth and love!" Jessie said.
"To extend our reach to the stars above!" James said.
"Jessie!" Jessie said.
"And James!" James said.
"Team Rocket blasts off at the speed of light!" Jessie said.
"Surrender now or prepare for a fight!" James said.
"Meowth! That's right!" Meowth said.
"Wobbuffet!" Cried Wobbuffet.
"Cramo," quaked Cramorant.
"Scorbunny, get ready," Roan began, grabbing Scorbunny's Pokéball, but suddenly Raihan stepped in front of him
"No, Roan, leave them to me," Raihan said.
"We're not afraid of you, you big twerp, Wobbuffet now," Jessie said.
"Wobbuffet," cried Wobbuffet
"Cramorant, go on and battle," James said.
"Cramorant," quaked Cramorant as he bit in James' ear.
"Don't attack me, attack the twerps," James said.
Raihan grabbed a Pokéball from his pocket and looked at Team Rocket with an angry and determined look. "Okay Duraludon, let's show those thieves what you got," Raihan said, as he summoned Duraludon.
"Duraludon," roared Duraludon
Ash grabbed his Rotom-Phone from his pocket. "What kind of Pokémon is that?" Ash asked.
Duraludon, the Alloy Pokémon. A Steel and Dragon type. Duraludon sports a metallic body with a beautiful luster of polished, shining metal.
"Team Rocket really doesn't stand a chance now," Roan said.
"How do you know?" Chloe asked.
"Duraludon is my brother's strongest Pokémon, no way it's going to lose to Team Rocket's Pokémon," Roan said.
"That Pokémon looks very strong, I don't know if we stand a chance," James said.
"Don't be a wimp and let your Pokémon attack," Jessie said.
"Right, Cramorant use PECK, commanded James
"Cramorant, quaked Cramorant as he ran towards Duraludon.
"Use IRON DEFENSE, commanded Raihan
Duraludon nodded his head, "Duraludon," roared Duraludon.
Cramorant attacked Duraludon but it didn't have much effect because Duraludon had used Iron Defense.
"Now it's our turn to attack, Duraludon DRAGON PUL ...," Raihan began.
"Soy sauce attack!" Meowth yelled.
Meowth jumped into the air and sprayed soy sauce into Duraludon's eyes.
"Hey that is cheating," Chloe said.
"We're the bad guys, we always cheat," Meowth said.
"Duraludon can't see a thing," Hop said.
"You're gonna pay for this, Team Rocket. Pikachu, get ready," Ash said.
"Pika," Pikachu squeaked.
"No, Ash, leave this to me," Roan said.
"Roan," Raihan said with a surprising tone in his voice
"They messed with someone from my family and they will regret it, Go Scorbunny and go Toxel," Roan said summing both Scorbunny and Toxel
"Scorbunny," Scorbunny squeaked.
"Toxel," Toxel hissed.
"Scorbunny use your QUICK ATTACK on Cramorant," Roan commanded.
"Scor," Scorbunny squeaked, as he ran towards James' Cramorant.
"Cramorant use your SCLAD and blow that twerp's Pokémon over," James commanded.
"Jump up Scorbunny," Roan commanded.
"Bunny," squeaked Scorbunny as he jumped up.
"What?" Asked Team Rocket, being thrown off by Roan's unexpected command.
"EMBER on Wobbuffet," Roan commanded.
"Scorbunny," squeaked Scorbunny as he used it's Ember attack on Wobbuffet.
"Wobbu," cried Wobbuffet, as he was knocked out.
"Oh no Wobbuffet," Jessie said.
"Toxel use NUZZLE against Cramorant," Roan commanded.
"Toxel," hissed Toxel releasing his Nuzzle on Cramorant.
"Cramorant," cried Cramorant as he was being electrocuted and knocked out.
"No, Cramorant," James said.
"Well done little bro," Raihan said.
"Ash it's your turn now," Roan said.
"Okay Pikachu THUNDERBOLT!" Commanded Ash.
"Pikachu!" Cried Pikachu releasing a Thunderbolt that was heading straight to Team Rocket.
Pikachu hit Team Rocket with his Thunderbolt and they and their knocked out Pokémon were shot the sky.
"No fair we didn't even get to enjoy our meal," Jessie said.
"All that delicious food will now be lost," James said
"Why don't we ever get something that we deserve?" Meowth said.
"We're blasting off again," screamed the Team Rocket trio.
Team Rocket shot further into the air, until only a twinkle could be seen. Raihan had removed the soy sauce from Duraludon's eyes.
"Everything is going to be okay my friend," Raihan said.
"Duraludon," cried Duraludon.
"Glad that Duraludon can see again," said Roan.
"You did good little bro," Raihan said.
"I really did?" Roan asked.
"Yes, I'm very impressed," Raihan said.
"Thank you Raihan," Roan said as he gave his big brother a hug.
Ash and the rest returned the food to the restaurant and received a free dinner as a thank you. The next morning Ash, Roan and Chloe were up early to explore Motostoke again, but before they went to do that Hop came running.
"Hi Hop," Roan said.
"Is everything okay?" Chloe asked.
"Yes, I'm here to ask you something," Hop said.
"What do you want to ask Hop?" Roan asked.
"I want to challenge you and Ash to a battle, so are you in for it?" Hop asked.
So Roan's old friend Hop is now a new friend to Ash and Chloe. Hop has just challenged Ash and Roan to a fight, will Ash and Roan accept?
