It was the night of the full moon, so back in the feudal era, Inuyasha was human. Knowing how upset he was about not being able to protect her, Kagome decided they should all take a break from jewel shard hunting. Inuyasha, being the grumpy person he is, immediately protested. " What! Take a break! But we just got started!"
Kagome's expression was thunderous, " We-are-taking-a-break!" she practically screamed through her teeth.
Inuyasha gave her his answer, "No" he said.
Their other companions, Sango, Miroku, Shippo, and Kirara quickly covered their ears as Kagome screamed non-stop for about 5 minutes on the importance of rest, relaxation, and how he was human that day and night so he wouldn't be able to protect her. She then ranted about how she was going to make him feel better and so she planned a surprise and all she got was inconsideration from him. She ended her speech by saying, " Oh well you will just have to live with it for 1 day, got it?"
Inuyasha nodded dumbly , knowing if he didn't he would get one of her favorite "SIT"s. But he was secretly flattered that she had planned a surprise for him. He was even more curious about what it would be.
Kagome took a deep breath and then turned round to face the rest of the group and asked, "What are you going to do on our break?"
Sango was the first to answer, " Me and Kirara will go back to the slayers village and try to fix it up a little bit." Kirara mewed in agreement (A/N: Kirara is so cute when she does that J )
Miroku's lecherous grin gave away him answer even before he said it, " I'm going to patrol the nearby villages in search of women…I mean…" he never got to finish before Sango gave him a nice bump on the head with a nearby rock. He quickly changed his perspective, " I mean… I'll tag along with Sango".
Shippo's shoulders shrugged as he answered, " I dunno, I guess I'll stay with Keade".
Kagome's smile resturned as she clapped her hands energetically, and chucled to herself on what a surprise Inuyasha was going to get.
Kagome: still chuckling and muttering evilly to herself.
Everyone else including the author: cowering in fear of Kagome's evil chuckling and muttering.
