Chapter 7: The Crackhead Mafia
Maddie's POV
Subaru and Ayato looked at me incredulously, shocked out of their wits to see me holding a gun in my hands, and Laito emerged from the car, saying, "How do you have a gun?! Do you even know how to use it?"
"Better than you, mister," I smirked, aiming the pistol at the wolf and Reiji, who were having a romantic moment with the wolf trying to top him (if you know what I mean) and the vampire trying to pry it off.
And then I fired.
The wolf dropped dead on Reiji, and he pushed it aside. The rest of the pack of wolves were slow in attacking, considering that I was firing recklessly at the animals.
Don't get me wrong – I love animals, but it was self-defense.
"IT'S SO FUN FIRING AFTER SO LONG! WOOHOO!" I cried in joy, and by the time I felt a hand on my shoulder, I realized that I had shot all the obstructions.
I turned around to see Yui cautiously staring at me, her hand on my shoulder.
"What happened? Why are you so scared?" I asked her, blowing over the gun and pocketing it inside my jacket, acting as if nothing just happened.
I just love acting like a boss.
"What was that…?" Ayato questioned, "How in the holy hell do you have a gun?"
"And you fired it like that! Who taught your idiotic self to do that?" Subaru joined in.
"Oh, sis, the tea is hot!" I giggled, "Should I spill, Sakamaki?"
Reiji nodded hesitantly.
"So, okay, let me begin by introducing myself. Drum roll, please?" I asked.
Everyone stared at me boringly.
"I won't tell without a drum roll!" I whined.
"Ugh," Subaru said, and then tapped his hands on his thighs to produce a clapping sound, not much like a drum roll, but that could suffice.
"I am Madison Wilson, though I go by Maddie," I sighed at myself, "And I'm the daughter of a well-known mafia. Heard of the Wilsons? I'm one of them."
"Wha-" Ayato stopped halfway, "So how the fuck are you so weird?"
"What do you mean?"
"Your personality! You're a crackhead! You resemble a goddamn psycho!"
"Let's be honest, Ayato, the only one psychotic in here is Kanato."
"HEY!" Kanato yelled, "HOW DARE YOU?!"
"I'll get you some sweets once we reach," I bribed him.
"Okay," he smiled at me. Talk about mood swings.
"I have question," Laito raised his hand, as if we were in a school and he was a student asking the teacher to use the washroom.
"Yeah?"
"Why are you here, then?" he asked.
"I'm on a holiday!" I chirped, "Plus, I was bored of being an assassin for so long."
"Wait, you're what?" Subaru screeched.
"Shit, I forgot to tell that part, didn't I?" I nervously laughed, "I am an assassin, if that makes you feel better."
"Why would ANYONE FEEL BETTER AFTER KNOWING THAT?" Ayato shouted.
"Aww, are you scared of me?" I teased him.
"N-No," he lied.
"DAMN, I SCARED HIM!" I rejoiced, "LOOK AT YOUR BROTHER, SAKAMAKI! A FUCKING VAMPIRE IS SCARED OF A HUMAN! I MADE HISTORY!"
"Mind your language, Madison," Reiji sighed.
"Ooh, so now I'm Madison? I-" I was about to complete before the car came to a halt again, and this time, the driver spoke, "We're here, sir."
We got off the Limo, and as much as I was missing being in the luxurious car, the hotel in front of my looked five times more luxurious than the car.
The sign read 'HOTEL GETAWAY', and contrary to its name, once entered, seemed like a palace. The insides were decorated with chandeliers, much like the Sakamaki Mansion, and taking my breath away, it was ethereal.
I was probably gaping at the setting, when Laito whispered into my ear, "Like it? I can show you much more amazing things."
"Amazing things? Like what?" I mused.
He sensually chuckled, "Things to make you sin-"
"Ew, guys!" Subaru, who was apparently eavesdropping our conversation, expressed his disgust, and I laughed.
"I have arranged the rooms for all of us. Take these keys and get going," Reiji sternly advised.
"I'll sleep with Pancake," Ayato said, referring to Yui.
"No! Why would you?" Yui protested.
"Because it's my wish, Pancake. You just obey me," Ayato replied.
"Ooh, kinky," I said.
"You just ruined it," Ayato gritted his teeth, and then grabbed a pair of keys and walked off.
"Well, my work is done for tonight," I spoke, yawning, and then waved them off, grabbing a pair of keys and walking over to the allotted room. On the way, I realized something.
I was stuck with a perverted vampired, a tsundere one, a lazy ass guy, a vampire with a stick shoved up his butthole, a guy who dislikes daddy kink, a psychotic kiddo, and a timid human girl.
Wow, way to add adventure to my life.
