Chapter 10: Savage Yui

Maddie's POV

It was the next morning. After having taught Yui how to sass out the rest, I had crashed in her room. She had woke me up when it was time to move to the breakfast hall, so I rushed back to my room to shower and get ready.

And as I accompanied Yui to the breakfast hall, finding it considerably empty, I caught Reiji walking in front of us.

"Hey, Sakamaki!" I called to him loudly, and he audibly sighed, muttering, "Here she comes…"

I sprinted to him with Yui, and he turned to see us getting closer to him.

"Don't come too close, you're worthless mortals," Reiji rudely spoke to us.

And here comes the surprise…

"And you stink," Yui retorted.

Reiji and I stood there in shock, and she walked off with swag.

"…What… was that?" Reiji wondered out loud, with his eyes laughably wide and his face scrunched up in confusion.

"Oh, boy, I taught her all night," I yawned, and he abruptly turned to me.

"What did you teach her?" he hissed.

"I made her the fiercest woman in this universe… after Gamora, but she's dead soooo."

"I hope the consequences of your teachings don't turn out to be chaotic. Because if that's the case, then I won't hesitate to punish you," he sternly spoke.

"Yes, daddy."

"Ugh, you're hopeless."

And with that, I walked jollily with a sulking Reiji beside me. As we reached the empty breakfast hall, since this place was luxurious but not filled with people due to its location, we saw Ayato looking offended, Laito and Kanato laughing, Shuu smirking, and Subaru looking like he approved.

"What happened here?" I asked.

Laito walked up to me, leaning on me with his elbow on my shoulders, and then spoke, "Ayato wanted to drink her blood, but she totally sassed him out! See for yourself!"

"Pancake, don't you dare resist Yours Truly!" Ayato thundered.

"Do you even brush your fangs? All that plaque on my skin when you suck my blood, ew!" Yui made a disgusted face.

"DAMN, SON! I TAUGHT HER THAT COMEBACK!" I rejoiced, and Yui turned around to smile at me.

I high-fived her.

"What's… going on?" Laito looked confounded.

"Basically I taught her how to be a sassy chica, and now she's making me proud! I feel like a proud parent!" I dramatically wiped a stray tear off my face.

"WHAT HAVE YOU DONE?!" Ayato screeched.

"I kinda wanna put these two on a boat," Subaru muttered.

"…You mean you wanna ship them?" I asked him.

"…Yeah."

"Pancake-"

"Don't you dare call me Pancake, you rotten tomato!" Yui screamed at him.

"How-how am I rotten tomato?" Ayato looked baffled.

"You call me Pancake because I'm flat? Well, you do look like a rotten tomato with those un-shampooed hair! You're gross!" the savage girl spat back at him.

Ayato fell to the ground in defeat, looking as if he just lost his life at a war. His face was blank.

I immediately ran up to him, and then cooed, "Sorry, son, but you've lost your fight. Rest in peace."

"…"

"Guys, hold each others' hands!" I commanded, and as no one moved, I scolded, "Y'ALL BETTER GET YO ASSES RIGHT HERE BEFORE I WHIP THEM!"

All of them gathered around, holding each others' hands in a chain. I held Subaru's hand in one hand, and Yui's in the other. Then, I started.

"Oh, almighty lord, this creature right here has ruefully sinned. Kindly chant with me, boys, 'OH, MY MIGHTY LORD'."

And the boys chanted.

"OH, MY MIGHTY LORD."

"'HELP THIS SOUL RIGHT HERE'."

"HELP THIS SOUL RIGHT HERE."

"'LET YOUR LIGHT SHINE ON THIS DEAD-"

"I HAVEN'T DIED, STOP WITH THIS DEMONIC RITUAL!" Ayato yelled.

I smirked.
