*4 Months Later*
Naruto was standing in front of the King and after a few seconds of silence he looked to his left and right seeing the two other teams and then looked to Hinata and saw her point to people and heard her tell him the names. After hearing all of the names Naruto looked back at the king hearing him say " You are all going on a B-rank mission to my displeasure. There is a man named Goto who has taken control of some land that we need to get back." Naruto chuckled knowing a little about this man then looked at a boy with spiky black wearing a blue shirt with tan pants and chuckled hearing him say " King his army can't defeat an uchiha just send me to kill him." Naruto sighed then heard the king say " We can't kill him, he is a small king meaning he is under the world council but I need information to get him through in jail so I need a few people infiltrat his party in one week and I need the best to sneak in." Naruto chuckled then looked at a girl with pink hair and heard her say " Send me and Sasuke-kun we can get it down." Naruto chuckled making everyone look at him then he looked at the king seeing him jester for him to talk then said " Doubt it, Sasuke Uchiha can't go five seconds without getting pissed off and well I am the only person with experience breaking into places." Naruto then looked at the king then Sasuke and chuckled hearing him say " You broke into houses not something like this." Naruto sighed then said " I have broken into this room three times with the king in it and his bedroom four times as he sleeps and I didn't use chakra so don't even think of saying that helped a lot." Naruto then looked at the king again seeing his shook then said with a chuckle " Don't act surprised you caught me twice out of the seven times."
Everyone looking at the king saw him nod with a smile then everyone looked at a man wearing a mask and had one visible eye with spiky silver hair and heard him say " I read his file and he is right Naruto Uzumaki has to go with anyone." Naruto nodded with a smile then Naruto looked at the King hearing him say " That is true and so he should choose his partner." Naruto nodded then said " Hinata she has the byakugan that helps with recone and before you ask Sasuke as a huge ego Sakura can't stop insulting everyone beside Sasuke Shino has the bugs." Naruto then looked at Shino and said " No offense." Naruto then looked back at the king and said " Shikamaru, Choji and Ino all have their own ways of not going and Kiba can't help with recone because he needs to use his chakra to enhance his nose." Naruto then looked at the king and heard him say " Also we need to get away in." Naruto nodded and said " I know a few guys that can contact Goto about a fake job that will interest him." Naruto sighed hearing a man named Asuma say " And what is that?" Naruto chuckled then said pulling out a scroll. " The crown of the King that was your pretiseser old man." Naruto then sighed seeing all of the jonin knights pull out kunai beside his sensei and said " It's a fake that I was planning on using to steal the real one before I joined the knights so don't worry." Naruto put the scroll back in his kunai pouch then turned around walking away and chuckled hearing the King say " What if you can't use chakra." Naruto chuckled then said " I will do the same thing I did to steal your favorite king robes when you had sensors using my arrows and rope."
Hinata smiled hearing the door close and was about to leave when she frowned hearing Sasuke say " You fake an injury saving a weakling and you are treated like a god." Hinata sighed then said " He broke his back in two and you can ask the King he saved my life over his own and he is a better ninja than you." Hinata then sighed and looked at the King and said " Why do you let Naruto-kun disrespect you?" Hinata then got confused seeing the King smile then she smiled hearing him say " First of all he would only become a knight if he didn't have to call me king and second I like it. It reminds me that I am just like everyone else even if I have this name and power to the name." Hinata nodded then sighed and headed home. Hinata smiled as she entered her clan compound seeing her little sister then she headed to her room and packed for tomorrow's mission. After packing her weapons and battle clothes she went to her closet and opened it to see shirts and other clothes. Hinata scanned through all of her clothes until she stopped and grabbed a blue dress. She pulled it out and looked at it then blushed realizing Naruto is going to see her in it. Hinata then folded it and put it in her bag. Hinata then packed a few more things and after packing for about an hour Hinata looked at her door seeing it open and smiled seeing her little sister come in but then she frowned hearing her sister say " Father wants you to meet him in a sparring room." Hinata nodded with a frown then got up and set her pag by the front door then met her father.
Naruto was sitting on his bed looking through his closet seeing no fancy clothes for this party then he frowned. Naruto sighed as he got up and left his apartment then headed to his sensei's house. After Naruto knocked on Kurenai's door he heard her say something and after a minute he saw the door open and smiled seeing his sensei. Naruto looked at the ground, nervously hearing Kurenai say " What do you need, Naruto?" Naruto sighed and opened his mouth then smiled hearing his sensei say " You don't have anything for the party and you don't have enough money." Naruto nodded looking at his sensei then smiled seeing her pull out about three hundred dollars and said taking the money " I will pay you back." Naruto then turned around and started walking away when he chuckled with a huge smile hearing his sensei say " Don't worry about it I have close to ten grand of money I need to spend it." Naruto nodded, then he headed to a clothes shop and bought a black button up long sleeve shirt with black fancy pants and vest for a tux. After spending close to 500 dollars he left the shop and got surprised seeing a clone of himself then gasp hearing him say " I am a clone your clone created at the training ground Hinata's there and she is crying." Naruto nodded, handing him the bags and said " Take it home then dispel yourself." Naruto then ran off to Hinata.
*15 Minutes Earlier*
Hinata was crying laying on the ground in pain after taking close to three hours of strikes from her father but still confused why she is getting this when she gasped hearing him say " That is what you get for having that thief teammate of yours disrespecting the King." Hinata just laid there and mumbled " He doesn't care for me." Hinata then quickly took a smoke pellet and threw it on the ground. Hinata got up grunting in pain and ran to the front door and as she got to the door to leave the compound she grabbed her mission bag and ran out heading towards the training ground Naruto told her to go. As she was running she was crying in pain and sadness that her father doesn't care for her and after getting to the area she fell to her knees dropping her bag and yelled " Naruto-kun." After yelling for the third time she saw Naruto jump out of the trees then as he felt hmi hug her She hugged him tight and said " I know you're a clone but he doesn't care for me he hurts me and I am scared." Hinata put her head in his chest and started crying but smiled feeling the Naruto clone put chakra into her. After about fifteen minutes she got confused seeing the clone disappear in smoke and looked around seeing Naruto then she ran to him hugging him then continued crying into his chest. After ten more minutes of crying Hinata fell asleep in Naruto's arms.
Naruto smiled with tears down her face then swept her off her feet carrying her bridal style and started walking to his place with her bag. As Naruto was walking he looked down at Hinata and saw her hands around his arm and her head in his chest. Naruto just smiled then created a clone and said " Finish packing she is not going to let go of me." Naruto then looked at the clone seeing it nod then saw the clone head off. After another five minutes Naruto entered his apartment on the outer part of the Kingdom he laid Hinata on his couch and to his surprise he got his arm out of her grip and headed to the kitchen and was about to open his cabinet when he looked back at Hinata hearing her say " Naruto-kun where are you going." Naruto smiled then grabbed a banana and headed back to Hinata and said " Nowhere just got something to eat." Naruto then sat next to Hinata and frowned seeing some of her bruises as Hinata took off her jacket then said as Hinata was half way done taking off the hoodie " Hinata I will do it just rest." Naruto then scooted over to Hinata and help her take off her jacket and after looking at her chest again he blushed seeing her stomach then looked away and after a few seconds chuckled hearing Hinata say " Naruto-kun do you have something for me to were sleeping in my mesh shirt is uncomfortable." Naruto nodded, then got up and got Hinata one of his shirts and after walking into the room he tossed her the shirt then said " yell my name when you finish changing." Hinata nodded blushing realizing she was wearing one of Naruto's shirts then after Naruto entered his room he waited about a minute then sighed hearing Hinata yell his name. After going back into his living room he sat next to Hinata and chuckled seeing his shirt a little big on her then he got up seeing the time and said " We should get to sleep. Naruto was walking to his room when he stopped hearing Hinata say his name then heard her say " Can you stay with me I am just afraid for my life thinking of you in the next room." Naruto sighed with a smile then turned around and gestured for her to scoot and layed next to her on his couch making Hinata blush and then Naruto blushed feeling Hinata lay on him and after a few minutes they both fell asleep.
*The Next Morning*
Hinata slowly opened her eyes smelling meat and heard grease popping. After Hinata got her eyes open she found herself laying on Naruto's couch and saw Naruto in the kitchen. Hinata sat up making Naruto look at her and Hinata heard Naruto say " You're finally awake." Hinata nodded, then blushed realizing what she did and then said " What are you making?" Hinata sighed hearing a chuckle from her favorite thief and then smiled hearing him say " Just eyes and bacon." Hinata nodded, then looked at the window seeing the sun just pecking out above the mountains then said " how long have you been up?" Hinata then got confused hearing Naruto chuckle again then she felt her face heating up after Naruto said " About an hour and a half but for that hour you wouldn't let go of my arm and so I sat there until you let go." Hinata just nodded then got and sat at Naruto's table seeing him put two plates on it and said sitting down " Thank you for what you have done for the past twelve hours." Hinata then looked up at Naruto seeing him nod then heard with a sigh " Hinata-chan it's ok but I do need to tell you something about the mission." Hinata nodded, taking a bite of her eggs then she heard " I had talked to Kurenai sensei and the King heard that there are rumors of are mission in 6 days so they are sending everyone with us from yesterday when the king told us the mission and we are going to have to be careful." Hinata nodded and ate the last of her food then said getting up " Naruto-kun thanks for letting me know and let me stay here for the night." Hinata then turned around and started walking back to the couch and sat on it then said seeing Naruto walk to her " I will be out of your hair just a few days after the mission." Hinata just saw Naruto shake his head then blushed hearing Naruto say " Hinata-chan you can stay here as long as you need or even live here." Hinata nodded with a smile then took her shirt and hoodie from yesterday and walked to the bathroom.
Naruto looked at the bathroom waiting for Hinata to come back when he heard " What are you scared to tell her about me? Naruto just shook his head then after seeing Hinata walk out of the bathroom change into her clothes for the day he sighed heavily then said " Hinata-chan I need to talk to you." After seeing Hinata sit next to him Naruto stood up and took a few steps forward then said " When we first met in the hospital you asked me why everyone calls me a demon and I am going to tell you." Naruto continued looking away from Hinata and said " I have the Kyubi sealed in me." Naruto turned around and was not surprised seeing a little fear in her then said looking at the ground " I understand if you don't even want to see me again but me and the Old Man are the only people that know and you can't tell anyone or you will be killed." Naruto then turned and was about to walk into his room when he turned back around hearing Hinata say his name. Naruto just had a sad look but then smiled hearing Hinata say " I don't care if you are the demon you are my friend and I don't care." Naruto just smiled then sat next to Hinata, tears down her face and said " I have never heard something like that before about what I hold." Naruto then chuckled when Hinata grabbed his hand and said " Hinata-chan I was alone my whole life until I met you and I have wanted to tell you the truth about what I hold and was scared for you to abondane me." After a few seconds Naruto whipped the tears off his cheeks then said looking at Hinata "We will be late to leave, we should go." Naruto then got up and walked into his room which then he sighed heavily with a small blush then mumbled " I will ask her after the mission."
Naruto then grabbed his bag and left with Hinata heading to the gate. As Naruto was walking he noticed the gates in the distance. Naruto smiled ready for his first mission when he looked at Hinata, feeling her grab his hand. Naruto saw a scared look on Hinata's face then looked ahead then sighed heavily seeing Hinata's father then he squeezed her hand and said " I won't let anything happen to you." Naruto just continued looking forward when he blushed feeling soft and warm lips touch his cheek. Naruto just continued walking without saying a thing then heard Hinata say " That is a thank you for what you have done for me." Naruto just smiled then sighed looking at the ground for a second then he looked at Hinata then said " Thank you." Naruto then looked forward again seeing the gate closer then saw an arm in front of him. Naruto looked to the side to see Hinata's father and then saw Hinata's father grab Hinata's arm. When Naruto saw this he grabbed Haisha's wrist pushing Hinata behind him and twisted then said " Don't touch her." " Demon, don't tell me what to do." Naruto then saw Haisha look at Hinata and heard him say " Do you know who he truly is?" Naruto just got angry then chuckled hearing Hinata say " Yea he is Naruto Uzumaki the holder of the Kyuubi and my best friend." Naruto just chuckled, then he got up and said " Also you know the law, don't try that again." Naruto then continued walking forward and after a few steps heard Haisha yell " I want my daughter home when she is back." Naruto put his only hand that is not holding something behind himself and holded up the middle finger and his thumb up as his other fingers were down. After a few seconds of holding his hand up he put it down then chuckled and said " Hinata-chan I might have just made the relationship with your father worse."
Hinata chuckled and then said " What did you do?" Hinata then looked at Naruto, hearing him sigh, then heard him say " I just flipped off your father." Hinata just smiled then chuckled at Naruto's confusions then said " Naruto-kun yesterday I realized that he doesn't care for me and I don't care for him and so if you didn't do that I most likely would do the same thing." Hinata then squeezed Naruto's hand and said " Naruto-kun the Hyuga clan isn't my family beside my sister and the team." Hinata then looked at Naruto and said " Mostly you Naruto. You care for me and for a while I have noticed your shadow clones that have been following me and I still also remember the times you broke into my room and healed me after I fell asleep, the days where he hurt me." Hinata then looked at Naruto seeing his surprised look then heard him say " I am sorry or thankful I guess. I have no idea how to take that." Hinata chuckled looking at the ground then said " Naruto I am saying thank you for what you have done for me and finally realized that we are more than friends." Hinata then looked at the ground blushing then said " I mean like family not dating." Hinata then sighed. After a few seconds she looked at Naruto, hearing him chuckle then heard him say " I knew what you meant." Hinata then stopped and let go of Naruto's hand to both of their dislikes, then Hinata faced Naruto and said " I'm scared." Hinata then smiled seeing Naruto smile then heard him say " Don't worry I have something of a name in the criminal world so even if we are busted we won't die I promise." Hinata nodded and said " You are going to have to tell me about that after we get back." After Hinata said that she got worried seeing Naruto have a concerned reaction then heard him say after a few minutes " Let's not keep them waiting." Hinata then turned facing everyone then walked over to them.
