Hello I'm back with another chapter! Feel free to give feedback so I can improve the story, and enjoy!

Merlin

They were most definitely Not havingthe time of their lives.

Merlin stumbled around the pitch black room as he heard the shrieks start up again when he heard footsteps behind him and a familiar scornful voice sounded behind him but it almost seemed as if he was chasing ghosts because he could only see it out of the corner of his eye whenever he turned, "Your a sorcerer!? How could you keep this from me Merlin, you know the penalty of sorcery… death, GUARDS!"

"Arthur I-" I started before instantly knowing it had to be a vision, just a vision he was still in the Mandrake filled room, and knelt back on the floor trying to calm down, "You're not real!"

"Oh aren't we?" scorned another familiar voice… Freya… "You caused my death! You could have done something, but you chose your prince over me, and now look what has happened, I hope your proud of your choice, Merlin," She had spat the last part out like it was garbage and I turned my head away closing my eyes but I still saw the visions in my head, of scorn and outrage, everything I had feared as figures flashed through my head and people around me jeering at me for what I had done.

I knew it wasn't real because if I looked around I found myself still in the mandrake room, still the visions were getting more accurate by the hour, I had no idea how long I was in there as I started to react the the visions, I tried to sleep but there was always something, something that needed to be fixed ranging from Morgana to Alice even Mordred appeared who were screaming at me for my wrongs, and what was worse they were completely right….

Gwen

Gwen was not having a pleasant time either as figures she trusted sneered at her and laughed disappearing and reappearing at a whim as they snarled in her face. Nothing seemed real anymore and all she could do was hope that Arthur was coming but her hope was fading fast as she wondered if she would ever be free.

It was already very late at night though we still hadn't gotten out of the forest yet, we would though… we had to, for Gwen and Merlin. We just had to keep pushing forward, again the others had different plans.

Arthur

"We should have made it out of this forest already," said Leon as we stumbled through the undergrowth.

I didn't respond, not wanting to have the whole conversation of let's rest for another day while our friends are probably dying. I knew it wasn't fair to think of it that way though, still that's how it felt. When he saw a red piece of cloth pinned to a tree branch.

"Look,"

The others glanced at it and Gwaine asked, "What is it?"

Arthur shows him the cloth and Gwaine lifts his cloak revealing a hole where the piece of cloth used to go in his cloak as the others signed already starting to connect the dots.

"How can that be?" asked Elyan.

"We have gone around in a circle, that's what!" I yelled angrily, thrusting my sword into the ground, "We have wasted an Entire day!"

"Let's make camp for the night," suggested Leon, "Get some rest and pick up fresh in the morning,"

As the others leave to go set up camp, Arthur just sinks to the ground looking out into the forest once again feeling utterly defeated before Gwaine walks over.

"We want to find Merlin and Gwen as much as you do,"

"Then we should be moving!" yelled Arthur angrily once more before calming himself down, "Sorry Gwaine, you didn't deserve that…"

"Its fine, I know all about letting your feelings out, though usually its at a bar and ends in a-"

"Let me guess, a bar fight?"

"Yep, next time I go to a bar you should tag along with me, get all that pent up rage out," suggested Gwaine half joking as Arthur shook his head.

Morgana

She woke up well rested the next morning ready to go check on Guinevere with a twisted smile she approached the door and instantly she heard the Mandrake roots screaming along with Guinevere still she pushed on and heard Guinevere's heavy breathing as she uttered some names right before I opened the door, "Merlin?"

"Come… lets have something to eat," smirked Morgana walking out again as Gwen reluctantly followed after a glance back at the room.

I led her downstairs to a cobweb filled banquet as the manipulation process begun, saying in a kind tone trying to sound genuinely concerned, "Eat, here, food always makes me feel better," That was true after all, "You need to eat… your fading away,"

"I don't know whatever cruel trick you're playing, but I won't be broken, and where is Merlin?" she said in a cold tone towards me looking around anxiously.

I ignored the last part of her sentence afterall Merlin was fine… physically, "I thought this would be nice... I know how lonely you must be, all by yourself in that room, at least you're not shackled. There's daylight. You can move, you can see…"

She stared at me in slight confusion before her mask slipped on again probably in some vain attempt trying to keep me to think she was scared, she was always bad at hiding her true feelings besides the Mandrake root would have gotten to anyone by now it had little care for how strong you were more which had more painful memories, "Where is Merlin?" she asked again and I had a feeling she would keep asking this question until we both fell asleep if I did not answer.

"Merlin is fine," I said my smile still plastered on my face, "We are here talking about you, and who knows if your good I might let you see him,"

The last part of what I said got her attention and I tried not to look hurt, she cared more about a pathetic serving boy, granted a gutsy stupied one but still, over me, her oldest friend still I tried to sound nice, "I too have suffered, Gwen. I spent two years living in darkness. I spent two years chained to a wall in the bottom of a pit. . . You did not know?"

Shaking her head Gwen showed her first sign of sympathy.

"I would have sold my soul for someone to show me kindness such as this. Do you want me to take you back up there?" I said before eating a grape gazing at her conflicted expression.

After a small meal I did exactly that, soon she would have exactly what she wanted, the two of them groveling at my feet, it was time to give her dear "friend" Merlin a special visit.

She found him curled up on the far side of the room practically chanting it wasn't real, as she approached, she hated this place more than many, there were so many people wailing, though provided she only spent a short amount of time in here the worst that could happen was a few fleeting visions, as long as nobody big approached her, once the fragile mind was shattered from one meeting your defenses were nearly down.

"Hello Merlin," I said with a cruel smile, "Enjoying your time?"

His eyes shot open, studying me carefully, probably wondering whether or not I was real and I took my chance perhaps I could twist his mind a little more and get some information, "This is all your fault Merlin, afterall you poisoned me didn't you? All because I had magic," she sneered at him trying to find a nerve, surprisingly she found it pretty quick, she expected more from the servant always jumping headfirst into danger.

"You did that yourself…" he said but he didn't look or sound very convinced as he flinched back from her closing his eyes and opening them expecting her to be gone already.

"You're not real," he stated sternly.

"No I'm not," I said still with a cruel grin on as I continued talking, "Who have you seen so far? I'm sure it was pleasant,"

"You, Freya, Bal-" he cut off obviously thinking better as he closed his eyes again, "No vision has stayed this long,"

"Perhaps we are getting better," she smirked quietly leaving the room listening to him squirm on the ground in fear.
