Damon sighed, taking a deep breath. "Well seeing as this was brought on as an accident we have a lot to cover. Normally it is impossible for a werewolf and vampire to mate, let alone blood mate. The wolf would have died the second the blood entered it's system. But going by the age of the vampire and your relationship, I say it was a miracle. So getting that out the way, lets begin with the process."

"Which is?" Carlisle asked.

"You are literally dealing with a newborn. She had her wolf down, she knows how to control it and calm it. The vampire side is foreign, to wild and new. It will crave the blood, the feed. Anything can and will trigger it." Damon explained. "You will need to teach her the right way to feed and how to control the hunger."

"Carlisle taught all of us, he can teach her." Jasper replied.

Damon nodded. "But keep in mind that both her sides are not equal, one will try to dominate the other. With us, the vampire is the dominate one. With you it's most likely the wolf, so that is another problem. Your wolf will fight when ever the vampire comes out. You will need to control that. Now I can't do anything to help, but simply tell you what you will go through. Your pack or coven are the ones that can and will help you. I am simply here to tell you."

"She is strong, I will give you that." Stefan grumbled, his hand rubbing his head.

I felt a bit ashamed by that. Here they came to help, and I end up attacking them. "Sorry, but next time don't touch them."

Damon leaned forward, his eyes running over me. "How old are you?"

"Early life or after life?"

He rolled his eyes. "Human or wolf in this case."

"22."

Stefan frowned. "Alpha?"

"No beta."

Damon chuckled. "Well I believe you are an alpha. There is no way a 22 werewolf could have taken us three on like that. Much less a half day old vampire."

I frowned. "carlisle d-"

"He much older than the three of us. I was turned in 1864 at the age of 25. I am 178. Vampire for 153 years. Stefan was turned that same day at the age of 17 making him 171. Elena was turned I. 2010 at the age of 25, she is the youngest and newest one." Damon gestured to Carlisle. "If I am not mistaken you are what 350?"

Carlisle shrugged. "Give or take."

"Yeah. You see the older the vampire the stronger. Had Edward attacked we would have lost."

Damon and his family left hours later, having told her everything there was to know. She was on her own. Good news was, she already hunted animals only difference would be her drinking their blood as well. With a heavy sigh, she walked up to her room. She needed to come to terms with this. Falling on the bed, she hid her face and allowed a few tears to fall.

Carlisle appeared by her side a few moments later. Picking her up he held her close to his chest, allowing her to let the tears fall.

"I'm sorry Alex, this is my fault." Carlisle whispered.

Alex shook her head. "No, I told you it isn't. I just need to get ahold of myself."

Giving her a soft kiss, he held her closer. "I'll be with you every step, I will not leave you alone."

"I know."

The next morning she woke up to find Carlisle still in bed with her. Glancing up at him, she ran her finger under his jawline. "I thought you'd be at work by now?"

"I called off. I told them only to call if it was an emergency."

Looking around she found no one in the room. Listening she heard no one. "No one is home?"

Carlisle pulled her closer into his chest. "The girls took Renesme and Sam to Charlie's house. The boys are out hunting."

Alex hid her face into his chest, her hair falling around her face. "So we are alone?"

"Yes." He quickly stopped her hand. "But not long enough for that." Alex chuckled, resting her chin on his chest. Her hair covering all of her face. Carlisle smiled, pushing her hair away from her face. "Besides mating right now would not be the best of the ideas."

Blowing a stand away, she frowned. "And why is that?"

"Well you are a day old vampire love." He resisted the eye roll at seeing her clueless look. "When someone says vampires, what are the three first things that come to mind?"

Alex shrugged. "Blood, dead and sex."

"Why sex?"

"Because out of all of us mystical creatures, vampires are known for being the most seductive and sexual ones." Alex had remembered her father telling her about them. Her pack had nothing against vampires, in fact her father was friends with a coven.

Carlisle sat up, leaning his back against the bed headboard. Alex laid her head on her arms, on top on his lap. Carlisle ran his fingers through her hair, soothing both her and him. "If we mate now, your new side is going to take full control. It will be amazing, but dangerous. Until you get full control of yourself again, we are not going to be able to mate." He saw the look she gave him. "And nothing of the sorts."

Alex growled, hiding her face once more. "Might as well turn myself into a nun."

Carlisle laughed pulling her up, making her straddle him. "Just until we get back on track." Kissing her softly, he trailed across her jaw and down her neck. Nibbling and sucking on her neck, he held her still, attacking her neck in the one spot that drove her crazy. He didn't let her move, one arm held her waist from moving and the other her head from moving. Carlisle knew he had to stop, he shouldn't rile her up, but she was simply intoxicating. The taste of her skin alone drove him over the limit. He groan at the tug of hair she gave him. Pulling back he leaned his forehead against hers. "I need to stop."

Alex shook her head, leaning down to his neck. "No you don't." Nibbling the front of his neck, she began to unbutton his shirt. Her hands running over his chiseled chest. "You really don't." She yelped having suddenly been flipped onto her back, with Carlisle over her.

"I really do." Giving her a small peck, he jumped off the bed. "I will be in my office, get ready."

Alex rested on her elbows, confused. "Get ready? For what?"

"We are going out. Dinner. Movie. Whatever you like." Carlisle said.

Alex groaned, falling back into bed and covering herself with the blankets. Leaving only her head out. "I am not leaving my bed today."

Carlisle pulled the blanket from her, laughing at the growl the growl she gave him. "You also need to feed Alex."

"Alright. I will be ready in a few."

"Very well love."

By the time Alex was ready more than a few minutes had past. Grabbing her phone and jacket, she jogged down the stairs and into his office. Alex froze, Carlisle had still to button up his shirt. The man sat at his desk, busy with papers and shirt fully open. Walking over to him she sat on his desk, running her nails over his chest. "This is not fair."

Carlisle leaned back against his chair, bringing her hand to his lips. "Forgot."

"Uh-huh." The sound of footsteps alerted her of the boys returning. "Seems they had a good hunt."

"Sounds like it." Standing up, he shut his computer and closed the files. "Lets go."

Alex stopped him. Standing in front of him she began to button up his shirt. Before each button closed, she placed a small kiss on him. Stopping as she hovered over his mouth. "Now lets go." Speeding out of the office and towards the car she could hear him laughing.

He took her out to a small restaurant, although he didn't eat, he did take a bite or two from her dessert.

The restaurant was cozy, welcoming. The walls were made of old wood, bringing a old country touch to it. Fireplace with a deer's head hanging over the mantle. The tables were a dark brown, oval shaped. Flowers in the center of each one. They sat on one of the booths in the corner. It was private, but it allowed them the view of who came in and out. The place was full. Alex glanced around at the busy tables. An old couple eating side by side, one glass of wine each, studiously bent over their meals. A group of young women in their thirties collapsing with helpless giggles, as a stern woman dining alone nearby looked on forward and frowned. Business men in their suits lighting up cigars. American tourists, trying to agree over the menu. A family and their teenage children. The noise level was high, even more so for them, but it was comfortable.

Alex glanced at Carlisle, he himself was busy looking at the other tables. She took a moment to study him. He really was breathtaking. From his dirty blond hair, golden amber eyes, to his perfect body. Just having him there beside her was enough. His presence alone did wonders on her. She couldn't wait for the moment she would be his in every way. Reaching over, she fan her fingers through his hair. Carlisle hummed softly, leaning into her touch.

"What are you thinking about?" She asked.

Carlisle smiled, grabbing her hand in his. "Nothing in particular. What has happened on the few days you have been here. And what is to come."

Her smile faltered a bit. She has been through a lot these past few days. Paul and his imprint. Her and the Cullen's. Her and Carlisle. Her and Paul's bite. She needed a break. "It has been crazy."

"Speaking of crazy, Alice found out your birthday is in a few days." Carlisle mumbled.

Alex groaned, falling into his side. "Tell me there is a way to stop her."

"Sure, we just haven't figured it out." Carlisle laughed, dodging the hit. "Come on love, it will allow you and Sam to meet other covens."

Alex frowned. "Other covens? Carlisle they don't know you have found your mate. They don't know what I was, much less what I am now. What if something happens?"

Carlisle quickly pulled her into his arms. "From the moment I found you, you became my world Alex. Nothing is going to happen to you. I will make sure Alice invites those I truly trust." Kissing her on the head, he cursed at not realizing her fears. "Come, let's go for a walk." Paying the bill, he took her hand and walked out.

Carlisle held her by the waist as they walked through the streets. It was a weekend, so they were more town folks than usual. Alex held back from growling at every girl that would stare at her mate. To her surprise he steered them past the town and into the woods. "I want to show you something."

Alex was amazed by the small cabin they came up on. It was purely made of logs, with a small porch. Walking into the cabin she took off to explore. The kitchen was ironically all stainless steel appliances, a small island made of logs in the middle, with a wooden table and chairs. The living room had a fire place surrounded by a brick wall, to prevent the logs from burning. The couches and tables were made of Maplewood, animal fur draped over them. The two bedrooms were pretty, one was simple a bed, desk and drawer. The second had a large king size bed with curtains surround the bed from top to bottom. Large fur rug covering the floor. The drawers and side desks were all cherry wood bringing the room to live.

"Its beautiful." Alex whispered.

Carlisle walked up behind her, wrapping her arms around her. "I figured that during our honeymoon, you wouldn't want to be to far from Sam. So I thought what better that than the cabin. Plus it's in the woods."

Alex froze, slowly turning around to look up at him. "Honeymoon?"
