A/N: Hey guys! Sorry for not updating in a long time. The computer won't let me update new stories, just chapters. Anyway, I have a new one-shot and it's suppose to be poetry with a first person kind of view, so please be nice.
"From the Window"
By Dark Shining Light
Pairing: Téa and Atemu
Poetry/Romance
Rated k+
Summary: one-shot. What Atemu sees through his window.
Notes: I know it doesn't have a good title or summary but please read it! It's better than it sounds!
(Do not Own Yu Gi Oh!) (Please Read and Review)
I see her outside through my window
Picking up flowers for the dining table
Her soft hands digging into the dirt
Pulling out that red rose
But it isn't as red as her lips
Nor the Nile doesn't sparkle as much as her blue eyes
Her short brown hair
floating softly as the wind pushed it.
Oh Ra, I think I'm in love
In love?
Did I just say that?
But I know it's true
I can't deny it
My heart won't let me
But the priests won't allow it
"A pharaoh?
Falling in love with his servant?
Impossible."
They'd say
"She may be pretty
but no jewels come from her family"
But don't they know I'd give up my jewels to be with her?
Sigh. It stinks to be pharaoh,
when you can't marry the one you love
All I can do now
is watch her from my window
Picking up flowers for the dining table
A/N: I hope you liked it and don't be rude if you didn't like please! Got to go! Bye!
