...

Gellert wasn't sure why he had changed things to allow the young man some freedom. Harrison had taken to the freedom like a child in first snow. He spent much of his time running as a wolf. When he was in the castle it was usually curled up by the fire. Sometimes that would be in one of the sitting rooms. Very occasionally that would be in his office.

When he wasn't in his wolf form Gellert had caught Harrison in the library. Most of the time he was reading on Runes but occasionally it was on Time Magic. He really hoped Harrison wasn't fool enough to mess with time. Too many things could go wrong with it. Too much of a risk of being born. Whenever he would see Gellert however he would immediately shut the book and move onto something. More often than not it would be a run as he called it. Shifting into being a wolf and running. Sometimes he would be gone for mere minutes. Others he would be gone for half a day.

As per their routine he entered the library shortly before dinner. A routine that would soon be disrupted as he was needed in Paris. To his surprise Harrison had several books on German lineage in front of him. It appeared as if he was looking for a specific family. By the pile on the table he must have gone through half of Gellert's collection.

Just as he was about to ask who the other was looking for Harrison shouted triumphantly, "Found him!"

Amusedly Gellert asked, "Found who, Leibing?"

That had Harrison's head shooting up to stare at him in shock. Obviously he had either lost track of time or had not heard him enter. There was no hatred in the green eyes those. Just curiosity which was a pleasant change all things considered.

Harrison glanced from him to the book uncertainly. Then he muttered, "Adolf K. Weissman. Though I did not realize he had a sister. I wonder what happened to her..."

The man trailed off his green eyes glazing over in thought. Curiosity over took him and he moved towards the table. It was an old book. One of the ancient families then. Weissman was one ancient families, there were only a few left. He knew that the Lord was an old man and his Heir was off with muggles.

Adolf was the younger of the two Weissman children. However it was said his mind was unmatched even if his personality was unusual. He had not met the man but rumors were sometimes just as good. Gellert wished he had listened to rumors about the red-haired magizoologist.

Carefully so not to scare the man off he asked, "What do you want with Heir Weissman? He is currently working on a project with muggles. From what I understand he is a strange man."

Harrison ran a hand over his arm almost as if it pained him. That made Gellert frown. He always checked Harrison over when he came back from a run. Any injuries were healed quickly. Yet he had never sensed any pains coming from there. It was where the auras originated but no injuries.

Then cryptically Harrison replied, "Answers. I hope with him I can find the answers to my questions. And he is the only living person who knows of what caused this."

There was more but it was left unsaid. Gellert frowned deeply but he said, "If you had asked I could have helped, Leibing. What are you trying to learn?"

"You wouldn't know," replied the man without looking at him still rubbing at his forearm, "It isn't something known to wizards."

It almost felt as if he wanted to say more but just stopped himself. The mystery of the man in front of him was deepening. Gellert wanted to possess all the knowledge and him completely.

That however was for another time as he needed to leave. Paris was waiting and he had asked the house elves to look after Harrison. Despite what some people thought he was not a monster to creatures. House elves had strong magic and if they wanted to they could be formidable. The want was what was lacking. They enjoyed their work as long as their wizard was kind to them.

It was the effort in trying to act like Graves that had pushed the stigma against him. The wizard was not known for his kindness towards creatures. Whether this was because of MACUSA's or something more he didn't know. If he had not done so then he might not have had issues with Scamander. Then again he might not have met Harrison.

Then he sighed, "I'm having to leave for a few days. The house elves will look after you for time I'm gone."

Harrison frowned, "Where are you going? Why?"

Gellert replied his head tilting to the side in curiosity, "Paris. To meet with another young man. One who is lost on his path."

The frown simply deepened. Green eyes seemed to know everything.

Then Harrison said, "Be safe and beware the raven."

Gellert wanted to ask more but the man didn't even look at him. His attentions returned to the book.
