"Sirius?" Molly caught him in the hallway, with a look of sadness. "What did you do?"

"It was time we did something." He replied. "She was going to have us all go back to never knowing she existed in our lives. Giving us the freedom of not carrying that burden around, while she suffers in the shadows. This is the least I can do for her. If just for a while, we can bare with this."

"When she finds out-"

"I will gladly take the reprimands." Sirius chuckle. "Would you take Adhara for a moment."

Aaron stood from the couch at seeing Sirius walk in. "How did she take it?"

"I didn't tell her." He sighed. "She is under a sleep charm. Do what you must. Make sure the spell is tied with the pact." His hand gripped Aaron by the arm. "I am trusting you. Should you betray me, I will worse than anything Voldemort could do."

"Had I wanted to betray you, I would never have spoken a word." Aaron said. "Athena has become a dear friend of mine. I wasn't going to turn my back on her." Giving him a pat on the shoulder Aaron walked out.

Sirius took a seat on the couch. Leaning forwards he dropped his head, placing his hands over his hair. As much as he knew this was the right move, he couldn't help but feel the opposite. Every move she made was met with his loud disapproval. Mainly because of the danger she willingly put herself in, but also because of the distance, it created between them. And now he was going against everything he loathed. Allowing some stranger erase all memory of him, their daughter and family.

Looking up he froze at seeing Aaron walking into the room with his wife in arms. "Is it done?" Aaron nodded. "What will she remember?"

"Nothing involving you or the others." Aaron replied. "She will remember the pact and certain events from the past years. But where it concerns, Granger, Potter, Weasly's and you, that is blocked from her mind."

"She will wonder why she made the pact." Sirius stated.

"She will believe it was all for her brother and his son." Aaron replied. "Should the pact between her and Voldemort be broken, than the spell will be lifted."

Sirius could see Aaron's mouth moving, but he sounded so far away. "O-okay."

"Speak with the others before tomorrow." Aaron paused beside him, turning his head slightly towards Sirius. "They will need to understand and behave accordingly."

Sirius reached out for Aaron, stopping him for a second time. "What about our Adhara?"

Aaron thought for a moment. "I don't know." He spoke those words with a slight shock himself. "The spell can fight any memory you wish to block/erase. But feeling and emotions are different things. She might not remember her, but she will feel a connection towards to her." Readjusting the sleeping girl in his arms, he sighed. "For the time being keep the child away."

'Keep the child away.' The one thing he always vowed to not do. He couldn't see himself purposely keeping his daughter from her mother. It felt wrong on so many levels. "I will try, but I make no promises."

Aaron shrugged making his way towards the floo channel. "Doesn't bother me either way to be honest, but it will make things go smoothly." Just as he called out his destination, the golden trio walked into the room.

Hermione's eyes widen at seeing Athena being carried away. "Hey!" Rushing towards them, she failed at her attempt to stop them. "W-who was that and why did he take Athen?!"

Sirius grabbed his drink, tossing it back with a slight groan. The liquid trickled down his throat, leaving a burning sensation where it hit. "Sit down." Doing as told they took the couch across from him. "Before I say anything, I need you to understand I had no other choice. It was either her or us."

Hermione shared a look with Harry and Ron, before pinning Sirius with a curious glare. "What did you do?"

Sirius shivered slightly at the look he got from the witch. Hermione could be scary when she wanted to and it didn't help, she was talented with the wand. Glancing down at the rings siting on his finger, he ran his thumb over them. Without looking up at them he spilled every last detail of what had occurred just moments before.

Harry was too stun to speak. His best friend no longer remember anything about them. "B-but-"

"So just like that." Hermione muttered the words. "You just had her memories erased of-"

"Blocked." Sirius stated.

"That's not the bloody point!" She yelled. "She had no recollection of us or everything we have been through! She won't remember what the four of us together have done for each other! You had no right to make such decisions behind her back!"

"But it's perfectly fine when she does it." Sirius realized he sounded like a bratty teenager, but at the moment he couldn't care less. "Athena has constantly been putting herself in danger for all of us. She has given up so much for me and her daughter. It may not seem like it, but this is the least we could be for her." Seeing them not content, he sighed. "Athena had plans set with Aaron to have all of our memories erased after the birth of Adhara."

Ron scoffed. "What?"

"After having told the others the reason for her alliance with Voldemort, she was warned of the danger looming all of us. So to avoid that from happening, she has made a new pact with them." Sirius looked over them. All he was met with were sad eyes. "She has been carrying so much for us. Endured so much for us. She was going to go around with all the memories of us while we lived on with our lives. I couldn't let her go through with that. Not alone. At least this way-"

"We won't be alone." Ron whispered. "We have each other."

Sirius nodded. "Yes."

Hermione exhaled softly. "Will she be alright?"

"I believe so." Sirius replied. "No harm will come from them. For some unknown reason Voldemort is drawn to her. And with the pact Ron and Hermione are off limits. As long as Harry is with one of us the death eaters will hesitate." The sound of hungry cries suddenly blared throughout the house.

Molly walked in with the fussing baby. "She's hungry." She handed him the baby and bottle. "Here is the bottle, start learning."

Cradling the baby in his arms, he tilted the bottle towards her mouth. Grinning at the hungry suckles. "She has her mother's eyes."

Harry slowly stood up walking around Sirius and peering over his shoulder. "And nose." Hermione and Ron followed after standing around Sirius and Adhara. "Why Adhara?"

"Adhara is the name of one of the brightest stars." Hermione whispered. "Same as Sirius."

"That's why she picked it." Sirius mumbled. "Adhara Black."

"Sirius?" Ron bit his lip gesturing down at the baby. "Can I?"

Frowning for a moment, he nearly jumped at realizing what he was asking. "Of course, she's done eating. You can burp her." Placing the child facing over his shoulder, he grabbed Ron's arm and placed it on Adhara's back. "Pat her slowly, but firm until she burps."

Doing so he grinned at the cooing sounds she made. "She likes it."

"Just be careful when she burps." Molly had walked in seeing her son holding the child.

Ron frowned. "Why?"

"She might-"

"Ugh!" Ron gagged at the white milky vomit splattered all over his shoulder and back. "Gross!"

"Vomit." Molly chuckled.

"Oh-that's just fo-oh god I'm going to throw up." Ron held the child at arms length. "How can something so small make such a mess?!"

Grabbing his daughter back, he cleaned her up. "You clearly have never cleaned a diaper."

Molly shook her head the laughter coming from the four of them. If only she were in there. "Ron go get cleaned up. Sirius she needs her nap and the rest of you need to head back." Getting a set of groans, she waved them off. "She will still be here when you come back. But you three need to stop sneaking off. Dumbledore will tolerate only so much."

Walking into the nursery he had set days prior, he stood in the middle of the room with Adhara in his arms. The room was normal for an infante. The walls were decorated with images of dragons, wolves and owls. The base color a low yellow, although he was soon to change it into a light blue seeing that was Athena's favorite color. On the wall closest to the door were the changing table, dresser and a closet designed to hold an unlimited amount of clothes. Right in front of him was a couch and rocking chair with a bookcase in the middle of both. A small side table just in front of the seats, holding a lamp. To the wall on the right side was the largest window, with a windowsill seat. The area was covered with pillows and stuff toys. Right smack middle of the room was a burgundy colored crib. Inside was black and red blanket with a howling wolf image.

Laying Adhara down in the crib he looked up to the chandelier. It hovered over the crib lowly. The pieces were anigmus of each one. The first row were Lilly's doe, James stag, Harry's stag and Snape's doe. He was surprised when Athena added the second doe. But he didn't question it. The second was of Ron's Jack Russell, ginny's horse and the twins magpie. The third were Hermione's otter, Luna's hare, David's lion and a lioness. He wasn't sure who that belonged to. The finally one at the bottom were of his dog, her dogs, Tonks and Remus's wolf.

Reaching for the little knob on the side, he twirled it three times. A soothing lullaby he never heard began playing. The figurines began dancing around. They broke from their stings, swirling and twirling above the crib. They were putting on a mesmerizing show for their audience of two. Adhara gave up her fight against sleep within seconds of seeing the moving figures. Tucking the blanket around her he brushed her soft hair back.

"I have no idea what I am doing. I know you miss your mother's touch, but she will be back real soon. In the mean time, just bare with me." He chuckled. "I am learning as I go. But I will promise you this. I will never leave your side. Neither will your mother." Feeling Adhara's tiny hand wrap around his finger, he stared at the sleeping child with such admiration. "Little Adhara."
