Well exams are over and my PS4 is still being held by the police so good news for all of you, I'm back and having only one other thing to do aside from this to amuse myself for the next few weeks means: prepare for a lot of chapters. Additionally, I am also posting my stories along with some of my English essays on another site, there is a short explanation on my profile so check it out as I post chapters there a day before uploading here.
Now, while I have the next chapter done and just needing a proofread, I regretfully have to say that my DxD burst is wanning and I probably won't write the meeting (chapter 20) for a while, so you might need to wait a few weeks to a few months for that depending on when my DxD kick comes back.
However, I have been writing a lot of other stuff, for instance I have five new Fairy Tail stories with their first chapters all proofread and ready to go, along with a sixth that is currently bouncing around in my head that I will start writing on as well. Plus, I have finally decided, screw holding my stories in reserve, and have decided to also upload the Bleach story I've been sporadically working on. The first chapter is done, but that is all so far, but I have quite a bit planned out already since I've had this idea in my mind since last year.
In addition to this, I've also got another Naruto story which I am also going to start writing soon which I have partially planned out, surprisingly, it will be my first non-harem/multi-pairing Naruto story and even more surprising is the fact that it isn't Naruto/Tenten, my original favourite pairing and the main of my first story, but rather, is a Naruto/Tayuya. So there is also that to look forward too.
For my other stories, I have a quarter of a chapter ready for TTONU but so far, NGOTM, C&D and TBTB have nothing for them as of now. That being said, I will try and get around to updating them as well since some have been stagnate for almost a year now.

Chapter 18 – The Calm Before The Storm
Issei stared at Kuroka. Perhaps stare isn't the correct word to use. Issei gawked at Kuroka, absolutely flabbergasted at her presence in his parent's house, in his bedroom no less.
Issei snapped out of his shock and started to focus a fairly large amount of energy in his hands causing a dark purple ball of energy to appear in his hands flecked with red, vein like patterns along it.
Kuroka tensed up slightly preparing to act if Issei attacked her but when the ball rapidly expanded and passed her causing no damage she relaxed slightly.
'Ok, you, on the bed, now.' Ordered Issei firmly.
'My Issei, I didn't expect you to be so forward, nya.' Teased Kuroka.
Issei was having none of that though and walked up to Kuroka with an aura of dominance surrounding him which somewhat cowed the Youkai. Issei grabbed Kuroka by her shoulders, before swiftly moving her over to his bed and sitting her down.
'Now, what are you doing here? Actually, before that, how are you here? No, scratch that, why did you think coming here was a good idea?' Questioned Issei rapidly, as he gazed intently at Kuroka.
'Ara, you sit a beautiful woman on your bed and all you want to do is ask her questions, nya?' Questioned Kuroka, in her ever-present teasing tone.
'No, there are plenty of things I would want to do to you on this bed, especially with the barrier I just set up, but I need answers to some questions first.' Replied Issei without missing a beat.
'Oh, you have gotten bolder since we last spoke, but I can indulge you I suppose, nya.' Commented Kuroka teasingly, before her expression shifted to a more serious one.
'Khaos Brigade, or rather, the Old Satan Faction is moving.' Said Kuroka seriously for once.
'What else? Is it just them, you can't tell me they are going to try something alone? They may have numbers, but their strength is abysmal.' Commented Issei.
'You give them too much credit, you of all people by now must have realised devils are proud, arrogant creatures. I suppose even I am since I became one, but then again, my very name causes most devils to tremble in fear, nya.' Kuroka said happily, becoming playful once again.
'So who and when?' Asked Issei slightly more relaxed.
'Your favourite little Leviathan, during the upcoming meeting.' Answered Kuroka with a smile.
Issei mirrored the smile with one of his own and clenched his fist in excitement.
'I'm so happy right now Kuroka I could kiss you.' Commented Issei offhandedly, his tone full of anticipation.
Kuroka stood up and walked over to Issei so she was right in front of him.
'Then why don't you, nya?' Whispered Kuroka seductively, before her eyes widened slightly when Issei did just that and proceeded to ravish her mouth.
Kuroka mewled in enjoyment as she reciprocated the kiss, before Issei abruptly ended it getting her to pout.
'Uh, sorry about that, I've been going through some changes lately.' Commented Issei, as he scratched his cheek and looked away slightly.
'I thought you already went through puberty, nya.' Commented Kuroka.
'Actually, I'm still going through puberty, but that's not it. The seal your buddies planted on me a few years back was broken recently and it is kind of messing with me a little.' Explained Issei happily.
'Nya? Really?' Commented Kuroka in surprise.
'Yep, you can do it, just sense me.' Said Issei to which Kuroka obliged.
Kuroka closed her eyes as her tails waved lazily behind her, as a small glow started to take over her form. Issei waited with a smirk, but was surprised when Kuroka moaned loudly.
'Issei, your aura's gotten so much more addictive, I almost can't control myself when I feel it.' Commented Kuroka, as she opened her eyes, which were filled with lustful desire.
'Oh yeah that, that's Ophis' doing I suppose.' Explained Issei, getting Kuroka to look at him in slight shock.
'When did you see Ophis?' Questioned Kuroka somewhat serious.
'Ah, I thought Vali would have told you.' Said Issei surprised.
'He never tells me anything outside of fighting and even then, I don't really listen to him, nya.' Explained Kuroka, as she shrugged her shoulders, getting her chest to jiggle and attract Issei's gaze momentarily.
'Ah, I guess so, well, because that bloody seal was still on me, Kokabiel got lucky and I kind of went into Juggernaut Drive.' Began Issei, before Kuroka glared at him fiercely.
'Issei, why do you think it was a good idea to use Juggernaut Drive?' Questioned Kuroka, barely containing her anger.
'*sigh* I'm sorry, but it was my only option. Anyway, Kokabiel got a stray light spear in before I could completely crush him and he kind of obliterated one of my eyes… so Ophis gave me a new one which makes my dragon aura even stronger.' Finished Issei.
Kuroka continued to glare at Issei for a moment, before, once again, invading his personal space causing him to lean back.
'Idiot.' Chided Kuroka, as one of her tails struck Issei on the side of his head.
'It works out though, because of Ophis' eye, my life span wasn't shortened.' Explained Issei quickly.
'Issei, don't tell me you did this just so I would need to heal your life force, even if your life span wasn't shortened, the core of your life energy was damaged, nya.' Said Kuroka with a slightly exasperated expression, as she hugged Issei and enveloped him in her Ki.
Issei sighed deeply, feeling Kuroka's energy permeate his body, the feel of her Ki mingling with the energy inside his body relaxed him immensely, so much so that Issei started to lean on Kuroka. Kuroka, keeping a firm grip on Issei, stepped backwards to the bed and made it so Issei was lying down on his side with Kuroka facing him, still holding him in her embrace.
'Thank you, Kuroka.' Said Issei softly, as he closed his eyes in content.
'Issei, Issei, Issei what would you do without me, nya?' Muttered Kuroka happily, as she continued to heal Issei, her tails wrapping around Issei's waist, keeping him flush against her.
'Why do I put up with you, you're nothing but trouble.' Whispered Kuroka in mock exasperation.
'Because you want strong babies and Vali won't give you any.' Whispered Issei, as he smirked slightly.
'Nya, don't get cocky Issei, or I might just use the other method to heal you here and now, nya.' Teased Kuroka, as she stroked Issei's head softly.
'Heh, I can believe that, but give it time, I'll keep my promise eventually.' Replied Issei happily.
'You better and don't even think of dying before you give me at least nine kittens, nya.' Said Kuroka happily.
'Nine? Really?' Questioned Issei weakly.
'Don't make me make it ten, nya.' Warned Kuroka playfully.
'I'll give you as many as you want if you give me these.' Said Issei, as he nuzzled Kuroka's largely exposed chest.
'They were always yours, Ryuujin, nya?' Replied Kuroka warmly.
'You know, I can't believe I didn't recognise Shirone, she changed quite a bit since then.' Commented Issei, as he pulled his head away from the Nekoshou's ample bosom and opened his eyes.
'I-Is she happy?' Questioned Kuroka nervously.
'I suppose, although, I really think she would appreciate hearing the truth from her big sister.' Replied Issei softly, getting Kuroka to tense up slightly.
'You know she won't think poorly of you, she already knows a little, before you left, I told her a little about why you did what you did and she was understanding, she was mostly upset that you didn't take her with you.' Said Issei comfortingly.
'Issei, why couldn't I have met you earlier? You are the best thing that has ever happened to me after getting little Shirone for a sister.' Said Kuroka fondly.
'Well, as long as you stick around, with Ophis' eye, my Dragon Heart and your Senjutsu, we will be together for a while.' Pointed out Issei.
'So what am I, your little healing chamber, nya?' Accused Kuroka playfully.
'Nope, you are the best little doctor I will ever get, who I will one day give multiple offspring.' Replied Issei with a smile.
'I'm holding you to that you know, nya.' Warned Kuroka playfully.
'That's fine, but I'm going to take a nap now, the barrier will hold for at least another three hours, so wake me up before then.' Said Issei, before he once again rested his head on Kuroka's chest and fell asleep.

Sometime later, Issei awoke to find himself still wrapped in Kuroka's embrace, only now, Kuroka was sitting up and cradling his body against hers, with his head on her chest. Issei angled his head back to look at Kuroka and saw her smirk mischievously at him.
'You are such a tease, Kuroka.' Commented Issei affectionately.
'Nya, I'm not teasing though, if you tell me to strip and make kittens with you right now, I would do it, nya.' Retorted Kuroka seriously.
'Hmm, so wait, does that mean I'm the tease between the two of us?' Questioned Issei thoughtfully.
'Of course not, you are too innocent to tease me, nya.' Answered Kuroka with a smile.
'Hey, I could tease you if I wanted to.' Defended Issei weakly, which made Kuroka laugh.
'Issei, just you try and tease me and I'll tie you down and get started on restoring my race, nya.' Warned Kuroka playfully.
'Fine, fine, I'm not a tease, sheesh, can't ever get one over on you, can I.' Muttered Issei sourly.
'Aw, don't pout Issei, you look so cute when you do and I might lose control, nya.' Teased Kuroka.
Issei then sat up, which Kuroka allowed him to do, releasing him from her embrace.
'Thanks for that by the way, I feel much better now.' Thanked Issei sincerely.
'My pleasure, it is just lucky for you that I have such masterful control over Ki, for anyone else it would have taken more than a couple of hours to fix the damage you inflicted on yourself.' Said Kuroka seriously.
'Ok, I got it.' Said Issei, not missing the underlying message in Kuroka's words.
Kuroka smiled at this and quickly wrapped Issei up in a hug again.
'Nya, who's my good dragon?' Teased Kuroka playfully.
'Knock it off, I can't tease you, but I can always do other things.' Issei huffed, as he broke the embrace and stood up from the bed.
Kuroka would have retorted, but the barrier Issei had put up previously choose that moment to collapse.
'*sigh* and I was having so much fun.' Lamented Kuroka sadly.
'Don't worry, I'll fix things soon, so you won't need to hide anymore.' Said Issei reassuringly.
'Thanks Issei, I'll see you then, nya.' Said Kuroka, before creating a portal, which whisked her away.

Shortly after Kuroka left, Issei's parents, along with Raynare, Asia, Rias, and her father, along with the great Satan himself, Sirzechs, returned home. Xuelan and Karlamine were absent as they had elected to stay with Ravel for now and had semi-moved out of Issei's house. The odd group settled around the television and were watching recordings of their children.
'Ah, look at Rias, she answered the teachers question brilliantly.' Commented Rias' father, sitting next to Issei's own.
Issei had come down briefly and said hello, before beginning to head back upstairs.
'Ah, Issei, do you have a moment?' Requested Sirzechs.
'Yeah, sure, come with me.' Replied Issei, as the Super Devil left the room.
The duo of dragon and devil made their way upstairs to Issei's room, before Sirzechs entered with Issei, shutting the door behind him.
'Hmm, how interesting, I didn't know you could use Ki Issei.' Said Sirzechs knowingly, with his usual gentle smile.
'I can't, but you know that already, don't you? Soon Ki will be able to flow freely through here.' Stated Issei flatly.
'Well, I suppose we'll see soon, no?' Asked Sirzechs rhetorically.
Issei merely nodded.
'In any case Issei, I was wondering if you would be willing to do me a favour of sorts.' Begun Sirzechs.
Issei crossed his arms and frowned before sighing.
'I suppose I will have to at this stage, won't I, very well.' Said Issei, knowing that Sirzechs could easily corner him into agreeing.
'You see, my lovely sister possesses a bishop, no, I suppose that is wrong, she possesses two bishops, one of which is sealed.' Explained Sirzechs.
'And? What do you want from me?' Questioned Issei.
'Well, I would appreciate it if you could help him control his powers, he has a habit of freezing time unintentionally and he fears his power because of it.' Requested Sirzechs.
'Uh, you are aware that my magical prowess is not that vast, the stuff I know about devil magic is even less.' Said Issei.
Sirzechs nodded knowingly but continued.
'Yes, however, his power comes from a Sacred Gear, for this reason only very few people can withstand its power, Rias is not able to, but I believe you will be. While Rias has grown and I believe in time she will be able to deal with it herself, I believe that if you assist her now, it will be wholly beneficial for both her and her bishop.' Elaborated Sirzechs.
'*sigh* Honestly, this is one of the things I hate about you devils, so sneaky and greedy… fine, I'll take care of it, but you will need to do something for me as well, remember, I've already done you a favour before in saving Rias', and while I did take gleeful pleasure in educating her to not be so short-sighted, this was all done for you in the end, not to mention me training her.' Demanded Issei.
'Very well Issei, two favours, how does that sound?' Requested Sirzechs.
'Fine, although prepare for me to cash those in at the meeting.' Warned Issei.
'I already expected it, Ki may not be too rare to utilise, but Nekoshou are Issei, see you at the meeting.' Said Sirzechs, as he walked away from Issei and left him alone.
'Honestly, that girl is so much trouble, she just had to show up here.' Muttered Issei, before sighing and deciding to go to bed.
-line break-
Issei, Xenovia, and Raynare, along with Rias and the rest of her peerage, were standing outside a door with yellow tape spread across it, with the words "Keep out" written along it, along with a massive padlock wrapped around the door with steel chains.
'Uh, isn't this a bit excessive?' Asked Issei curiously.
'Well it may be a little… but my bishop's power is tremendous and if it were to break through it would cause trouble.' Replied Rias before raising her hand, causing a red Gremory seal to appear which shattered and along with it, the chains and tape along the door.
As Rias opened the door, Issei felt a heavily foreboding presence nudge his senses slightly, getting him to snarl faintly.
"Such dark power." Thought Issei.
Issei prepared for a demon, a behemoth, an absolute monster, so the high-pitched girlish scream he heard come from within the room surprised him.
'What was that?' Questioned Issei, as Rias and her peerage entered the room, with Issei, Xenovia and Raynare following behind.
The room appeared very girly, with pink and white wallpaper and soft toys arranged neatly on a shelf. In the centre of the room was a coffin with pink roses decorating the wood. Akeno opened the coffin and Issei was gobsmacked at what was revealed.
"This… was the source of that insanely dark energy… this feels so wrong." Commented Issei, as a very effeminate boy wearing the Kuoh girl's uniform was revealed. Aside from his pink eyes, his most distinctive trait were his pointed ears.
'Gasper, why don't we go outside?' Requested Rias kindly.
'Noooo, outside is scary, really scary.' Refused Gasper, as tears came to his eyes, and he shook his head.
'This is so… disturbing.' Muttered Issei.
'Really, this you find strange? You have no idea what some fallen angels get up to, you are much more innocent than I thought.' Commented Raynare haughtily, as she patted Issei's head.
"I didn't mean his appearance… I guess I'm the only one who can feel that dark power inside of him… although, his appearance isn't helping." Thought Issei, as he shrugged off Raynare's hand.
'This is Gasper Vladi, my bishop and a member of my household, before I reincarnated him, he was a half-human, half-vampire hybrid.' Said Rias, as she hugged the effeminate boy.
'A vampire? Of the few vampires I've slain, none of them were ever this timid.' Commented Xenovia bluntly.
'Uwahh, stay away holy person, so scary.' Whimpered Gasper, as he tried to hide in Rias' arms.
'Well, might as well get this over with, let's go Gasper.' Said Issei, as he walked over to Gasper and grabbed his arm.
Gasper screamed in panic and his eyes flashed, causing the room to freeze, as Gasper tried to escape Issei's grip and run away, he found that he couldn't.
'Hey, that wasn't very nice you know.' Commented Issei, as he looked around and saw everyone else in the room frozen.
'N-no way, you aren't frozen.' Muttered Gasper, with a shocked look in his eyes.
'Well, Sirzechs did ask me to help you in exchange for a favour and if I couldn't withstand your powers, I wouldn't be much help, would I?' Said Issei rhetorically.
'B-but aren't you afraid I froze everyone?' Questioned Gasper fearfully.
'Nah, of course not, in fact, it's really cool that you can freeze time, just look at what I could do if I could freeze time.' Said Issei, as momentarily let Gasper go and walked over to Raynare and opened her shirt up and pulled down her bra.
"Heh innocent, yeah right." Thought Issei with a smirk, as he walked back to Gasper.
'See, how cool is that? You can freeze people and do whatever you want.' Said Issei cheerfully, ignoring the implications of that statement.
'B-but, I can't control it and I freeze people all the time by accident, so they get scared of me.' Whimpered Gasper.
'Well that's true, but if you could control it, just think about how much you could help people? I mean if someone was going to get hit by a car, you could freeze time and move them out of the way and save their life. You'd be a hero.' Explained Issei.
'Uh, but it is so hard to control it, it just happens whenever I get scared, and I'm so scared all the time.' Said Gasper, before Issei picked him up and carried him over his shoulder.
'Uwah what are you doing?' Asked Gasper nervously.
'I'm going to make a man out of you. Let's go Gasper.' Said Issei, as he carried a struggling half-vampire out of the room.
Eventually the room unfroze, and Rias blinked in surprise at seeing Issei and Gasper gone.
'Uh what just happened?' Asked Rias, before looking back at everyone and noticed Raynare's breasts were revealed.
'Heh, Issei no doubt.' Commented Raynare, as she fixed her clothes.
'Damn pervert is too proud to take a joke.' Muttered Raynare.
'You know, one would think you would realise your teasing usually gets you in trouble… I mean, you remember how things were like for you in the beginning.' Commented Rias in amusement.
'Eh, what can I say, until he actually lets me screw his brains out, this is the best I can do.' Said Raynare with a shrug.
'Um, Raynare, why do you want to put screws in Issei's brain?' Questioned Asia innocently.
'Well, you see Asia.' Begun Raynare, before a dodge ball came flying from outside and hit Raynare in the back of her head.
Raynare clutched at her head with her left hand, as the ball rolled in front of her. Written on the ball in black marker was the word, "No" with a drawing of the Boosted Gear under it.
'How the hell did he do that?' Shouted Raynare in annoyance.
'Ara, I thought you would like Issei hitting you with balls to your head.' Commented Akeno crudely, before a ball magically struck her from nowhere as well.
Like previously, the ball had words written on it, in this case, the words, "Stop it", once again accompanied with a drawing of the Boosted Gear.
'How is he doing that?' Questioned Rias, before a ball hit her in the face, before dropping to the floor.
"Because I'm awesome" was written along the ball.
'I'm getting a bad feeling.' Said Rias, before a ball rolled into the room, once again bearing a message.
'Crap.' Commented Raynare, as she read the words on the ball.
"Dodge!"
Hope you all enjoyed the chapter. That being said, I have a few things to say about the recent season of DxD so, prepare for another edition of Kyuubi's corner.
Ok, my first grievance with the season wasn't anything major believe it or not, overall, the season itself as a whole is easily a 7/10, good but not great. Some of the main problems are the fact that they mashed 3 LNs into 1 and absolutely butchered a lot of stuff. I honestly wonder what the writers are thinking some of the time. I mean, I loved that they brought Raynare in occasionally, but having Rias snap Issei out of Juggernaut Drive is a joke. I mean, the Oppai Dragon song was technically a joke as well, considering it was humorous, but having Rias being the one to snap Issei out of it is weak and clearly panders to the fact that Rias is main girl. I mean, if they wanted to make things unique, they could have had Asia snap him out of it, which makes more sense, considering she was the reason he snapped and that she has a high affinity for dragons, (LN readers will get what I mean) but instead, they went for Issei/Rias… and the fact that she entered his mind naked almost made me face-palm.
The second grievance leads off the first, the whole point of the mash-up was to bring Rossweisse in, as I think someone on the team over there really loves her… but then they do nothing with her. WTF MAN! I mean if you are going to butcher 3 LNs to bring in a later character, at least use them. Not to mention the fact that they made her appear to be a whiny, can't-get-a-boyfriend, cry-baby. I mean, in one of the more recent LNs, Rossweisse is an absolute beast, the things she knows and is capable of… well not to spoil anything, but it is godly. Honestly, they really didn't do Rossweisse's character any favours this season, which is why I'm glad that if they do make season 4, they will go back to the 2 LN - 12-episode system, which worked perfectly for the first 4 LNs.
The third grievance isn't really any one thing, but rather, it is lots of little things. I mean, Akeno meeting her father early really annoyed me, as it took one of the most significant moments of Akeno's past and made it nothing. Not to mention how Koneko using her powers like that really underplayed how much Issei helped her in the LN. Once again, Rossweisse doing almost nothing the whole season also comes to mind. However, one thing that really irked me was giving Rias a pseudo Scale Mail. Seriously? That was so weak, I mean, it was cool seeing a female boosted gear version, I'm undoubtedly sure many people who write fem-Issei stories, or merely female BG user stories would love it, but it cheapens the BG itself. Besides, I can't see Elsha having something like that… the original BG is awesome, and I really hope Rias' fan-service version doesn't make a reappearance.
However, my biggest problem, was the last episode. It is bad enough that they smashed 3 LNs together and that the dub, not that I watch it, has already ruined this, but having Issei confront "the massive issue" which was essentially, all of LN 10, was a huge kick in the gut. Having him so casually deal with that, once again, undermined a massive plot point. However, the straw that broke the camel's back for me, (how could a straw break a camel's back anyway?) was that they had him FORGET! Seriously, to go to all that trouble and then have him forget… the thing is, they really can't stick to the LN anymore, especially since anime Rias heard it and remembered it, therefore, if she mirrors her LN counterpart's actions now, she will look like a huge egotistical and self-absorbed female dog (you know what I mean).
All in all, the anime developers dug themselves into a massive hole this season and that is what makes me somewhat hesitant to think that season 4 will happen. I mean, the demand is there, people will keep buying DxD stuff, but if they do make season 4, they really should try and stick to the LNs (not like they can in some cases anymore) and hopefully the mistakes they made in season 3 will be overlooked.
