The Queen and her nephew were left in the dust. Wondering what on earth was happening. her royal guards tried to tell her that they should go someplace safer when suddenly a purple car flew over and landed on the podium! Immediately, cops and guards pulled out guns and aimed them at the car! The doors opened. Mater and Lightning stepped out of the car. The Queen lit up in saying, "It's Lightning McQueen!" The men seemed to calm down and lower their guns. Lightning tried to assure the men that "No, no, no! It's okay! Ju-just-Tell them Mater. Explain." Mater nodded and took the floor saying, "Okay. Someone's been sabotaging the races and hurting the cars, and I know who. Oh, wait!" Mater jumped. "Your majesty." He then bowed down, but that flash of his shirt at the moment he went down revealed the bomb!
Everyone gasped! The guard pulled out their gun and pointed them at Mater and Lightning! "Get down! Get down now!" Shouted one! Mater and Lightning looked at the guards. This was bad. SO many guns pointed at them. "Put your hands up!" Shouted another. Lightning put his hands up above his head. Mater looked at Lightning with confusion. Lightning slowly looked at Mater and said "Do as he says, Mater.." "But"-"Not the time to argue! Put your hands up, Mater!" Lightning shouted. His shout frightened a guard, so he pointed his gun to Lightning. Lightning swallowed nervously.
This was bad, This was bad! Mater raised his hands then the guard yelled "Get on your knees! Slowly!" Lightning slowly knelt. One knee then the other. Mater did the same. "Put your hands on the back of your head!" The guard ordered firmly! Lightning did so slowly. Mater did right after. A few guards stepped a bit closer. Still pointing the guns at the racer and so-called spy with a bomb strapped to him. Some people around them ran! Cameras flashed, taking photos of the event happening as it would make for a killer story!
Suddenly Finn and Holey rushed over! Finn bolted in between the cops and Mater and Lightning and shouted "Hold your fire! He can't disarm it! Mater! I don't know what you're doing, but stand down now!" Suddenly the bomb squad and more cops arrived, including team 95 as they saw the event on the tv happening! Sally jumped out of the armored truck and ran up to the barricade and shouted "Lightning!" Lightning glanced back, but his sudden movements made a guard aim directly at him and yell "Get down on the ground! Lay flat on the ground!" Lightning quickly did as the man said and pleaded! "Please! We had nothing to do with this! We don't mean anyone any harm!" The man walked over, closer and slowly. Still holding the gun to Lightning. Sally began to cry in fear. She would have run and put herself between the men with guns and Lightning had Flo not ran up and stopped her!
A man came closer and closer to Mater slowly as well while the other grabbed Lightning's wrist and began to put cuffs on Lightning. He cuffed the racer and pulled him up onto his knees. Mater glanced over at his friend, Lightning, and shouted, "This ain't nothin at all like back home!" Lightning only pleaded, "Mater, just cut to the chase.." Lightning had tears in his eyes because at this moment he knew one of two things were about to happen. He'd be blown up along with Mater and this bomb and along with all these other people, or he was going to somehow survive and be arrested for an attempt of murder of the Queen! Or a third, what if one of these guards shot them!? HE was a dead man either way! Not even his amazing future wife of an attorney could get him and Mater out of this one! Mater stood up slowly, guns pointed at him and all, and announced, "It was him!" Pointing to Miles Axelrod.
Everyone stared in shock. Lightning gave up right there. He just knew that Axelrod was not the culprit and that Mater had gotten it wrong. He was going to die or spend the rest of his life in jail! He cried a little. His eyes leaked tears down the cheeks of his face. He glanced behind at Sally. She was petrified, traumatized! Mater continued to explain though. "I figured it out when I realized you attached this ticking time bomb with special bolts. The same bolts used to hold together that old engine in your new clean energy car that leaks oil. The oil marks we found in Paris." Miles rolled his eyes and corrected "Electric cars don't use oil, you twit." Mater walked closer to Miles and accused, "Then your fakin. We pop that hood over there and we're gonna see the old engine from the photograph." Mater said, pointing to Miles' rover. Everyone glanced at it in shock.
"Holley! Show us that picture!" Mater ordered. Holley blinked a few times with surprise, but stepped forward, flashing her badge as she walked up and showed the holographic image. Mater continued, "And then when one of your companions told the other not to shoot my friend here because his death had to be ruled as caused by Allinol." Miles only growled back with "What is he talking about? Allinol is safe!" Mater came up closer to Miles and continued, "It was you from the beginning. You set up the entire race to get attention, you wanted to hurt the race cars, but when McQueen chose to use Allinol, you had to take drastic measures."
Miles griped back with "This lory's crazy! He's gonna kill us all!' Miles shouted as he back away from Mater as far as he could! Mater just stepped up closer, face to face with the man. "Stay away!" Shouted Axelrod. Holley then tried to reason, "But Sir Axelrod created the race, Mater... Why would he want to hurt anyone?" "To make Allinol look bad so everyone would go back to usin oil. I mean he said it himself with that disguised voice." he explained. Miles panicked, "Disguised voice!? What are you talking about!? You're nuts you are!" Finn then added in with, "Mater, he created Allinol." Mater nodded, "Yeah, but what if he found that huge oil field just as the world was trying to find something else? What if he came up with Allinol just to make alternative fuel look bad?"
Miles only snapped! "WHAT IF!? You're basing all this on a what-if!?" Which did seem crazy! The guards had enough and evacuated the Queen and her company now. Leaving Mater, the spies, Miles, Lightning in cuffs, and a few guards near the bomb that was about to explode. The guards shielded themselves and prepared for the explosion. Cops and other guards pushed people back, further away! Sally screamed "No! Lightning! Please no! Please let him go!" No good though. Flo yanked Sally back in preparation for the bomb! The sheriff ran to them and shielded them as well.
Miles yelped for help, "Somebody save me! The lory's crazy! Keep away, you idiot!" Finn even called, "Mater!..." Holley panicked and reached for Mater as Finn grabbed her ducked down! Miles yelled, "Someone do something!" But all anyone did was prepare for the coming explosion as it was too late to stop it! "You're insane you are!" Miles yelled, then-

The bomb was.. Dis-armed. The guards lowered their weapons and shields. Fin let go of Holley who ran and hugged Mater! Regretting that she ever doubted him! Sally stared at Lightning. The Queen quickly ordered her men to "Release him. He has done nothing wrong!" The guard questioned a bit with "But.. Your Majesty"-"Release him." The man sighed then knelt and uncuffed Lightning.
Sally ran through the crowd of guards and shields and ran to Lightning! Jumping to him and knocking them both down on the floor! "Good morning everyone and thanks for tuning in. I'm Adele Benz, here with race car driver and survivor of the World Grand Prix bombing incident, Lightning McQueen. Alongside his teammate and friend Mater. Hi Lightning, how are you doing since the events of last week?" asked the woman as she sat in the large and comfortable chair. Lightning sighed, "I'm alright. It's.. It's an experience I wish I could forget honestly." "I'll bet. And this is Mater? The man who well.. Save your life and many others, correct?" Lightning nodded.
Mater smiled, "Aw, it ain't nothin. I always look out for my friends. And McQueen here is my best friend!" Adele smiled and replied. "Of course. You must have been scared though Mater." "Me? Scared? Shoot no. I was just doin my job." "I see. So you are not only a part of Lightning McQueen's crew but a spy?" Asked the hostess. Mater sighed with, "Well.. I can't give you any details into that there Mam. But if I were a spy, I might not even be here." Adele raised a brow then looked at Lightning and asked "How is your fiance' through all of this? I mean... You almost died!"
Lightning leaned back into the couch seat next to Mater before answering, "Well, we're.. We have been hurt a lot by all of this. I was supposed to just come here and race and then go home and then.. Suddenly this crazy person wants to kill me. He.. He threatened my fiance' and it's traumatizing, you know? It's been keeping us both up at night and it's taken its toll on us, on our everyday life. Lightning and Mater returned to their motel there in England. The Queen was throwing a ceremony for Mater and knighting him, throwing a huge ball in his honor. Anything for you.." They stood there a moment. Then Sally opened the room door and grabbed Lightning, hugging him closely. "You took too long.." She whimpered. She was especially clingy after what had happened.
Lightning wrapped his arms around Sally, kissing the top of her head. Mater smiled somewhat. Glad they were together and safe. "Congratulations on the engagement again you two," Mater said. Mater smiled warmly then hugged Sally gently before walking into his room. "See you two tomorrow at the party." He said. Lightning snickered replying, "See you there Mater. Remember to wear a suit." "Oh, yea! I want to look nice for Holley." He then shut his door. The couple then walking into their room, closing the door quietly. Sally and Lightning embraced each other. Cradling each other in silence in the room. Both thankful to have survived! Thankful they still had each other...
That night, Lightning sat up in bed. Sitting next to Sally who seems to be asleep. For now, She had been having nightmares ever since what had happened. Lightning was having a hard time sleeping too. The cameras flashed from a corner and Lighting quickly became distracted with the fame and attention of it. Sally decided to go grab a drink from the tables. She walked over to a punch bowl when a server fixed it for her and handed the glass to her. Sally sniffed the juice then asked "Is there alcohol in this?' The server shook his head. The Francesco walked up. Sally noticed. He looked good in a dark red suit. "You look very nice." Complimented the Italian.

Lightning stopped, tossing the paper into the trash then reaching over and loosening the belt before taking it and putting it back on and through the loops of his pants. Sally let out a deep sigh. She grabbed Lightning's jacket and handed it to him. He slipped it on then began to button up his shirt. Tucking it back into his pants before asking, "Was that good?" "Yes, of course," Sally answered. She looked around the floor of the stall. "Do you see my panties?" She asked.

She opened the stall and stepped out to see three women. Two younger, one older standing against the wall near the door of the restroom as if they were waiting for an empty stall. "Uh.. Stickers..." She called softly. Lightning darted his head out the door then saw the women's snap they saw him. They looked like they overheard a lot of that. Lightning faked a smile and stepped out. Nervously saying, "How um.. Good evening." They just stared. Smiling and all giddy like. One even had a pair of panties, Sally's panties. Holding it barely with two of her fingers and away from her body as if she thought it had cooties. Sally covered her face and rushed out the door next to the women.
Lightning walked by and took the panties saying, "Ladies..." before following Sally out and putting her panties into his pocket for safekeeping. Lightning rushed to Sally's side.
