A/n: I have a couple of reviews to answer…

Zarroc: Thanks for the review. Your assumption was a good guess, but I really do not know what it going to happen so it is a mystery to me as well. I will know in a couple more chapters. I have five chapters written already I just only post once a week. It is like my unspoken rule.

Joan Marie Mesi: I know I know. My story is so cliché, but I couldn't help it. The plot grabbed me and sucked me in so I couldn't help but write it this way. You may be wrong though I might have a little plot twist, but I have not decided it I want the whole Ron and Hermione together thing to happen so soon. I might have to make them go through a lot of unwelcome and vigorous conversations that make them have realizations about each other. Just wait and see… oh and I was glad to get your review. They are always fun to read.

hottiegrl: I don't know.. my mind works in evil ways so you will just have to wait and see… muah hahahah! Jk… lol.. umm like I said in one of my other responses I don't even know what happens yet, because I have only written five chapters and I cannot plan chapters… It never works out. It just happens according to what mood I am in so you better hope I am in a good one! )

Tears from blue eyes: I really do not know how to respond to your review, but I have an idea worked up in my head that will make you so happy. After reading your review it came to me and I think you will like it, but just wait and see, because it won't happen until later chapter. Oh and I am so happy to hear that you liked my prequel to this story! Keep reviewing and maybe next time after reading your review I will get another spontaneous and beautiful idea! Ha!

Chapter Two

Hermione was sitting in a big light brown lounge chair, where the streetlight shown into the window that was overlooking a dark alleyway, when she heard a knock on her apartment door. She waltzed through the living expecting it to be one of her idiotic neighbors wanting her to help them get into their apartment that they had locked themselves out of. It was a regular occurrence in her apartment building, which was filled with either really old people or young college students and single parents. It astounded Hermione at how many times that these people had locked themselves out of their apartments. She thought common sense came equipped in the human brain, but apparently she was wrong.

She quickly unlocked her door and yanked it open to see a red headed Ronald Weasley standing in front of her door. She was absolutely flabbergasted.

"What do you want," she sneered viciously.

"I thought that answer was particularly obvious, but I guess my many poorly attempted tries at doing this apology thing go unnoticed by you," he replied.

"You know what Ronald? I do not have to talk to you nor accept your dimwitted apologies. You are an adulterous bastard that neither deserves my affection or my time. Goodnight sir."

Hermione started to slam the door, but Ron blocked it with his hand and pushed it back open.

"What are you doing Ron? This is my apartment and I can do as I wish now get out of the way before I shut the door in your face."

Ron did as told and moved out of the way, he moved inside her apartment.

"Hermione, just please listen to me. Please?"

"No, just get out," Hermione said while tears where swelling in her eyes. Ron couldn't stand to see her like this, but he also wanted to explain to her what had happened. He determined that his explanation and greatly unappreciated apologies would have to wait. He left.

When Ron left Hermione went into her bedroom and grabbed her journal, which contained poems and songs about the people she cared about most. She flipped through it until she found the song that she had written when she was still with Ron.

Lost In Love

I realize the best part of love is the thinnest slice
And it don't count for much

But I'm not letting go
I believe there's still much to believe in

The tears were now welling at her eyes. She didn't know what was holding her back from moving on, but she knew she would not be moving on anytime soon. She was still there….

So lift your eyes if you feel you can
Reach for a star and I'll show you a plan
I figured it out
What I needed was someone to show me

…she had now realized that she still remained lost in his heart without a map or a clue as how to get away. Now she knew that she couldn't get over Ron with closure or even a simple counselors advice.

You know you can't fool me
I've been loving you too long
It started so easy
You want to carry on

The only thing now that would save her from Ronald Weasley was facing him and hearing his side of the story. Perhaps she was wrong? But the proof had been right in front of her. But maybe there was a slight chance that Ron wasn't Ron then…

Lost in love and I don't know much
Was I thinking aloud and fell out of touch?
But I'm back on my feet and eager to be what you wanted

… maybe he wasn't thinking clearly or maybe she had done something wrong? She didn't know, but she now knew a lot of things. She had now opened her eyes to new possibilities. The possibility that Ron could have been under a spell that was cast by someone who perhaps did not want them to be together.

So lift your eyes if you feel you can
Reach for a star and I'll show you a plan
I figured it out
What I needed was someone to show me

The tears were now pouring out of eyes… she didn't know whether it was because she was still upset or because it took her that long to figure out that maybe she was wrong. But she could still be wrong… she would just have to talk to Ron…

You know you can't fool me
I've been loving you too long
It started so easy
You want to carry on

Lost in love and I don't know much
Was I thinking aloud and fell out of touch?
But I'm back on my feet and eager to be what you wanted

So lift your eyes if you feel you can
Reach for a star and I'll show you a plan
I figured it out
What I needed was someone to show me

You know you can't fool me
I've been loving you too long
It started so easy
You want to carry on

I'm lost, lost in love, lost in love, lost in love
Now I'm lost, lost in love, lost in love, lost in love
Lost in love, lost in love, lost in love
Lost in love, lost in love, lost in love

Hermione had now placed herself back in the big brown recliner. She now decided it was time to get over herself and talk to Ron… but when? The idea that maybe Ron didn't cheat on her had now slipped away. She knew it was impossible… or was it? Only time would tell for Hermione Granger. In the meantime she knew until she talked to Ron she would remain lost.

OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO

Ron was on the verge of insanity. He was racking his mind out thinking of ways to explain to Hermione what had happened. Unlike Hermione he had realized that getting over Hermione would require some talking. Talking. Talking to her, even if she didn't want to. Ron had an explanation as to what had happened that night, because until he woke up and saw Hermione and blond hair with a face on his chest he didn't know what had happened. He remembered going to the Leaky Cauldron to meet someone, but he didn't remember anything between stepping into the pub and waking up with a cheap blond on his chest. His bare chest. After going to Saint Mungo's to see if he had ingested any type of potions and countless meetings with Dumbledore he knew what had happened that night. Hermione never gave him a chance to explain…

A/N: By the way… the song is by Air Supply.. like I wrote something like that… pah-lease!
