A/N: Thanks for the reviews… I guess I should answer them! )
Tears from blue eyes: Thanks! The song is old so I didn't really think anyone would have heard it before, but it is an amazing song. I love it! I should have given it credit though… I will do that this chapter. Thanks for the review and please keep reviewing.
Zarroc: Umm… every ½ of a week? I dunno… I am only getting like three reviews per chapter so I don't really feel completely obligated to update but once a week.
Joan Marie Mesi: Lol… I am sad to tell you that this chapter isn't going to be about Ron or Hermione at all… It will be about Ginny and Harry and I think the chapter after this one is just about them also. I guess you are just going to have to wait! KEEP REVIEWING!
HerFathersJoyOkay… okay… okay… Simmer Down! Lol just joking!
Chapter Three
Ginny sat up in her bed and observed the room around her. Everything was in place except the one thing or person she was looking for, Harry. Every morning so far that week she would wake up to an empty bed and Harry no where to be found.
'Oh well,' thought Ginny. The room around her was snow white with worn-out furniture. Ginny didn't particularly like the room, but her and Harry would be moving soon anyhow, because after they got married they really couldn't live with her parents nor did they really want to. Ginny's parents were already uncomfortable about them sharing a room together how would they feel when Harry and Ginny decided to have children? Or something else along those lines?
Soon Ginny got out of bed and went downstairs to find that no one else was home except for her. Her father had of course gone to work and her mother went to do some shopping. Ginny would have gone to work that morning except she was sick and her mother insisted she stay home. Ginny really hated being home with her mother. Every sentence was some how revolved around her and Harry's wedding. Her mum did not understand that this was Ginny and Harry's thing; she thought she should be included in every little detail. Ginny had given her the whole rehearsal dinner to plan, but apparently that wasn't enough. Ginny finally relented and decided that her mother could help with small things like cake or dresses that didn't include Ginny's.
Ginny knew her mother meant well, but Ginny had to agree with Hermione she was like the 'Wedding Nazi'. Of course Ginny didn't really know what the whole Nazi thing meant besides that they were involved a muggle ordeal that happened about seventy years ago and that it was basically a conspiracy against one type of people because they were different than the other. Ginny related it to the current situation in the wizarding world. The wizards that weren't purebloods were hated by purebloods just like the German's hated people called Jews. Once again, Ginny didn't really understand, but thought the 'Wedding Nazi' was a good name for her mother at this current situation in time. Ginny's mother knew all, saw all, and was all.
'She is the we of me,' Ginny thought picturing her mother on the day of her wedding. Telling everyone were their places were and how the 'show' should run.
OOOOOOOOO
The day was pretty productive for Ginny aside from the fact that her mother had soon come home and insisted she go to bed.
'This is absurd,' Ginny thought,' I am twenty-two years old, I think I am quite capable of taking care of myself.'
"You know what mum? Harry said that I could swing by his office today," Ginny grieved, just wanted to get away from her mothers attempts to restrain her.
"But honey your sick and you shouldn't be going to somebody's office and getting all of the employees sick so go to bed NOW."
Ginny couldn't believe it. She thought that someday they would let go and stop running her life, but no this charade would continue until she was sixty. Ginny moseyed up to her room and went to sleep like her mother demanded of her.
When she awoke it was to Harry kissing her forehead and telling her something about going out of town. When Ginny heard the words United States she jumped up," United States. That is far away. For how long?"
"About three weeks. I could get out of it if you want?" He mused.
"No, no. Three weeks is a really long time, but I will manage. If you come back and my mother is dead and I am locked up in Azkaban awaiting a Dementor's Kiss… you will know why."
Harry chuckled," I know three weeks is a really long time, but if you would go find a house when you are better the quicker we can get out of here. And, I wouldn't be going to the U.S. if my job didn't absolutely depend on it."
Harry was an Auror in the Ministry of Magic. It was a rather time consuming job, but he promised that as soon as they got married he would try and work less. Maybe he would get a new job…
Harry really did want a new job, he wanted to be able to spend more time with his wife to be, but that wouldn't be physically possible until after the wedding. Ginny was already back asleep when Harry gazed at her again. Her crimson hair was strewn about her pillow and the sheets were wrapped around her like a corset.
OOOOOOOOOOOOO
Harry made his way quietly down the stairs the next morning so that he would not disturb any other sleepers. Harry learned from Ginny and Ron that the Weasley's were not great morning people. Ron was worse than Ginny though. He made it to work in a hurry that morning. He quickly settled down and began to work. Before he knew it, it was time for him to meet Ron for lunch. Ron wanted to talk about something that had happened between him and Hermione. Harry had been holding it off for weeks, but decided he should probably talk to him sometime before her went out of town. So there he was… holding a table at the Leaky Caldron and awaiting his best mate.
A/N: There is chapter three and yes I know it is particularly short and pretty lame. But basically this chapter was just briefing you on what had been happening in Harry and Ginny's lives. The next chapter will be up soon… please read and review.
