A/N: No reviews last chapter, but I decided that I don't care. This isn't my whole life, but then again life ain't what ya say… Well I have to go to Tennessee later tonight, which is why this is a short chapter.

Chapter Fourteen

Two months later…

Hermione sat on the park bench in front of the small majestic waterfall just listening to the trickling water while thinking. It was barely spring, yet the flowers were at full bloom, the tulips seemed to be buzzing with energy. The daisies were fringed with brown from the deluge that had taken place only hours before. The grass was green with water droplets making each strand glow from the reflection of the sun. Nearby children were playing in the whining brook splashing water onto one another, their parents nearby smiling at their children, their smiles seemed to tell stories of distant childhood pleasures they once experienced themselves. Nearby dogs were barking and wrestling one another inside the designated fenced area, trampling the grass into the soft mud, their owners watching from afar probably thinking along the lines of how they would get their dogs clean.

Hermione suddenly remembered Blitz was at her side eagerly waiting to play with the other puppies. Hermione stood on impulse and took Blitz over to the other dogs and let him in the gate allowing him to run and frolic around with the other puppies. Soon Blitz's nose was splashed with mud and his soft black fur was matted with mud. Hermione shrugged it off and let him continue to play while she went to a nearby bench to keep her eye on him. He wasn't exactly a small dog… he was six months old and practically seventy pounds.

Hermione had come to the park to get away. She needed to think. She needed to think about things by herself. As Blitz romped around in the mud with the other dogs she began to think of how she could possibly tell Ron that she was pregnant…

(From here and down is new…)

That's right… pregnant. The whole thing seemed nearly absurd. Of course at first she didn't believe it herself, but then again magic doesn't lie now does it? Even if it did Hermione knew she was indeed pregnant. About one and a half months to be exact. There she sat watching Blitz play mischievously. He honestly wasn't much of a Giant Schnauzer… he didn't look like one at that moment. He had the floppy ears instead of the cropped pointed ears like Dobermans and Boxers have. He needed desperately to be groomed. He had never been groomed before and he was six months. Hermione wouldn't lie, she and Ron were very lax when it came to Blitz, but he was happy and healthy.

Hermione sat at the park for about ten more minutes before deciding she would tell Ron about her pregnancy that night… hopefully, but before she went home she stopped at the local groomers and set Blitz an appointment for tomorrow morning at 9:45 am. The woman at the desk told her he would probably take the whole morning. Hermione smiled at her and told her that was no problem and that she would come by at eleven or twelve and get him.

Blitz practically walked Hermione home, pulling her the whole way.

OOOOOOO

Ginny stared aimlessly at the returned wedding invitations. Most of the people she and Harry had invited were coming, and bringing guests. The wedding was of course one month away, but still there was lots to be done. Bridesmaids needed to be fitted into their dresses and groomsmen needed their tuxes. All this reminded Ginny that tomorrow she was taking Hermione, her maid of honor, to get their dresses fitted. Ginny had already picked out a traditional muggle wedding dress. She and Harry after all were having a muggle wedding due to many reasons that shall not be elaborated on.

Ginny slept peacefully that night with nothing on her mind, except when she was awoken by a distraught Hermione who was whining incoherent sentence fragments and waving her arms in the air. The whole thing took Ginny by surprise, and Harry was sitting upright his eyes wide with sheer shock and fear. Ginny suddenly got up and went over to the screeching Hermione.

"Hermione calm down. Please we can't help you if you don't calm down," Ginny soothed her friend.

"Blimey, 'Mione, only dogs can understand you now," Harry said groggily shoving his glasses on and approaching his hysterical friend. Hermione rapidly calmed herself down.

"Okay," Ginny said soothingly," what happened?"

"Ron and I had a fight," Hermione wheezed between breaths, as Harry tried to stifle his sniggers in the background.

"Hermione… all couples have fights. With Harry and I its on and off and on and off and on and off."

"I know," Hermione gasped," But this one was different."

"How?" Ginny said impatiently really just wanting to go back to bed.

"He, he, he" Hermione sputtered before continuing," he didn't care."

"About what?" Harry exclaimed.

"Itoldhim I waspregnent and hedintcare," Hermione said quickly tears streaming down her face.

"Could you slow down, and repeat yourself," Ginny said.

"I told him that I was pregnant and he didn't care," Hermione stated hyperventilating ever so slightly.

"I'm sure that's not… wait a second did you say pregnant? YOUR PREGNANT AND YOU DIDN'T TELL ME!" Ginny exclaimed.

"Yeah, but that's not the point."

"Oh right. You know Hermione I am sure he cares. I know Ron, and I know that he would be ecstatic about having a baby. Are you sure you didn't give him time to respond?"

"I told him I was pregnant then he just stared at me so I apparated. I was so ashamed and embarassed. So here I am."

"Hermione, you didn't give him enough time to respond dumbo," Harry said childishly, Ginny slapped his arm.

"I-i-I want to stay here. I hate him." Hermione muttered. Harry and Ginny were awestruck and understood that pregnant Hermione was nothing like the sensible Hermione they once knew. She was an emotional wreck, and at that moment in time the most important thing was her and the baby's health. That's the way Ron would want it to be.

"Okay," Ginny said," You can sleep on the bed, Harry and I will sleep on the floor.

"We will?" Harry said dumbly.

"Yes," Ginny yanked him off the bed. And as Hermione cried herself to sleep Ginny wondered if Ron was worried about her. Surly Ron was excited. This is Ron we are talking about. Harry was also finding it hard to believe Hermione's words. He knew Ron and the Ron he knew would be supportive, he was loving and Harry knew like Ginny did that Ron would be excited about a baby, especially his own.
