A/N: Hey, I have a tiny question… does it matter to you guys that this story has gotten completely off topic from the summary? If it does let me know and I will try and end this story… and make another sequel… ( I don't know what it is called when you make a sequel to a sequel… hehe.. I am clueless…) If you don't mind then I just continue this story… until… until… I don't know… until you guys tell me to stop.

I have been lazy with reviews, but there are responses to your chapter nine, ten, and eleven reviews at the end of the chappy.

Chapter Sixteen

Hermione awoke the next morning to Ginny shaking her awake. Hermione opened her eyes slowly… not wanting to get up, but Ginny had tears streaming down her face, and Harry was in the background quickly throwing some clothes on.

"What going on Gin?" Hermione asked incredulously.

"its mum... she's in the hospital," Ginny started to shake before saying," we have to go… Ron is already at St. Mungo's."

Hermione didn't say anything, she just flew out of bed, and apparated with Ginny and Harry to the hospital. They rushed up at least five flights of stairs, before finally getting to Mrs. Weasley's floor.

Harry approached the information desk and quickly asked," Where is Mrs. Weasley located?"

"128B," the Healer said quickly… her voice tainted with utter despair.

The three quickly ran down the hallway searching frantically for room 128B…

"There is 128A… but where is B? It should be right here," Hermione said… very confused.

"They have sealed the door, Hermione," Ginny wheezed," It means they are performing an operation… so they have sealed the room temporarily, so we can't get in."

Suddenly they saw Ron walking down the hallway, he smiled dully when he looked up and saw them. It was a fake smile. Once he reached them he gave Ginny a quick hug and clapped Harry on the back. He turned to Hermione and gave her a tight embrace. Hermione knew he was scared and suddenly all her anger was dropped into a pool of forgiveness.

They suddenly heard a loud buzzing noise, and turned around to see a door forming in the wall. It had 128B written on it in dark letters. There was a swooshing sound as the wall completely transformed into the door.

Ginny pulled the door open and took a step inside, when a Healer stepped in front of her and shook his head pushing her back out the door. Quickly and without much thought the Healer explained the situation.

"Mrs. Weasley is suffering from many problems at the moment. We have done all we can do and we think you should seek out a muggle diagnostician. They may be better prepared for dealing with these kinds of health problems. I have a recommendation though, if you are interested?"

"I don't understand," Hermione said," magical Healers are supposed to be more skilled in medical attention than muggles. Why would she need a muggle doctor?"

"You see… magical healing hasn't advanced like muggle healing has. They have tests and machines. We really aren't going to be able to treat Mrs. Weasley in a way that will cure her. Muggle doctors can." He said sympathetically, and a little ashamed that his career had been misconstrued. Just because they are magical doesn't necessarily better than muggle doctors.

"Well… okay. I don't quite get it, but alright. So who was that doctor again?"

"Helen Marcus, but that's not all. Mrs. Weasley wants you to be her medical proxy..."

"M-me?" Hermione shuddered, a little shocked and really not believing what she was hearing.

"Yes, you are Ms. Hermione Granger are you not?"

Hermione nodded her head and slowly sank down into a nearby couch. Sure she had studies muggle medicine, but was she capable of making decisions for someone in her current state? Her new emotional tendencies and all.

"Medical proxy?" Harry asked dumbly.

"She wants me to make her medical decisions for her," Hermione said wide eyed.

"That's okay Hermione. You parents home schooled you and you went to muggle college. I mean you will be great. Don't worry about anything else. You are smart and beautiful.. you know what you are doing, and we don't." Ron said smiling at her and quickly embracing her in a hug.

"She wants me to be her medical proxy…" she whispered once more.
