"So, what's the plan now?" Bulma asked, watching Trunks and Miyuki.

"I'm not really sure yet. Maybe I'll drop this stuff off at home, get her crib set up, and go from there. I suppose I have to take Miyuki and get her clothes, some toys, and such—whatever such is." Trunks answered, running his hand through his hair.

"I know what I said last night. But if you go shopping, can I come with?" Bulma asked, watching Trunks.

It shocked Trunks because she was asking instead of pushing her way in like she typically does.

Every now and then, Bulma liked to indulge herself in the pleasures of shopping, but not typically. She does, however, love to spoil Trunks and Bulla.

Everyone was so sure Bulma would spoil Miyuki without a thought or care.

Nobody expected Bulma ever to take a backseat and not spoil her grandchild.

"I don't care if you want to come with. Mom, I'm not only new at this; I'm also not, nor have I ever been a little girl—that I know of. Not only do I not know what Miyuki likes; it's clear she doesn't know what she likes yet. The only things I know she likes for certain are her teddy bear and Pokémon. Or she seems to like Pokémon. Believe me: none of this was planned, so I didn't have any time to learn what I could to get ready; I need as much help as I can get. All I ask is that you listen to what Miyuki wants and is comfortable with. If she absolutely doesn't want something because she's uncomfortable with it; please leave it alone." Trunks replied, watching his mother.

"Of course. But only because of how shy she is, and what she's been through." Bulma happily answered. Yet, at the same time, there was a hint of sadness.

"I know, Mom." Trunks sighed, watching Bulma.

"I hear the baby's back was burned. How is she?" Piccolo asked, watching Miyuki.

"She wasn't burned; she had a severe allergic reaction to a peanut shell. But thanks for your concern; she's much better." Trunks calmly answered, holding Miyuki.

"Huh. Bulla told me her back was severely burned to the point of blisters." Piccolo stated, stunned.

"Nope—just an allergic reaction." Trunks sighed, frustrated.

What was going on in Bulla's head?

"Trunks—is something wrong?" Bulma asked, concerned.

"I'm not sure. But I think we should get home and get at least Miyuki's crib set up so that she has something to sleep in before we go shopping." Trunks replied, getting Vegeta's attention.

"Do you want a lift? I can get you there faster than flying." Piccolo offered, sensing something was wrong.

"Yes, that'd be great." Vegeta spoke up before anyone could speak up.

"What's going on?" Bulma asked, panicked.

However, before anyone could answer her, Piccolo teleported them to the Briefs's home.

"What's going on in here?" Vegeta demanded, busting in through the front door with Bulma and the others right behind him.

"Nothing much. Bulla doing a book report she said was due Tuesday, and Goten is filling out college applications. Then we hope you don't mind, but Videl and I—and even Pan helped set everything up for Miyuki: her crib, cradles, and all that. Is something wrong?" Chi-Chi explained and then asked, watching Vegeta and Bulma.

"Trunks?" "Boy?" Bulma and Vegeta asked, watching Trunks.

"Where's Bulla?" Trunks asked, looking around.

"Right here, finishing my book report. I see we've still got the child." Bulla spoke up, looking up from her spot.

"Ok. What is going on with you as of late? Miyuki is your niece; she is family!" Bulma snapped, having enough, shocking just about everyone there.

"Mom, please; calm down. Miyuki, can you go with Grandma for a few minutes? There we go. Bulla, come here and do me a favor. If you do this, we'll talk about Miyuki and finding her a suitable living situation—depending on if you do well enough." Trunks told Bulla after handing Bulma Miyuki, shocking everyone there.

"Ok. What do you want me to do?" Bulla asked, watching Trunks.

"Lift your hair and turn around." Trunks calmly instructed, confusing Bulla.

"What?" Bulla asked, narrowing her eyes.

"Just do as I say." Trunks sighed, watching Bulla, annoyed.

"Fine. If I would've known this was the way to get rid of her sooner, I would've done this yesterday." Bulla grumbled, doing what Trunks asked her to do.

"There. Happy? Now, where's the child going? What? What are you looking at?" Bulla demanded after doing what Trunks asked; she then asked, annoyed.

"Can you turn around; you have a bug on the back of your neck." Trunks asked, watching Bulla.

"A bug?!" Bulla screeched, panicked.

"Yep. A big hairy one. Please—if you turn around, I can get it." Trunks replied, sighing in frustration.

"Ewww! Get it off! Get it off!" Bulla screamed, turning here and there.

"Well, stop moving, then." Trunks firmly instructed, getting hold of Bulla.

"Oh, and by the way; I'm not getting rid of Miyuki." Trunks told Bulla, removing a red ribbon from the back of Bulla's neck.

"Wha—?" Bulla didn't get to finish her sentence because once the ribbon was removed, she passed out.

"Bulla! What happened?! What is that?!" Bulla demanded, running over with Miyuki screaming.

"She's fine, Mom; Bulla's still breathing. No, Miyuki—not right now. I have to do something with this first." Trunks told Bulma before telling Miyuki—who just wouldn't stop screaming.

"I'll take Bulla; you find something to put whatever that is in." Vegeta instructed, going to get Bulla.

"Right. Uhh…" Bulma started only to stop, not knowing what to do with Miyuki.

"I'll take her." Goku spoke up right away.

"Let's go see Uncle Goku." Bulma told Miyuki, bouncing her a little to try to calm her down.

"Hi." Goku gently spoke to Miyuki, carefully taking her from Bulma.

"I'll be right back; I promise. I just have to go with Grandma for a little bit." Trunks promised Miyuki before going with Bulma.

Fifteen Minutes Later:

"How are things out here?" Trunks asked, walking out with Bulma.

"What was that thing?" Goten asked right away.

"The only thing we can figure out is that it's some kind of listening and/or controlling device. We don't know where it came from or anything like that; it's encrypted, so Trunks will have to figure that out later. How are Bulla and Miyuki?" Bulma answered and then asked.

"Bulla's fine. Her heart's beating just fine, and her breathing is even; there's no need for her to go to a doctor. Goku, Vegeta, Piccolo, and, and Pan took Miyuki outside, and are doing stupid shit to get her to laugh. Mom and Videl have been watching from the backdoor." Gohan answered before explaining.

"Ok." Trunks replied, going to the backdoor.

"She's not screaming anymore, but she's still crying." Videl calmly told Trunks.

"Thank you. What are they doing?" Trunks asked, watching Miyuki. She was sitting on a blanket and looked like she was listening and watching for Vegeta, Goku, and Piccolo.

Meanwhile, Pan stood several feet away from Miyuki with some kind of makeshift flag.

"I have no clue. They're your father, Goku, and Piccolo. Take your pick." Chi-Chi stated, annoyed; she watched Goku rip and tear up his nice new outfit.

Out of nowhere, a football fell from the sky and dug into the ground.

"Oh; they're playing Three-Way Sky Football Tag." Trunks noted when he saw the football followed by Goku and Vegeta tackling each other.

Meanwhile, Piccolo took the opportunity, got the football (and Pan out of the way), and scored a goal.

"I thought we agreed that you two would be on the same time so that shit like this wouldn't happen. Look at my yard!" Bulma furiously yelled, breaking up the game.

"It was his idea!" Goku and Vegeta ratted each other out.

"Where were you in all of this?!" Bulma yelled at Piccolo.

"Da!" Miyuki happily cried, reaching for Trunks.

"There's not a speck of dust on you." Trunks noted, lifting Miyuki into his arms.

"Pan, where are you going?" Videl asked, watching Pan trying to sneak by.

"Just inside." Pan innocently answered.

"Pan—who's idea was it to play Three-Way Sky Football Tag?" Videl demanded, watching her daughter, narrowing her eyes.

"Mine…" Pan mumbled.

"Even though you knew your grandmother bought your grandfather a very nice new outfit?" Videl sternly spoke to Pan.

"Sorry." Pan mumbled.

"What's done is done. Let's go: Trunks and Bulma have things to do. Come on." Videl told Pan.

"You're not going to punish me." Pan asked, confused.

"Nope. You're grandmother gets to pick your punishment." Videl calmly replied, leading the way, causing Pan to freeze.

"Don't worry; you'll get to spend your punishment with Grandpa." Chi-Chi told Pan, glaring at Goku.

"Boo-a." Miyuki softly spoke with her finger in her mouth when she saw Bulla sit up.

"Boo-a?" Pan asked, confused.

"You couldn't say things properly when you were a baby either." Videl scolded, watching Miyuki lean into Trunks.

"I was just asking." Pan argued right away.

"Bulla, are you alright?" Bulma asked, running over to her daughter.

"Yeah, I'm ok. My head hurts a little, but otherwise, I'm fine. Why? What happened?" Bulla answered and then asked, rubbing her head, confused.

"Hey, what are you doing with my ribbon? Who's kid?" Bulla asked, annoyed noticing her hair accessory in a jar. Her annoyance soon turned to confusion when she saw Miyuki.

"What do you mean ribbon? Where'd you get this?" Bulma demanded, pulling Bulla's attention to her.

"Daku gave it to me. Who's kid? What did I say?" Bulla asked, confused.

"Daku? You're sure?" Bulma asked, watching her daughter.

"Yes, I'm sure. What is going on?" Bulla demanded, becoming frustrated.

"Well, whatever Daku had to do with any of this, Miyuki's involved somehow—and she's afraid of him. You just say "his" name and she hides. Bulla, you're telling me you don't know who this is?" Trunks spoke up before asking.

"No. Should I?" Bulla asked, confused and annoyed.

"Well, this thing must've also been some kind of memory eraser as well. Long story short: I was stupid, got drunk, and had a night with Daisy a little over three years ago. I still don't know why for sure, but Daisy was using me for whatever reason, and we got Miyuki. Daisy, her friends, and whoever else were severely abusive (in every way) toward her. Bulla, this is my daughter/your niece, Miyuki Chaya Briefs; she's two years and five months old. She is half Saiyan and half Nekodian. Miyuki, this is your Aunt Bulla." Trunks explained before introducing the two.

"I have a niece?" Bulla asked, stunned.

"Yes. And this is her." Trunks replied.

"Aside from the ears and hair, she looks more like you than that bitch. Sorry." Bulla noted before apologizing for swearing.

"No need to apologize: Daisy was a bitch. But—sadly, it wasn't all her fault. We'll talk later." Bulma told Bulla.

"What do you think of Miyuki?" Goten asked, watching Bulla. He was concerned about this because it would be difficult for him, seeing as Bulla was his mate, but Trunks was his best friend.

"She's adorable. The ears are different, but she's still so adorable." Bulla happily announced.

"You don't think she's a mistake?" Goku asked, watching Bulla.

"No. Why would I?" Bulla asked, confused.

"This thing that Daku gave you made you say some horrible things about, around, and directly to Miyuki. We'll leave it at that for now. Right now, it's a huge relief that it wasn't you saying all that." Trunks replied, rubbing Miyuki's back.

"I'm sorry." Bulla sadly apologized.

"Don't. Just don't. Now that we know it wasn't you; there's nothing for you to be sorry about. Honestly, I think you were in there; I think you were trying to fight it this entire time. But because he knew us well us enough, Daku knew what he needed to do so that we wouldn't sense or feel this. He thought he knew how strong to make this to keep Bulla at bay. He just didn't count on her being stronger than he thought. Bad for him; good for us. All that matters is that you're back and you're the sister I know and love." Trunks calmly told Bulla, making her cry before hugging him.

"Can I hold her?" Bulla asked, watching Trunks after pulling away.

"Uhhh… If she'll let you. Because of all the abuse, Miyuki's very shy… Actually, she's beyond very shy. We're still working on trust with just about everyone. But if she'll let you, go right ahead." Trunks replied, unsure. He wanted just to hand Miyuki to Bulla like he can kind of do with Bulma and Vegeta. But at the same time, he feared Miyuki's reaction.

"Hi, Miyuki." Bulla gently spoke to Miyuki.

"Will you turn to say "hi" to Aunty Bulla? I promise she's not going to hurt or be mean to you. That Bulla before wasn't the real Aunty Bulla; she was an imposter. Like everyone else, Aunty Bulla loves you." Trunks gently told Miyuki, pulling her away from him a little.

Miyuki allowed him to turn her around so she could see Bulla.

"Hi. I'm sorry if I said some very mean things to you. I didn't mean them—any of them." Bulla gently spoke with Miyuki.

"Da sitter?" Miyuki asked, pointing to Bulla.

"Yes, that's my sister—your aunt." Trunks told Miyuki, lifting her to her feet.

"Will she walk over to me?" Bulla asked, watching Miyuki.

"Unfortunately, no. She still can't walk—and we don't talk a whole lot yet. She crawled a little earlier, but became so exhausted after only a few moves. But we're working on it, aren't we? That and her physical therapy. It may take some time, but we will get there, won't we?" Trunks replied before explaining.

"I'm so sorry. And all because of stuff her mother did?" Bulla asked, watching Miyuki.

"You have no idea. Nor do you want to know." Trunks replied, watching Bulla.

"And all the things I must've said to her. I—" "Don't go there. It's not your fault. As we've discovered; it's Daku who is at fault, not you. As long as you're kind, caring, and love Miyuki, all is fine. All that matters is that we're all ok and Miyuki is taken care of from now on." Trunks interrupted Bulla when she started apologizing again.

"And you've only been a father a day, you said?" Bulla asked, watching Trunks.

"That's correct, yes. Why?" Trunks replied Before asking.

"It's just—I guess I was good for something. You've only been a dad a day, and you're already doing a great job—despite all the crap she's been through. Despite all her obstacles—all her fears, you're doing so well with her. From what I've heard from friends, most new parents are a wreck because they have no clue what they're doing. Not only are you a new father; you're a new, single father, to a two-year-and-a-half-year-old with PTSD. You're doing amazing with her. I hope that when Goten and I have kids, we'll be just as amazing as you." Bulla sincerely told Trunks.

"Thanks. But you and Goten better not be having kids for another six years or so. Ultimately, I have no room to talk, seeing as I have Miyuki, but that's why I need to talk. Wait. Obviously, if something happens, I'll support you, but try to wait." Trunks told Bulla, giving her a quick hug.

"You don't have to worry about that." Bulla replied, hugging Trunks in return.

"Aww! My babies are getting along again!" Bulma happily cried, taking a picture before encasing them and Miyuki in a group hug.

"Maaom!" Trunks and Bulla cried, embarrassed.

"Booba." Miyuki mumbled against Trunks's shoulder.

"Booba?" Bulla asked, confused before she and Goku started laughing; Vegeta walked away to laugh.

"Hush!" Bulma hissed, glaring at Goku.

"When did Daku give you that thing?" Goten asked, watching Bulla, finally getting a word in, watching Bulla.

"Umm… About two weeks ago. Why?" Bulla answered and then asked after thinking for a minute.

"Why you? Why did he give you the thing if it has something to do with Miyuki? None of us knew about her until yesterday." Goten asked before making a point.

"Good question." Vegeta agreed, becoming defensive.

"Well, let's not worry about it now. We have to get Miyuki some clothes, toys, and other things. Let's go; we'll make it a family affair." Bulma happily changed the subject, popping the thing Daku gave Bulla into a capsule.

"Sounds like a plan. What do you think, Miyuki?" Trunks agreed before asking Miyuki, shifting her a little.

"Are you ready to go shopping for your very own stuff?" Bulma asked, looking at Miyuki.

Miyuki tilted her head to the side, looked at Trunks, not understanding, before hiding her face in his shoulder.

"Oh, it's ok, Princess; we're going to get you things you really need. Nothing we get you will hurt you—unless you do something you're not supposed to. We just want to make sure you have what you need. You need clothes; you can't just wear two different outfits and one pair of pajamas, can you? We all just need time, don't we?" Trunks gently told Miyuki, rubbing her back, watching his mother.

"We will take all the time Miyuki needs. And don't forget: we're going to get her plenty of stuffed animals, toys, nightlights, books and whatever else she could need or want." Bulma happily stated, watching Miyuki.

"Mmmm… Mmmm… Mmmm…" Miyuki mumbled into Trunks's shoulder. She was saying something, but nobody could understand her.

"What? Do you want something?" Trunks gently asked, pulling Miyuki away a little.

"Potty, pease?" Miyuki asked, tucking her legs up and down.

"Sure. But you can use your diaper until you can get up and walk by yourself. That's what they're for; you won't get in trouble for using them." Trunks told Miyuki, carrying her to the bathroom.

Five Minutes Later:

"Is everything ok?" Bulma asked, concerned when Trunks walked out with a very red Miyuki.

"It was difficult. Are we all going together?" Trunks answered and then asked, watching Bulma.

"YES! I mean—if you want, that is." Bulma quickly—perhaps too quickly answered before trying to calm down, watching Trunks.

"Smooth save." Vegeta mumbled, shaking his head.

"Ok. We still need to stop at the pharmacy to get her prescriptions; she's complaining that her lower area is burning. Trying to wipe her was a nightmare because I couldn't get there—and now I just feel bad." Trunks answered, rubbing Miyuki's back.

"Can I check? Maybe there's something I can do to help alleviate her pain—even just a little bit." Bulma asked, looking at Trunks.

"That'd be great. Miyuki, will you let Grandma help you?" Trunks asked, holding Miyuki. All Miyuki did was cry as she reached for Bulma.

"Don't worry so much, Trunks; you and she will get through this. Step by step, right?" Bulma reminded Trunks when she saw how upset he looked.

"Right." Trunks quietly replied.

"We're going to head out. Call if you need anything." Chi-Chi excused herself, Goku, and Goten.

"We'll see you around. Like Mom said: don't hesitate to call." Gohan told Trunks, excusing himself, Videl, and Pan.

"Wait. There is one thing I want to ask before you leave." Trunks stopped Gohan.

"Yes, what is it?" Everyone asked, watching Trunks.

"Just because just about everyone does it. No matter if anything happens to me, my parents, or Bulla: would you be willing to be Miyuki's godparents/god grandparents?" Trunks asked, looking at Gohan and Videl, Goku and Chi-Chi, and Goten.

"I'd be honored." Gohan and Videl answered after looking at each other.

"I'd love to be." Goku, Chi-Chi, and Goten agreed with smiles.

After all that, Goku, Chi-Chi, Gohan, Videl, Goten, and Pan headed out while Vegeta, Trunks, and Bulla waited for Bulma and Miyuki.

"All better." Bulma stated, walking out with Miyuki.

"What was wrong?" Vegeta asked, watching Bulma hand Miyuki to Trunks.

"Just diaper rash. We'll stop and get Miyuki's medications and go from there. It's supposed to storm this week, so I want to go grocery shopping as well. Bulla, this is your last week of school before you have summer vacation. I need to know now if you want to continue going to junior high, or do you want to go back to homeschooling." Bulma answered before going on to telling everyone; she then focused on Bulla.

"I want to continue in public school." Bulla answered.

"Ok. Next year will be your last year of junior high, and then you'll be in high school. I'm so proud of you." Bulma happily told Bulla before hugging her.

"Let's go before it gets too late." Vegeta grumbled, watching everyone.

"Ok. Oh, wait; I have to find Miyuki one of Bulla's old car seats. Hold on." Bulma agreed before remembering they didn't have a car seat yet.

Five Minutes Later:

"Miyuki, can you please go with Aunty Bulla? I think Grandma needs help—and I have no clue where Grandpa went." Trunks told Miyuki, handing her to Bulla.

"Hi." Bulla gently told Miyuki after she was allowed to hold her.

"Mom, do you need any help up here?" Trunks asked once he entered the attic.

"I can't seem to find the car seats. I know I saved them, but I can't find them." Bulma replied, looking around.

"Well, she's small enough; Miyuki could always use my second car seat." Trunks suggested, holding up his second car seat.

"Perfect." Bulma happily agreed, leading the way down.

"Where's Miyuki?" Trunks asked, looking at Bulla.

"Dad took her." Bulla answered, pointing to the kitchen.

"Oh, yeah—such a big, mean tough guy." Bulma mocked Vegeta after seeing him rocking Miyuki while she sucked down some orange juice.

"Da!" Miyuki happily cried, panting a little after releasing the bottle.

"Let's head out." Bulma happily instructed as Trunks took Miyuki.

"How are we going to fit everyone in the car?" Bulla asked when Bulma opened the car.

"Don't you worry about that. Dad and I will sit up front with Miyuki between us, and you and Trunks in the back. This car has a set up for a car seat in between the front seats: this way, Miyuki can see everyone." Bulma explained, getting everything set up.

"It's ok." Bulma cooed, getting Miyuki situated in her car seat.

"She does not like the car seat, does she?" Bulla asked, watching Miyuki fuss as she and Trunks got buckled in.

"Like daughter, like father; Trunks didn't like being in his car seat either." Bulma stated, finally getting Miyuki strapped in.

Not even three minutes after the car started moving, Miyuki passed out with orange juice running down her cheek.

"That was fast." Vegeta mumbled, looking at Miyuki.

"Is it because she's a baby or her cat genes?" Bulla asked, watching Trunks cover Miyuki with a thin jacket.

"It could be either. Or it could be both." Bulma answered, watching the road.

Several Hours Later:

Or as Vegeta would say:

Several Long Ass Hours Later:

"'Bout bloody time we got home. Why did we need to come with so much stuff? Why does one little girl need so much stuff?" Vegeta grumbled, walking inside with a bag of groceries.

"Because you just couldn't say no to her—and neither could we." Bulma enthusiastically replied as Trunks carried a sleeping Miyuki in. Carefully, he placed her in her crib and covered her with a thin blanket.

"So which room are we sticking her in?" Bulla asked, looking around.

"For now, until the basement's finished; she's going to stay in my room with me." Trunks replied.

"Until the basement's finished?" Bulla asked, confused.

"Oh, I suppose… When you were under Daku's control, you really pissed me off—to the point of me threatening to move out. Mom suggested remodeling the basement so that it's kind of like a small apartment because I don't actually want to move out; I still need help. However, now that we know it wasn't actually you, I don't have a problem with you or "your" attitude. With that being said, I would still like to move to the basement to kind of have my own space—minus a kitchen." Trunks explained, watching Bulla.

"What's going to happen to Trunks's room?" Bulla asked, watching Bulma.

"Well, if you behave and help out around the house and with Miyuki, you can have his room if you want." Bulma calmly replied.

"Really?" Bulla asked, watching Bulma.

"Really." Bulma replied with a smile.

"Oh, my God; thank you!" Bulla happily thanked Bulma, hugging her and then Trunks.

"You're welcome." Bulma replied, hugging Bulla in return.

"Do you need any help?" Goku asked, popping in with Gohan and Goten.

"What are you three doing here?" Vegeta asked, annoyed.

"Mom and Videl took Pan out with 18 and Marron for a girl's night. How'd your day go?" Gohan replied and then asked, watching everyone.

Flashback:

They were just leaving the pharmacy when they ran into Yamcha.

"Hey!" Vegeta yelled, getting Yamcha's attention.

"Oh, hey; what's up?" Yamcha asked, walking over to them.

"Don't just, "Hey, what's up" us!" Vegeta snapped.

"What's going on?" Yamcha asked, confused as Trunks put Miyuki in her car seat.

"You tried killing my granddaughter!" Vegeta yelled, pissed off.

"Excuse me?! I did no such thing!" Yamcha snapped, defending himself.

"That's enough! Nobody needs to be yelling like this. Miyuki's in her car seat with Bulla; they don't need to be hearing any of that. Yamcha, I need to ask because you didn't believe what that girl said about Miyuki being allergic to peanuts: did you drop a peanut shell down her shirt?" Trunks stopped Vegeta and Yamcha from yelling and attack each other.

"Earlier? Not that I know of. I mean, it's quite possible because I still had a small bag left. And I did try to give her one. If one got into her shirt because of me; I didn't mean to. And if I did, I'm sorry. What's going on?" Yamcha replied before asking.

"Miyuki is severely allergic to peanuts; I had to take her to the ER earlier. She's fine now, but we were just lucky." Trunks answered, watching Yamcha.

"Jeez. I'm sorry. I swear I didn't drop a peanut down her shirt on purpose." Yamcha swore up and down.

"Ok…" "What about Daku?!" Trunks started only for Bulla to interrupt him.

"Bulla: back in the car now!" Bulma yelled.

"What about Daku?" Yamcha asked, confused.

"Daku used some kind of device to control Bulla and make her say all sorts of things about Miyuki that aren't true. They were things Bulla, herself, would never say. The thing also made Bulla forget anything having to do with Miyuki before it was removed. I don't know for sure, but I don't think Daku is a good guy. You just mention his name and Miyuki starts freaking out." Trunks explained, watching Yamcha.

"I knew we couldn't trust him; I know I never did. He always gave me the creeps." Bulma added.

"Where is he?" Vegeta demanded, glaring at Yamcha.

"I don't know; I haven't seen Daku since yesterday when he left the party. The last thing we talked about was—he had something big to do today. I don't know what because he didn't tell me what, but he said it was big. I think he said something about receiving some kind of delivery, but I'm not a hundred percent sure about that. Maybe you should ask Bulla: he talked to her before he left; maybe he told her what he was planning. I'm not trying to be rude or anything, but they have been spending a lot of time together lately." Yamcha replied, annoyed, watching Vegeta.

"How long ago was that?" Bulma demanded, watching Yamcha.

"I don't know: two or three weeks, maybe. He gave her some necklace or something. Whatever it was, they've been best friends ever since." Yamcha replied, watching Bulma.

"I don't think we could ask Bulla even if we wanted to; I don't think she'll remember. She didn't even remember Miyuki after a day and a half—even after all the arguing. Do you know if Daku's ever mentioned Miyuki or knowing her?" Trunks stated before asking Yamcha.

"Are you sure Daku's who you want? I mean, sure; Daku's a little creepy, but he's not dangerous. Yesterday is the first day I've ever heard of Miyuki; he's never mentioned her before. Or if he has; I haven't heard him say it. I will see if I can get a hold of him if you'd like." Yamcha immediately became defensive.

"Yamcha, this is my granddaughter we're talking about. If this Daku is dangerous and has hurt her in any way and you knew about it; you won't like the end results. Do you understand me?" Bulma dangerously threatened, pointing her finger at Yamcha's throat.

"Yes, Ma'am." Yamcha gulped, backing away a little.

"Yamcha, can you please call Daku and talk to him—on speaker? I want to speak with him." Trunks spoke up, narrowing his eyes.

Yamcha didn't reply; there was a look in Trunks's eyes that scared him, so he just got his phone.

Three Calls Later:

"Hello? Sorry, I was in a meeting." Daku answered his phone.

"Daku, it's Trunks." Trunks replied.

"Trunks? Trunks Briefs? What are you doing with Yamcha's phone?" Daku asked, sounding confused.

"Yes, this is Trunks Briefs. Yamcha's here; I don't have your number in my phone, so I'm using his." Trunks answered.

"What do you need?" Daku asked, sounding annoyed.

"I just have a few simple questions for you." Trunks replied.

"Ok. What are they?" Daku asked, interested.

"Who was your meeting with? Is it someone—or something having to do with my daughter? You do know my daughter, yes? Miyuki. What is your issue with her? I know you have something to do with her because of Bulla. What did you give her: a hair accessory or a necklace?" Trunks asked question after question.

"What do you mean?" Daku asked, trying to sound confused. Trunks could hear the deception in his voice.

"Don't play with me. I received full custody of my daughter yesterday, a few months after her mother was found dead due to an overdose. I also know she was severely abused by Daisy and many others. Were you one of the people who hurt her? Every time she hears your name, she cries." Trunks demanded, not wanting to play around.

"Jeez… You're just as serious as your freaking, good-for-nothing parents. Let me get one thing perfectly straight with you: that child is and will be mine. You might as well just hand her over now. Bulla: she was just too easy—or I thought she would be. Daddy's girl. Using her jealous nature of needing attention, I figured I'd easily be able to get the girl. No wonder I didn't get my package yet. How did you figure that out?" Daku started explaining before asking, interested.

"I saw your ribbon on the back of her neck. And no matter how much attention you think Bulla demands, she'll never be that jealous of her niece. Family is everything to us. Not that you'll ever get her: what is it you want with Miyuki?" Trunks answered and then asked.

"Huh. Guess I should've found a different patsy. Oh, well. The girl is mine; that's all you need to know. Daisy just had to be so damn defiant. My new girl is perfectly well-behaved. Unfortunately, she can't have kids. Miyuki will be my next good girl. That little bit of human in her will make her such a good little girl." Daku cockily stated.

"Jokes on you. We were told by an invisible voice that Miyuki has no human whatsoever in her. The Saiyan and Nekodian completely took over, making her half Saiyan and half Nekodian. You will not get or even touch my daughter." Trunks sternly warned, narrowing his eyes.

"That's just not possible. Whatever. None of that matters; she'll still be mine. She's dumb enough. You'll never know what I want or have planned for her. She's mine; that's all you need to know. What are you going to tell your parents? I highly doubt they're ready to be grandparents yet. I mean, just look at your mother: she's so vein; I highly doubt she'll want to be called "Grandma." That means she's getting old. And your father: do you really trust him around a small, defenseless child, like Miyuki? Clearly, you're planning on keeping her. Where are you going to live? Hmm?" Daku taunted Trunks and his parents.

"They'll both stay home with us. Miyuki is our granddaughter, and we love her just as much as we love Trunks and Bulla. You touch her, and I'll personally hunt you down and disembowel you. Oh, and I am recording this: I will show it to the police, and you had better hope they find you before I do. And if Vegeta finds you, you had better pray for a quick and painless death because the police will be the least of your worries." Bulma beyond dangerously threatened.

"Of course your slut of a mother is there as well." Daku mumbled.

"Dad's here as well." Trunks calmly spoke.

Daku hung up right after that—after tripping and crashing over something.

No matter how tough talker he was, Daku was terrified of Vegeta.

"Let me know if he gets in contact with you again." Trunks calmly told Yamcha, handing him his phone.

"Uh-huh. Of course." Yamcha replied in shock before slowly walking away.

"I'll drive. Dad, are you still coming with or are you going to beat something up?" Trunks firmly insisted before asking his father.

"I'm going with. I don't have time for this now." Vegeta grumbled, walking to the car.

"Da." Miyuki greeted as soon as Trunks got in the driver's seat.

"Hi, Baby." Trunks greeted with a smile, tickling Miyuki's stomach a little. Miyuki, in return, scrunched up and giggled a little.

"What happened back there?" Bulla asked when Bulma got in back with her, and Vegeta and Trunks got in front.

"We'll discuss it later—when Miyuki's not around. It's not a discussion for her to hear. Simply put: Daku's a dead man walking." Trunks answered before Bulma could say anything.

"Pop-Pop." Miyuki softly spoke, reaching Vegeta's arm.

"It feels warm." Bulla spoke up.

"That's Miyuki: she has a calming ability." Trunks answered, taking a deep breath.

"So, Dad's "Pop-Pop" and Mom's "Booba?" How does that work?" Bulla asked, looking from Vegeta to Bulma.

"She hears everyone call Mom by her name. Earlier, she called Dad "Geeta." I think with Mom, it has to do with the fact that everyone laughs when Miyuki calls her "Booba." It's funny and to her, laughing means she won't get hurt. We'll get things figured out." Trunks explained before assuring Bulla.

"I've got an idea—if I can?" Bulla asked, watching Trunks.

"Ok." Trunks replied, keeping his eyes on the road.

"Miyuki, who is that?" Bulla asked, pointing to Trunks.

"Da." Miyuki answered, looking at Trunks.

"And him?" Bulla asked, looking at Vegeta.

"Pop-Pop?" Miyuki asked, looking at Vegeta.

"Good. And me? Who am I?" Bulla asked, pointing to herself.

"Anny Boo-a?" Miyuki asked, looking at Bulma.

"And finally, who is this?" Bulla asked, pointing to Bulma.

"Booba." Miyuki answered, looking at Bulma.

"No. Well, yes, but you can't call her that. Can you say "Mama" or "Nana?" That's what you wanna call her." Bulla calmly told Miyuki, who just looked confused.

"Mew-Mew?" Miyuki asked, pointing to Bulma.

"Mew-Mew?" Bulla asked, stunned.

"Mew-Mew no Booba?" Miyuki asked, pointing to Bulma.

"Yes, that's your "mew-mew." Very good, Miyuki. You have me, Pop-Pop, Mew-Mew, and Aunty Boo-a. Yes, you can have that; it's yours." Trunks praised Miyuki before anyone could say anything. He then told Miyuki she could have her bottle of orange juice when she slowly picked it up.

"At least we're getting somewhere. One day at a time." Bulma happily stated, playing with Miyuki's foot.

"Da." Miyuki spoke, out of breath from sucking down her juice.

"I think all we have is water, Baby." Trunks told Miyuki as she shook the empty bottle back and forth.

"Hold on, Sweetie." Bulma instructed, digging under one of the seats; she dug out a water bottle and a sugar-free drink packet.

"Do you wanna try pink lemonade or grape? These are all I have." Bulma told Miyuki, holding up the drink packets.

Miyuki pointed to the pink lemonade.

"Huh!" Miyuki gasped in amazement after Bulma poured the powder into the water, changing it from clear to pink.

"That's like the most amazing thing ever." Bulma noted, watching Miyuki.

"Haha. You and Trunks used to think the same thing when you were little. Can I see your bottle please?" Bulma laughed a little before asking Miyuki.

Miyuki just stared at Bulma before slowly handing her her bottle.

"Don't worry; I'll get it right back to you." Bulma promised, removing the lid before pouring the juice into the bottle for Miyuki.

Once she had it back in her hands, Miyuki started shaking the bottle. She stopped after a few minutes when she realized the water wasn't changing anymore.

"Let's just get shopping before it gets dark." Vegeta grumbled, looking out his window. However, he couldn't help but watch Miyuki out of the corner of his eyes.

"Where are we going first?" Bulma asked, watching Miyuki slowly drink her juice.

"Maybe we should rent a moving truck for the day so that we can get all of her things home today." Bulla joked around.

"That's a great idea. There's one close by. And I know she won't be using one for a while, we can pick Miyuki's bed out while we have a truck." Bulma suggested while Trunks drove along.

"That's fine, but I can't drive a large truck like that." Trunks stated, stopping behind some cars.

"Sounds like a plan. And don't worry; I can drive a truck." Bulma happily declared, getting her phone. She called the trucking company to see if she could secure a truck: they had a medium one she could use.

Ten Minutes Later:

"What's going on?" Bulma asked Miyuki, noticing she looked around when Trunks stopped the car.

"Is that Tien?" Bulla asked, looking out her window.

When they got to the moving truck place, they ran into Tien.

"I think so. Do you wanna get out of that seat for a little bit? I'll take that as a yes." Trunks replied before asking Miyuki. He got his answer when Miyuki looked at him and reached for him.

"I thought that was you. What's going on? Is something wrong? Did something happen?" Tien greeted before asking, watching as Trunks handed Vegeta Miyuki to help him calm down.

"Turns out Daku is a giant jerk. He tried controlling Bulla into giving him Miyuki using some ribbon. He's after Miyuki for whatever reason. We don't know a lot of details other than that." Trunks answered Tien, sighing in frustration.

"But moving on: we're here to get a moving truck so that we can get all of Miyuki's things to the house in one trip." Bulma explained, changing the subject.

"Oh, I see. I always knew he was creepy, but I never pictured him as that kind of creep." Tien replied, rubbing his head.

Meanwhile, Vegeta was holding Miyuki by her hips, dipping her down backward before lifting her back up. Miyuki lay there, squealing and laughing each time Vegeta dipped her and then lifted her back up.

"That's definitely different than yesterday. It's nice to hear her laughing." Tien stated, watching Vegeta with Miyuki.

"Daddy's and Grandpa's girl." Bulla stated, watching them.

"She's defiantly part of this family; she has a strong grip." Vegeta noted when Miyuki grabbed his shirt; she was done.

"Da." Miyuki spoke, looking for Trunks.

"Hold on." Vegeta instructed, going over to Trunks.

"Are you Bulma Briefs?" A tall man asked, walking over with some keys.

"Yes, that's me." Bulma quickly answered.

"Ok, she's here. Bring the truck out." The man instructed over a walky-talky.

"Will do." Someone answered back.

"Sign here, saying you understand that you are responsible for the truck you are receiving. Any damages it may receive while in your care, you will be charged for. You've stated you only need it for one night; so make sure you have it back here within twenty-four hours, or you'll be charged a late fee." The man instructed, handing Bulma a sheet of paper to sign.

"Yes, of course." Bulma replied, reading everything over.

"What are you doing here?" Trunks asked, looking at Tien.

"Your child wants you." Vegeta told Trunks, holding Miyuki to him.

"Hi, Princess." Trunks greeted, taking Miyuki from Vegeta.

"I was returning a Truck." Tien replied to what Trunks asked.

"Oh, that's right: you just moved, didn't you?" Trunks asked, completely forgetting that Tien has been moving this past week.

"Yep. Just finished up earlier. She's still shy, I see." Tien answered with a smile and then stated, watching Miyuki bury her face in Trunks's shoulder.

"Yeah—but we're getting there." Trunks replied with a small smile.

"I got the truck: who wants to drive?" Bulma asked, walking over with a copy of the signed papers.

"Where is it?" Vegeta asked, looking around.

"Someone has to bring it out for us. It'll be here in a few minutes." Bulma argued.

"I can drive if you want—if you all want to stay with Miyuki that is. Besides, I think she'd like it if you were all with her. She might be calmer knowing all of you are with her instead of having one of you somewhere she can't see you." Tien offered and then wisely explained.

"That'd be great." Vegeta calmly agreed. Right now, he didn't want his family separated unless they had to be.

"That's a great idea. Thanks, Tien. But are you sure you have time?" Bulma asked, looking at Tien.

"Of course, I have time. All I have to do at my place is get it all set up. Thanks to Krillin, Gohan, and Goten, and even Goku here and there; I've got all my stuff there. Now, I just have to set everything up. Besides, it's best to have someone else to help keep an eye on things with Miyuki." Tien calmly but seriously replied.

"Thanks so much. We owe you big time. If you want, we can come help you organize, paint and such." Bulma offered, causing Vegeta to sneer a little.

"Thanks." Tien replied as the truck came out.

"Is that the truck?" Trunks asked, watching a truck pull out.

"Yep. I know what you're thinking, but they only had medium and extra-large trucks left. So…" "It's fine, Mom. It could always be worse." Bulma explained until Trunks interrupted her.

"Here are the keys. We expect to see the truck tomorrow between noon and three when you've indicated you would be bringing it back." Some lady informed Bulma, handing her the keys.

"Thank you." Bulma replied before the lady headed out…
