"So, what's the plan?" Bulla asked, looking around.

"Tien's taking the truck and driving behind us so we can all be with Miyuki." Bulma calmly answered.

"Well, that, I know. I meant where are we going?" Bulla clarified.

"Oh, well… I'm not sure." Bulma replied, stumped.

"I wanna stop at a furniture store first. Like Mom said, while we have the truck; we should get Miyuki her bed for later. I don't know how long she'll be in a crib for, but I want her to have a bed already picked out. She's also going to need a dresser for all her clothes I'm sure she'll have. After that, we'll go from there." Trunks spoke up, holding Miyuki close.

"Sounds like a plan. I'll drive." Bulma replied before insisting, heading to the driver's side.

"She really does not like that car seat." Bulla noted as Trunks struggled to get Miyuki in.

"No—I don't think it's the car seat she doesn't like; it seems like she doesn't like her arms being maneuvered the way they have to be in order for the belt to be placed properly. There. That's better, isn't it?" Trunks replied, getting Miyuki situated.

"She's drinking the lemonade slower than her orange juice." Bulla noted, watching Miyuki slowly drink her juice.

"We'll have to make sure we get plenty of orange juice." Vegeta spoke, trying and failing to sound gruff.

"Miyuki loves her orange juice; she looks at whoever says it. She is just too cute." Bulma cooed as she drove along, taking glances at Miyuki.

"Her hair's a bit odd though. What? I'm not saying it's hideous or anything like that. It's just weird because Trunks has Violet hair and wasn't Daisy blonde? I just don't get where brown comes in." Bulla gave her opinion.

"I will say I agree, the brown hair is different because I don't think anyone in our family has brown hair. But I do know she's mine. DNA proves that—and I did ask for a DNA test to be done right in front of me. Not that that matters a whole lot; she has a lot of my facial features and such. Yes, Daisy was blonde, but anyone in her family could have brown hair. But none of that matters, does it, Miyuki? All that matters is that your DNA matches me, making you all mine." Trunks replied, tickling Miyuki's stomach, making her scrunch up and smile a little.

"She's a "Briefs;" nobody can ever take her away from us now." Bulma announced with a smile.

"Over my dead body will anybody even dare lay a finger on her." Vegeta declared, watching Miyuki.

"Welcome to our crazy family." Bulla told Miyuki, rolling her eyes a little.

"I would apologize to her for being brought into the craziness that is our family, but I think our craziness is better than the abuse she faced before. And she is a "Briefs;" she's part of our crazy." Trunks responded, watching Miyuki.

"This doesn't look like a furniture store." Vegeta noted when Bulma turned into a gas station.

"It's just a stop on the way; the car needs gas. Miyuki, can you finish your juice? If you do, I've got a surprise instore for you." Bulma told Miyuki before getting out to pump gas.

"How much does she have left?" Vegeta asked, watching Miyuki take a breath from her juice.

"A little less than half." Trunks replied.

"Give me that, please." Vegeta took the bottle, removed the top, and finished the lemonade.

Trunks then took the empty bottle from Vegeta, poured some water in it, and shook the bottle before dumping the water outside on the ground.

Five Minutes Later:

"What took you so long?" Vegeta asked, watching his wife.

"I got some drinks and a mini portable cooler to keep the drinks cool. I got Tien two teas, so I dropped them off with him so had something to drink. For all he's doing for us, it's something I could do for him. Besides, I got you some of the bottled coffee you like—and some beef sticks, and a triple chocolate muffin." Bulma replied, handing Vegeta three coffees, four beef sticks, and a triple chocolate muffin.

"Thanks." Vegeta thanked Bulma, taking the stuff.

"Bulla, I got you a Mt. Dew, a water, a tea, two muffins, and a Snickers bar." Bulma told Bulla, handing her a bag.

"Thanks, Mom." Bulla happily replied.

"Trunks, I got you some beef sticks and three Gatorades." Bulma told Trunks but didn't hand him anything yet.

"Can she have a bite of Snickers?" Bulla asked, looking at Trunks.

"No. Unfortunately, she's allergic to all types of nuts. When we get home, I'll give you a list of everything she's allergic to. Trust me: there's a lot. We spent several hours in the ER this morning after a peanut fell down her shirt earlier. Yamcha had been delivering them to someone else; he offered her one, but someone said she was allergic. And they were right: Miyuki's entire back became so inflamed and she started having issues breathing. She was lucky: it could've been a lot worse." Trunks answered and explained to Bulla.

"Oh. I'm sorry." Bulla apologized.

"It's fine. We'll get things figured out." Trunks replied.

"That's another reason I took a little bit. I found Miyuki a small fruit punch without the pineapple, a chocolate, cream-filled cupcake, a chocolate bar filled with caramel, a bag of mini fudge-striped cookies, and a few bottles of orange juice." Bulma told Trunks, now handing him two bags.

"Thanks, Mom. I think Miyuki's happy." Trunks replied with a smile.

As soon as Bulma mentioned having orange juice, Miyuki started bouncing around and making excited noises in her car seat.

"Sit still now and I'll pour you your orange juice." Trunks gently told Miyuki, opening her bottle and the orange juice bottle.

Miyuki immediately stopped moving and held still. Still, she never took her eyes off Trunks.

"Ok. Drink this slowly; don't just suck it down. Ok?" Trunks told Miyuki, handing her the bottle.

"K." Miyuki replied, taking the bottle and immediately started drinking.

Furniture Store:

"Here we are." Bulma announced, pulling into a parking lot.

"Da?" Miyuki asked, scared and confused, trying to look around.

"It's ok, Princess. We're going to pick you out a bed for when you get bigger and a new dresser for your clothes." Trunks gently told Miyuki.

"No leaf." Miyuki quietly spoke before tears slowly started falling.

"No leaf?" Vegeta and Bulla asked, confused.

"No, we're not going to leave you here. We're not going to leave you anywhere. We're here to pick things up for you, and then they're going to go into the truck Mr. Tien's driving. Then we're going to go shopping somewhere else to get more things for you. Finally, we're all going to go home together. Ok? Nobody's going to leave you or anybody else behind." Trunks gently and sincerely told Miyuki, wiping away her tears as Bulma pulled into a spot.

"Are we ready?" Bulma asked, looking at everyone.

"Let's get this over with." Vegeta huffed.

Trunks unhooked Miyuki from her car seat as the others got out.

"Welcome to Slumber is Your Best Friend." A greeter politely greeted everyone as they entered the building.

"Thank you." Bulma, Trunks, and Tien replied, walking past.

"What kind of bed are you looking for?" Tien asked, looking around.

"Well, she's short—shorter than most girls her age. I mean we never know if she'll spurt up or not, but she should still get something she can easily get in and out of." Bulma suggested, looking around.

"Do they have a kids section here?" Trunks asked, looking around, only seeing beds for adults and teens.

"Hello, may I help you?" A female employee kindly asked, seeing they were lost.

"Yes, do you have kids section here?" Bulma asked.

"Yes, of course. Please follow me." The lady replied with a smile before leading the way.

After a few minutes, they arrived at a small area for kids.

"I'm sorry for the selection: I know it's not very big. We don't get very many people in here looking for stuff for kids. We mostly just get adults, teenagers, and senior citizens. But we do get a few people looking for children, so the owner had to make a space for that. Here we are. If you need me for anything; I'll be right by the door." The lady politely explained, showing them a small area for children under eleven.

"This should be just fine, thank you." Trunks calmly replied. He didn't think Miyuki would be too picky when picking out a bed, considering she's never had a bed and was still in a crib.

The area was divided into two different areas:

To the left was for girls

To the right was for boys.

"Oh, how about this one? It's cute." Bulma noticed a pretty pink bed. Miyuki made a face at it before hiding her face in Trunks's shoulder.

"I think that's a no." Vegeta noted with a smile.

"Onto the next one then." Bulma insisted, leading the way.

Fifteen Minutes Later:

They looked at all the beds and dressers: Miyuki didn't like any of them; she made faces and then hid her face in Trunks's shoulder.

"Maybe you'll find something at the bigger store downtown: it caters to kids." The lady apologetically told the group once they made it back to the entry door without any tags. She then left to help someone else.

"Hmm? What is it, Vegeta? What are you looking at?" Bulma asked, looking at her husband.

"Not me. The child is looking that in that direction." Vegeta replied, pointing to the right.

"Dis one!" They heard Miyuki cry out happily from the right side of the store.

"Do you see something you like?" Trunks asked, pulling Miyuki away from him.

"Don't worry; I have you. I'm not going to leave you behind. I've got your hands, so you won't fall; pick your legs up one at a time and walk in the direction you want to go." Trunks instructed, holding her hands above her head.

Crawling or walking: whichever one came first, Trunks would teach her both until she picked one up.

She stumbled multiple times, but Miyuki never completely fell over or cried, thanks to Trunks. And they finally made it over to the bed she was looking at:

The bed was soft yet firm at the same time, with stars and moons all over the foot and headboards. Miyuki seemed to like the bed, but what really had her attention was the footboard, headboard, and the baby blue blanket, also decorated with stars and moons.

Unfortunately, the blanket was just decoration and wasn't available to purchase.

"Oh, but that's a bed set for little boys. Wouldn't you rather have a pretty pink or princess-type bed?" An older lady asked, walking into the area with a concerned look on her face.

"Yucky. Pink. Dis one." Miyuki replied, saying the most she's ever said before, making faces as she sat on the bed. This caused Vegeta to laugh outright while Bulma, Trunks, and Bulla just lightly chuckled.

Tien was waiting by the front door; he felt awkward looking for a bed for a child who didn't belong to him.

"If that's the one you want; that's the one you shall have." Trunks told Miyuki, watching her closely.

"I wonder if she'll want a dresser from this side as well." Bulma wondered out loud, looking at Miyuki.

But she didn't: Miyuki wanted a dark blue dresser with fairies on it.

While looking for a dresser, the older saleswoman kept popping up around corners or wherever to ask Miyuki if she was sure she didn't want a pretty pink/princess bed.

"Yucky. Pink." Miyuki would either reply—or hide her face in Trunks's shoulder.

"Fine… I give up." The woman grumbled, frustrated, before walking away.

"What's with her?" Vegeta asked, pissed off.

"She's just older. It's no excuse, but she grew up in an era where little girls were just that: little girls who liked dolls and pink, not blues and stuff like that. Is that it?" The first lady calmly explained and then asked.

"Do you sell desks?" Bulma asked, looking at the lady.

"No, sorry. You want desks, trunks, and stuff like that: you need to go next door." The lady answered.

"Ok. Well then, I guess we're done here." Bulma spoke, looking at Trunks, Miyuki, Vegeta, and Bulla.

"Besides, Miyuki's too little for a desk yet. That's one I'll wait to get her until she's bigger." Trunks calmly told Bulma.

"Are you planning on taking these items home today or do you want them delivered?" The lady asked at the checkout area.

"We're planning on taking them home with us today." Bulma answered.

"Ok… Do you need any help getting them to your vehicle?" The lady politely asked.

"No, we've got that taken care of. Can we go get them now?" Vegeta asked as calmly as he could.

"Yes, just show Vick the cards, and they'll take you to the actual items." The lady politely answered.

"Come on, Trunks, Tien." Vegeta instructed, ready to follow this Vick.

"Go with Mew-Mew. Pop-Pop, Mr. Tien, and I will be back in just a little bit; I promise." Trunks told Miyuki, handing her to Bulma.

"Da?" Miyuki asked, confused.

"He'll be right back." Bulma gently told Miyuki, bouncing her a little.

"Your total comes to $358.32." The lady informed Bulma after calculating everything.

Bulma paid for everything while Miyuki clung to her, waiting for Trunks.

At the same time, Bulla was standing at Bulma's side, trying to entertain Miyuki by playing Peekaboo. It worked for a little bit: Miyuki's anxiety started rising, and they could tell.

"It's ok, Pumpkin. Just a little longer; I'm sure they'll be back." Bulma gently told Miyuki, placing her on her hip, slightly bouncing her. After a few seconds, Bulma also started to make noises, making Miyuki giggle just a little.

"Here they come." Bulla announced, seeing Vegeta, Trunks, and Tien.

"Hey, get the door please." Vegeta instructed as he, Trunks, and Tien came up with the bedframe, footboard, headboard, dresser, and the dresser drawers.

The lady, several other workers, and several customers couldn't believe what they were seeing. None of them have ever seen just three men carrying that much before. Not even the store's strongest employer could carry things like that.

"Thanks for everything. Have a nice rest of your day." Bulma told the checkout lady, holding the door open.

"Uh-huh…" The lady replied, still in shock.

"Da!" Miyuki cried, reaching for Trunks as soon as they were outside.

"Hold on a second, please. We have to get everything in the truck." Trunks calmly told Miyuki before putting the bedframe in the back of the truck.

"Da! Da! Da!" Miyuki cried, desperately trying to get to him.

"Ok. Come here." Trunks replied, taking Miyuki from Bulma; she settled down immediately.

"Back into the car." Bulma told everyone.

"Are you ready to go to the next store?" Trunks asked Miyuki.

"K." Miyuki mumbled into Trunks' shoulder.

"Where are we going to next?" Vegeta asked, fearing the answer.

"To the mall." Bulma answered with a smile.

"Yay! The mall!" Bulla happily exclaimed.

"Yay… The mall." Vegeta muttered, looking out his window.

"Good girl." Trunks praised Miyuki when she didn't struggle as he put her in her seat this time.

"Damn fly." Bulma grumbled under her breath as a single fly went buzzing around the car.

Each time the fly flew over or around Miyuki, it had her full attention: nothing else mattered.

She hit the fly a few times—until she caught it.

"Hmm. No, Miyuki. Please don't eat that. Let me see." Trunks quickly but gently told Miyuki when she caught the fly and went to put it in her mouth.

Slowly, Miyuki gave Trunks the fly, and he released it out the window. Nothing seemed to be damaged as it flew away.

"I'm sorry, Princess, but we don't eat flies; they're not good for us. Seeing as traffic looks terrible, our ten minute ride is probably going to take fifteen to twenty minutes at the least: how would you like some cookies?" Trunks asked, digging through the bag of stuff from the gas station once Miyuki started fussing.

At the mention of cookies, Miyuki calmed down, and her eyes started sparkling.

"Here you go. Make sure you chew it really well before you swallow any of it. I don't want you choking." Trunks told Miyuki, handing her a small cookie.

Sixteen Minutes Later:

The Mall:

"Here we are." Bulma announced, pulling into a parking spot.

"It seems quiet today." Trunks noted, looking out his window before unsnapping Miyuki.

"This is quiet?" Vegeta asked, looking out his window to a sea of cars.

"Daddy, this is slow. If you want to come here on a day with a lot of people, you should come on a Friday evening or any time on a Saturday. Sundays are one of the slowest days for the mall because of Church, Sunday School, Bible Study, and families spending time together. And because it's hot out, a lot of people go to the pool." Bulla spoke up.

"She has a point. However, Church, Sunday School, and Bible Study would've ended a few hours ago. Now, we'd better hurry before people do start crowding in." Bulma added to what Bulla was saying as Trunks removed Miyuki from her seat.

"Mmmm! Mmmm! Mmmm!" Miyuki fussed when she dropped her bottle.

"Because she's only two, she can have her bottle with her." Bulma calmly told Trunks.

Trunks gave Miyuki her orange juice, and she calmed right down, slowly drinking it.

Clothes Shopping:

"Where are we starting?" Bulla asked, watching Trunks set Miyuki in a store wagon while Bulma got a cart.

"Yes, where are we going?" Bulma asked, looking at Trunks.

"I figured we'd start with clothes and then do all the fun stuff later. That way Miyuki's not distracted by anything else." Trunks replied, making sure Miyuki was comfortable.

"Which store do you want to start in?" Bulma asked, watching Miyuki crawl around in the wagon.

"Da!" Miyuki cried, not wanting anything to do with the wagon.

"Sir, would you like a stroller instead?" One of the mall workers asked, walking over with a stroller.

"Would you like to try the stroller instead?" Trunks asked, watching Miyuki.

"Yeah." Miyuki answered, standing, using the wagon's ledge to keep herself up.

"Thank you." Trunks thanked the worker, taking the stroller.

"No, thank you. I'll take that back for you." The worker replied, relieved, taking the wagon after making sure everything was out of it.

Trunks had taken the last wagon, thinking it would be best for Miyuki—not realizing she'd prefer a stroller.

The fact of the matter was Miyuki preferred the stroller because it was softer; it had padding that the wagon didn't.

Trunks had taken the last wagon. The worker was relieved he was willing to trade for a stroller because some entitled family came in and demanded a wagon.

A stroller?

No. No. No.

This couple had three kids, and having to push two strollers was too much of a hassle.

It was also too much of a hassle to walk to any of the mall's other entrances to see if there were any other wagons.

And the kids: well, about half the mall could hear them screaming because they couldn't have a wagon.

The truth of the matter is that the rest of the wagons were dispersed throughout the mall. They were either with people—or because people leave them wherever, whenever they're done with them.

"Is that better?" Trunks asked Miyuki after she was buckled in.

"Yeah." Miyuki softly answered, leaning back with her bottle.

"Where to?" Bulla asked, looking around.

"I don't know. I don't really come to the mall that often; I don't know where anything is. I was hoping Mom would lead the way." Trunks replied to Bulma's glee—and Vegeta's horror.

"Right this way." Bulma enthusiastically announced, leading the way.

"What did you do? We're never going to get out of here?" Vegeta growled.

"It's one day. And it's for Miyuki." Trunks replied, pushing Miyuki.

"Yeah; it's for Miyuki. So, suck it up. Besides: it's a good family day; we haven't had one of these days just us in a long time." Bulma added, guilting Vegeta.

'Damn woman.' Vegeta thought to himself, grumbling until he felt Miyuki's calming aura.

Five Minutes Later:

All the clothing stores were on the other side of the store, so it took a little bit to get there.

"Why didn't we park on this side of the mall? And these all look like adult clothes." Vegeta asked, annoyed.

"Because walking is good for us—and we'll most likely be all over the mall anyway: toys and such are on the west side. Blankets, pillows, and other home décor are on the east side. The food court and anything electronics are on the south side—the way we came in. And all the clothes are on the north side. And then you got everything else in-between. Now, come on; we have to get an elevator. Everything Miyuki-size is upstairs." Bulma answered, giving Vegeta directions.

"Bulla? What are you doing here? No Goten?" A girl with long, curly blonde hair and green eyes asked, walking over with a tall boy with short brown hair and brown eyes.

"Nana? And this must be your boyfriend…?" Bulla replied, asking—not remembering his name.

The guy made a puking face, sticking his finger in his mouth.

"Oh, God no. This is my cousin, Ringo. Ringo, this is one of my best friends, Bulla and her family: Bulma, Vegeta, and Trunks Briefs." Bulla's friend, Nana, introduced everyone.

"Who's the little girl?" Ringo asked, noticing Miyuki.

"Hmm? Oh, I don't know? Are you babysitting or something?" Nana asked, confused.

"No…" "She's my daughter. I just found out about her after her abusive mother kept her from me for whatever reason." Trunks answered, interrupting Bulla after seeing she didn't know what to say.

Trunks didn't like Nana; he thought she was a bad influence on Bulla. And he wasn't the only one: Bulma and Vegeta thought that way as well. However, as long as she didn't get Bulla into any kind of serious trouble, they wouldn't say anything. It's like Trunks with Daisy: they have to let them figure it out for themselves.

"There you two are. Oh, Mrs. and Mr. Briefs: what a pleasant surprise?" A woman spoke, walking over with her husband: these were Nana's parents.

"Dina, Steve—it's good to see you again." Bulma greeted as politely as she could.

Bulma didn't like Steve, but she didn't think he was a bad guy. Dina, however—she couldn't stand her.

And vice versa: Dina couldn't stand Bulma either.

Vegeta hated both of them.

Dina wanted Vegeta and Steve wanted Bulma—and everybody knew because they didn't hide the fact.

And what's worse?

Now, Nana wants Trunks. And just like her parents, she doesn't hide it.

"You have a child?!" Nana screeched after a few minutes of processing what she had just heard.

"Trunks has a child? Really now? Who's the mother?" Dina asked, interested.

"That's what I said: I have a daughter. As for her mother: that's none of your concern. And just for the record: I made a mistake with her mother, but my daughter is the furthest thing from a mistake. So, don't even think about going there. If I hear that word slips from any of your lips, I'll make your life a living hell by posting all of your dirty secrets around West City." Trunks firmly warned Dina, Nana, and Steve.

"You have nothing on us. Your freak of a child shouldn't be here." The three argued, striking a chord with Trunks—especially when Miyuki shrank into the stroller as much as she possibly could.

"Really—I have nothing on you? Ok, I'll play your games. First off: the only one I don't have anything on is Ringo because I don't know him."

"Nana: you've slept with over half of the guys at your school. Not only have you bragged about it; I've heard several of the guys saying stuff as well. You've also slept with three of your teachers: Mr. Daiki, Mr. Hoshiyo, and Mr. Kashi. Oh, and aside from me: you're trying to sleep with Goten—and even Gohan. Granted, you only started going after them a week ago. Yes, they tell me things; we're best friends. Also, I have no interest in you whatsoever."

"Dina: even though it didn't work, you went around stealing or changing votes so you could win mayor. You even tried sleeping with several police, male store managers, clerks, whoever else, and Mr. Satan—all of whom turned you down. You don't care if they're married or not, you'll go after any man you want—even if they don't want you. I don't know how many, but I do know there are plenty of men out there with restraining orders against you. Stay away from Dad because he has wants nothing to do with your skanky ass."

"And finally, Steve: you've been rigging elections for years, sleeping with your secretary, both of Dina's sisters, three of cousins—one of which is a guy, and you masturbate in public. I mean, at least you don't masturbate in areas where children are present—but still…"

"Don't tell me I don't have anything on you, because I have plenty. And yes, I have plenty more. So, call my daughter a mistake; I dare you. Just keep in mind: if you do, all of what I just told you, plus much, much more will be posted ALL around West City—and quite possibly neighboring towns and cities. Yes, being with MY daughter's mother was a mistake, but she is the furthest thing from being a mistake. And yes, her mother may be a whore, but you three are just as bad. Now, if that's all; we'll be upstairs. Good day." Trunks went off on all three of them; he was beyond pissed off before going to an elevator.

"Well—we have plenty of you!" Dina called, shocked at such "insolence."

"I doubt it." Trunks replied, stepping into an elevator.

"You're trying to sleep with Gohan and Goten?" Bulla asked, shocked, watching her so-called friend.

"Why not? They're hot." Nana replied.

"Stay away from them. Gohan's married with a daughter—one of my true best friends, Pan. And Goten's my mate." Bulla warned Nana before walking away with Bulma and Vegeta.

Once they left, Nana, Dina, and Steve were crowded by a lot of people who had nothing but questions.

While in the elevator, Trunks pulled out his phone and logged into his social media account. He rarely ever used it. He only used it to post important things, share random pictures, and see what old friends or family were up to.

"Hold still, Princess." Trunks told Miyuki before taking a picture of her.

Trunks Briefs: 19: Single

Status:

Spread the Word: I'm a Father!

I want everyone to hear this from me & not anybody else.

As many of you know, I met a girl named Daisy Cota & we started a rocky relationship when I was 15. We went from steady, to off & on, to finally breaking up after a few months. But roughly 3 years ago, we both got stupid drunk & had a night together.

It was a mistake that should have never happened. However, out of that mistake, I got a daughter that I didn't know about her until yesterday. The day after the party, Daisy & I argued: she told me if I got her pregnant, she wouldn't let me see my child, but she would demand child support. Well, in a sense, that's what she did: she kept my child from me but never contacted me about child support.

Yesterday, Child Protective Services came to my house & told me that Daisy died of a drug overdose & that she severely abused my daughter. They asked me if I wanted my daughter: I said yes. She is my daughter & I will take care of her. It's my responsibility to care for her for many reasons. I made a mistake, so I have to take care of the consequences.

With all that said, my daughter is NOT a mistake; she's a little miracle—my little miracle. She is also the best birthday present I've EVER received.

Her name is Miyuki: She's ½ Saiyan & ½ Nekodian & has cat ears.

Please don't make fun of or criticize her ears; she's incredibly sensitive about them. She was severely abused, so she has severe PTSD—& doesn't talk much.

My parents & sister love her just as much as well & have accepted her into our family.

If it's negative: I don't care what anyone else has to say. She's MY perfect the way she is, amazing, miracle daughter, not a mistake, accident, or a thing.

If you accept & respect how we feel, please share this post: I'm making it sharable.

If you can't accept or respect how we feel, please remove yourself from my friends list.

~Trunks & Miyuki~

"There we go. Now, hopefully people will see this and know just how important you are to me." Trunks told Miyuki, smiling at her as she looked back at him.

Not knowing where to go or what to look for, Trunks sat on a bench and waited for his parents and Bulla.

"Uh-oh…" Miyuki moaned, shaking her empty bottle.

"Well, I can't get you anymore orange juice or any kind of juice right now. Can we settle for water for now?" Trunks asked, taking the bottle.

"K." Miyuki replied, looking at Trunks.

"There you are. We've been looking for you." Bulma told Trunks, walking over to him with Vegeta and Bulla.

"I'm guessing you didn't use the same elevator as I did because I've been waiting right here—next to the elevator." Trunks replied, pointing to the elevator.

"No. We had to use the escalators because people—including reporters were crowding the elevators and Steve, Dina, and Nana. How did you know all that about them?" Bulma replied, watching Trunks.

"I hear and see things—more than I want to sometimes. Please watch Miyuki. She ran out of orange juice; I was going to rinse it out a little before filling it with water." Trunks replied before asking.

"Of course." Bulma happily replied before Trunks went to a bathroom.

"Da?" Miyuki asked, confused, trying to find Trunks.

"It's ok, Pumpkin. He just went to get you some water; he'll be right back. Do you want out of that stroller so you can watch for Daddy to come back?" Bulma assured Miyuki before asking her.

"Yeah." Miyuki answered, trying to sit up.

"Hold on. We have to unbuckle you first." Bulma told Miyuki, smiling as she knelt in front of her to unbuckle her.

"Uh-oh…" Miyuki moaned, tucking her legs up.

"What's wrong?" Bulma asked, concerned.

"Potty." Miyuki quietly spoke, trying to keep herself from peeing.

"Ok. Let's go. Let Trunks know Miyuki had to use the bathroom and that we'll be right out." Bulma told Vegeta and Bulla, rushing to the bathroom with Miyuki.

"With how she's been sucking down her juice, it doesn't surprise me she has to go to the bathroom so badly." Bulla stated, sitting on the bench.

"Yeah." Vegeta sighed, standing there, watching the cart and stroller.

"Ok—where are Mom and Miyuki?" Trunks asked, walking back over to the others.

"Miyuki had to use the bathroom, so your mother took her." Vegeta answered, watching the bathroom.

Three Minutes Later:

"Da!" Miyuki excitedly cried when Bulma walked out with her.

"Is everything ok?" Trunks asked, watching Bulma and Miyuki.

"Yeah, everything's just fine. Miyuki just really had to go. And I mean, really had to go; she spent a good minute or so peeing and then she pooped a little. She did so good." Bulma told Trunks, proudly praising Miyuki at the end.

"That's good. Well, are you ready to get some clothes?" Trunks replied before asking Miyuki and Bulma.

"K." Miyuki softly replied.

"Let's go; I know the perfect place. Come on." Bulma insisted, leading the way with Miyuki in her arms.

Simply Baby:

Simple and affordable clothes for infants and toddlers ages two through five.

Fashion Baby:

Fashionable and expensive clothes for infants and toddlers ages two through five.

Baby Gap:

Somewhere between simple and fashionable clothes for infants and toddlers ages two through five at a reasonable price.

All three stores were placed five feet apart on the back wall.

"Which one are we going to?" Bulma asked, looking at the three stores.

"Honestly, I would prefer most of her clothes come from Simply Baby—I think. That's the cheapest one, right?" Trunks asked, watching his mother.

"Yes." Bulma calmly replied.

Honestly, to Bulma: designer clothes weren't what made a person. And that's what she instilled in her children—despite Bulla loving them.

"Then, Simply Baby, it is. However, if you would like, you can get a few things from Baby Gap—and maybe one or two things from the other place." Trunks told Bulma.

"Yay! Let's see… The clothes Bulla got Miyuki are lovely and all—but they're just a little too big yet. I think she needs a size or two smaller. You guys wait here while Bulla and I take Miyuki to get clothes; she'll model for you as she tries them on. Come on, Pumpkin; Mew-Mew's on a mission!" Bulma happily ordered and exclaimed, taking Miyuki to find her some new clothes.

"Da?" Miyuki gave Trunks and Vegeta a confused look. All they could do was say, "Sorry."

Forty-Five Minutes Later:

"Where on earth is that woman?" Vegeta asked, annoyed looking at his watch.

"You know Mom… Do you remember how Grandma was when Bulla was Miyuki's age? Now Mom gets to be the grandma; she gets to spoil her grandchild. I think she feels awful that she didn't get to part of Miyuki's first few years of life. I know I feel like absolute shit for not being part of it—for not even knowing about her until yesterday. And with how Miyuki was severely abused, neglected, tortured, had nothing, and all that: that only makes it worse. Like me, I think Mom feels terrible, and wants to make up for it all. And yes: I know that's all in the past now—and I'll do what I can to keep it that way. And I will do everything in my power to keep her protected." Trunks explained, sighing as he tried to remain calm.

"Right. But she's been gone for almost an hour already—and we have two more clothing stores, plus wherever else yet." Vegeta huffed.

"And we'll all keep her protected." Vegeta determinedly added.

"I know you will. Thanks for all that." Trunks replied, leaning back on a bench.

"We're back!" Bulma announced with a smile, a cart full of clothes, Bulla, and Miyuki—they think.

"Mom—where's Miyuki?" Trunks asked right away, standing up.

"Don't worry; she's here—somewhere. We didn't lose her." Bulla told Trunks, looking around.

"Here she is." Bulma stated when Miyuki popped up in the back of the cart—from under all those clothes.

"Da!" Miyuki happily cried, seeing Trunks.

"Come on, Miyuki; time to try on your new clothes. Then you can show Daddy, Pop-Pop, and Uncle Tien what they look like on you." Bulma happily instructed, lifting Miyuki out of the cart.

"Minus the underwear, I hope." Trunks nervously spoke up.

"Of course, not. You can't try on underwear in stores anyway. So I got a few sizes she can try on at home; she'll eventually grow into what she's too small for." Bulma replied, watching Trunks.

"Where is Tien anyway? I haven't seen him since we entered the mall." Bulla asked, looking around.

"Now that you mention it; I don't know." Bulma replied, looking around.

"He's in the food court, talking to the shrimpy cueball about something or other." Vegeta stated, huffing a little.

"Oh, well—ok." Bulma replied, unsure.

"I think he feels awkward shopping for a little girl who's not his or something like that." Bulla spoke up.

"Yeah, I suppose that makes sense. You'll just have to model for Daddy and Pop-Pop." Bulma replied before telling Miyuki before taking her and all the clothes into the changing area.

The first outfit that Bulma stuck Miyuki in was a pretty purple dress.

"Ta-da! What do you think?" Bulma asked when she came out with a frowning Miyuki.

"She does not look happy." Vegeta stated when they saw Miyuki.

"What's wrong, Princess?" Trunks asked, watching Miyuki, who looked between him, Vegeta, Bulma, and Bulla.

Now she looked like she was going to cry.

"No like dwesses. No like dwesses at all. No wan make upset." Miyuki answered on the verge of tears.

"Oh, Pumpkin; don't cry or be upset. If you don't like dresses, we won't get you any." Bulma gently told Miyuki, trying to console her.

"Come here. Maybe Mew-Mew can get you some shorts to go underneath the dresses and even skirts. Would you like that?" Trunks suggested before asking.

"K." Miyuki replied, taking deep breaths, trying not to cry.

"Of course, I can do that. I'll be right back." Bulma happily announced, looking through the cart before taking off to put some things back—and get different clothes.

An Hour & A Half Later:

Bulma took over an hour to put back all but three dresses she found and replace them with skirts, skorts, shorts, and more shirts.

Well, that only took about fifteen minutes or so.

The rest of the time was taken up by changing Miyuki into and out of her new outfits.

In the end, Miyuki got:

· 12 pairs of shorts

· 7 skirts

· 6 skorts

· 3 dresses

· 7 pairs of pants

· Several shirts

· 2 swimsuits

· God only knows how much hair accessories

· A pair of tennis shoes

· A pair of sandals

· A pair of dress shoes

They went to Baby Gap next and got two new dresses before moving on to the next section of the mall.

"I thought you wanted to go to Fashion Baby as well." Bulla stated, watching Bulma.

"It's Summer, and most of their current outfits are dresses. I don't want Miyuki to feel uncomfortable—especially since we found her five dresses already. For her, I'd rather go to Fashion Baby for Fall or Winter apparel. But moving on. Where to next?" Bulma replied to Bulla before asking Trunks.

"I suppose we should head east for bedding and such." Trunks replied as they entered an elevator.

"If it's bedding for Miyuki, shouldn't we just have stayed on the second floor and headed east?" Bulla asked, making a point.

"We'll pick Tien up on the way there." Bulma replied, trying to save herself because Bulla was right.

Bedding & Blankets:

Five Minutes Later:

"There you are." Bulma called to Tien.

"Sorry about that. Between all the drama with those people you knew and running into Krillin, I figured, I'd stay here. Where'd you go anyway?" Tien replied before asking.

"Second floor. We have to go back up for Miyuki's blankets, pillows, and other bedding. Are you coming with? What'd Krillin want?" Bulma answered before asking.

"Yeah, I'll go with you. Krillin and a few other cops are here because there have been a few burglaries; the officers to respond get a bonus. He asked how Miyuki was doing: I told him she was still shy, but seemed to be settling in." Tien answered, walking to an escalator.

"Mmmm!" Miyuki cried, clinging to Trunks; she didn't seem to like the escalator.

"I have you." Trunks assured, holding Miyuki close. Though, that didn't seem to comfort her as she clung to Trunks and continued to cry.

"Maybe we should take the elevator down when we're done." Trunks sighed, rubbing Miyuki's back

"Agreed." Bulma replied, watching Miyuki.

"What's wrong with an escalator?" Nana asked, appearing next to them at the top.

"We can only imagine. And it's none of your business." Trunks sighed before walking away.

"Nana leave them alone; stop stalking them. Besides, your parents are looking for you; it's time to go home. Now, if only I could go home." Ringo firmly told Nana before mumbling to himself.

"Fine." Nana grumbled, heading down.

"Here we are." Bulma announced, stopping in front of Comfort for Toddlers.

Comfort for Toddlers was a store that catered to infants up to age six, selling blankets and pillows.

"Are you ready to pick out some blankets and pillows? What's wrong?" Trunks asked, only becoming concerned when Miyuki just started crying.

"Why?" Miyuki asked through tears, confused.

"Because you need blankets and pillows to be comfortable in your crib—and then your bed later on." Bulma gently answered.

"Why?" Miyuki asked again—and this time, Trunks thought he understood.

"You weren't allowed to have blankets and pillows before when you lived with your mommy, were you?" Trunks asked, watching Miyuki; she shook her head "no."

"I didn't think so. Well, that's not how it is anymore. You're not living with her anymore; she can't hurt you anymore. You're living with me, Mew-Mew, Pop-Pop, and Aunty Bulla now; we will never hurt you. All we want to do is love and care for you and show you that not everyone is bad. Miyuki, can you please let us help you? Please let us in." Trunks told Miyuki, pleading with her a little toward the end.

"And just like your dresser and future big girl bed, you'll be able to pick out whatever blankets and pillows you want." Bulma added, watching Miyuki.

All Miyuki could do was cry as she latched onto Trunks.

"Ehem… I don't mean to interrupt or anything, but maybe we should head in." Tien suggested, being the first to notice the people crowded around them, listening with tears in their eyes.

"Right. Come on. Where's the stroller?" Trunks replied before asking.

"Your father has the cart and stroller in the store already." Tien replied, looking in the store.

Vegeta went into the store as soon as people started crowding around them—and to get away from hearing about Daisy.

"Are you ok, Dear?" Bulma asked, watching Vegeta.

"Just peachy." Vegeta replied, watching Miyuki.

"Here. You need to hold her more than I do right now." Trunks told Vegeta, handing him Miyuki.

"Do you see anything you like?" Bulma asked, looking around.

After a few minutes, Miyuki pointed to a comforter set with stars, butterflies, and fairies for cribs.

Right now, Trunks decided he wasn't going to worry about bedding for her bed until Miyuki was ready to sleep in it.

Then it came to the extra blankets and pillows.

Boy, was Miyuki in heaven?

She found seven plush pillows in the shape and design of the seven dragon balls and a fuzzy rainbow body pillow.

For blankets: they were all plush:

· 1 plain blue

· 1 black, blue and purple

· 1 cheetah print

· 1 rainbow

· 1 with a kitty and puppy design

"Where's the toy shop up here?" Trunks asked, looking around after placing Miyuki in the stroller.

"Toys and all that are on the west side, but we're not going there." Bulma answered, confusing Trunks, Vegeta, Bulla, and Tien.

"Where else would we go?" Bulla asked, watching Bulma.

"It's getting late—and it seems like people are starting crowd in. I think it's becoming too much for Miyuki—and your father, so I figured we'd go to the toy store. It's got more of a selection for Miyuki than here. And instead of going from one store to another, everything Miyuki needs is in one place. Not only that, but the grocery store is five minutes from there—and we need to do some shopping before it starts raining." Bulma explained, walking to an elevator.

"Yeah—it's supposed to rain for the next few days, isn't it?" Trunks asked, remembering what he heard on the weather.

"Isn't the toy store fifteen or twenty minutes from here?" Bulla asked once they were in the elevator.

"Yep. Normally, I wouldn't do it like this, but Miyuki's stressed out—and looks like she needs a nap. I know it's getting late. If we have to, I'll order pizza or something for dinner tonight." Bulma stated, exiting the elevator.

"If you want, I can put the roast in the oven while you're getting stuff in the car. It takes what—four hours to cook? I'm sure we'll be at the toy store and grocery shopping for at least two and a half or three hours." Vegeta offered, watching Bulma. He was looking forward to the roast she was planning for that night.

"If you want to, that'd be great. You know where the roast is currently?" Bulma asked, watching Vegeta. She knew better than to ask if he knew what to do because she knew he was a great cook.

"Yeah, I know where it is." Vegeta replied as they walked through the mall.

"Heading out?" The mall greeter from before asked, watching the family.

"Yes, sir." Trunks replied, going to remove Miyuki from the stroller.

"We'll meet you at the car." Bulma told Trunks as Vegeta teleported home to start dinner.

"Ok." Trunks replied, getting hold of Miyuki, not realizing she didn't have her bottle.

"I'll take the stroller for you." The greeter insisted once Trunks had Miyuki.

"Thank you." Trunks replied before exiting the mall.

"Mmm…" Miyuki moaned when a breeze hit her face.

"We'll be in the car shortly." Trunks replied, rubbing her back.

"Sir!" Trunks heard a female yell, but he ignored her.

"Sir!" The female yelled again.

"Sir!" A third time, this time getting Trunks's attention.

"Are you calling for me?" Trunks asked, confused, watching for cars.

A girl with shoulder-length purple hair and brown eyes in her early to mid-twenties stood behind Trunks, panting a little.

"Yes. Sorry. It's just—this fell out of the stroller you were using." The woman replied, holding up Miyuki's bottle.

"Oh? Oh. Shoot. Thank you. I thought Mom grabbed this. Did you follow us for long?" Trunks asked, watching the girl after thanking her.

The mall became hectic, and he couldn't hear anyone calling for him inside.

"It fell out as you were leaving the elevator. We didn't notice until my dad kicked the bottle; he wasn't sure if it was you, but you were the only one with a small child in a stroller. I just had a hunch. And if I were wrong, there'd be an upset baby somewhere. So, I'm glad I was right." The girl explained, still a little out of breath.

"Well, thank you so very much. I don't know what we'd do without this; we've still got a few places to go before going home." Trunks replied, holding Miyuki and the bottle.

"It's no problem. I'm just glad I could help. Oh, and I'm sorry about your daughter—being abused and everything. I didn't know Daisy all that well, but my older brother had a major crush on her; so, I knew of her. I knew she had sons, but I didn't know she had a daughter until a few months ago. I also knew she was crazy, but not abusive. If I would've known I would've contacted someone right away. Sorry. I heard part of your speech earlier. And someone recorded it, so it was playing all over the electronics section of the mall. I wanted to apologize because I didn't do anything." The girl explained and apologized.

"Thank you, but don't apologize; it's not on you. I didn't know either. If you had known about the abuse, it'd be a different story. But you knew as much as I did. I have to get Miyuki in the car, and you should probably get back inside. And I have no doubt you would've done something if you would've known. Thank you." Trunks told the girl.

"You're welcome. Bye." The girl replied before they went their separate ways.

"Who was that?" Vegeta asked, watching the girl walk away.

"I have no clue. Miyuki's bottle fell out of the stroller when we were getting off the elevator; she was just returning it. She was telling me her brother had a crush on Daisy, and that she knew of her, but not directly. She knew Daisy had sons, but not Miyuki until a few months ago. We talked about how she would've helped if she knew. That's about it. All I want is to take care of my daughter and get her what she needs and wants—to a point. I don't want her to be spoiled rotten, but after all she's been through; Miyuki does deserve to be a little spoiled for a sometime." Trunks answered and then explained before hooking Miyuki into her car seat.

"Mmmm…" Miyuki moaned, stretching once she was strapped in.

"She's a Briefs: you know she'll be spoiled." Bulma proudly stated.

"What are you going to do about her bottle? You never know where it's been now that it fell on the ground." Bulla stated after asking.

"And you most certainly do not know that girl. You don't know how honest she is or isn't." Vegeta plainly stated.

"Yes, I know." Trunks sighed, helping pack the rest of Miyuki's things in the back of the truck.

"I'll test it later tonight to see if there's anything on it. For now, she'll just have to drink from one of her juice bottles from the gas station if she gets thirsty." Bulma insisted as they got in the car.

Half An Hour Later:

Books, Arts & Craft Stuff, Music & Toys:

"Here we are." Bulma announced, pulling into a parking space.

"Did you have a nice nap?" Trunks asked Miyuki as she slowly started waking up.

"Yeah." Miyuki softly answered, stretching before looking around.

"Are you thirty?" Trunks asked, noticing she was looking for something.

"Yeah." Miyuki softly answered.

"Your bottle fell and got dirty, so you're going to have to drink your juice right from the bottle it comes in, ok? Do you want to try some fruit punch?" Trunks told Miyuki before asking.

"K." Miyuki replied, waiting.

"We have two more stops left: the final stop will be groceries. But for now: Miyuki, are you ready to get toys, stuffed animals, dolls, and other fun stuff?" Bulma asked, smiling. She would've said movies, but she still had all those movies from when she was a kid and when Trunks and Bulla were kids.

"Who?" Miyuki asked, confused.

"For you." Trunks and Bulma answered.

"Me?" Miyuki asked, just as, if not more confused.

"Yep." Bulma replied with a smile.

That smile, however, disappeared—as did everyone else's when Miyuki started bawling.

"What's wrong?" Trunks asked, unhooking Miyuki from her car seat.

"No gwet toys eber! Neber good gwet toys! No deserb toys!" Miyuki cried, nearly screaming her little lungs out.

"Of course, you deserve to get toys and such…" "No, don't!" Miyuki screamed, hyperventilating, interrupting Trunks.

"Ok, Miyuki it's time to calm down now; it's time to listen. Ok? You're not with her anymore; you're with us. And from what we've seen of you; you've been perfectly behaved. You're not a bad girl. And after all the stuff you've been through; you deserve to be treated like the good girl you are—like a little princess. You're certainly my little princess." Trunks gently yet firmly told Miyuki, setting her on his lap, making her look at him while he talked to her.

Miyuki just sat there, watching and listening to Trunk, trying to calm her breathing with tears running down her face.

"You're our princess as well." Vegeta calmly told Miyuki. Yet, on the inside, he was seething with rage.

'That bitch is so lucky she's dead! And if those men show up for her: they'll be dead as well. And I will make sure they all die a slow and painful death.' Vegeta angrily and evilly thought to himself.

"You're my sweet little pumpkin." Bulma gently told Miyuki, looking back at her.

"When you get older, we'll do all sorts of fun things together. All the things you can't do now because you're too small. For now, maybe we'll watch movies and I'll teach you how to pick on your dad." Bulla told Miyuki, trying not to shoot herself in the foot.

"You see? You have people who love you very much.

And we're not the only ones; you've got all of our friends, Mr. Tien, Goku, Chi-Chi, Gohan, Goten, Pan, Mr. Piccolo, Krillin, 18, Marron, and many more. So, when you're ready to calm down, we're going to go into the store, and you can get some toys and many other things. Ok?" Trunks calmly explained, bringing Miyuki into a soft, gentle hug. At the same time, he looked at his parents, concerned; he wasn't a hundred percent sure what to do. He, however, smiled when his mother mouthed, "you did and are doing just fine."

"I'm going to step out and talk with Tien. I'm going to explain what's going on and why we haven't gotten out yet." Vegeta told Bulma.

In reality, he was just pissed and needed to let off some steam. He didn't want Miyuki to see or hear him; she was already upset enough as it was.

"Ok. We'll be out soon—hopefully." Bulma replied, watching Vegeta get out.

"No! No! No mad! Pop-Pop no mad!" Miyuki hysterically cried.

"Pop-Pop's not mad at you. Ok. Yes, he's mad, but not at you; you did NOTHING wrong. He knows that; he's just going to talk with Mr. Tien about something important. Ok. Calm down. Relax. Breathe. Good girl. Good girl." Trunks told Miyuki, soothing her to the best of his ability.

With Vegeta & Tien:

"GAHHH! DAMNIT ALL TO HELL!" Vegeta yelled into nothingness after he flew into the sky, away from people. Honestly, he didn't care who heard him, so long as Miyuki didn't.

"What's going on?" Tien asked when he caught up to Vegeta after he walked past the truck.

"That bitch has messed up that little girl's mind so much!" Vegeta snapped after he got done yelling.

"You mean her mother? What's going on?" Tien asked, concerned.

"Miyuki's in the car freaking out because we're taking her to get toys and whatever. She doesn't believe she deserves toys or such because she thinks she's a "bad girl." That's a bunch of horse shit; she's one of the most perfectly behaved girls I've ever met. I'm not saying Bulla wasn't a good girl because at Miyuki's age, she was. She's still a good girl; she just has attitude now—and a lot of it. But Miyuki… She's—she's…" Vegeta exclaimed and then got stumped with finding the right word.

"Different? Vegeta, calm down. Bulla is your daughter; you're always going to love her no matter what she does. But Miyuki is your granddaughter. Your granddaughter who is tiny, and who was severely abused. From what I've seen: parents always treat their grandchildren differently than their children. Something to do with they don't have to punish them—unless their raising them. But knowing Trunks: I can see him raising Miyuki just fine. But he has some of the best parents and sister to help him. With Miyuki, you can just lay back and relax—well, until it comes to protecting her. For the most part, you know that Bulla can take care of herself: Miyuki can't—and may never be able to. All that matters is that you love them all; they're your family." Tien wisely explained.

"You seem to know a lot about her ability. Why is it she can calm others down in the way she does, but not herself?" Vegeta asked, watching Tien.

"I'm not exactly sure on that—other then I just don't think that's how it works." Tien explained, looking at Vegeta.

"Yeah, yeah, yeah… I suppose we'd better get back down there." Vegeta replied, calmer now.

"Right. Let's go." Tien replied, watching Vegeta.

'There's more to why he feels so differently towards Miyuki than Bulla; I know there is. I just don't know what or why.' Tien thought to himself, following Vegeta.

"Feeling better?" Bulma asked when Vegeta and Tien landed.

"Much. What about her?" Vegeta asked when he saw Miyuki in Trunks's arms, still sniffling.

"She's calmed down enough to go into the store. She's been asking about you—about where you went. She asked if you were mad at her. We told her you weren't—that you were just going to talk to Mr. Tien." Bulma explained, watching Miyuki.

Vegeta just sighed before walking over to Trunks and Miyuki; he held his arms out for her. Trunks handed her over right away.

"I'm not mad at you; you didn't do anything wrong. I just needed talk to Tien about something that was on my mind—something that was bothering me. But it's nothing you need to worry about. So, how about we get you some toys and whatever else?" Vegeta firmly told Miyuki, looking her in the eyes, holding her by her waist in front of him.

"K." Miyuki replied, sniffling a little.

"Well, then; let's head in." Bulma instructed with a smile as Vegeta handed Miyuki back to Trunks.

However, once they got inside, they set Miyuki in the front of a cart.

"Where should we start first? Wha—Mom, how many carts do you think we need?" Trunks asked when he saw that Bulma got a cart and made Vegeta and Tien get carts as well.

"Well, one cart for toys and such. One cart for books, puzzles, coloring books, music stuff, and other artsy stuff she may want. One cart for… Oh. Umm… He's right. Tien you can put your cart away?" Bulma answered, realizing they didn't need four carts before asking Tien.

"What about the cart you have me pushing?" Vegeta asked, slightly annoyed.

"Possibly for any extra stuff we may find. And we start with the books: toys and all that are last." Bulma happily answered, walking ahead of everyone while Trunks and Vegeta just gave each other looks.

Tien was headed up the back.

"Is there any types of books you like in particular?" Tien asked once they reached the books.

"No weed." Miyuki softly replied.

"It's ok. One of us will read to you at night." Trunks told Miyuki.

"Dat one?" Miyuki asked, pointing to A Very Hungry Caterpillar.

After a few minutes, she picked out a good amount of small children's books:

· The Dumb Bunnies

· The Stupids

· Cat Kong

· Dogzilla

· A book of Nursery Rhymes

· Green Eggs and Ham

· The Cat in the Hat

· A few Wishbone books

· And so many more

Music was the next stop:

"Mom—she doesn't need an iPod or MP3 player; she's only two." Trunks firmly told Bulma, looking at her in disbelief.

"Well—how about a CD player at least?" Bulma asked, looking at a cute blue CD player decorated with pink butterflies meant for kids.

"That's fine." Trunks agreed, looking at CDs.

They ended up finding her a few children's CDs with the classic songs from when they (Bulma, Trunks & Bulla) were kids.

Next, they found the aisle with coloring books and other arts and crafts. Bulma just kind of threw every kid-appropriate coloring book in the cart, along with god only knows how many crayons, colored pencils, markers, and sidewalk chalk.

There was so much more Bulma wanted to get as well, but Trunks put a stop to them because Miyuki was still too small for beads, pom-poms, feathers, and who knows what else? Bulma would never forgive herself if Miyuki accidentally ate something and ended up choking or something.

However, she did get her some playdough.

"I will never understand why they don't just put those books for coloring with all the other books. I mean, they are called books after all." Vegeta grumbled as they walked through the store.

"Just because they're called books, doesn't mean they're the same thing. Books are something to read while coloring books are something to color in, so they're put into the arts & crafts section." Bulma explained in a matter-of-fact tone.

"Mmmm! Mmmm! Mmmm!" Miyuki started to get fussy.

One: she needed to use the bathroom; that was evident by how red her face was getting.

Two: she just didn't want to be in that cart anymore.

Three: she was just tired.

"I'll take her to the bathroom; meet us in the toys and such." Bulma instructed, lifting Miyuki before rushing her to the bathroom. They just barely made it in time: Miyuki started going as soon as her pull-up was down.

"Oh, Miyuki: you need to tell someone when you need to go potty. It doesn't matter where we are; most everywhere has a bathroom." Bulma gently told Miyuki, holding her over the toilet.

"Sowee." Miyuki guiltily apologized as she finished up.

"It's ok; it's not your fault. And you're not in trouble. But now you know for next time." Bulma replied as she got Miyuki redressed, situated, and then wiped up the floor.

"Mom, are you in here?" Bulla asked, walking in.

"What's going on?" Bulma asked, walking out of the stall with Miyuki.

"Nothing. I just needed to use the bathroom. I just didn't know if you were in this bathroom or a different one." Bulla replied.

"Ah. You found us." Bulma replied, helping Miyuki wash her hands.

"Come on; let's get going. I'm sure the guys are waiting for us." Bulma instructed as Bulla washed her hands.

"Da!" Miyuki happily cried when she saw Trunks.

"What are you guys doing back here?" Bulma asked when she opened the door to reveal the guys waiting.

"We had to pee." Vegeta not so subtly answered, crossing his arms.

"Well let's get going." Bulma insisted, placing Miyuki back in the cart. Well, trying to place Miyuki in the cart. Every time she tried, Miyuki would tuck her legs up and refuse to sit back down; she had been sitting too long, and her butt was starting to hurt.

"It's fine; I'll carry her." Trunks insisted after watching Bulma struggle with Miyuki.

"Someone's getting tired." Vegeta noted, looking at Miyuki as she laid her head on Trunks's shoulder.

"I don't know how; she slept in the car." Bulla stated, stunned.

"It's ok, Miyuki; I know it's been a long day. But we have two more stops: toys and groceries." Bulma calmly told Miyuki as Trunks rubbed her back.

"Bulla, do you want to wait in the car?" Bulma asked, watching Bulla.

"Can I?" Bulla asked, somewhat shocked.

"As long as you sit in the back and don't go joyriding." Bulma replied.

"Can I use my phone?" Bulla asked, watching Bulma.

"I don't care." Bulma replied, watching Miyuki.

"Thank you. But before I go… I only have $10.00 on me. Make sure Miyuki gets something niceish—or put it in a piggy bank or something." Bulla thanked Bulma, taking the keys. But before she left, she gave Trunks $10.00 for Miyuki.

"Piggy bank. I knew I was forgetting something." Bulma mentally smacked herself.

"We have plenty of time to get her a piggy bank." Trunks calmly told Bulma, heading to the toys with her, Miyuki, Vegeta, and Tien.

Three Minutes Later:

"Here we are." Trunks stated, walking down an aisle.

Looking around, Miyuki became overwhelmed by the sheer amount of stuff.

"Go ahead; pick out what you want. Where did your father and Tien go?" Bulma insisted, smiling, and then asked Trunks when she noticed that Vegeta and Tien had disappeared.

"I'm not sure. Dad said he needed to go do something and took Tien with him. And yes, they took the spare cart with them." Trunks responded as Miyuki looked around.

"That's weird; usually he tells me when he's going to disappear like that." Bulma stated, looking around.

"I don't know what to tell you. Oh, did you find something?" Trunks asked when Miyuki started reaching for a stuffed bear.

"Keep looking. Pumpkin, I was serious when I said find everything you want. Don't worry about the price; that's grown up business." Bulma told Miyuki with a smile.

In the end, Miyuki had found a butt-load of stuffed animals, beanie babies, a few dolls, some random toys, giant blocks, and a large bouncy ball.

It looked like she wanted other things, but she wanted the things she picked out more.

"You know, you can get the other things you wanted as well." Bulma told Miyuki when Trunks started gently rocking her.

"No wan spen too muss. No wan be spoil." Miyuki softly spoke with a yawn.

"Awww! I love you sooo much!" Bulma happily exclaimed, taking Miyuki from Trunks and just hugged and squeezed the life out of her.

"What's going on over here?" Vegeta asked, showing up with Tien but without his cart.

"Where did you go? Where's the cart?" Bulma asked, looking at Vegeta.

"Never mind any of that. What's going on over here?" Vegeta asked again.

"Miyuki's so adorable! I told her that she could get whatever she wanted after she picked out a lot of things. But she said that she didn't want us to spend too much and that she already got enough stuff; she didn't want to become spoiled. She is such a sweet little girl!" Bulma excitedly exclaimed, hugging Miyuki again before Trunks took her back.

"Are we done here?" Vegeta asked, watching his wife coo.

"Yep. Oooh! Look! Piggy Banks! Do you want a butterfly one?" Bulma answered before seeing all sorts of different piggy banks. She then asked Miyuki if she wanted a butterfly bank because Miyuki seemed to like butterflies and fairies.

"Kitty?" Miyuki asked, pointing to a black, orange, and white cat bank with a red necktie around its neck.

"Of course. Now, we're done." Bulma happily replied, grabbing the kitty bank before answering Vegeta.

"Great. Let's go check out now." Vegeta impatiently insisted as they started walking.

Vegeta pushed the cart for Bulma while Tien took the other cart for Trunks while he carried Miyuki.

"Ok, Trunks and I got this. Why don't one of you take Miyuki outside or something to wait?" Bulma suggested as they waited in the checkout lane.

"I'll take her." Vegeta immediately offered, looking at Trunks; he was in the same line that he was in before. But I'll get to that later.

"Ok. And Vegeta: if you do the claw machines, don't get all pissy if you don't win anything and break the machine like last time. Actually, Tien: please go with him and keep an eye on him." Bulma firmly told Vegeta before telling Tien.

"Ok." Tien replied before he followed Vegeta and Miyuki.

Meanwhile, Trunks stayed back to help Bulma.

"Do you want to try the claw machine?" Vegeta asked when they looked at the machines.

Miyuki just stared at the machine and then at Vegeta and Tien, confused.

"You put money in this machine—like this. Then you take a hold of this joystick thing and guide it to whatever stuffed animal you want—like this. And then finally, when you have the claws over the toy—like that, you push this red button like this to drop the claws to try to get the toy." Vegeta explained, showing Miyuki step by step how to use the machine. He, by the way, was holding her under his arm while he was demonstrating.

"Gahhh… That's not what I wanted though." Vegeta grumbled through gritted teeth when he pulled out a pink and purple stuffed cat.

"What were you going for?" Tien curiously asked.

"The brown monkey with the green mohawk hairstyle thing." Vegeta answered, annoyed.

"Kitty." Miyuki softly spoke, looking at Vegeta's prize.

"Yeah; you can have this. Do you want to try and play a round before we head out?" Vegeta asked his very favorite (only) granddaughter.

"Try pease." Miyuki replied.

Vegeta didn't reply; he just put a dollar in the machine.

"Ok. You can start now." Vegeta told Miyuki once she was able to play.

Miyuki took hold of the joystick while Vegeta held her up to see, and off she went.

Needless to say, when she was done, Vegeta and Tien were very shocked.

"Do good?" Miyuki asked, looking at Vegeta and Tien, confused.

In one turn, on her first try: Miyuki somehow managed to grab three stuffed animals at once—including the monkey Vegeta was trying to get. The other two were a blue and green dog and a rainbow horse.

"You did great, Sweetie." Vegeta calmly replied, lifting Miyuki and the stuffed animals into his arms.

"We've just never seen anyone do anything like that before." Tien added, still in shock.

"Let's go wait out by the car and truck." Vegeta suggested, walking out of the store with Tien in toe.

"Pitty." Miyuki said, looking around outside; the sun had begun to set.

"Yes, very pretty." Tien agreed, looking at the sky.

"One more stop. One more stop." Vegeta grumbled, setting Miyuki in her car seat along with her stuffed animals.

"Are you done? Where are Mom and Trunks?" Bulla asked, waking up from a nap.

"Yes, we're done. They're still in the store, checking everything out." Vegeta answered, watching Miyuki. He didn't buckle her in; he just sat her in her seat.

"I'll get ready to help." Bulla stated, sitting up straight when she saw Bulma, Trunks, and a store person coming.

"No; you stay in the car and watch Miyuki. If you can get her buckled in; please do so." Vegeta firmly told Bulla, getting out of the car, shutting the door behind him.

"Is that everything?" Vegeta asked in disbelief.

"Yep. Where's Bulla?" Bulma asked, looking at the car.

"I told her to stay in the car and watch Miyuki." Vegeta answered, watching his wife.

"Ok. Well, let's get everything in the truck so we can go grocery shopping." Bulma instructed, leading the way.

It took ten minutes, but they got everything into the moving van and were on to their next destination.

Ten Minutes Later:

"Ok, Miyuki: we have one final stop before we go home. Are you ready?" Trunks asked, removing Miyuki from her seat for the fourth time.

"Mmmm…" Miyuki moaned, leaning her head against his shoulder.

"Oh, I know; it's been a long day." Trunks replied, rubbing her back.

"Let's get this done and over with; I want to go home and relax." Vegeta informed his wife.

"Right." Bulma agreed as they walked into the store, put Miyuki in a cart, and headed off.

They were in there for about an hour getting all they needed, plus some extra things.

Bulma wanted to get this done and over with because they were in for some nasty weather in the next few days. And she wanted to get all her shopping done now before everyone else did—the day before like crazy people.

Bulma got her favorite wine.

Vegeta got his favorite meat.

Trunks got the protein bars that only he likes.

Bulla got the cookies she loved.

Miyuki wanted cupcakes, fruit loops, and pasta with white sauce because she didn't like the red sauce. They had samples.

Bulma even got Tien some of his favorite instant meals and tea for all the help he's provided.

"Well, that does it. Let's get home." Bulma informed everyone as she packed the car.

On the way home, Miyuki completely zonked out.

End Flashback:

"So, where did you and Tien disappear to earlier?" Bulma asked Vegeta.

Tien had left once they got everything in the house.

"Seriously, Woman? Didn't you see the giant boxes with the outdoor play set and the giant toy house?" Vegeta asked, looking at Bulma.

"No—I guess I didn't; I was too busy putting away groceries with Trunks and checking the roast." Bulma answered, slightly annoyed.

Just then, bright lights appeared in the backyard, and some kind of spaceship appeared.

"What in the world?" Trunks asked as they shielded their eyes from the blinding light.

"Hey." A familiar voice greeted opening the door; it was future Trunks…

Plz see my first ever poll or head on over to AO3 in the end notes to see the choices:

It will be explained in the next chapter, but Miyuki's hair color is going to change from brown to dark red or dark purple. I made Miyuki on IOS app, Unniedoll.

plz let me know which hair color suits Miyuki better because I'm actually really struggling with what her hair color should become.:

I have the dark purple because it is going from brown to this new color & Trunks's hair is violet.

I have the dark red because again, it is going from brown to the new color, but from what I remember, way back when, Vegeta had dark red hair for a little bit.

Plz let me know.
