Lightning drifted around the dirt turn. Turn right to go left. Just as Doc had taught him. With a smile on his face, he gunned it through the dirt and sand! Up the sidewalls of the incline and back down out of the turn. Hitting that point to drift around in perfect timing. Loving every second of it. He noticed Cal up at the peak. Watching. Lightning slowed the car down and drove off track and up to the top where he parked and got out the window. Cal crossed his arms and greeted, "Morning." Lightning walked over and replied the same. Both men stared down at the old track. "Nice view from up here." Complimented Cal. Lightning nodded replying, "Might make a good place for a house or somethin' one day." "Yeah, maybe," Cal muttered. Lightning smiled and asked, "How is Meg doing?" Cal smiled thinking of her and the baby they were having. "Great. She barely feels it right now. If it weren't for the test, I'm not sure we would have ever known." He joked.
Lightning chuckled at that then asked, "Are you sure you are ready? For a baby? A family?" Cal snickered, smiling, "Yes, Sir." "How did you know?-Do you know?" "I don't know. I just.. Knew. I mean it wasn't like we were trying to have one. Sort of. I mean.. I'm just ready for this chapter, McQueen." "I'm glad. Happy for you. But you gotta admit. It's going to be weird. Seeing you around here with a kid." Lightning teased. Cal chuckled and nodded, "Yeah. Don't think I'm gonna let you have one up on me on the track either due to lack of sleep that'll cause me either." Cal warned. Lightning rolled his eyes with a smile. Cal then patted Lightning's back and asked, "Are you ready for this? Just a few hours away now. We should start getting ready." Cal reminded. Lightning took a deep breath. Staring out at the track before his friend and answering, "Yeah, I'm ready. I just gotta make one last stop before getting ready." "Alright... But don't take too long. You need a shower before your wedding. You smell like sweat and sand. And at this point, I can't tell if you're a golden blonde or have that much dirt in your hair." Cal joked.
Lighting rolled his eyes once more than assured, "I'll be at the motel in like an hour. An hour and a half tops! I gotta do something. See someone real quick." "Doc?" Asked Cal. Lightning made his way to the race car before nodding. Getting into the car and backing out before heading out to visit his mentor and important person in life...
Sally sat in the chair as Flo began unraveling the curls. Flo smiled and sighed, "Well.. You don't have your natural blonde back exactly, but... It's pretty darn close." Sally smiled, "Thanks, Flo. I can not believe I ever dyed it all those crazy colors!" Jesse then with, "I liked it! IT was a small change for a bit." Meg stuffed a cracker in her face and added, "Think it was a bit much. I'd kill for your blonde hair." Jesse raised a brow and asked, "Have you eaten the entire box of ritz?" Meg's brows lowered as she defended, "It's the baby." "You are stress eating." Jesse corrected. Meg's eyes teared up as she whined, "No, I'm not.." Everyone stared at her a moment. She was very emotional today. Minty walked up and stood in front of Sally. Looking at her makeup that was finished. "You look beautiful, dear." Sally smiled up at Minty and replied, "Thanks." "My Monty sure is a lucky man. I'm glad you two are getting married. I'm happy to call you my daughter, Sally." "Awe.. Thanks, Minty."
Flo then asked Minty, "Do you think the groom is a nervous wreck by now?" Minty giggled a little before answering, "Maybe. Monty gets nervous, but when he is sure of something, he's more confident than nervous." Sally looked up and said, "I'll bet he's more nervous really. He said he tried proposing multiple times.. Plus, with how crazy I had been acting lately... I probably gave him reason to rethink marrying me." She frowned. Minty snickered and disagreed, "No way. Sure, he took a few tries on the proposal. But only because he wanted it to be perfect for you, Darlin." Meg then asked, "Do you know where the Honeymoon is?" "Home." Sally answered, "I think with how busy we always are, we are staying here." Jesse raised a brow and asked, "What? Why? He's off for the week." Meg nodded adding, "And you have people helping with the motels."
Flo then with, "Ramone and I told you not to worry and go somewhere. What happened to Paris?" Sally frowned before answering, "Yeah, well... I hoped Paris a little but.. Lightning didn't have time to book us any sort of fancy vacation for that. Besides, he's.. Afraid to leave the country right now." "Wait-what?" Minty asked. Sally nodded and explained, "We talked a while back about it. Lightning still has nightmares about the whole Grand Prix thing." Meg gasped as her eyes feared up. Her emotions are everywhere right now. Flo then asked, "Is he not talking to a professional about it?" Sally shook her head, "Nope." Minty frowned. Hating that her son was suffering so much from what had happened. "He never told me about that.." Minty muttered. Sally shrugged. But that made Minty realize, Lightning didn't tell his Mom everything. He still hid little things because of his ego mostly...
Lightning sat down in front of Doc's grave. Letting out a sigh. Staring at Doc's name. Staring at the ground where Doc lay beneath him. That hurt to think about. "Wish you were here for this." He began. "I'd love to have you here. To celebrate and help me with my nerves. I'm not nervous really, just.. Nervous.. Not in a bad way, of course. I want this. I can't wait for Sally to be my wife and.." He paused and sighed. It wasn't the same. He missed talking to Doc in person s badly. Especially for this milestone. "I couldn't take her to Pairs. I hate that, but.. I have a plan. I think you'd tell me it's a good one. Since I can't travel out too far right now." Nothing of course. Lightning frowned as he stared at the tombstone. "Well... Wish me luck." He joked. SO quiet out here. Lightning stared at the grave for a few more minutes before standing and brushing his hand over the stone and heading out to the motel...
Lightning sighed and stared into the mirror before him. Bobby walked up and leaned on Lightning's shoulder saying, "Look good. Not as good as me, but good." Cal then with, "Are you nervous?" LIghtning snickered, "No. No, I'm.. Fine." Bobby laughed a little before replying, "Totally believe that." Lightning glared. Luigi then walked in and announced, "Everything is set and ready for after the wedding." Lightning smiled and thanked his friend. Luigi then walked back out, closing the door. Bobby sat down and asked, "What exactly are you doing again? Some make-believe vacation?" Cal then scolded, "He's trying to give Sally what she wanted. It's romantic." Bobby snickered with, "Or cheap." "Don't," Cal growled. Lightning then butted in with, "It's fine, Cal. Bobby isn't talking me down or out of it. I think it's good. It's good, right?" Lightning asked Bobby. Bobby shrugged.
Cal saw it in Lightning's face. He was nervous. Getting more and more nervous. Lightning glanced at his watch then let out a nervous, deep breath. Bobby walked over to the table where some vodka sat in a bottle. He opened it and poured it into a shot glass. Three. Then handed one to Cal and one to Lightning before taking one for himself. He stared at the mirror at him and his friend then assured, "Relax. You and Sally are perfect, man." Taking his shot down. Lightning stared into the liquid a moment. Not sure he should drink on such an uneasy stomach right now. Lighting swallowed nervously then asked, "If I'm so ready, why am I so nervous?" Cal walked over and handed Bobby his shot. Bobby gladly took that one down too. Cal glared a moment then looked at Lightning and assured, "That is normal. It's a big day and a big deal for you and Sally. But do you really want to second guess?" "I"m not second-guessing, guys. I want this but what if I fuck it up? I fuck everything good up for myself.. I'm a jinx when it comes to these things." Bobby rolled his eyes.
Cal continued, "You are nervous about your vows. Relax." Bobby than with, "Take a shot and breathe." LIghtning glanced at his friend then at the vodka and took the shot down quickly. Making a bit of a face as it burned the back of his throat. Bobby took the glass and set it down with the others before asking, "So any big plans tonight?" He winked as she came and stood next to his friend. Lightning shook his head answering, "No. I mean, dinner and"-" And a hell of a night. Gonna be up all night wearing it in, huh?" Bobby teased. Lightning rolled his eyes as Bobby continued, "I always say, if she can walk in a straight line, you're not doing it right." Cal glared and scolded, "That's horrible." "It's true. It's hot watching a woman walk away from all tipsy like but sober as hell and just been fucked so hard she can barely catch her breath." Lightning then growled, "Stop, that's not helping me right now. No, I don't plan on it.. Crippling my wife on our wedding night. Sheesh." Bobby just shrugged in reply.
Then a knock on the door and Lightning called, "Who is it?" "It's me." His mother. "Are you decent?" She asked. Bobby chuckled at that. LIghtning answered, "Yeah, come in." Minty walked in quietly, closing the door behind her. Staring at her son in his suit. "Oh Mon..." She mumbled in a whiny tone. "Please don't." Lightning begged. Minty woke up to her son then looked at his friends and asked, "Can I get a moment with my son?" Cal nodded, leaving with Bobby close behind. Once the door closed Minty began straightening her son's suit.
"You know, You are the second to get married of the bunch." Minty began. LIghtning sighed. Minty smiled as she continued, "I'm so very proud of you, Monty. You have come a long way and faced a lot of obstacles. And to wind up with a woman like Sally. I'm so glad you have become the man you are. You have worked hard for this life you have." I'll screw it up..." LIghtning muttered as he looked away. Minty forced her son to look at her, gently. "NO, you won't. You may make some mistakes down the road, but you are not a screw-up. Look at what you have accomplished, sweetie. You are Lightning McQueen! And what's that thing you say? You can.. You can handle anything, right?" Lightning smiled a little and snickered, "Yeah.. More of a gimmick or catchphrase really." Minty smiled, gazing at her son. "Are you nervous?' She asked. LIghtning sighed, "Some. But.. More about the vows. I want to get it right." Minty nodded, "You will. From what you have told me, Sally is going to flip. In a good way!" She giggled.
Lightning nodded then asked, "Have you seen Sally?" "Yup," Minty answered as she walked over to the vodka and poured a little into the lid. Taking the shot down. Lightning had to ask, "How is she? Is she nervous? Have second thoughts? Anything negative?" Minty screwed the lid back on then walked over and asked, "Why? Are you hoping so?" Lightning's eyes widened! "No! Never! I just-I'm curious." Minty snickered and sat in the chair before answering, "She is nervous. Not as bad as you. She looks beautiful. She is a gorgeous bride. You are a lucky man, mister." "I know it." Lightning chuckled. He stared into the mirror when suddenly the door opened and Mater announced, "Time to start." LIghtning swallowed nervously but nodded. Minty stood up took her son's arm and said, "You got this." Lightning nodded and repeated to self assure, "Yeah, I got this."...
Meg and Jesse stared at their friend in the mirro. Flo cleaning up a little around the room as Sally took a moment to breathe. "You feel okay?" Asked Meg. Sally nodded with a smile on her face. "Yup. Just a few butterflies." SHe admitted. Making her friends giggle a bit. Then a knock. Knock, knock, knock. "Who is it?" Sally called. No answer though. The girls looked at one another. Flo muttering, "It's probably Guido tellinng us to get nout there." MAking the girls giggle slightly. Flo cracked the door open slowly. Just in case it was Lightning because you never know. Flo's eyes widened at the sight of who she saw though. Sally glanced over and asked, "Who is it?" Flo whispered something to the person outside then closed the door quietly before turnng around and answering Sally's question. "Ben." Sally's happy smile fleed. Meg and Jesse questioned, "Ben?" Said one. "Your ex?" Asked the other. Sally's face turned pale-ish. She began to breathe heavier as her heart raced. "I need to st down." SHe muttered breathlessly. Her two best friends helping her take a seat inn the chair next to them.
"Want me to send him away?" Asked Flo. Sally began fanning herself before answering, "No.. No.. Actually, could you let him in and.. And gove me a moment alone with him? Girls?" Meg and Jesse glanced at each other. Unsure if that was a good idea or not. Sally took Meg's hand and assured, "It's fine. I'll be fine. Please?" She begged. Meg sighed but nodded. Flo opened the door and motioned for Ben to come on in. As he did the girls all left. Flo being the last she said, "I'll be right outside." Sally nodded and watch Flo leave. Closing the door behind her. Alone. It was so quiet. Ben looked nice. All dressed up in a suit. Sally stood and swallowed nervously before asking, "Are you staying?" Ben shook his head replying, "No, but.. I just had to see you." A short pause then adding, "You look so beautiful. Amazing really. Lightning is... He's so lucky to have you." Sally smiled a little. Not fully, but a little.
Ben walked up to her and slowly, cautiously took her fingers innto his palms Staring down at her soft, gentle hands. "I"m sorry I screwed us up." He apologized, "But I'm glad you are so happy now." He then looked up into her beautiful and familiar eyes. "I still love you. I always will, Sally. You were the first for a lot of things for me.: He smiled as tears gathered into his eyes. Sally smiled more real and nodded replying, "You were for me to.." Her voice so quiet and soft. Almost as if she were about to cry. Ben sighed, gazing at his ex wife. Sure, this was probably the happiest day for one man, but it was a heartbreak for another.
Ben leaned forward and kissed her cheek. SMelling her beautiful scent brought back nothing but pain. He loved her and wished she was still his but this is what it was now. At least she was happy. Sally pressed her forehead against his . Closing her eyes. SHe still hurt at times aswell. After all, they were once something more. Ben was everything Sally wanted, or thought she did. He was once the love of her life, once the Father of her baby she wanted so long ago. Ben was also everything she feared for her and Lightning. That they would fall apart and grow apart. "Ben..." Sally whispered. "Yes?" He mumbled quietly. Sally lifted her eyes and looked into his. No words though. Ben nodded. It was time for him to go. He stepped back. His hands slowly letting go of hers.
For Sally, it was like her past, her brokeness, her pain, heartbreak, regrets.. Her old life was finally walking away. Saying goodbye to the old her. To the person she thought she wanted to be. Goodbye and fairewell to the life she fell so unhappy with. Watching Ben walk away meant that it was in the past. It was over. She could feel the pain being let out. The feeling of letting go of everryhing that use to way on her shoulders...
Lighting stood and his Mother walked down the red carpet before them. A few people took photos as they walked down together to the end of it. Where the minister awaited. Lightning walked his Mother to the front row and she kissed his cheek before taking her seat. Lightning took a few more steps to take his place and then the small quartet began playing their instruments. Just a simple tune for the moment. Three violins, a cello, a trombone, and trumpets. Bobby and Jesse walked down the carpet first. Taking each a place on either side for the bride and groom. Followed by Cal and Meg, then Mater and Samantha. But LIghtning's heart raced faster and harder with each couple taking their place. Counting down the moments, the seconds to when he would see Sally. Lightning could feel his palms sweating. This was ridiculous! Why was he so nervous!? Lightning swallowed nervously, almost painfully as he awaits. The music shifted. The familiar song played. God bless the broken road.
It was like the song made him more nervous really. Norman walked down the path, tossing little pink petals all over. Making his way to the front where he sat down with his parents. The song played to through to the second verse before he caught a glimpse of Sally down the pathway. Linked arms with her Father. Wow. She looked... Amazing. With an off-the-shoulder dress that had a cut slit down one leg. SO slimming around her middle. Wow. Her hair was in waves, blonder than he had last seen her maybe. Little white flowers in her hair near her right eye. Her lips sparkled, baby pink under the lights. And then she and Carson began making their way up. Fuck. Even more nervous. He was going to screw this up somehow. Lightning watched as she stepped closer and closer. The rest of his life was before him. All laid out. And she was perfect! Sally smiled so widely and beautifully!
Carson sighed as they got closer and closer to the end. "You're Mother would be proud of you. Everything you've done here is amazing. The place looks great.." He whispered. Sally smiled. But not taking her eyes off Lightning. Carson kissed his daughter's head and asked, "And you are sure about this? About him? Because it's not ok late. I can pick you up and and put you in the car and"-"Dad.." Sally scolded softly. Carson smiled and snickered, "You're right." Making their way to the front and standing before LIghtning as the music came to an end.
The Minister asked, "Who gives this woman?" Carson and Sally glanced at each other. Carson took a deep breath, his eyes treading up before he answered, "I do." Then he took or rather grabbed LIghtning's hand and placed Sally's in it. Carson and Lightning making eye contact, Carson said, "You take care of her. You protect her and you love her with every fiber in your body, kid. I'm trusting you-I.. Trust you will." LIghtning nodded a little. Silently. The Minister then motioned for Carson to let go of their hands and take his seat. Carson hesitated. He looked to his baby girl who smiled with such beautiful and sparkling eyes. He smiled at her then nodded and released his grip on the couples' hands. Once he sat down, The Minister began. The couple gazed into each other's eyes the entire time. Barely hearing a single word that the man said. Sally knew. The rest of her life was going to be perfect with him. Their love, her love for this man was stornger than anything she had ever felt for anyone else! SHe was starig her future in the eyes. His glossy, blue eyes. The Father of her children, the love her life, the best life she could have was here. Even if they lost everything, she would be content in his arms.
Ben glanced at the wedding from around the corner. Catching a glimpse of Sally and Lightning. And know what? He smiled. He was happy. Sally was better with Lightning and he accepted that. ANd this was good because he was to able to let go of some painful past regrets and leave quietly without feeling he shoud have done more...
"Now, the rings please." Asked the man. Bobby stepped up and handed them to the preacher. The man then handed Sally Lightning's first and said, "DO you take this man to be your lawfully, beloved? To have and to hold?" Sally looked to Lightning and smiled, "I do." Lightning couldn't have melted more for this woman. The preacher or minister then said, "Go ahead with your vows." Sally then smiled, glancing at the crowd of friends and family before back at Lightning. Fidgeting with his ring before speaking, "Lightning.. Monty.." He snickered hearing that. "Because of you, I laugh, I smile, I dream again. Because of you, I look forward with such great joy to be spending the rest of my life with you. Caring for you, nurturing you... And so I promise." She paused and took his hand. Taking and beginning to put his ring on as she continued, "to love you unconditionally, to honor you every day. To laugh with you when you're happy, to support you when you are sad, to guide you when you ask for direction, to challenge you to always be a better person, and.. allow you to do the same for me. I promise to be your biggest fan, Lightning. Your ever-present and listening audience." She said as she gazed up into his deep ocean eyes. Lightning smiled. Such sweet words. Only making him more nervous to say his now.
The minister then handed Lightning Sally's ring. Lightning took a deep breath and stared at the ring in his hand a moment before gazing at Sally. "Sally..." He began. "I... I want to give you everything you could want. I want you to be happy the rest of your life with me.. And.. I'm not perfect. I know I act like I think I am but no, I'm screwing this up. I had this really sweet speech and now I'm mumbling.. Oh boy.." He faked a smile. Sally giggled slightly at him then took his hands and said, "Just tell me how you feel right now. That's what I want to remember." She smiled. Lightning stared into that smile, that face. Such a beauty. Lightning swallowed nervously then began to glance at the audience, but Sally placed her palm on his cheek and made him look directly at her.
LIghtning took a nervous breath then continued, "Sally, I feel like my heart can't keep up with me right now. I feel happy. So happy right now that I very well might cry. Or puke. I've never been so scared in my life. Not of you, but of.. Me. I feel slightly dizzy right now but you are so perfect and I'm still trying to figure out why you would choose to be with me. I want to give you everything. All of me. To give you what I can give you, but I know it will never be what you deserve. Sally," He paused and placed the ring on her finger, "I love you. I promise to try and always be the one to listen to all of your good days and bad. To always be working on myself for you. I promise I will not let you need anything. I won't let you be alone, feel lonely, feel unwanted in any way. I will not make you feel second to my career. I will not let us drift apart. We won't go to bed angry, we will not go without speaking, we will not lose the love we have worked for. I won't let that happen to us. I'll protect you. I'll be the one to take the hits for us when the storms come and I'll be there to pick up pieces when and if the time comes where you need me to. For you... Gosh, for you? For you, I'd do anything to make you smile. No matter what the cost, Sally.. I mean that." Sally wrapped her arms around his neck and hugged her almost there husband.
The audience cheered them on. A few whistling and applauding. Lightning wrapped his arms around Sally's hips, hugging her tightly against his body. Closing his eyes and taking at the moment. The Minister smiled and snickered, "Well, I now pronounce you man and wife." The couple pulled apart slightly. Gazing at one another as the famous words were spoken, "You may now kiss the bride."Lightning leaned in and placed the most gentle and sweetest kiss upon Sally's lips. Nothing too frisky as the family was there. Oh but later? Later he would devour her. The Minister then pulled Lightning and Sally around to face their friends and a family and said, "I pronounce to you, Mr. and Mrs. Monty Lightning McQueen."...
The couple then walked down the aisle to the view of radiator springs. The audience followed closely as Ramone grabbed a mic and announced, "Please make sure to give the bride and groom some space and enjoy as we celebrate their marriage with the first dance. Mom and Dad, be ready, homies." Lightning took Sally's hand and twirled her around to face him. Smiling and gazing at one another. The small band then began to play sh'boom. Their song. The couple began slowly dancing. Just a sway more or less. Sally leaned her head onto Lightning's chest. "Well, we are finally married." She whispered. Lightning couldn't help but snicker, "What do you mean finally?" Sally closed her eyes and embraced his heartbeat against her ear and the music playing as they danced. Lightning kissed the top of her head and complimented, "You look amazing, Sal." "Thank you. You too." She replied. A few friends took some pictures. As did the photographer. Lightning glanced down at the view. Radiator Springs, Sally, the life he never dreamed he would have!
Lightning then broke the dance and guided Sally to the crowd where he looked to Carson. Carson smiled slightly then stepped forward. Lightning handed him his daughter's hand then stepped aside. Sally mouthed a thank you to her now-husband before she and her father took the floor. Bobby nudged Lightning and congratulated his friend, "congrats, you did it, McQueen." Lightning just gazed at his now-wife. Happy that it was finally over. Not because he dreaded the wedding. But he was so nervous. Bobby chuckled and added, "Nice speech there, Champ." Lightning glared at his friend. "Yeah, yeah, laugh about it. I got nervous." Bobby just patted his friend's back. FLASH! The photographer snapped a pic of Lightning watching his bride and father-in-law dance. Minty walked up to her son and congratulated him as well.
"You did good, Mon." She smiled. Lightning snickered then said the sweetest thing to his mother that she'd never forgotten. A core memory of her son if you will. He gazed at Sally and said, "That's mine. All mine and.. all I can think right now is how could I ever need anything else besides that?" Minty leaned her head over onto her son. Watching Sally and Carson for a moment. Sally then stopped the dance and said, "Everyone feels free to join in now." The audience hesitated. But rather quickly they joined in. Ramone and Flo, Cal and Meg, Jesse and Bobby, etc. Lightning turned to his mother and asked, "Care to dance?" Minty giggled before taking her son's hand and slow dancing with her youngest boy. She was a proud mother today...
Carson sat at a table. Watching the bride and groom drink a bit and talk with what he guessed friends, reporters, Lightning's brother, the photographer, etc. he sipped his champagne. Staring at the liquid in the flute glass. Minty walked up and took a seat next to him. Letting out a loud sigh. Carson looked over and asked, "Wore out?" Minty giggled answering, "A little. These old lady bones sure don't move like they use to." Carson snickered at that. Drinking his drink. Minty stared at him a moment before complimenting, "You raised a perfect gal. Whatever you did, you did it right. Your wife would be proud." Carson stared at Minty. Thinking about Suzan for a moment then glancing at his daughter. Sally and Sam looked so much like their mother. Carson frowned a little. Thinking back to his life before she passed. Minty apologized but Carson quickly muttered, "It's alright. She would be happy. In all honesty, Suzan would have loved your boy." He smiled. "She'd say he's so rustic and blue-collar. A charming kid and a dreamer. She always had a thing for dreamers..." his smile faded. Staring at his drink. Minty placed a hand on Carson's shoulder and just smiled at him. Carson smiled a little. But heartache prevented that full smile. But his daughter. She was happy. Sally was happy and he knew she'd be okay with Lightning.
Lightning turned to his new wife and said, "I hope you didn't fill up on the cake." Sally raised a brow and asked, "Why? You have some late dinner plan?" Lightning chuckled, "Not exactly. You'll see." Then raised his hand and grabbed everyone's attention. "Hey, everyone! Everyone! Yeah, so... I have a special surprise for my bride but you are all welcome to follow behind and enjoy the sights. Just please be respectful and let Sally enjoy." Sally was even more curious now. Asking her new husband, "What are you planning or planned?" Lightning smiled and guided his wife to the beginning of Wheel Well's roundabout behind the walls of the bar and between the rooms. A curtain covered the hall for the wedding but now, Lightning moved the curtain, and before the couple was a lightly lit-up hall. Yellow and dim. With a theme of Paris within each pocket of space. The first was a lovely little mini flower shop. Just a small cart filled with roses and carnations. Guido smiled and held out a rose. Lightning took it then handed it to Sally saying, "For you, Mrs. McQueen." Sally smiled widely. Sniffing the rose a bit.
Lightning guided me to the next space which was made to look like a little cafe shop with little cakes and sandwiches. Luigi stood behind the cabinet of the cute little cafe counter and said, "The eclairs are the best." Handing a ' 'sample' ' to Lightning on a little plate. Lightning took and handed it to Sally and joked, "Authentic eclairs from.. Paris. With enough imagination." He smiled. Sally giggled. Taking a bite of it and nodded. "Pretty good." Eating it slowly and carefully. Making their way to the next little booth. This one was made to look like an art exhibit. Filled with beautiful canvas paintings. Sally giggled and asked, "Did you really do all of this?" "Well, it was the only way to give a piece of Paris." Sally laughs and grabbed Lightning's arm. Leaning her head over his shoulder as they walked to the next space. This one has a miniature metal Eiffel Tower. Spray painted with glitter to sparkle on the dim lighting. Sally gasped at it. Seeing how authentic it looked.
"Wow... Stickers, did you seriously do all of this?" Sally asked. LIghtning chuckled answering, "Well, everyone kind of help. I wish I could have given you Paris.. But this is the best I can do.. I'm sorry." Sally and Lightning stood in front of each other. Gazing into one another's eyes. Sally reached up and grabbed Lighting's face in her hands. Looking deeply into his big, blue eyes. "It's more than amazing. It's perfect." She complimented. Lighting snickered with a half-smile on his face. The couple kissed softly. SO in love and filled with joy for this day.
'CLICK-FLASH' The couple looked to see their friend, Luigi, snap a photo of them at this moment. Sally smiled. They were married. Husband and wife. Mr. and Mrs. McQueen. Mrs. Lightning McQueen. Things could not be more perfect!
