Power couldn't believe what she was hearing. The story that Megumi was telling her seemed well…unbelievable. She took it all in with wide eyes as he explained his story.

How he was not from this world. How there are other worlds out there and he hails from one of them. How both he and Qrow are part of an organization trying to protect the entirety of the "Multiverse" as its called. How they were on the hunt for a mysterious and powerful organization known only as "the Collective". How they were send here to keep a watch over suspicious activity and how they where suspicious in particular of Makima.

Power lived in a strange world, and maybe she was wearing rose colored glasses now so maybe she just took all Megumi told her as some form of gospel. But considering both him and Qrow appeared out of nowhere, she was willing to take this one on faith.

Once he finished telling her all she could mumble out was a soft "oh…I didn't expect that."

"Yeah I get that a lot. But I promise you Power everything I'm telling you is true. Me and Qrow are send to look if the Collective has infiltrated this world as well."

"Okay and you are part of this other group?"

"Yeah. My sensei calls us well…the Initiative."

Power raised an eyebrow at that "okay well that's a stupid name" she replied.

Megumi sighed in response "yeah we keep telling him that too but he doesn't listen to us. But yeah that's essentially my reason for being here and…I am sorry. All of this, spending time with you today was just a ploy to find out more information on your boss. I didn't expect it all to lead to…well this."

Power sat closer to Megumi and softly grabbed his hand, intertwining his fingers.

"I really don't care about that Megumi. I honestly expected us to just go somewhere and you know let off steam but now….I feel something. When I'm with you now I feel something I have never felt before. And I can't explain it."

Megumi nodded to that. He turned so her so they where face to face, holding her hand in between them as he spoke.

"Look Power…very soon I might need to leave this world. We fear your boss might truly be working for the Collective and if so you are all in terrible danger. I need you to leave the Devil Hunters and run as far as you can and don't look back."

Power gripped Megumi's hand "I wish I could but I can't" she replied with a defeated sigh.

"Why not?"

"It's not that simple Megumi….Makima she has…I don't know but she almost has some sort of grip on everyone in Division 4. I can't explain it but she's just got a hold on everyone. I wish I could leave but I'm feeling literally chained."

Megumi pondered those words, these words of complete and despair and hopelessness. Feelings he knew all too well.

"But maybe there is a way out," Power started as she moved her hands to Megumi's face and held him "take me to your world!"

"What?"

"Take me with you. Help me escape Makima! Take me to a place where she can't reach me! Where we can be….where we can be…whatever it is we are now."

Megumi was taken aback by her words and struggled to find a response. He had never been put into a spot like this before and no amount of training would've prepared him for this.

"Power I can't…if I take you away then Makima will surely notice and inform the Collective and we must keep our existence a secret. My sensei wants us to ensure the Collective never learns that we oppose them, in fear of them lashing out on our worlds."

Power's hopeful expression was gone like snow before the sun. Her eyes fell downwards and looked at the ground below her. Was it all for not? Was she about to lose this one happy moment so quickly.

And then she recalled. A contract….which she as a Fiend was incapable of making…

Another bit to dust…

"Megumi," Power said before raising her hand and pulling up the sleeve of her shirt "I want you to make a contract with me?"

Megumi's expression looked like someone who had just swallowed something incredibly sour as he had no idea what to make of her request "what are you saying?"

"Humans and Devils can make a binding contract. But since I'm a Fiend I can't make a proper contract so instead I figured we could try something else. I want us to make a contract based on…on…whatever we may be feeling now I can't describe it okay."

Megumi nodded in response, he didn't know how to describe it either.

With her sharp teeth Power bit down in her wrist, producing a noticeable wound and small drops of blood began forming.

"Drink my blood. That way we are connected, but I want you to promise me. If you have to leave…please come back for me. Come back and save me from this world."

"Power I don't think I can…" Megumi solemnly replied.

Upon saying this he noticed the Blood Fiend's eyes starting to water "please Megumi…I know I'm asking a lot but please…I barely live a life here, under the thumb of that woman who could dispose of me at any given moment. So please talk to your sensei and please come back…come back for me…"

Power was now full on sobbing, crying her eyes out in desperation. Megumi grabbed her bleeding wrist and looked at her, using his other hand to wipe away her tears.

Without a word he lowered his head and began sucking the blood out of her wrist. Power moaned at the sudden feeling of Megumi's warm mouth on her wrist, sucking up the small drops of blood leaving from her self-inflicted wound. Symbolically making the contract with her.

After a minute his head shot back, the sides of his mouth stained with red as he looked at Power.

"I promise you Power. I will come back for you" he said.

With shining eyes from the earlier tears Power leaped forward and embraced Megumi tightly, nuzzling her head into his neck, as he wrapped his arms protectively around her, whispering in her ear.

"You are now under my protection. My word is my bond."

A/N: Admittedly I am overdoing it a bit with the HolyPower shipping (name suggested by one of my readers since Megumi's name means blessing) but I have just become so personally invested in this wonderfully created ship that I decided to pull through. And the title of the story is "Come Into my World" and Megumi did come into Power's world so it could refer to that (the title was originally taken by the song of the same name by Kylie Minogue, who I am quite a fan off) but yes I figure there will be two more chapters before I wrap this story up and continue onto the next one.
