"This is the girl I've been telling you about Kodlak. The girl that can see what future lies ahead." Vilkas exclaimed. With how he said it, I have a feeling that he wants something from that knowledge.

"With her ability, we could finally use it to look for a cure." Figures. Who was I kidding? I took a step back from Vilkas. If this is the real reason why I'm here then I'm leaving. Knowing the future will bring more harm than good. That's why I don't trust fortune tellers. It will only make you paranoid and paranoia can lead to bad decisions.

"Leave us Vilkas. I wish to speak with her alone." Vilkas immediately nodded his head. He gently placed his hand on top of my shoulder giving me a soft pat before leaving. There I stood in front of Kodlak Whitemane. The man I know will die if I stay here.

"Please take a seat my child. You are still healing." I shook my head and kneeled in front of him. Who would have thought I will voluntarily kneel for someone?

"Kodlak Whitemane. If the purpose of my presence here is to reveal the future, then I must leave this place. Knowing the future will only lead to destruction. If not, then I will still leave for I do not have a place here." I bowed my head in respect. Hopefully he will consider what I said.

There was silence until Kodlak gave a bellowing laugh. Startled and not knowing what to do, I kept my eyes on the ground.

"My child! There is no need for that! I know what Vilkas said but I will not force you into anything." I let out contented sigh and raised my head. Here is the Harbinger of the Companions, giving me a smile of assurance. Leaning down at my level, he wrapped his arms around me. The hug is firm and yet soothing. Closing my eyes again, I returned the hug.

It's been 6 months since that happened. Those 6 months gave me a chance to get a better hold of myself. True I am the Dragonborn and I am stuck here for that. My body improved and I built some muscles and have my stamina back. So far Kodlak advised me to stay within the walls of Whiterun just in case the vampires comes back. I haven't seen one thank goodness but I will never know. Those 6 months I always have someone with me whenever I go out of the halls of Jorrvaskar. Let's just blame it on Vilkas. He ordered everyone especially Farkas to follow me around like a puppy. I never liked it so I tend to run away from my assigned bodyguard.

"Sizaan!" speaking of bodyguard... I turned around and saw Skjor running after me. The thing about Skjor is that I feel awkward around him. He usually corners me out of nowhere and stare at me for quite sometime before shrugging and walking away as if nothing happened.

"I told you not to stray!" Rolling my eyes, I continued walking towards the Gildergreen. Since I was not allowed to go out of Whiterun, I couldn't save the tree. Well, I doubt I could save it before dying first. I've reached the tree and stood under it's dried branches. I could hear Skjor stopping a little close to me from behind.

"I could use the space Skjor." I growled as I elbowed him from behind. I heard him grunted but I know he was just faking it. Besides, my elbow wasn't wearing any armor and he does.

"What is with you and this tree? You've been coming here for quite some time. Even Aela would rather be out hunting rather than following you wherever you go."

"No one asked you all to stay Skjor. You could just ditched me along the way and I wouldn't even mind." A soft wind blew, caressing my cheeks in the process. It was ... pleasant. The wind wasn't that strong but it manage to pluck a twig from the tree. The twig landed on top of my head as Skjor snickered behind.

"It seems the tree appreciated your presence." He said. Sighing, I took the twig from my head and stared at it in my mind. For a while it seems like a normal twig. It's size is similar to size of the pen I usually used in school. As I continued to stare, the twig suddenly became heavy in my hand. My eyes blinked as I started to see black in my vision.

I am seeing nothing. Nothing but darkness.

"Hello." The void says.

"Who are you?" it didn't gave me a reply but gave me a familiar sight. It was a lone tree at the edge of a cliff. It didn't gave me any idea where I saw it though. The scene changes again and showed me a knife being held by a Hagraven.

My eyes widened as realization hits. The knife was the Nettlebane and the tree was the Eldergleam! The Gildergreen wants my help to restore her... Or was it a he?

The vision then faded and I found myself facing Skjor. His brows were meeting each other in the middle of his forehead while his eye seem to be looking at mine. His hands were grasping my shoulders hard and I can feel my bone will start to crack if he won't stop.

"Get off Skjor." I shrugged his hands but he didn't let go and continued to stare at my eyes. Irritated, I glared at him.

"What?!"

"Your eyes... It changed..."

"What?"

"I tried calling you for a while now and you never answered. Once I have you facing me, I saw your eyes faded into white glazed with the lightest red I have seen. What happened?" That sounded weird at first but the Gildergreen's petals or was it leaves? Anyways, it is colored pink. Could it be that was what he saw?

"I.. I saw a vision... The Gildergreen showed me a vision. It wants me to travel and save it."

Skjor looked at me in the eyes before shaking his head and letting me go.

"You'll die outside the walls of Whiterun cub."

"Then I'll take Vilkas. We've been traveling together. I could take him."

"He is the Master of Arms. You need someone who doesn't have much responsibility in his hands."

"Then I'll take Farkas. What's up with you?"

"or you could take me with you."

I closed my mouth and waited for him to take that statement back. A few seconds had passed and he still wasn't talking to me.

Is he serious?
