Chapter 1: Obedience

A/N: PLEASE READ THIS.

Guys I really want to read some good Sasuhina stories so I would be very happy if you recommend me some good fics either in my dm or in the review itself. Also I would like to ask if instagram or some other platform have Sasuhina groups that I can join where I could get recommendations and ideas. If not then I would try to create a group of my own and you people can join. Just leave your insta handles on my personal message or ask mine and I would be happy to provide my handle.

Now coming back to this story, it contains a very lunatic Sasuke.

Disclaimer: I don't own Naruto.

Hinata was terrified but oddly thrilled.

Terrified because she understood she was to keep a watch on a beast. She knew she was playing with fire that is bound to burn her. She was feeding a lion and if she took her eyes off him, he will rip out her hands.

Thrilled because it finally dawned upon her that she has so much more control over him than she had mistaken and he might help her win her freedom back. She never had this much power over anyone in the whole wide world and to think that the fact Sasuke Uchiha was at her mercy was something she still couldn't comprehend fully.

'Could that mean she might escape from him? or may be take revenge?'

She stopped in her reverie, scolding herself. It wasn't like her at all because Hinata never thought about revenge but here she was planning and plotting. He had definitely changed something in her. He had built her different when he pieced her together from the broken shards. He has left a deep mark on her conscious. The things she went through with him have made her unhinged. The only way to beat his mind games and tricks are to let go of her past self. She had tried many times in the past but she couldn't retaliate against him. Her nature was against it but see now she was helpless bound to him by the village's order.

'Because he was insane and she was his cure' they had claimed throwing her into the Uchiha's cage to keep him satisfied but what about her?

He was making her equally diabolical and she knew there was no cure for her if she let him taint her any longer. She will become just as insane as he is.

She sat there on the rocking chair that he bought for her, nervously playing with all the scars he left on her while he passionately claimed her. His hands had snaked around her thighs parting them while he kissed every part that she hid from him. He had brushed her red with his sinful lips everywhere, leaving no place untouched. Her scalp still hurt from the blunt force that he used to keep her from looking away from him. He loved to watch the hunger that lurked deep beneath her otherwise soulless eyes.

His sharingans will always hold an upper hand but no worries because she knew she had as much power over him as he had over her.

He took everything away from her and now she planned on doing the same. It wasn't easy because the last Uchiha had nothing that she could take away, nothing that she could enjoy destroying. Her lips trembled as she cried. She was mad. She wanted to scream.

Why was she so weak? She couldn't even stand on her own without his help. She had become a rag doll as he continued to pump her with those lethal injections that Sakura provided.

He would always place a kiss on her fore head after every dose, "Hinata you will be alright"

She knew he was lying, she would never be fine as long she is with him. The longer she is with him, the less she is alive.

He shouldn't have done this; he took away the only thing she worked so hard to prove. He stole her chance at fighting. For what? Because he cared. He was alone. He was scared for her. He wanted to protect her. Those were the reasons he gave her.

But Hinata knew he did what he did because he was selfish. Sasuke had always been selfish.

She had an idea about this since the day her life became intertwined with his but she never knew it was planned to happen from the very start. The course of her life had been decided by the ones she trusted. Her close friends who she loved. Her comrades who she cared for. Her family who was related by blood. They were all her enemies now.

She was betrayed by everyone and the most by the blonde Hokage who she loved at one point but now she hated his guts. If you by any chance utter the name 'Naruto Uzumaki' in front of her, she would not hesitate to cut off your tongue and feed it to the dogs. She never knew she would love to hate him this much in her life.

It was odd that she hated Naruto this much yet she couldn't hate Sasuke. Maybe because he was the only one who didn't backstab her or lie to her? He had always been very vocal to her about his intentions to leave his essence in her.

It was so pathetic of her that she put her trust on the wrong person.

She shouldn't have been this trusting. She should have taken his words what they were worth for.

"I am sorry Hinata" Naruto's voice rang in her ear.

He had told her twice. Once when he handed over her first mission and again when he relieved her from her very last mission. She was a naïve girl back then but she desperately wished to go back in time and repeatedly shout 'no' at Naruto's face.

She cursed Naruto Uzumaki to his grave.

Series of flashback came forth but not in order, never in order. She felt bile rise in the back of her throat as she wondered if his seeds had planted them in her womb. She was sick and she burned with fever. Her memories had been fuzzy at best but she remembered it all started with Naruto's request. The details were still missing.

Naruto had asked for her help. He told her that he could trust only her with this mission. After all it was not less than some suicide mission but Hinata had already pledged her life in the feet of the future Hokage. She had already proven this twice by jumping before death for Naruto. Knowing well that she could do anything for him, the blonde had pursued her and she agreed stupidly. Why? Because she was a foolish young girl in love.

She shook her head feeling dizzy just like she felt on those missions with Sasuke.

Days and night were spent under the stars with the Uchiha keeping him accompanied because the council wanted her to, because Konoha demanded her to, because Naruto needed her to. They had travelled to various lands on S-ranked mission. Those missions in which Sasuke had almost bled to death; the same missions in which she almost lost her eyes. The missions where she came to know that Sasuke was senile and she should have never stayed with him. She did though because he was her mission.

Neji had once warned her that she had a capability to warm the cold hearts. When she had asked him to explain, he just shrugged and said that cruel souls like him would want to hurt her but in the process would die protecting her. He was a fine example. His own feelings to keep her safe had been growing and swelling since their young age until he faded. Not once did he hesitate to give up his life for her.

"Never fall in love with a man like me" Those were his words out of the blue and it confused her to no ends.

"But most importantly never let a man like me fall in love with you Hinata-sama" Neji had left Hinata thinking to this day if there was more to his brotherly love towards her. She hoped not because she wanted to keep her Ni-san's memory pure.

Sasuke reminded her of Neji but she believed that Neji wasn't as evil as the last Uchiha. She didn't realise she would become his target and they would end up like this because their start was anything but exciting.

During those missions they never talked. The Uchiha never bothered her with small talks. He never even spared her a glance. For him she never existed and if he graced her with his fleeting gaze, they were just filled with indifference. He was indifferent to everything and everyone even to his own teammates. Everyone told her that Uchiha was a bad news and even the women who had once loved him had nothing good to say about him.

Sakura and Ino had come to bid her goodbye, telling her that the Uchiha wasn't stable. That he would break and hurt her so she needed to be careful. Ino along with her other medical staff had examined his mind and she told her to never engage him because he was crazy and suicidal. They never understood the reason why she was being placed in such a dangerous mission though she had felt safe regardless because Naruto wouldn't put her in danger, would he?

So she felt protected with her initial thought but sometimes she had been a nervous wreck on these missions with him because she could feel the power contained within him through the seals on her wrists. She was ordered to use them on him if he ever decided to go rouge again. She was the only gatekeeper that stood between him and the world. She just hoped she would never have to use them because that would prove to be fatal for him. She knew this because she was the one to place these seals on him. Those nights she had seen him writhing in pain under her palms as she carved him with her family's deadly fuinjutsu.

At one point she wanted to stop. She had asked Naruto but he was adamant on continuing the jutsu because it was the only way the council would let Sasuke live. When Hinata still refused because all this brought painful memories of her dead cousin; Naruto had kneeled in front of her as he begged her to listen to him.

"It is the only way to save him from execution. Sasuke is like a brother to me Hinata. If he dies, I die" but how could she let that happen. Sasuke must live, if it meant Naruto's life was dependent on him. She never understood the relationship that these two males shared. Their bond was incomprehensible in the eyes of Hinata because if Naruto was the brightest Sun in the universe, Sasuke was the darkest black hole to ever exist. Many a time Hinata felt jealous that all of Naruto's attention went towards his wayward friend but never on her. She wondered darkly if the choice was ever presented before Naruto to save only one of his friends. Would he choose her or Sasuke?

Something told her she didn't want to know the answer. She ignored that feeling because Naruto always found a way to save everyone but if it was true then why couldn't he save Neji. She never blamed Naruto for anything but with passing times she understood Naruto is just a human but with a very huge hero complex. She fell in love with a hero but heroes needed to make sacrifices and this time it was her that ended up being the biggest sacrifice for the one he claimed is his brother.

She never felt tempted to use those deadly seals on the Uchiha not even when he went on a full on massacre mode on the enemies of Konoha because at the end of the day they were the enemies of her homeland and it was their job to get rid of them. However, Hinata would never have preferred to kill them in such a horrid way. Sasuke would splatter blood everywhere as the air would become thick with iron. You could literally smell and taste the blood in the atmosphere itself. He would cut off their limbs and behead them. If they had especial eyes he would collect them. He had an odd habit of always puncturing their heart with his katana laced with chidori. He would burn their bodies with his fire jutsu mutilating them until those corpses could never be recognised all the while wearing a sinister smile.

Hinata would just look away as she would feel like puking on the spot.

Being a Hyuga, Hinata had always preferred a clean death. One poke to the heart is all it would take to kill her enemies. Hinata though would avoid killing as much as possible because she didn't like the act of taking life without a care. This was a huge disappointment for her family who believed that every Hyuga should be merciless and ruthless on battlefield. She was just fine without mindless killing.

In few instances she had fought alongside Sasuke and he would push her to the ground when he would see her hesitating to land a blow.

"Out of my way Hyuga" he would scowl at her.

Other times when she killed while fighting, he would still berate her for being soft.

"Congratulations on killing three against my thirty"

And her cheeks would bleed red and she would manage to say, "but this isn't a competition"

"Hn"

He was dangerous she had known; he was a risk she had known. His actions proved his crooked mentality even more.

They would be away from Konoha for months at times and she would feel homesick but she had to say that she might be making some progress with the quite Uchiha. They started feeling somewhat comfortable in each other's presence because they never came in each other way. So that was that. They had started talking with each other more often but only in regards to the missions and sometimes they would share foods that he hunted. Though that was the only time she would be greeted by him otherwise he would leave her for hours alone and unattended. Hinata almost felt that she was on a solo mission rather than with a comrade like him.

But there was always a feeling that he was watching her. She felt his eyes on her when she trained, when she read her scrolls in the solace of her tents. She would feel his watchful eyes on her while she retired for the night and even when she washed herself intimately in the nearby spring. She would always activate her eyes to dissipate her paranoia and she never found him in the near vicinity to hers. It wasn't possible to find her blind spot that easily because her range was exceptional and her blind spot was very small. She was a tracker and she had trained her eyes for that sole purpose. Even then she felt vulnerable before him feeling that he had more advantage over her than she had over him.

It wasn't until one night that she came to know that he was even more lunatic than people claimed.

Hinata slept inside her tent while Sasuke was awake guarding. Well he never slept and she sometimes wondered if he was even a human to begin with. He was an enigma and she had spent several nights on row to make some sense of him. He never did and his mere thought manifested a string of confusion in her heart. However, today she was so very tired that her eyes had closed on their own accord.

She was deep in her slumber when she had felt a hand wrapping itself around her waist. She couldn't comprehend it as the sleep still shrouded her ability to form thoughts. She felt warm air tickling behind her ears but she slept through it anyway because she hadn't been sleeping well for months. It wasn't until the grip tightened on her cutting off her supply of air that she fought.

"SShhh, don't move Hinata"

She had stopped at the maliciousness of the voice, feeling coldness grip her bones. Her heart leapt in her mouth. Shivers ran through her body and her stomach knotted. She didn't understand what Sasuke was doing in her bed like this. Her mind screamed at her to attack because a Hyuga would never allow someone to touch them like this but her fear of him was more powerful than her reason to fight.

He had pressed their lower halves together and she could feel his hard muscles through the layers of clothes separating them. Blood rushed to her brain as she suppressed her fight or flight mode.

"W-what are y-you d-doing?" She hadn't stuttered for years but apparently Sasuke made her feel like a child scared of monster. This monster though wasn't under her bed but on her bed sleeping with her clawing at her skin. His nails were painfully digging in her stomach proving a point that nobody would come to scare off her monsters. She would have to do it on her own.

He didn't say anything but to answer her question; he slammed her back hard pulling her towards him. Her eyes had widened and her breath hitched as she felt something poke her back. She wasn't that sheltered to not know what it was. She decided that she needed to get away from him so she unhooked herself from his clutch and stared back at him with her Byakugan pulsing with raw chakra. She gasped as she saw his sharingan gleaming at her in the dark. She had paralysed his hands which lay limp beside him. She had moved to the farthest corner gathering as much distance between them as she can but still she couldn't breathe.

He just laughed and laughed while she sat there shocked at his behaviour thinking if this was normal? If he was normal? After a few minutes, he sat up and flared his chakra forcefully reopening his block tenketsus.

All the while he maniacally cackled as if he just pulled some funny prank.

"Even when you are on the verge of getting raped, you still don't attack me with full power Hyuga. You're pathetic"

These were his exact words. Yes, she had a lot of ways to kill him. Her hands were her biggest weapon. The seals on her wrists even more so dangerous because she would not even have to attack him. With a quick activation, he would drop dead like a fly because of fried brain.

"If he dies, I die"

No. She shook her head at the mental image.

"I-I can't" She whispered.

Sasuke just gave her a death glare warning her. "We …. We are comrades and these past days we have been friendl-"

"Ametarasu" his velvety voice cut her off and she was hysterical.

Black flames circled around her eating the life out of the land around her. They were slowly closing in on her while she scooted into herself. He watched with amusement urging her to complete her previous statement. He clearly didn't share the same sentiments as hers.

Why was he doing this?

"W-why?" she voiced herself out loud.

"Because I can and I will, if you don't stop me next time" He said with gritted teeth.

Did he just reassure her that he would force himself upon her, if she didn't stop her kind act? The fire dissolved around her before erupting heeding her to remember its owner's words of caution. She refused to believe this bluff because he wouldn't do that. If he had really intended it, he would have done so by now. Not to forget he would be severely punished for touching the Hyuga heiress. She couldn't believe that he would go to such lengths to see if she would attack him or not but Hinata wasn't that stupid enough to disregard his warning completely.

What kind of deranged person was he? Had she underestimated his mental health?

She had been very wary of him since that day but the Uchiha had reverted back to his earlier habit of ignoring her presence.

She couldn't recall other parts of those missions but she knew months had already passed between their travels and that uneventful night. She could not forget about that incident. Yes the day she was truly scared of the Uchiha. That night she was attacked for her eyes yet again.

She had been alone in a rundown hut and she could not recall as to why Sasuke wasn't with her. Suddenly she had felt large reserves of chakra moving towards her. They were about fifty or so. She had already seen them coming miles away into the nightfall. She had stood ready in her Hyuga stance. When they saw her, they had been surprised to see her willing to fight alone but Sasuke was right.

She had to fight her monsters on her own.

They had snickered among themselves clearly feeling victory coming their way until she easily disposed twenty of them. That is what you get for underestimating a Hyuga.

They had rained kunais on her and she deflected them with her rotation. Nothing could pierce her shield of protection. She had manually stopped the hearts of those men who now had their mouths hung open and eyes bulging out. It was a far less painful death by Sasuke's definition. He loved to slowly cut his enemies but Hinata wasn't like him. She couldn't become like him, she refused to become like him.

However, in this real world kindness is never rewarded.

She felt the land shook under her as vibration of shockwaves made her lose her footing. Taking the advantage one of the shinobi threw his sharp kunai at her ankle and she landed on her back. Before they could attack she had gained her position again but they had efficiently slowed her down.

It was only a matter of time before she would deplete her chakra against such a large number of attackers. She hadn't managed to kill any more of these men as she suffered a large number of bruises and sashes.

She had tried to attempt jyuken when her chakra just vanished and she felt her head smash against a rock. Her warm blood had trickled down her chin. Her ribs broke as they kicked hard on her chest. She flew and landed against a large tree stump. Her Byakugan was no longer functioning. Five men stood in front of her.

"Bitch, we will make you suffer before we sell that pretty eyes of yours" They had her hair in their grip and she spat at the one of the men disgusted by their greed. As soon as she did that one of men stepped on her foot breaking them. A shrill cry erupted from her lungs unable to take any more abuse.

She didn't even notice that it was his name she called out.

They had beaten her quite badly. Her face was mangled. She couldn't even see properly. Everything was blurry.

"After taking her eyes, we can have some fun with the kitten. I never had a Hyuga woman before" One of those faceless males spoke. Hinata's body froze at that for she would rather die than be violated by animals like them.

She prayed for all these to stop.

The male standing in front of her had pried her lids open ready to scoop out her eyes when everything ceased to be just like she had wished. Electricity wheezed past them.

"Chidori"

Horrors had crossed the faces of these ninjas as they stared in a distance where red eyes shone on them. A sign of crossing danger.

She didn't remember much but it was over very quickly or at least it seemed like it. Sasuke had killed everyone and even after facing these men's cruelty first hand, she felt revolted when she saw their crushed head and missing eye sockets. He was jabbing every one of their eyes who attempted to steal hers. Their screams still echoed in her ears as he tortured them to death with his mangekyou sharingan. He piled their heads in front of her.

"Please forgive me" the last man pleaded as he was getting skinned alive like others, an incision running from his navel to the end of his neck. Sasuke had his head tilted to one side grinning, clearly enjoying the useless begging. He was a sadist who loved to see pain in people's eyes.

He stood up dragged the bloodied body of the man towards Hinata who emptied herself on the nearby grass feeling numb and inhumane. He just pushed his katana in her hands.

"Do the honours" He wanted her to slice his throat. The man peered at her with his already dead eyes. What is the point of killing a man already on the verge of death? She hiccupped not wanting do it anymore. Is this what being a shinobi means?

Sasuke just shook his head, took his katana from her and before slaying the unknown attacker he said something that scared her even more than death itself "Never touch what is Uchiha's"

The blood splashed on her cheeks as the head was thrown onto the heap of unlucky cadavers.

She then looked over the Uchiha who now watched her intently. After what felt like hours he moved towards her and Hinata wanted to run because …

She felt like he was coming for her head too.

"You d-didn't have to do t-that" She pushed herself away from him but the rough bark dug into her back scraping her behind and making any further movement impossible.

"They shouldn't have touched what's mine" he placed his hands on her cheeks bringing his face near her.

"I am not yours" His hold tensed as he looked at her with expressionless dark eyes.

"Soon you will be"

He promised. They peered into each other's eyes trying to find the truth behind his words before he crashed his lips on her unresponsive ones. That was the night she understood his feelings towards her.

Neji was right all along.

Never let a man like me fall in love with you Hinata-sama.

"I want yo- . . . AHHHHH" Sasuke cursed as he clutched his head. The seals on his fore head started glowing and so did the ones on her wrists.

He thrashed around, his eyes searching hers but she kept them closed as tears flowed freely. His sharingan could no longer function and soon he laid there paralysed. He would die soon if she completely activated his seals but Hinata came to her senses and stopped the jutsu.

She couldn't, she just couldn't.

Her hands shook and tears streamed down her face falling onto Sasuke's cheeks.

A dry laughter resounded and her eyes landed on Sasuke again. "I was right. I was fucking right"

She heaved not wanting to hear him any longer.

"You are not meant to be a Shinobi" He said and then continued chuckling but all the mirth was lost to her as the darkness slowly consumed her and she fell unconscious near the unmoving Sasuke. Her face was inches apart from him and she could still feel him on her lips.

She was losing her mind.

Please review.
