I awoke in the sunlit room in the castle in Clow Country. Fai's long legs were intertwined with mine under the warm blanket. He had a peaceful smile resting on his face and I could tell he was still fast asleep. I felt my heart beat a little faster at the memory of my dream. No, not a dream. A visit to another reality.
I smiled looking at my Fai's face and picturing him as a father. We might all joke that Kurogane is the dad of our group — and he definitely is — but thinking about Fai with his own children, with his brother still alive, and with me by his side ruling Celes together… It warmed my heart. I wouldn't change what we've been through, though. We might not have had the perfect reality, but we ended up with one another and were able to protect our other selves from having to fight our fights.
I moved a hand to his left cheek, my fingers lightly touching his recently returned eye. He made a content sigh, his head nuzzling against my hand. I moved closer to him, keeping my hand on his cheek, and pressed my body against his. He wrapped his arm around my waist, holding me tightly to him, before finally opening his beautiful blue eyes.
"Good morning." He smiled at me.
"Good morning." I smiled back, moving my hand up to his long hair. "Did you sleep well?"
"I think that was the best night's sleep I have ever had." He told me. "How about you?"
I took the opportunity to tell him about my experience through the night. He listened thoughtfully while absentmindedly tracing patterns on my back.
"One more choice to make, huh?" Fai said when I was done.
"Mhm. But the other me did say she was sure we'd make the right one and wished me safe travels."
"I wonder if that has anything to do with the price Syaoran paid to get back to us." Fai mused.
"What price is that?" I asked.
"Who knows?" He smiled. I just rolled my eyes. Of course he knew more than he was going to tell me right now, but I'm sure he wanted to be positive before he shared anything.
"Probably you. But I'm willing to wait to find out." I laughed, kicking his leg lightly. He chuckled, pressing his lips to mine.
"So our other selves. Three children?" He asked, his hand slipping down to lift up the nightgown I had been given to sleep in. The feeling of his hand on my hip, moving up my side, caused me to shiver despite the heat that radiated from my core.
"Yes." I answered, moving to where he could pull the fabric off of my body. "A boy and a set of fraternal twins. All healthy, all happy."
"I'm curious." He smiled seductively, leaning over my naked body. "Would our children look the same as theirs?"
"I didn't get to see them, but there's really only one way to ever find out." I grinned, pushing him by his shoulders until he was lying on his back. I moved to straddle his hips, pushing his shirt up his long torso until I was able to pull it off of him. I leaned down and pressed my lips to his as his hands trailed up my legs, grazing my hips, before they sprawled across my back and pulled me as close to him as possible.
I could feel Fai smiling into our kiss as my hips ground into his. He slowly dragged one of his warm hands down my back to my side, sending a shiver through me as his fingers crossed my ribs until he reached my breast and massaged it gently. I moaned into our kiss and he took the opportunity to slip his tongue into my mouth. My hands reached the top of his pants, but before I had a chance to slip them off, he used his magic to make them vanish. I pulled away from his lips and giggled slightly.
"That's my job!" I told him, moving my hips against him. He smiled up at me before flipping me over so that he was above me once more.
"Then this is my job." He whispered against my neck as his hand traveled between my legs. I gasped as his finger slid over my entrance. He kissed me softly as he pressed his finger inside of me. I moaned against his lips as his hand excited the nerves within me. I tangled one of my hands in his hair while moving my other to find his erection. He shuddered against my hand as I gripped him and softly moved up and down him.
He forced me to gasp once more as he removed his hand from inside me and quickly replaced it with his hard member. He thrust into me causing me to moan and roll my head back in pleasure. I wrapped my legs around his hips and held him tightly. My hands got lost in his hair as he kissed me, his tongue pressing into my mouth.
His hands trailed down my sides until they landed on my hips. He gripped my hips and lifted my body closer to his as he excited every nerve inside of me. Every inch of my skin that touched him felt like it was on fire. And that it was always meant to be on fire. Feeling him moving inside of me made me feel like I was truly complete.
"I–I love you." I panted out, feeling an orgasm building inside of me.
"I love you, too." He said, moving his mouth to my neck and biting down. I screamed out as my entire body shook in ecstasy. I tightened around him as he held me close and came with me. He collapsed on top of me, both of us breathing heavy and neither of us wanting to move.
Once we caught our breath, Fai rolled off of me before pulling me tight against him and pressing his lips against my forehead. I could feel him smiling against my skin as I breathed him in.
As long as we're together, I know this feeling of being complete will always be here. We love each other and that's all that matters. We're all we ever need.
