To make this more fun to you the reader, I suggest putting on the theme from Video Game Confessions ( /watch?v=tCrrZ1NnCuM )

You're introduced to a young Saya-jin/Endurion male of African/Asian (we apologize for not informing you that he was Blasian) descent about 6'0" with a fighter's frame. His hair spiked and black with eyes of light gray and electrical blue ends on his hair. He wears a typical outfit of a bartender for a fancy restaurant.

"This is Ryo Nazo Blackthorn, a Time Patroller and younger brother to Joshinari Blackthorn. Ryo works in the seven-star restaurant known as the Tori Dragon Palace (which is two blocks away from the Pixel Palace). There, some of anime's most popular celebrities pop in to have a drink. Sometimes, they share stories, and even secrets. Because—as we all know—what the bartender hears is confidential... isn't it?"

Episode 34 – Ash Once Again

Holy crap, it happened. After 25 years, Ash had a win. One that was fully and completely earned! But I didn't really watch it…a lot of people didn't. They were burnt out by disappointment after disappointment.

Which was why Ash and Pikachu were in the bar…alone just taking it all in.

"So here I am. The top. The fight was more exhilarating than anything I ever had." Ash said to me. "And now I can call myself a Pokemon Master. The best like no one ever was."

"Maybe now people will stop comparing you to Red?" Pikachu asked him.

I just shook my head. That was never going to stop and the look Ash gave me could tell that was what I was thinking.

"Doesn't matter. I made it, my goal. But the person is what now?" Ash asked. "Can I finally retire as the protagonist…be allowed to actually age…be allowed to have a future?"

"A new protagonist is something we really need…no offense." I admitted.

Ash actually agreed.

"Honestly, if they're not going to have a final confrontation with Team Rocket…I actually wanted to propose the idea of a timeskip to a new protagonist in Paldea." Ash said before we all laughed at the idea. "But let's be real, we all know that's not going to happen. Not with the way they've been rushing out Pokemon games."

Dawn comes out with a solemn look before giving Ash a simple glass of red wine as she had her own. I poured myself up as we shared a drink in solitude. It was for Ash to enjoy his win…and for an uncertain future.

You see a lot of strange things as a bartender, see a lot of strange things at the Tori Dragon. So, I see a lot of strange things as a bartender at the Tori Dragon, and that isn't no lie. Swear to it!

(A/N: Not much to say on the matter. I'm happy and all, but I tire of the Pokemon anime. Heck, writing my own Pokemon fic hasn't helped but slowly pick apart my beef with the anime as a whole. I just don't really enjoy the anime that much anymore…I guess I find my fun more in playing the games and writing Pokemon stories.)
