Melanie's Point of View-

I headed inside noticing all the lights were off, so I figured everyone was asleep so I headed further into the house towards the kitchen flipping the light on before I began making a quick light snack before I was to go to bed. I made the snack, cleaning up my mess before I headed up to my room with snack in hand and shut the door behind me so I wouldn't wake others with the noises from my room. I opened my laptop searching NXT wrestling, first thing up was a Wikipedia website reading it over before following a link to the WWE website browsing over everything and I found myself at the NXT roster page seeing all his co-workers along with his name and picture listed on the roster page. I clicked on his profile reading his bio, I learned more about him quickly that way before I clicked on the videos section of his profile watching a match or two before seeing his videos of him just talking. I loved his talking videos because they were so much more personal than the wrestling ones and I just couldn't get into the wrestling, I couldn't help but to flinch even though it was demonstrated that most of it was fake but that is just installed in me to flinch with every hit and loud noise. I let out a sigh, I needed to give this a chance but I just don't know if I can trust this. I was afraid I was setting myself up for failure. because how is a man that wrestles for a living nonviolent but someone that isn't even a wrestler more violent than a wrestler? I just wanted to go to give it a chance, this was a part of Corey's life and I couldn't tell him not to do something he loves to do. I shut my laptop down putting aside as I got up taking care of the mess I had from my snack when I heard the front door open, I peaked around the wall to see Kevin coming in.

"Hi Kevin." I said as Kevin looked over at me as he smirked.

"I want to talk to you." He said, that was kind of weird but I nodded wanting to hear him out as I claimed a spot on one of the barstools in the kitchen bar. "I am sorry for spilling the beans on Corey, it wasn't my place to tell you and feel like I had put you in a tough predicament, that wasn't fair. If you don't want to go down there, you don't have to because Corey will understand but you also need to understand that wrestling is a part of Corey's life. Wrestling was why he left my shop in the first place because he got offered this job. If you don't accept this, then you need to let him go because it is unfair to make him decide between his dream job and you." Kevin said as I knew he was right and I couldn't help but to look down at my lap. I wanted to accept it, wanted to learn to deal with it and everything but I also didn't know if I could until I went.

"I completely understand." I said understanding what he was saying, I didn't want to do that to Corey because he was an amazing guy and he didn't have to decide between me and his job.

"Do you still want to give this wrestling a shot because I am not going to get my kid's hopes up for going and we don't go?" Kevin said as I bit at my bottom lip.

"Yes, I want to go and give this a chance, I will never know unless I give it a fair shot…"

"You know there is a difference between wrestling and being abusive right?"

"I think so, but still can't get past the violence or physical aspect of wrestling, just afraid he will someday bring it home with him."

"He won't, Corey isn't that kind of guy…" Kevin said as I nodded, I wanted to trust Kevin. I had no reason not to trust Kevin at least.

"I hope so, I figured maybe if I could go see it in person it would relieve some of the things on my mind." I said as Kevin nodded.

"Whatever you want." He said as I got up from the bar stool, "Good night, how are you handling this whole him knowing thing?"

"Uh…I'm not sure, he wants to see my scars but don't think I am ready to show him those yet. I don't want him seeing them quite yet." I explained as he nodded.

"I understand, you know sooner or later you are going to have to show him and open up to him about that." Kevin said as I sighed.

"I know, good night." I said as I headed out of the kitchen and back upstairs to my room, I grabbed my phone leaving it on its charger while I wrote a text. "'Corey, consider it a go this weekend but don't disappoint me.'" I wrote to him and I put my phone beside me on the bed.

"'I promise you won't be disappointed, if you have any questions you can just ask. You know that I won't hurt you." Corey texted back as I let out a sigh.

"'I know and I will ask you anything.'" I wrote back as I put my phone aside as I fell asleep trying not to think too much about this weekend but it was only to be played by ear.

Friday-

Melanie's Point of View-

Today was finally here, I grabbed my bag that I had packed the night before. I wasn't sure as to what to pack for the weekend in Florida. I've never been so I didn't know what the weather would be like. What was planned for the other days we would be down there, or even what exactly to wear to a wrestling show? We had to be at the airport by 6 AM because our flight was at 8 AM, I wasn't even sure if Corey was on the same flight as us or not or if he had went last night. I headed down the stairs with my suitcase in hand, as I walked further down the stairs I saw Corey sitting on the couch with his bags sitting beside the couch.

"What are you doing here?" I asked curiously as he stood up.

"I'm riding with you guys, we are travel buddies for the day." He said as I bit at my bottom lip trying to stop the smile that wanted to come across my face.

"Are you hungry?" I asked as he smirked.

"It's kind of late to make breakfast, but I will go for a coffee to go if you have a travel mug." He said as I smiled.

"Coffee coming up, but the others are still getting ready." I said as he nodded.

"That is what Kevin said." Corey said as I put my suitcase next to his pile of bags as I led him into the kitchen. "You seemed ready to go, more than everyone else." He said.

"Yeah, I packed last night…what exactly are we going to be doing down there besides this wrestling thing?" I asked as I pulled out the coffee grounds can to begin a pot of coffee.

"Not sure, what do you want to do?"

"I want to do the beach, and some things that are at a reasonable price."

"Girl, I got your tab…" Corey said as I glanced to him evilly.

"But you don't need to have my tab." I said as he smiled.

"You're still my girlfriend to my knowledge and as a perfect gentleman and boyfriend, one should cover their girls tab." Corey said as I let out a sigh as I continued focusing on making the coffee. "I'll be back." He said as he got up heading back into the living room where I heard zippers moving.

'What is he getting out of his bag?' I thought to myself as I leaned back against the counter facing the doorway, I saw Corey walk back in with a shirt in hand. "What's that?" I asked curiously as he smiled and began to unfold the shirt showing it to me.

"It's a custom Corey Graves shirt someone made for me, I bought it online."

"NXT doesn't have shirts for you."

"Not yet, WWE hasn't begun making shirts for us yet but I found this elsewhere that a fan made. I had to purchase it for my girl to wear…I have a couple others as memorabilia." He said as I smirk as he walked closer handing it to me, "I would love for you to wear it to the show." He said as I opened it up in my hands looking at it with a smile.

"This is so weird, having like a celebrity type boyfriend when random people are designing shirts for you." I said as I looked up at him from the shirt.

"You'll get used to it, how are you dealing with the idea of it?" Corey asked as I let out a sigh as I looked down between our bodies.

"I still don't know what to think about it." I said honestly as I felt Corey's fingers push through my hair, I jumped a little from being startled at the sensation as I looked up at him.

"I didn't mean to startle you." Corey explained.

"It's fine…just a little jumpy is all."

"Do I scare you?" He asked as I let out a sigh.

"No…" I answered as he smiled.

"That's because I'm not your ex, I'm a gentle man and you should know that by now." He said as I nodded when the coffee stopped being brewed.

"How do you like your coffee again?" I asked curiously as I turned around pouring some of the coffee into the two cups I had pulled down.

"Just some cream." He said as I nodded as I headed to the fridge grabbing the flavored cream for myself and the milk for him. "What is this? I get milk and you get the pumpkin spice?" He asked sarcastically.

"I didn't know you liked pumpkin spice." I said as he smiled.

"Uh, duh…who doesn't?"

"Ask those that I live with, I'm the only one in this household that does." I said with a shrug.

"Well they're weird…" Corey said as I chuckled as I put the milk back.

"I heard that." Kevin said as he came in, "And you didn't even bother pouring me a cup."

"There is some still left over." I said as Kevin joined us near the coffee pot area as I popped open the pumpkin spice creamer pouring some of the contents into mine and Corey's cups before putting it back into the fridge where it belonged. I pulled a spoon out mixing the contents in both of our cups before we each picked one up. "May I get the keys so we can start loading the car up?" I asked curiously towards Kevin.

"Absolutely." Kevin said as he pulled out his keys handing them over to me to take, I slid them into my pocket before I headed to the table where I sat down beginning to drink at my coffee. Corey and I sat at the table talking about the weekend as Kevin headed back upstairs with his coffee, after finishing our coffee we headed out to load our bags into the car we were taking.

"Why do you need so many bags? You are taking more bags than me and I'm a girl." I remarked as Corey snickered about the comment.

"That's because I need a lot more than you know for the show." He answered as I glanced to him.

"You don't need that much, you wrestle in jeans and you come out in a jean jacket."

"True, but I also need my boots, knee pads, my belt, and my hair gel."

"Oh god forbid you went without gel in your hair." I said sarcastically as he smiled.

"Just paperwork and other things I need there for work." He answered as I nodded knowing he was probably right, I didn't know anything about what you needed for wrestling or in the company he is working for. "What's there to do in Florida and what kind of weather does Florida have?" I asked curiously as we both slid into the backseat and he put himself in the middle seat giving Jack the other side.

"Uh, it's usually nice around this time of year so you can really wear anything and you will be fine." Corey said honestly as he moved to wrap his arm around me on the back of my seat, "As for what there is to do, there is Disneyworld, Universal Studios Orlando, the beach, the zoo…we have to do child friendly things too for Jack's sake." Corey said as I nodded.

"Where does this thing you do perform at?"

"It's at a college, it's a small venue so you will be okay. Trust me and you guys have the VIP experience so you will be able to go in and out of the backstage area. If you need me you will be able to come back and see me."

"You can do that?" I asked feeling slightly more special hearing that come from his lips, "So we are getting the special treatment."

"Always, when you are with me…I'll introduce you to everyone." Corey said.

"Like who?"

"All my coworkers, I am very popular in the back." He said as I smirked.

"You know those Ascension guys?" I asked biting at my bottom lip as I glanced up at him.

"Oh god, you like them?" He asked as he chuckled and I blushed, "Yeah, I'm close to Konnor but not so much with Viktor." He explained as I smiled.

"I'm okay with either one." I said with a shrug as I finally saw rest of the clan walking out of the house with their bags meaning we were close to leaving.
