"BLOSSOM!" Bubbles screamed.
"BLOSSOM! GET YOUR ASS BACK HERE! ARE YOU CRAZY?!" yelled Buttercup as her voice echoed in the crater. After a few minutes, there was nothing. No answer from Blossom at all. "Come on, Bloss," said Buttercup, "please be okay." A few more minutes go by and a faint voice can be heard. "Girls."
"Huh?!" Bubbles shouted into the crater.
"Girls, I think I found something," it became louder.
"What did you say?" Buttercup asked.
"I SAID," said Blossom as she flew out of the crater and hovered slightly above them, "I think I found something." Bubbles & Buttercup looked at object she was holding. It appeared to be some sort of ancient sphere.
The sphere was about the size of a beach ball. It was made of some sort of metal and had glowing yellow lights around it. There were lines like a basketball on it and a big yellow light in the center of the sphere. There was a low hum coming from it and it was vibrating a little it seemed. "What the hell is that thing?" Buttercup asked.
"Don't know," responded Blossom, "it was peeking out of the ground, so I grabbed it. Let's take it to the Professor. Hopefully, they'll have some answers." She flew towards the laboratory, with Bubbles & Buttercup following behind.
They transformed back into their regular forms and the sphere became super heavy. "Holy cow, this thing is heavy," said Momoko.
"Let me help," Kaoru said as she helped hold the sphere. "You're right, it-it is heavy." Miyako opened and held the door for them as they walked through. Professor Drake Utonium and Ken Kitazawa were monitoring something on the computer and Peach was sleeping. Professor looked up from the screen and said, "Hey girls."
"Hi professor!"
"Hello professor."
"Sup professor."
"What's that?" He asked pointing at the sphere. Momoko shrugged her shoulders and motioned her head toward couch. She and Kaoru moved toward it and dropped the sphere in it, causing it to sink into the furniture. "I found it at the bottom of the crater in the middle of the city. We were hoping you and Ken could give some insight." Drake walked to the sphere and looked at it thoughtfully. He moved his hand over it and felt vibrations coming from it. "I've never seen anything like this. So ancient and foreign. That hum is puzzling. Hey Ken, come take a look."
"Sure thing," he said as he got up from his chair and walked toward the object. He was perplexed by what he was seeing. "It's really weird. I'll check every library and research anything I find." Ken walked back to the chair and got to work on the computer.
"Well update you girls when we find something," Drake said as he went over to work with Ken.
"Alright, we'll be going then. Come on girls," Momoko said. They all walked toward the door and left.
2 weeks later, the girls were enjoying the last day of their summer break at the park. They were at least trying get their last bit of freedom. Momoko was wearing a pink t-shirt with the word "Baby" in glitter on it, a blue jean skirt, white socks and high-top red converse. Miyako was wearing a baby blue blouse, navy blue pleated skirt and black shoes. Kaoru was wearing a black t-shirt with a skull on it, gray jean shorts, black socks and black high-top converse. They all had on their PPGZ belts. "Have you heard anything from the Professor yet?" asked Kaoru.
"Nope. Him & Ken are both stumped," Momoko responded.
"Whatever it is, I just hope it isn't dangerous. I don't want any more people hurt," Miyako said.
"Don't worry," Momoko said as she put her hand on Miyako's shoulder, "I'm sure it's nothing major. It could just be some ancient artifact." Miyako smiled while Kaoru rolled her eyes.
"Enough of that! Let's hit up the ice cream shop, I'm dying for some chocolate chip." Miyako and Momoko both nodded and they got up heading for the shop.
As the girls walked down the street, they talked about the upcoming school year and what would happen. They passed by a TV store and something caught Miyako's eye. "Hey, come look at this," she said. Momoko and Kaoru walked towards her to see what she was looking at. There were 2 guys and a cloaked figure standing on top of the police station with a camera from the news recording them. The men had their arms folded. The one on the left had blonde hair (his head was shaved but you could see his eyebrows), fair skin, dark teal eyes, a dark green muscle shirt, black jeans and black boots. What was weird about him were his arms. They were burned beyond believe (think of Dabi from My Hero Academia). There was a crowd of people forming around them just to see what was happening. The one on the right had dark blue hair in an undercut hairstyle, red eyes, no shirt, black jeans and burgundy boots. You couldn't see anything from the cloaked figure in the middle, but the piercing yellow eyes.
The dark blue haired man spoke, "People of Tokyo City, I am Barak, and the blondie is Haco. Both of us are called the Shadows, the trusted warriors of our King. You thought HIM was terrifying, you haven't seen nothing yet. He kneeled before us, before our Demon King. We have been awoken the moment the White light was extinguished."
"Bring forth your heroes," said Haco, "Come face us PowerPuff Girls, so that we may crush you into the disgusting insects' you humans are."
The camera zoomed in on Barak as he spoke, "Getting rid of that idiotic jester was commendable and you have our thanks. Don't think we will show you any mercy. Fight us or we will level this town into nothing." He ended with a sadistic smile on his face as the camera became static. The girls looked at each other and nodded. They pushed through the crowd of people worrying for their safety and made it to an abandoned alleyway.
"Hyper Blossom!"
"Rolling Bubbles!"
"Powered Buttercup!"
All transformed and ready to go, the PPGZ flew towards the police station leaving their respective color trails behind.
Within a few minutes, they arrived at the station and landed behind the men & the cloaked figure. "The PowerPuff Girls Z, is it?" Barak said, "I've been looking forward to this.
"You don't look like much," Haco spoke, "hard to believe your heroes.
"We're here," said Bubbles, "Please don't dest-"
"SHUT UP!" Haco interrupted as he glared at Bubbles, causing her to jump in fear, "I listening to your voice so FUCKING much!"
"Watch. Your. Tone, Haco. Now," spoke the cloaked figure.
"Y-yes my lord." The man took off his cloak and revealed himself. He had light skin, yellow eyes, black spiky hair, a black jacket with a purple shirt, black jeans and dark purple combat boots. "Apologies for my Shadow, he speaks out of turn quite often," he said.
"Wh-who are you?" Blossom asked.
"Ah, where are my manners? I am Solgadan, the nefarious Demon King, but call me Sol for short." He flashed a sharp-teethed smirk that sent shivers down the girls' spines. "Now then, shall we get started?" Sol, Haco and Barak rose to the sky with the girls following suit. They hovered above the station, facing each other. Sol made a beckoning sign with his hand and said, "Come on. Show us what you can do."
