Melanie's Point of View-
I woke up the next morning by my lonesome in Corey's gigantic bed. I began to slowly panic and tried to calm myself down as I slowly pulled the blanket back letting my feet slide out from under the covers. I slowly tip-toed towards the bathroom and the closet peeking into each clearing them of anything suspicious and no one seemed to be in there. I went to my bag finding the closest thing I could to what could be a weapon, and that was my perfume, figured it would at least sting whoever in the eye. I began to hear chatter and laughter coming from the living room as I slowly slid against the wall beside the door frame when I heard the pitter patter of feet walking closer to me and I saw Corey step into the doorframe getting me to jump a little closer to the wall on my left.
"What are you doing and why do you have your perfume with you? Did you fart or something?" He asked as I blushed at the mention of fart.
"No, just…I got scared and this was the most dangerous weapon I could find."
"You going to stink them to death with sweet pea?"
"How do you even know what sweet pea is?"
"That doesn't matter, why are you scared?" He asked as I shrugged not looking at him as he let out a sigh as he reached for my hand pulling me to sit with him on the huge bed, "Talk to me." He said.
"I guess I'm just uncomfortable being here, somewhere I've never been…I don't feel secure like I don't have anything to protect myself with. Logically I know Alex is far from here but I also guess watching wrestling live gave me a few flashbacks of my own…" I said truthfully feeling him kiss at the side of my head.
"This place is the securest place you can be, Alex has no idea of this place or that you are even in Florida. No one has access in or out of the parking lot gate without a key card, same thing with the front door. If you don't have a key card you have to buzz up to the apartment and someone has to let you in. We have a 24 hour watch team and security guards on premise, plus I am here to protect you…I have a bat under my bed along with a gun securely hidden somewhere within this apartment and just to let you know, we are near it right now." He said as I looked to him.
"Have you ever used it before?"
"No and I won't use it unless if I absolutely have to." Corey said as I nodded, "Do you feel safe now?"
"I think I felt safer last night when you held me to be honest." I said knowing I was completely blushing as I looked down at my lap.
"I'm glad I was of service, go put your perfume up and get ready, today is Disneyworld." He said as I looked to him smiling.
"Really?" I asked in excitement.
"Yes, and we are all going to get Mickey or Minnie ears, I personally want to get Goofy ears." Corey said as I chuckled.
"You will be my Goofy for the day." I said as he smiled as I leant in giving him a kiss before I stood up going back into the closet putting the perfume up before I dragged my bag with me into the bathroom. I took a quick shower and prepared for the day's events ahead of me, I knew I should wear comfy shoes and comfy clothes with how long we will be outside, moving, twisting, walking and other things while at the park. I walked out of the room as I finished wrapping the last of the holder around the ponytail I had made. I saw Kevin pulling a bag onto his back unsure what was inside the bag but figured not to question him as Corey pulled Jack onto his back for a piggy back ride.
"You want a piggy back ride too? I can carry both of you." Corey asked as I chuckled.
"I doubt you could but thanks for the offer." I said as I put my hands in my pockets, "Are we all ready to go?" I asked as I looked over everyone who seemed to nod in unison as we all headed out of the apartment complex to the car which Corey drove us to the amusement park. We heard Jack getting the most excited in the back and I was trying my best to hold in my own excitement. Corey paid for parking before he pulled forward following the other cars to find an empty spot closest to where we would have to get on the tram to take us to the entrance of the park. We climbed out individually, Corey met me on the passenger side where he slid his hand into mine. We walked as a group to the tram and waited our turn to claim a row on the tram riding it the duration to the front entrance of the park. When allowed we climbed off the tram and finding each other after the big rush of a crowd and as we formed back up as a group.
"Jack, always hold onto one of our hands and never let go, okay?" Anita said as she was knelt in front of him giving him the little lecture of sorts.
"Okay mom." He said as he grabbed her hand as we followed rest of the crowd and we must have looked the weirdest because Kevin, Anita and Jack were linked by their hands and then there was Corey and I linked by our hands. We got in line behind all of the others at the entrance waiting our turn to go through the turn style to get into the actual park.
"Are you excited?" Corey asked as he moved his hands to rest on my hips as I nodded.
"Beyond, I have never been and I am ecstatic, would you judge me if I get excited about the characters or something ridiculous like that?" I asked curiously.
"Absolutely not, that would make me like you even more."
"Are we going to see Mickey and Minnie today?" Jack asked.
"Yep, we will go to their houses first." Anita said.
"We get to go into their houses?" I asked excitedly as the other three adults looked at me as I shrugged, "What?" I asked as Corey chuckled softly as he smiled.
"Yes sweetie, they have their houses." Corey said as I smiled and the line slowly moved to let us into the park. "Off to Mickey and Minnie's place." Corey said as he looked at the map he grabbed locating the places and letting him be the tour guide as to finding these places.
"Wow, look at this." I said as I looked over the detail as we went into the houses, and went through all the different rooms taking pictures with my phone. I wanted to remember all the details for months to come. The last room we entered held Mickey and Minnie where we were able to take a picture with them. Corey volunteered to take a picture with me and them. Kevin took a cute couple of photos of us both. We headed out of the house walking through rest of the kids section of the park letting Jack ride the tiny rides that we knew he could for sure ride watching him have fun as Corey and I separated from them to explore the New York street they had seeing a jail you could climb into so it looked like you were in a jail cell. "What would I get arrested for?" I asked as I slid between the two elastic type bars that allowed me to get into the cell.
"Probably for assisted murder…" He said as I looked to him.
"You think I am really hardcore for assisting murder." I said with a smile and chuckle.
"I didn't say whose murder and that you committed the murder, someone else did and you just assisted them somehow." Corey said as he shrugged with his hands in his pockets.
"Why would you be arrested?"
"For murder." He said as I smiled and chuckled.
"I'm your assistant then?"
"Perhaps, come on my sexy assistant." He said as I slid out from the cell jumping off the platform grasping his hand heading back to find where we left Kevin and Anita. We found our way to a different part of the park, the one unfortunate thing was a few rides we had to do the child switch due to Jack's height but at least we all got to ride most of them on some level and just being with them was fun. Corey dragged us into this store called 'The Mad Hatter' which was right beside the Alice in Wonderland ride which I greatly wanted to go on where we each found a pair of proper ears that we wanted to wear for rest of the day.
"May we go on the Alice in Wonderland ride?" I asked curiously.
"Of course, there is also Snow White and Peter Pan just around the way."
"Really? I must go on them!" I exclaimed with excitement as we got in the short line for the Alice in Wonderland line which all of us were able to get on, I loved it as Corey had his arm around me and he seemed to careless but I was in awe. After that ride, we on another and another then we found Winnie the Pooh ride which I thought was absolutely cute and adorable because the cart we rode in was in the shape of a bee hive.
"I think it is about time to go find our seats for the parade then its fireworks time." Corey said as I smiled. We headed to the main street, along the way I saw Mary Poppins and Burt as I began to happily smack at Corey's arm excitedly. "What?!" He asked as I pointed.
"May we?! May we?!" I asked as he chuckled.
"Come on." He said as he led me over there to meet Mary Poppins and Burt as then I saw Peter Pan and Wendy, so what started as going to Main Street turned into spotting all these characters right before the parade which I had to meet. After meeting Cinderella, we finally headed to the main street where Kevin, Anita and Jack were already blended into the crowd so we fell back of the crowd to watch the parade.
"Sorry, I get really excited and act like a kid at times." I said embarrassed and felt bad we weren't with rest of the group.
"It was cute, no worries…you hungry? I am craving a churro."
"What's that?"
"Girl you haven't lived until you have one, stay here." He said as I nodded as I try to take up as space as I could to hold his spot while he was gone when he returned with two of these things called churros, it looked to like a long stick form with cinnamon around it. I wasn't sure how this was going to taste but I gently took a small bite from it and it was instant heaven.
"This is amazing." I stated as I had to cover my mouth as I spoke with my mouth still full with food.
"I told you." Corey stated as he bit into his churro, we slowly ate at our churros watching the parade that was taking place in front of us and it was more towards the children than anything but I loved it because I got to see all the characters. As the parade passed we walked behind all those that were already following behind the parade towards the castle to watch the fireworks behind it. Corey stepped behind me feeling his arms wrap securely around my waist as we listened to the music and the voice of Tinkerbell speak for the first so many seconds of the song. We then saw the fireworks begin to pop in the sky for our entertainment. It was a beautiful show and I thought it was a great spot to watch with the castle right in front of all the fireworks. "I think that it's a night for us, I don't think Jack will make it much longer." Corey said as we stood where we were waiting for the crowd to disperse more before we tried to attempt to find rest of the party we were with.
"You're probably right." I said as I snuggled close to him feeling his body warmth on myself warming up on this nice chilly night, it wasn't absolutely cold but it was a bit chilly. I felt my phone begin to vibrate as I pulled it out of my pocket seeing Kevin's name as I immediately answered it, "Hey Kevin, we're by the castle, where are you?"
"By the entrance gates, Jack is passed out in Anita's arms so I think we should call it a night."
"Yeah, we will be right there." I stated.
"Alright see you soon." He said as I hung up the phone.
"They want to go, Jack is already passed out in Anita's arms…" I relayed to him as Corey nodded as we walked hand and hand towards the gate where we exited the park and took the tram back to the parking area.
"How was that for your first trip to a Disney park?" Corey asked as I leant into his embrace as we sat on the tram.
"I loved it, thanks for the ears…" I said as I took off my Mickey ears that had my name stitched on it.
"You're welcome love." He said as he kissed at the top of my head before the tram made a turn then slowly came to a stop at the proper spot for us to get off. We all exited the tram trying not to wake the sleeping boy as we walked the distance to the car we had drove here. Corey drove the five of us to his apartment where we headed up the all the floors to his apartment where he unlocked the door to let us into the spacious apartment.
"Good night." Kevin whispered as Anita mouthed it as well as we retorted it back to them as the two of us headed into the one room we were sharing. Both of us headed into the closet where I slid the ears into the bag hoping they won't get ruined as I grabbed the same pajamas as the night before as I headed into the bathroom quickly changing before I slid out of the bathroom going back into the closet seeing Corey already in his pajama pants putting something back into the drawer as I didn't think anything of it.
"I'm tired." I said as I stood up stretching and yawning.
"A long day inside that park would do that to you. I should get you to bed, we got another big day ahead of us before you fly back Monday." Corey said.
"Are you flying back with us?" I asked as I climbed up the bed and flopped onto my back to slide under the blanket.
"Yeah but on a different flight, there a few things I need to do here before I go back on Monday." He answered as I nodded.
"Do you have any more shows?"
"I was supposed to have one tonight but I bailed because I didn't have a match on the card but I have one tomorrow, but I don't know if those three would want to go because I think they have other plans."
"I might want to go." I said truthfully as I didn't look him in the eyes.
"That's up to you princess."
"Would I be able to go on last minute like this?"
"Yeah, you may not be able to get a seat in the crowd but you can hang out backstage and meet a few people." He said as I nodded which on one hand sucked because I wouldn't be able to sit out in the crowd and watch the show but on the other hand I will be able to meet and get to know his coworkers.
"That might be even better."
"You say that only because you want to meet Konnor." Corey joked with a smile as I even let out a chuckle as I felt his one arm wrap around my waist making me feel more comfortable. "It's up to you if you want to wait to see what those fools are doing before deciding or you want to say fuck them and go with me, that is up to you." He said.
"I think I will just go with you." I answered as I bit at my bottom lip as his free hand reached out brushing my bangs out of my face.
"Whatever you want beautiful." He said as I smiled as I scooted closer to him allowing my head to rest against the curve of his neck like the night before and my arms bending up between our bodies as I felt his arms wrapped loosely but firmly around me making me feel even more secure there with him.
