Melanie's Point of View-

I climbed out meeting Corey on his side of the car before he held my hand as he led me towards the venue of the show tonight. I followed letting him get us in since he was my link to getting in and everything regarding the show.

"Let's get you that backstage pass so no one will question you." He said as I smirked.

"Please." I said as he led me to the office where he was able to get me that backstage pass before he led me to what he called "catering," which was a room filled with food and a few other people in there that I wasn't sure were talent or other employees that the company has hired for other reasons.

"If you want to wait here, I'll be back to get you soon…do you want to come watch me do my shoot and promo?"

"Absolutely." I said as he smiled as I walked further into the room claiming a seat at an empty table as I pulled out my phone. Seeing there was no free Wi-Fi, I had to use my 3G to surf the web to look up more about this company. I also wanted to look up what that slang meant that he was using. It wasn't that hard to understand but wanted to make sure I knew what he was talking about.

"Hi, I'm Ashley." I heard an innocent female voice say as I turned to look at the blonde who had her hand stuck out to shake mine as I reached out grabbing her hand giving it a shake.

"I'm Melanie." I replied back with as she slid into a seat at the table with me.

"I'm married to Konnor, so you Corey's new girl?"

"New girl?"

"It means nothing, trust me…he can't stop talking about you so you must be really good person…" She stated as I nodded.

"So, how did you get used to this whole wrestling thing?" I asked as she smirked.

"You're new to this aren't you?" She asked as I nodded. "It was hard at first seeing him getting hurt or fake hurt, whatever they want to say it is but over time I learned to accept and understand that is just what they do. They are trained professionals, and it's better them than me in that ring."

"But what did you do to get accustomed to it?"

"I had attended a lot and a lot of events, spent a night or two in the ER with him…it just comes with being a wrestler's girlfriend or wife…it just takes time sweetie, trust me…it is tough. At first, I was flinching and was the odd one out, I was you at one point sitting by myself not knowing anyone and didn't want to leave Konnor's side. Now I know everyone and am like the head of the PTA of sorts if you want to compare it to like school." I smiled and let out a chuckle at that statement as she and I began to getting to know each other. She was giving me a lot of good tips as to dealing with being a wrestler's girlfriend and being able to get used to this whole thing which I found helpful. Corey returned in his ring gear but this time he was wearing a black jacket that was zipped half way up but he was still wearing skinny jeans with suspenders attached to them that hung down from where they were attached to his pant loops.

"Hey Ashley, you ready to go Melanie?" Corey asked as he looked to the blonde before looking to me.

"Yeah, nice meeting you Ashley and maybe we will hang out during the show." I said as she smiled and nodded.

"Sounds lovely." She said as I stood up as Corey slid his hand into mine leading me out of the room letting him lead us to wherever he needed to go.

"This is like its own little production, it has its own small photo studio and film studio wrapped into one." I said kind of surprised as we got to a part of the place that had a green screen hanging from the ceiling that Corey was supposed to be standing in front of for his photo shoot. I stood aside letting the photographer and its assistants do their job. Corey walked over unzipping his jacket pulling it from his body handing it to me as I bit at my bottom lip staring at his now exposed upper body. I began to realize that maybe there were female fans that was seeing what I saw, a hot man and was oogling him which was comforting that others saw how attractive he was, but also very uncomforting because other females wanted a piece of him. I watched as they were letting him pose and they were doing their things. It was neat watching all of this go down before he took off the tactical type vest that they had him slip into before he walked over and I handed him the jacket he was wearing.

"How was that?"

"Interesting…but I had kind of a realization." I said as I bit at my bottom lip as I turned to follow him out of that area to where he needed to go next.

"What is that?"

"That there are probably female fans that are oogling over my boyfriend and I don't know how I feel about that." I said as he let out a hardy laugh at that and I had to wait until he calmed down from his laugh before we could even continue this discussion.

"Sorry…that was a good one…" He said as he wiped at his eyes, "Melanie, they might find me hot or whatever you girls use to describe us men but the fact of the matter is that I am going home to you and only you." He said.

"Do you ever get girls throwing themselves at you?" I asked seriously.

"Yes but I have always turned them down, I would never sleep with what we call ring rats." He said as I chuckled at that name.

"Ring rats? Is that the proper term for them?"

"Yes, what else would you call them?" He asked as I laughed even harder at this time, I had never heard such names for those people. I couldn't help but to wonder if he was telling the truth because I wonder if he could really go without being with someone or without getting some from someone. This made me question about his exes and how many there were and how long ago the last one was before he found me. I waited aside as he stepped in front of the camera doing the promo they needed him to do and that took the longest because they had re-do it more than he should have but I haven't studied film so I don't know what was going on or why they did that. Corey seemed to be nailing it, he was great at acting, or remembering his lines or something. I watched as he was told that was a wrap and he headed back to me, "Now I am free until show time." He stated as I smiled as he led me back to catering where he led me through the tables of food making our own plates before we found a table that we could both sit together where we chatted, I even told him how Ashley had shared some tips to get better about this whole wrestling thing and he seemed happy about that. I was enjoying myself here, I think I would like it being here more often because people just seemed so genuinely nice here, Ashley just came up introducing herself without a reason other than just because then everyone Corey was working with today seemed nice, they were all laughing and having a good time regardless of it being work.

"Corey, I think I would love it here…as much as I know I have stuff to overcome as to this wrestling aspect but think I would love it here by the way the people are." I said truthfully as I pushed a hand through my hair and smirked.

"I'm glad to hear that because I think I will never stray away from this so you are stuck with it if you wanted to stay around." He said as I chuckled as I playfully smacked him as he moved to wrap his arm around me resting it on the back of my chair as I cuddled closer to his embrace. I think this was nice spending time with him even though he was on the clock and where we currently work we spent time together but it was actually spent getting work done than actually being able to spend time together as a couple of a sense. "I need to go find out what I'm doing tonight, you want to come with me to get my assignment?" He asked as I nodded as I stood up grabbing my own plate to take care of my trash as I followed him to where he needed to go to get his so called assignments. Corey introduced me to the lead creative team member which was awesome because he was apparently a legend of his own sense then he took me to meet the general manager who was also a legend within the wrestling community.

"Would it be wrong of me to ask for a photo?" I asked curiously as Corey went to knock on the door and he chuckled.

"See how it goes before popping up the photo question because I don't want to get the heat for it and have to do another match tonight if I don't have to." He said as I chuckled.

"But I thought you loved wrestling?" I said sarcastically as he gave me a glare.

"Don't test me okay." He said as I chuckled as the door opened and we were let in as Corey introduced me to the manager of the company, we got to chatting with him and I was able to luck out to get a picture with him which I found amazing before we headed out of the office. Corey could begin preparing for his match as I walked out to stand beside the bleachers and leaned against the railing watching the end of the previous match knowing what was next.

"Hey." I heard the familiar female voice say as I turned to see Ashley walking out to join me.

"Hey, is our two men in the same match?" I asked curiously as she smiled.

"I guess so…" She said as I smirked as she stood beside me and we watched the match together. She was like guiding me through it as to keeping calm and the tricks of the trade of knowing how serious the bump is or how hurt they really are, etc. It was nice to have someone else that had been where I was that was talking me through it and calming my nerves which made me happier that I came to the show tonight. After the match, both of us headed to the back to greet our better halves and then we went to the catering to wait. As they showered and such, she began to ask me questions to get to know me better and vice versa which led to exchanging of numbers when Konnor was the first one to come in. "Konnor, this is Corey's girl Melanie." Ashley said introducing me, and I tried not to blush or freak out because of who he was. I stuck my hand out to shake his hand.

"Nice to meet you, great match you had tonight." I said as he shook my hand.

"Thanks, how you like this whole wrestling thing?"

"It's something new for me but it's something I have to get used to." I said shrugging, "But Ashley told me how she got into this and how she got used to it so I am going to take her tips to heart trying to get used to this whole thing." I said honestly as he smiled.

"Well that is great, Corey is a great guy and he is very nice, he isn't stupid like most guys and tough guy." He said as I nodded.

"How long have you two known each other?"

"A couple of years now." Konnor answered as Corey entered joining us and Corey wrapped his arm around me and felt him kiss at my cheek. "Shall we do the normal? Denny's?" Konnor asked.

"You even have your own after party?" I asked curiously as he chuckled.

"Yeah, if you want to call it that." He said as I smirked.

"It sounds good to me." I said as Corey nodded.

"We'll meet you over there." Ashley said as we followed them out then Corey drove us to this Denny's they always go to for like a double date or something which was cool and nice to do. Since I've never done it before and it will give me a chance to get to know his co-worker better. The dinner was nothing but laughter and chatter which was nice, Corey had his arm resting on the back of the booth behind me the whole time pretty much besides when we ate but I loved this. I think I could get used to this because to be honest in Pennsylvania I didn't get this type of things, I didn't get to go out with people I considered friends or even close enough to be acquaintances. It was going to be weird moving here and all my 'friends' were his coworkers but it wasn't necessarily just his coworkers but their girlfriends or wives. I knew he had female coworkers that wrestled as well which I was greatly anticipating meeting a few of the girls because they could kick my butt if they really wanted to. Except for one, they all seemed really nice by the character, I think that is what Corey calls it, she has. After we had finished dinner, the four of us exited the building heading out to the two different cars we had drove to the diner.

"It was nice meeting you two and I hope that maybe we can do this again sometime in the future when and if I am down here again." I said as I shook Konnor's hand.

"Absolutely, I'm sure Corey will bring you around again." Konnor said.

"Don't be a stranger, you have my number." Ashley said as I nodded as she surprisingly gave me a hug before I saw Corey and Konnor give each other this manly hug and he gave Ashley this hug before we climbed into Corey's car letting him drive us back to his apartment complex.

"They seemed nice." I said, that was all I could really say about them as Corey smiled.

"Yes they are, I told you that majority of the people there are the sweetest people you will ever meet." He said as I nodded as I was now realizing he was right about his coworkers and the people involved in that production. Corey drove us back to his apartment and headed up to the apartment, we were greeted by three restless bodies waiting outside the door for us. "I hope you guys weren't waiting long." Corey said in a sympathetic and apologetic manner.

"Nah, not at all." Kevin responded as Corey unlocked the door to his apartment before he pushed the door open letting us all into the apartment of his. "We'll see you in the morning, it's past our bedtime." Kevin said as we nodded as I headed into the bedroom I shared with Corey. I went over to my suitcase where I grabbed the pajamas I have been wearing the past couple nights and changed into it in the bathroom before I had reentered the bedroom seeing Corey already sprawled out in the bed.

"You couldn't wait to get comfortable, could you?" I asked with a chuckle.

"Absolutely not…" He said as I went into the closet tossing my outfit on the top of my suitcase as I headed back over climbing into the bed with him.

"Does wrestling make your back sore?" I asked curiously as I scooted closer and rest my chin on my hand to hold my head up as I looked down at him.

"Eh…some nights more than others…" He said with a shrug.

"What do you do to relieve the pain you endure?" I asked.

"I occasionally go get massages but tend to do a few more stretches and spend a day in bed if need be. But I don't let it make me bed ridden, because a sore back isn't going to hold me down." He said with a smirk. I laid down and scooted closer to him feeling his arm around me.

"Does any of your body hurt right now?" I asked curiously.

"Nope, I got what I need to heal me…" He said as he glanced to me, "Love cures everything." He stated causing me to blush as I rested my head on his chest hearing the soft echoes of his heart beating within his chest.

"Trying to be smooth, I see…"

"Did it work?" He asked with a sly smile and a soft chuckle.

"I can't answer that sir." I said with a smile as I felt him move slightly feeling his lips press against the top of my head.

"Night beautiful." Corey said in an almost whisper as I smirked.

"Night." I said as I scooted closer to him not giving a care about the alarm and forgot to even set one. I was woken the next morning by the banging of someone at the door startling me as I jumped off the bed and backed into the corner.

"Whoa! What the?" Corey exclaimed as my sudden movement must have startled him as he sat up with his hair all messed up as he looked to me then to the door.

"Someone's at the door…it startled me…sorry." I said embarrassed as I pushed a hand through my hair knowing I had overreacted to the knock but it seriously startled me as he nodded.

"It's fine sweetie." Corey said as he got up heading towards the door where he opened it when I saw the three members I was travelling with were already loaded up with their bags and they were fully dressed. "Oh for Christ's sake, I forgot to set an alarm. Give us like ten minutes." Corey said as I realized what had happened as I hurriedly went into the closet pushing everything that needed to go into my bag back into my bag before I quickly changed into my travel clothes and pushed that into the bag as well.

"I totally forgot the alarm…sorry for being your alarm this morning." I stated towards Corey who was leaning back against the bed as he watched me put my stuff back into my bag.

"Its fine baby…it's something I have to get used to as well." He said with a shrug as I pulled my bag up to a stand so it could roll, "I guess this will be goodbye for now?" He asked as I smirked.

"Yeah but I'll see you at the shop right?"

"Of course, and we may have a couple dinner dates as well if you are okay with that and a sleep over at my place." He said as I smiled.

"Would love to." I said happily.

"Come along before we make everyone late." He said as he reached out grabbing my bag for me as he led us to the car and took us to the airport where he pulled up to the drop off section of the terminal. "Have a safe flight back and thank you for coming this weekend." Corey stated.

"Our pleasure man, anytime we can come see a free wrestling show we are down." Kevin said with a smile.

"We'll have to do it again, if that is okay with you Melanie." Corey stated.

"I am okay with that." I said with a smile.

"We'll be inside and we'll check you in Melanie." Kevin said as he grabbed my bag going inside leaving Corey and myself.

"I really had fun this weekend Corey, and think that wrestling is something that I still need time for me to get accustomed to but think I can handle it." I said as he smirked.

"I am beyond happy to hear that from you."

"I'm happy to say it." I said as he wrapped his arms around me in a hug as I didn't want to leave him because it was oddly great spending a whole weekend with him. Even though sometimes we had two other people with us and cuddling with him at night, even though it wasn't anything sexual it was nice sharing a bed with him and feeling secure and protected. "Bye Corey." I said stepping back from his embrace and I broke the distance this time giving him a kiss on the lips and felt him kissing me back.

"Bye sweetie. Text me later." He stated as I nodded as he gave me one more kiss before I headed inside to meet up with rest of my group.
