Chapter 8: Baby Blue Agony

"GET UP!" Haco said as he grabbed Bubbles' right leg. He picked her up and slammed her into the ground on her back.

"AAAGH!" She yelled. He picked her up and slammed her again into the ground, this time face first. He picked her up and slammed her a few more times, leaving a growing trail of blood after each slam. After slamming her 10 times, he twirled her by her leg and threw her up into the air. He flew after her and hit her with a left punch that sent her further up into the air. When she was able to regain herself, she floated in the air. When she looked down, he was gone.

Bubbles looked to her left and to her right. When she turned around, Haco grabbed her by the neck with his right hand. "I just want to tell you, He pulled her closer, "I'm going to enjoy this." He grabbed her neck with his left hand as well and squeezed. She tried to pry his hands off, but he wouldn't budge... then her skin started to sizzle.

Her eyes widened and she began to panic. She started clawing at his hands and tried to scream, but no sound came out and his grip was too strong. She started punching and kicking him, but to no avail. She propped her feet against him and extended her legs to break away from him. She only stopped at his arms' length, and she couldn't break away.

Haco removed his left hand from her neck, swatted her legs off him, soared down to a five-story building and slammed Bubbles through each floor until they reached the ground floor. People ran out of the building while he was distracted. He placed his left hand back on her neck and kept squeezing. She was only able to mutter, "Stop," as tears welled up in her eyes. After about three minutes, he finally let go of her neck. He stood up and smiled at his handiwork.

Her neck had second degree burns. Tears flowed down her face. "Now, I won't have to hear your fucking voice," he said as he grabbed her by one of her pigtails and lifted her off the ground. He punched her in the stomach. "GAAUGH!" She yelled. He then held his hand to her stomach and proceeded to blast her with intense flames, so intense that it melted the building they were in.

"AAAGGGHHHH!" She screamed as she was engulfed in flames. He simply muttered, "Spark" and an explosion erupted from his hand. She was sent flying through two buildings and skidded across the street. She rolled until she stopped with her lying face down. The citizens were starting to gather around, and they noticed the state Bubbles was in. She was able to slowly raise her face from the pavement, blood & saliva pouring from her mouth. She's on her hands and knees, her hearing was somewhat filled with white noise.

Haco stepped out of the melting building and jumped into the air. He said, "Blaze Fall" and flames surrounded his arms. People looked up and screamed in terror, warning her of the upcoming danger. A man in a business suit ran up to her and tried to pull her away. As Haco plummeted to the ground, she noticed a shadow that seemed to grow. The man and Bubbles looked up and Haco landed a double axe handle on top of her head.

The impact resulted in an explosion that covered two city blocks with fire & smoke. Any scream that came from the citizens and the man who tried to help her were snuffed out. As the smoke cleared, a large crater was formed with Haco & Bubbles in the center. The ground was scorched with any man-made structure disintegrated and ash filled the air.

He loomed over with a look of disgust. How is she still alive? It must be the white z-rays within her blood, he thought. She was lying face down again, resembling a starfish. Her body was covered with second degree burns. Her PPGZ one piece suit & her skirt were severely burned. There were also burns on her scalp, which created patches of missing hair. He narrowed his eyes at her and said, "Get up." She flinched slightly.

"Get. Up. NOW!" Her body tensed up and she dragged her arms to the plank position. She began to lift herself off the ground. He just stood and watched as every bone in her body was under immense pressure to move. She was able to prop herself up on one knee. Blood & saliva dripped from her mouth. Her breath was shaky and raspy, as if she couldn't breathe. Tears filled her eyes and flowed down her face.

She placed her hands on her knee and winced in pain. "Ugh!" She gasped. Her knee had burns and the skin was swollen. She lightly placed her hands on it and used it to propel herself upward. She was finally able to stand, just not upright. She was hunched over while blood & saliva still dripped from her mouth and her mouth was slightly open. She raised her head to look him in the eye.

"Took you long enough," he said as he put his arms up in a fight position, "You're lucky I can't kill you, but I can put you at near death!" He lunged at her and punched her with a right hook. Blood splattered off her face and onto the ground & his fist. She was gonna fall back to the ground, but he grabbed her by the collar with his left hand.

"Can't have you falling now," Haco said as he pulled her towards him and punched her with another right hook. He let go of her collar and she staggered backwards. He lunged at Bubbles again and proceeded to hit her with multiple attacks: left hook, right uppercut, left hook, right hook, left roundhouse kick and finished with a right uppercut. She flew out of the crater and landed on her back.

She lifted her head off the ground and looked at the crater. He walked out of the crater, her blood dripping from his hands with a soulless glare in his eyes. Flames started enveloping his hands and her blood started to evaporate. He kept walking until he stood over her once again. There were a few raindrops falling from the sky.

He lifted his hands, palms facing toward her, and his flames enveloped her entire body. She convulsed in pain, while there is no scream. Nothing. With her throat severely burned, her vocal cords were very damaged. Any tear or tears that flowed down her face quickly evaporated as soon as they fell.

Her skin boiled and burned, resembling the sound of fire crackling at a campsite. Her arms were covering her face in hopes to protect herself, but to no avail. Any sound that she was able to make was muffled by his flames. He grinned and increased the heat of his flames, making it more intense while scorching the ground underneath her. She started to flail and thrash while rolling around on the ground. He made sure she stayed in his flames and followed her along the ground.

After about 10 - 15 minutes, rain was pouring down from the sky with several clouds blocking out the sun. Haco brought his arms to his sides and his flames dissipated from them. He waved his right hand over her body and whatever flames that enveloped her vanished. He simply smiled a sharp toothy grin and said, "That's more like it."

Bubbles was covered with severe third-degree burns. Her scalp was so burned that there were even more patches of missing hair. Her pigtails have been burned away along with her eyebrows. Her breath was ragged and shaky. Her skin sizzled with the pouring rain.

Haco, a voice echoed throughout his head. He widened his eyes at who was speaking to him.

He closed his eyes and responded, yes, lord Solgadan.

Is that pigtailed girl still alive?

He looked down at her and replied, yes, my lord.

Good. Bring her to the center of the city. Barak and I will be there.

Yes, my lord! He knelt and threw her over his shoulder. He bent his knees and took off into the air. He quickly scanned the city and found its center and flew toward it.
