In the town of Royal Woods; young Lincoln was at the comic book store looking over their newest purchases with his best friend Clyde McBride. "Can't believe we managed to snag copies of #423 The one where he first dons his current suit!" Clyde said excitedly and Lincoln was as eager as Clyde was. Coming up to the sidewalk was a car beeping it's horn and out came Lincoln's older sister Lori who was now standing by the open door of the car.
Clyde was showing his nervous excitement around Lori which the two siblings were all to used to; "Mum sent me to pick you up; said that she has big news to share with us." Lori stated getting out of the way to let Lincoln take the passenger's seat in the front row.
Lincoln said goodbye to Clyde and smirked as he asked "why Lori; I am surprised that you were able to pry away from valuable 'talking with Boo-Boo Bear time' on your phone to lick up little ol me!"
There are infinite possibilities in the multiverse and in one version of this universe; such a comment from Lincoln would warrant an aggressive reaction from Lori. However in this universe Lori had only grew up with the one sibling: a brother. This Lori never had to deal with the stress of ending up to be the eldest in a family of 11 children so she was more chill and relaxed; especially in her relationship with her only brother.
"Very funny; practice for when you get a chance to show your act in front of a stage!" Lori shook her head with an amused smile as they buckled their seat belts and Lori started driving.
"What do you think the news is Lori?" Lincoln asked and a shrug of the shoulders was the response from his sister. "You think it has to do with her boyfriend? Did they break up?" Lincoln asked thinking of the first thing that came to mind.
"Best news in a long while if that's the case!" Lori replied and Lincoln was wide eyed as she sighed. "I know they are happy... Sickingly with how they act together in front of us... But I could do without being forced to spend time with those daughters of his!" Lori continued on with a look of frustration in her eyes and Lincoln could only sigh.
"I... Know what you mean... The ones at my school were easy enough to avoid... The creepy goth girl, the toddler genius and the twins who are always fighting... How could twins be the exact opposite?" Lincoln asked and there was scoffing from Lori.
"Try dealing with high school with that Luna girl and how loud her music gets! Plus April Fool's Day is a literal nightmare with that wannabe comedian stalking the halls... With how dumb that Leni girl is; she is the most tolerable of them!" Lori grunted as soon they had arrived at the Lyman home where they lived with their mother Rita.
They entered and then there was Rita waiting for them excitedly with her hands together. "Lincoln, Lori... I have some big news for the both of you and it concerns Lynn Loud..." Rita said with a head gesture to the kitchen are where getting ready to enter was the man in question: Lynn Loud Sr.
"You two broke up? We are all here for you Mum through this difficult time and I am sorry about it... Though if we are honest I don't think that it had any hope of working out anyway..." Lori said at once putting on her best sad act with Rita taken aback and so was Lynn Sr as he had been in the middle of entering the living room.
"No Lori; we have no broken up... Far from it..." Lynn Sr said getting their attention and Lori's face morphed into a false innocent look.
"Sorry Mum... Just joking around to lighten the mood for the REAL big news..." Lori said laughing awkwardly as Lincoln was giving her a 'smooth' look on his face and Rita sighed with an annoyed look on her face.
"Actually; Lori and Lincoln... Two nights ago during our dinner date I got down on one knee and this lovely woman said yes!" Lynn Sr said putting an arm around Rita's waist with a smile as Rita looked over the looks on her kids' faces with them open mouthed shocked.
"YOU'RE GETTING MARRIED?" they said at once as their faces fell.
"Just think of it; you all moving in with us and the girls! You with your new sisters one big happy family!" Lynn Sr said with a smile which soon fell as he saw them looking panicked.
"This is why I suggested breaking it all to them gently..." Rita told Lynn Sr with a sigh.
Lincoln was thinking about all the time spent at the Loud's family house and how it was like a nightmare with how busy and loud it was; unable to get space without one of the Loud sisters up to something or wanting to drag him into what they were doing.
"You think we can stay somewhere else when you all move in together? I was thinking that Aunt Ruth's might not be so bad... THAT SENTENCE SHOULD NEVER BE ABLE TO LEAVE MY LIPS!" Lincoln shouted losing it as Lori put a hand on Lincoln's shoulder to calm him down.
"Come on now Lincoln; we still have plenty of time to prepare for this! Do you know how long it takes to put a wedding together..." Lori told him as there was a cough from Lynn Sr to get their attention as Rita's face pleaded with him not to say anything further.
"Actually... To give you all time to adjust and make it all seamless; we discussed you all moving in with us within the week!" Lynn Sr said as they both just calmly stood up and left the living room.
The couple then heard from the backyard the sound of a collective yell from the Lyman siblings; "All this should have been told to them gently I tried to warn you but no... 'Honey; you're being ridiculous. They will take the news no problem at all!' What do you have to say about that now?" Rita asked Lynn Sr with a look and her arms folded as Lynn Sr just looked nervous.
Soon moving day for the Lymans into the Loud House came and the Lyman siblings had their heads down as they entered the house as the moving fans finished putting in their stuff. "I hope you two can at least not act like you are both being sent to your deaths..." Rita as she took them by their shoulders for them to face her. "Look you two... I know it hasn't exactly been easy being with the girls that will be your new step-sisters and now you will all be living under the same roof... Can you two please at least try and make this work and get along? Any problems and we can sort them out together... Can you please promise that?" Rita pleaded as they grumbled in the affirmative. "Close enough..." Rita sighed as she led them in and there were Lana and Lola were arguing and fighting.
"Your stupid frog chewed up my best doll!" Lola ranted as Rita led them upstairs.
There was Lynn Sr to greet them with a smile; "Can I please officially welcome you both to the Loud family!" Lynn Sr said as they grumbled out thanks with him coughing behind his fist. "Lincoln; I have taken the liberty of transforming a disused closet into your personal room. A bit small but we can fit you and your stuff in here!" Lynn Sr said opening the door to Lincoln's new room and he looked in thinking that it was definitely much smaller than his old bedroom.
Lincoln yelled as he was tackled to the floor by Lynn Jr who looked excited as she said "yo Lincoln; welcome to the Loud house! You being here is much better now that you're my brother now; I can finally have someone proper to play sports with!"
"Come on now Jr; let Lincoln have time to settle but I promise you that all 3 of us can go out and toss the ol pigskin together!" Lynn Sr said with a smile as Lincoln looked nervous as he got over what just happened as the two Lynns looked at him expectedly.
"That's great but... Sorry but I am not really into sports... I don't even know what a pigskin is supposed to be..." Lincoln admitted as Lynn Sr's face fell a bit but Lynn just laughed it off as she punched Lincoln's shoulder.
"Don't be silly; you're a boy and boys love sports. You will love them soon enough." she said as she ran off. Lincoln sighed knowing that dealing with Lynn was especially going to be difficult but then there was the eldest Loud daughter Leni jumping in to embrace Lori.
"Lori! It's been so hard being the oldest all this time but now I not only get another sister but an older one as well! This is going to be so much fun roomie!" Leni said excitedly as Lori was open mouthed at Leni's words as she glanced at the faces of Rita and Lynn Sr and their faces said it all.
"Lincoln; if you want to switch I am all for it!" Lori said glancing down at her brother with a face and tone of voice that was practically pleading.
Leni then let go and was now picking up Lincoln to embrace as well; "I wouldn't mind sharing a room with Linky!" Leni said as Lincoln was gasping and thinking about the new nickname that Leni must have come up for him. "After 8 sisters; I never thought that I would get a brother and I always wondered what it would feel like but now I have one! We are totes going to have so much fun together! I can help you with fashion advice and if you need help with girls..." Leni said as Rita had Leni put Lincoln down as he was now choking from how hard she was squeezing.
Then they heard a sound as Lori's hair was now static as Luan had grabbed her hand to shake and she had a joy buzzer; "The buzz around here is that you 2 woudl be moving in with us as our new siblings!" Luan said as she started laughing from her pun.
Rita had them all give Lori and Lincoln their peace so they could settle; Lincoln went into his new room and Lori found her new room to share with Leni. They then fell right on top of their new beds and just sighed...
Kind of an extended version of the Lymans V Louds chapters from my Enter the Lincoln-Verse story; we know how hard Lincoln has surviving in the Loud House but how much harder would it be if he hadn't grown up in the large family? Plus if he weren't close to the sisters before since they were just weird girls he knew before and was only spending time recently because their parents were dating.
