Twenty-Nine

There was no place that Itachi could safely bring up the contract with Saisu, his friends were too curious about his current so-called relationship. They just wanted to be there every step of the way and it was suffocating.

Itachi finally decided to bring Saisu over to Tamaki's place, where he knew his friends wouldn't readily find him. He had the man meet him there after he lost Kisame and Deidara.

Tamaki frowned when Itachi walked in, and her eyes landed on Saisu. The man offered her a friendly smile, but she turned away from him.

"Who is this?" she asked.

Itachi glanced from her to Saisu and deadpanned, "New client,"

"Ouch." Saisu muttered.

"I see," Tamaki was cold and calculating when looking at Saisu but warm and caring when she'd turn back to Itachi. It made Saisu frown, wondering what her deal was. He was already seething with jealousy at the thought that this woman could be anything other than a friend to Itachi. "Well, you can use the dining room table to finish whatever it is that you need to do, but keep quiet, Neko-baa is sleeping," she said as she walked outside, through the backdoor.

"Thank you," Itachi said, getting down to business and opening his backpack to pull out what Saisu was sure was the contract Itachi had been insisting on. "Come take a seat,"

Saisu did as asked but kept quiet.

"Read through everything and be sure that you understand it," Itachi sounded so professional while talking to him.

Saisu didn't like it.

He grabbed the contract and read through it. Itachi had thoroughly written down all the conditions, boundaries, and everything that came with his job of being his fake boyfriend. Saisu could understand why Itachi wanted this contract to be signed, but Saisu didn't want to. He had other plans in mind that involved getting Itachi to fall in love with him.

"This contract, it isn't all binding, is it?" Saisu asked.

"All binding?" Itachi gave him a confused look.

"Beyond this job of you pretending to be my boyfriend, is this contract carry on for the rest of our lives or something?" Saisu grabbed the pen but hovered over the signature line.

"The contract only dictates to this job," Itachi said, "After that we both go our own ways like nothing of this ever happened."

"I see..." Saisu signed and scooted the contract back over to Itachi. "I guess that is all fine and well,"

Itachi looked at the signature and nodded. "Let's be clear about everything before we end things here. I don't want you to feel like you must go above and beyond to pretend on the boyfriend aspect when it comes to my friends. It would be best if we didn't involve them too much. We are trying to avoid them finding out the real reason we're in this mess."

"I won't," Saisu happily said.

"Well, if there isn't anything else, we should get going," Itachi stood, grabbing his bag as he did. Saisu followed his example and got up.

"Itachi, who was that girl?" Saisu asked.

"Are you talking about Tamaki?" Itachi asked in return, getting a nod. "She's a dear friend to me."

"Really, just a friend?" Saisu continued to ask, "Are you sure she wouldn't be more to you?"

"Yeah, just a friend," Itachi walked out and waited for Saisu to follow. The man narrowed his eyes as he looked at Itachi.

"Swear that you are not lying to me," Saisu said in a demanding tone.

Itachi frowned. "What's gotten into you?" he asked.

"Uh..." Saisu shook his head and walked outside with Itachi. Itachi locked and closed the door, ignoring Saisu for the most part. "Just so you are aware. Dokan has men following and watching my moves closely. I am sure he might be doing the same with you,"

"I'm aware," Itachi responded. "I've noticed them around. They aren't that discreet with what they are doing."

"What should we do to get them to stop?" Saisu asked.

"I'm still working on that," Itachi responded, "for now just try to keep to yourself and whatever it is that you do. You let me take care of everything else."

Saisu blushed, pleased with the way Itachi was dealing with things between them. He hid a smile as Itachi walked him to his car and saw him off. He couldn't help glancing back to where Itachi still stood, on his phone, doing whatever it was that he did.

Itachi was so dreamy.

Dokan was furious.

He had investigated who this Itachi was. What he found was that he was one of the top officers from Akatsuki and someone that was sponsored by his family company. The worse part was that he couldn't just easily point the finger and accuse Itachi of attacking him. The Akatsuki was a company dear to his father and the man would overlook any little blithe they might have had with his son because well, his father was not exactly proud of him and his past decisions.

Dokan knew he was on his own in this matter.

Besides, the one he wanted to make suffer was Itachi, and Akatsuki had nothing to do with that. He wanted to get at the man that had stolen his property.

Not that Saisu was much of a piece of property as he was trash, but still, it was the principal of the thing. Dokan just couldn't bring himself to let Itachi have him.

He wanted to make Saisu suffer as well.

There was just one issue.

"There is nothing about Uchiha Itachi that can be used against him. He's spotless." Idate, the man he had hired to investigate him said.

"How is that possible?" Dokan growled.

"Oh, there is always something about people that are that clean." Ibiki, the other investigator said. "If not, I know just how to plant something against him. We'll get him."

"See that you do," Dokan said.

"Dokan, sir, you have a meeting in ten minutes. We should get going," his secretary said and Dokan nodded, and made his way out of his office.

"Make sure that you destroy Uchiha Itachi's spotless reputation," he ordered, slamming the door behind him.

Ibiki sat back, comfortable while Idate let out a deep sigh. He was stressed out about his job, but he and his brother weren't popular private investigators. Not after they had been dropped from the Konoha investigation department and had to start out on their own.

"I know that you are okay with falsifying things and just doing as our employer says for the money, but I am not," Idate said.

"We are getting paid big money for just for destroying one guy," Ibiki sat up straight, moving towards his brother, "Just one meaningless, insignificant man is all we are doing. Once we have our money, we can pay our rent and advertise ourselves properly. And then we won't need to take shoddy jobs like this one,"

"You're wrong, we are not just harming one guy. We are harming that ex-boyfriend and the family and friends of each of these men." Idate argued, "You have to look at the bigger picture, people don't come alone, and you know for a fact that Uchiha Itachi doesn't come without people in his life"

"That's what makes it better. He can rely on those people to pick him up once we are done humiliating him." Ibiki rolled his eyes. "Now stop being such a sap and let's go. We're going to miss our window of planting valuable evidence."

Idate let out a frustrated sound but followed his brother either way. They had to plant evidence that Itachi was helping traffic creatures. It was one of the biggest things that the law was enforcing at the moment. It was the thing that Itachi supposedly went about investigating and arresting cult leaders, or other traffickers for.

And they were about to incriminate him as being part of that.

Chiyo was finishing her favorite dinner when she heard sounds just outside her door.

She had been asked by Itachi to report any possible break in's or just the sighting of anyone snooping around his apartment.

Drying her hands, she made her way over to the window and peaked out. She had installed cameras around the perimeter and discretely also placed signs that they were there. The camera's captured the area around her apartment and Itachi's, as was the reason they had been installed.

She noted two men going around, and finally opening the door to walk inside. She shrugged her shoulders and went about, ready to sit for her favorite show and get to her dinner. She was halfway done and so enthralled about who was going to be the next model when she heard screaming from outside.

"What are you doing in my apartment!" A feminine voice screeched.

"Sorry ma'am we were inspecting the area,"

"Where's your permit! This apartment needs to get ready for display and you bozos walking around it is against the law,"

That had to be Miss. Oro, the real estate lady that Suigetsu had fix up the apartment so it could be rented out again. Chiyo shook her head and turned up the volume. It was none of her business whatever they were arguing about.

She just wanted to know who would win the title of the next model.

The next day Itachi swung by Chiyo's apartment to pick up the footage. Itachi analyzed the video and quickly identified the men. Chiyo offered him tea and some sweets, and he obliged her by staying for an hour before he left.'

Kisame, Suigetsu, and Itachi had officially moved away.

Itachi had left the jeep to Kisame and Suigetsu.

He knew how important it was for them to travel and do their own thing as a married couple. The Jeep had been bought primarily for work, a thing that Kisame and Itachi had pumped their first few checks in order to pay for it.

At the end of the day, Kisame had paid for most of it. Itachi had been only a part time worker and been forced to take academic training that Pain deemed important. Not because Itachi lacked experience or anything, but it was for the merit of what was expected from a person working in Akatsuki. Itachi had not been the only one that had been required to pass those classes.

From then to now, financially, they were doing incredibly well.

Itachi didn't lack money in the least and it was time for him to get a car of his own. The only reason that hadn't been done before was because he and Kisame were partners in the work field. One car had seemed enough back then.

While they were still partners and would work together, Kisame had an important person of his own that made it difficult for them to continue with just one car.

"What car are you planning on getting?" Sasori asked. He had been the one to drive Itachi to the dealership and was keeping an eye on him today.

"Maybe one of those," Itachi made a motion towards the Jeeps and SUV's.

Sasori scoffed and gave Itachi a look. "Come on Itachi, live a little." The red head grabbed Itachi's arm and pulled him towards the luxury cars.

Itachi ended up purchasing a candy red Mercedes S- class. It was a stylish car, but not too crazy as he wasn't going to go out of his way to drift or race anyone. While Itachi wasn't all that happy with the choice, he at least was glad that it was a working car, and it would do unless he changed his mind.

With the new car, Itachi drove himself out of the dealership with Sasori following close behind.

Idate and Ibiki were scared to death when they met Konan and Pain.

The two of them made it clear that they wanted them to stay away from Itachi or they would be stripped of their license to be investigators. With the threat, the two of them told Dokan that they were done.

Dokan smirked.

It was going to be a lot more challenging than he thought. With that in mind, he decided to get in contact with a real ring of criminals that he had helped and knew. It was time to call in a favor from them.

The past few days had been stressful for Itachi.

Not only did he have to hear from his friends about how much they didn't like Saisu, but the man that is supposed to be his boyfriend wasn't making matters easier.

Taking a deep breath, Itachi looked at Saisu, who was currently sitting across from him. Saisu shot him a shameless grin full of food. Clearly he hadn't finished chewing or swallowing his food.

It was disgusting.

He had been on his way to lunch with his friends when Saisu had shown up out of nowhere, as he had started to do, then proceeded to make his friends uncomfortable with his presence. Saisu grabbed onto Itachi, making sexual remarks about how he missed and wanted Itachi all at the same time. He called him embarrassing pet names and refused to keep his hands to himself. It had been awkward trying to keep a straight face while Saisu was making a grab at his crotch, intending to size him up.

To say the least Itachi had turned Saisu around and told his friends that he would catch up with them later. Thankfully none of them had followed them and Itachi brought Saisu to Neko-baa's in hopes of not getting interrupted while correcting Saisu's behavior.

Still, the shocked looks on his friends faces spoke volumes as to how they disapproved of what Saisu had done. It was hard to get the image out of his head, where it was burned along with his lies.

Itachi sighed, running his hand through his hair.

Besides Saisu, he was currently facing a situation that he didn't think he would have when he had first agreed to taking on the fake boyfriend job. He could deal with Dokan threatening him and having people follow and plant false evidence, but the man had changed targets. His intention was clear on harming Saisu. This meant that Itachi had to be by his side most of the time.

Saisu was constantly being followed by Dokan's men and being threatened by him.

This led to Itachi having to be a bigger part of Saisu's life and it didn't help that the man on his own was clingy. Escorting and giving his time to Saisu was taking a toll. Itachi knew he needed to find a way out of this situation, and quick.

Being someone's boyfriend was exhausting, he couldn't even fathom how everyone else did it. No...it had to be that this was all fake.

Fake.

"I know we haven't had the chance to discuss this again, but I am trying to make it clear to you that there must be boundaries. You're not really my boyfriend, I am only doing this to help you with your ex." Itachi curtly said.

Saisu scowled, anger clear on his face.

"I understand that you are helping me, but you are not understanding me. I am so grateful to you for saving me and I want to do nice things for you. You have no idea how my feelings for you are just growing," he said. "You are truly something Itachi, the way you've protected me and dealt with Dokan's threat," he swooned.

"You don't have to do anything for me. I don't want anything from you," Itachi stressed. "I agreed to this job and am just doing my best to ensure that you remain safe as my client,"

"Itachi I think I'm falling in love with you," Saisu countered, like he hadn't heard anything that Itachi had just said.

Itachi flinched back at that. They hadn't even known each other for that long.

"What...no. How could that be possible. I have done nothing to encourage you falling in love with me." Itachi said.

"It's an emotion Itachi, you can't control it," Saisu fluttered his eyelashes, looking at Itachi with intensity. "Love is an unpredictable mistress, and I just know that what I feel for you is just that, love." Saisu's face grew serious when he saw the blanched look on Itachi's face. "Itachi my feelings are not to be toyed with. You must take responsibility for making me feel this way,"

"I don't feel the same..." Itachi sat back, feeling hopeless. The last thing he had wanted was for the lines to get blurred. Saisu was clearly not taking this seriously. This had to end here, and a new tactic would have to be used to deal with Dokan.

"Okay, right now maybe you don't feel the same way that I do and that is okay," Saisu sounded so understanding, reaching his hand towards Itachi's, begging for his trust. "But I am here asking you to please, consider me?" Saisu pleaded, "Give me a chance to be your real boyfriend."

It hadn't been that long since they started this charade. It wasn't making any sense in Itachi's head how this man was claiming to already be in love with him.

"You will have to forgive me, that is not something I can currently do," Itachi declined politely. "We have a contract that we are following. Please keep your feelings to yourself and respect my wishes or we will end this agreement here."

Saisu was in disbelief.

"Can't you at least consider, maybe with more time, if you change your mind...I just need a chance." This was a first for him. He easily had men falling for him when he wanted them. Itachi shouldn't be any different.

It wasn't like this powerful demon had a mate yet.

Saisu felt the burning need to make him his.

Insane, how he knew him less than a month and already this demon had his heart beating out of his chest.

"No," Itachi coldly said.

The finality of those words had Saisu flinching back, his head bowed to his half-eaten meal. Okay, he had to calm down. Maybe he was just coming on too strong. All he had to do was play by the rules, and he should be fine.

"I understand Itachi," He muttered.

"I will come up with a way to solve our problems soon," Itachi said. Saisu nodded as a heavy silence settled between them. He didn't want to say anything that might further upset Itachi into ending their contract.

The thing was that he was running out of time and Itachi would end the contract the second that Dokan was dealt with.

He needed to find a way to stay in Itachi's life. Anything to get this demon to love him.

Finishing their meal, the two got ready to leave. From what Saisu knew speaking your desired others name, holding their hands, and even small little gestures were enough to start sparking an attraction. That is why as they moved to exit the cozy house, he grabbed Itachi by the collar of his shirt, and pulled him down, pecking his cheek.

"You are just the best boyfriend Itachi!" He sweetly and cutely said.

Itachi was startled.

A loud gasp from beside them made them snap their heads to what looked like a shaggy brown-haired teen and another teen wearing round sound glasses.

"Itachi you...you cheater!" The shaggy brown-haired teen snapped.

Itachi blinked, confused.

"Kiba, shut up," The other teen grabbed Kiba and dragged him away.

"HOW COULD YOU!" Kiba screeched as he was dragged farther away.

"Who was that?" Saisu asked.

"Uh... I think that he's Tamaki's charge," Itachi shook his head. "Anyways, let's get going." he said. Saisu nodded and got into Itachi's fancy new ride. He hid a grin behind his hand as he was driven safely home, Itachi had been so shocked by that Kiba kid that he had paid no mind to the sudden kiss that Saisu had given him.

Sure, it had not been a kiss on the lips- but it was a start and that was all that mattered to him.

He thanked Kiba for being such a distraction, and decided he needed to continue with his new plan. To Subtly seduce Itachi into being his official boyfriend.

Sasuke gripped his cell phone hard, unable to believe what he was hearing.

The poor device made clear cracking sounds that caught Juugo and Kimimaro's attention. They glanced from where his pale hand was choking the phone to Sasuke's angry face, where his teeth were being gritted.

Sasuke was on the verge of completing his revenge. He was one step closer to destroying everything that Menma had ever worked for and built. Only for everything in his own life to come crashing down at the news that Kiba and Shino had for him.

"What are you talking about?" he asked, his breath shaking. He wanted to be sure that he wasn't hearing things, because that just couldn't be.

"Sasuke," Shino tried to laugh, but his tone was now stiff, "We could be wrong, there is no way of knowing what we actually witnessed-'

"Enough," Sasuke growled, "tell me again what is going on with my Itachi,"

The room was charged in energy that it had Kimimaro and Juugo on edge. It was electric and palpable how Sasuke's anger covered the space of the room. They already knew that Sasuke could be irrational when it came to Itachi, but this was beyond what they had yet to witness from him.

Just what was being said to him...

"Itachi has a boyfriend." Kiba responded this time, pushing Shino to the side. "He was walking out of Neko-baa's house when that guy kissed him and said that Itachi was the best boyfriend ever, and we saw it all. There is no doubt that they are together!"

Sasuke's fisted hand opened and closed beside him. The phone that was being held to his ear finally cracked.

"How is that possible, there is no way," Sasuke took a deep breath. "I thought you guys were keeping an eye on him!" he growled, his eyes flashing a deep red.

"We're sorry that we must tell you this. We've kept our eyes on Itachi like you've asked us. We are as surprised as you are. We don't know when this happened but this is what is going on," Shino calmly said. "What should we do now?"

"Break them up I don't know. Make Itachi dump that loser!" Sasuke demanded without much thought. All he wanted was for them to get that person away from Itachi.

"And how are we supposed to do that?" Kiba asked, ready to do anything that Sasuke demanded.

At that something cracked inside of Sasuke.

"Arrgghhh!" he screamed. There was nothing that he wanted Kiba nor Shino to do. He wanted to be the one...to be there. To just-

He threw his phone against the wall, where it broke into pieces. He made a dash for the keys, but Kimimaro was fast to snatch them first and hide them from him. Sasuke bared his fangs at him in anger. He was ready to fight Kimimaro if he had to.

"No, what are you planning." Kimimaro demanded, baring his own fangs in challenge to Sasuke. "Calm down, you can't go off just like that! Tell me what is going on!"

"I'm, going to kill that guy for daring to try and date my Itachi," Sasuke said it like it was the most obvious thing in the world. "Now don't get in my way or I will kill you for stopping me!"

"And how do you plan to do that?" Kimimaro asked, not at all faced by Sasuke's threat. "Just how do you think that you will get to Itachi when you don't have the means to do so? Think Sasuke!"

Sasuke narrowed his eyes as he faltered. Kimimaro was right, but he had to do something.

"I don't know, I'll figure it out. The faster I leave and get to Itachi the better," Sasuke brought his hand out, asking for the keys. "Hand them over,"

"It's not that simple Sasuke, like it or not, your papers are all in Kaguya's hands. There is no way for you to travel out of town just like that," Kimimaro continued to reason. "If you get caught or anything, it could spell trouble and it will take us a lot longer to get you to Itachi. You don't want that, trust me."

Sasuke let out another frustrated growl.

He was done with how everything was standing in his way to get home. He already knew he needed his papers if he was going to go out of one state to another. Taking a deep breath, he took a hard seat on the floor and got to thinking. He still wanted to accomplish his plan, but Kaguya wouldn't be back for another ten days or so, there was no telling if it would be more.

It wouldn't be less.

He was sure of that. Things were never that easy.

"We can travel in our animal forms. "No one is going to bat an eyelash at cats crossing states," Sasuke said, his eyes flashing over to Juugo and Kimimaro who were waiting on him and his decision.

"No, it would be suspicious. We will get caught and tested to see if we are shapeshifters or something," Juugo reminded.

"That's why we do it at night, in the dark. We can cross over in the shadows of the night. We'll only have a few hours to finish destroying Menma's main building. After that, we should get going," Sasuke said as he got to his feet, ready to implement his plan.

"Are you insane, let's just wait for mom to get back," Kimimaro urged, hoping to talk reason into Sasuke. "It's not like getting to Itachi a day or two earlier will change anything and you haven't even figured out how it is that you are going to make yourself known to him. How..."

"No, I will not be waiting and leaving Itachi to that person, I can't." Sasuke gave them that look. The one that said that nothing would be changing his mind on the matter. "Itachi is stupid, he's a kind soul. If he's letting that person manipulate him or anything, I just," Sasuke shook his head. "I just can't leave Itachi alone like that anymore. I'm desperate."

Sighing, both Kimimaro and Juugo nodded in agreement. They would help Sasuke get to Itachi.

"Alright, we will help you get to him." Kimimaro said.

"Really?" Sasuke got a happy look on his face. It had been so long, he wanted to get to Itachi as fast as possible.

"But first, we finish here and you come up with a plan as to how you will come into Itachi's life." Kimimaro said. "Then we will get ready to go."

Sasuke hesitated.

He had thought over several ways that he wanted to return to Itachi's life. There was going back as Kitty and seeing Itachi's happy face to see him. There was going as himself and Itachi not recognizing him and rejecting him... his heartbeat fast at just the thought of losing Itachi. If he went back as Kitty, could he be honest and finally reveal who he truly was or was it better to go as Sasuke and hope that Itachi believes he is Kitty and doesn't hate him from the start...

Well, it was time to make a decision.

Menma was sitting in his office, going over the reports from each of his companies.

There was something fishy going on. Someone had to be sabotaging his companies. He had millions in dollars of product stolen that had yet to be found. The buildings had been not only been raided but destroyed, making him pay to repair the damage. He had lost so much, and he couldn't afford to lose more.

For now, that seems to be the extent of the damage.

Menma was quick to get lists and reports of all that was stolen and reported it.

None of his employees showed themselves to be at fault, but he now realized that he had to tighten security. With that in mind he decided to also amp up the security not only on his shipping centers, and warehouses, but his production companies as well.

With that in mind he started to work on setting up meetings that would talk about how they would move forward to ensure the safety of not only the company but his employees as well. He was going to have to push more money into that, but he had no other choice. He needed to take preventative measures so something like this didn't happen again.

Menma sighed, rubbing the back of his neck.

Why did all of this have to happen before his biggest launch of the year?

His new products were going like clockwork, being packaged and readied to be displayed in every beauty store. His websites were on a countdown to getting updated with everything that would be coming. He was anticipating having his customers order a lot.

They were about to be incredibly busy.

He started to pack up his bags and was about to move out of his office, wanting to go home for a change of clothes and some rest, when the entire building shook. He froze mid-step and turned around. His eyes widened when a large black ball of flames crashed in through his office window—shattering glass that shouldn't have been easily broken, and sending them dangerously flying across the room.

Menma barely had time to dodge.

Sasuke's eyes narrowed on Uzumaki's Menma's building.

The final stop on his plan for revenge.

This building was the pride and joy that Menma had erected all on his own. This was his blood, sweat, and tears. No one had helped him, and he had estranged this part of himself from the family. No one was allowed to associate any of this with the up-and-coming Hokage.

Now Sasuke stood high, looking down at that legacy, while Juugo and Kimimaro had been left to plant bombs at the base of the building, detonating them all at once. It would crash down the first floor and might harm a few employees, but that wasn't necessarily what Sasuke's goal was.

The thing that he wanted the most was to show his father that he had lived. Not only that, but that he had become strong enough to kill him—and he didn't want him to forget it.

Eyes flashing red, Sasuke filled his chest with air and released a deep black flame, right into the window where he could sense that man. The flames easily blew out all the top floor windows and blew off the face of the side of the building. It crumbled down, sinking slowly, and kept burning, threatening the rest of the building to topple over...

Sasuke didn't care.

His eyes locked on Menma who looked shocked and devastated, the man was in complete disbelief, but he was still alright. On his knees on the floor, but there wasn't a scratch on him- typical for a proud man like himself.

Menma looked up, eyes locked on a petit raven-haired boy. Their eyes were a deep black, so familiar to someone he couldn't get out of his head. Her—the woman that he had loved and been betrayed by not too long ago. That boy also had her pale skin- like the moon itself- and that beautiful, almost fragile, thin frame that had attracted him to her.

It had made him want to protect her...

Menma swallowed hard, shaking his head of such thoughts.

"Hey, who are you!" he called out before he even thought about it. There was something thrumming deep inside of him that he knew who that was. He knew exactly who this boy was.

"What, you don't remember trying to kill me and my mother," The boy responded, a taunting sneer on his face that resembled him so much. There was no doubt in Menma's mind now. "Father," the title was spat like it was the most disgusting thing that child had ever uttered in his life.

Menma's eyes widened.

Disbelief filled him. He remembered that night clearly. One he relived, over and over again inside of his head...the broken record of his life.

"I'm sorry," he breathed, his voice soft and his head bowed.

The boy scoffed. "I don't care to hear it," he said, eyes flashing red. "I just came to watch everything that you ever cared about burn," The flames grew, but Menma made no motion to move. This is all Sasuke wanted. For Menma to know the face of the person who brought him down. The person that destroyed everything that he cared about. "Suffer just like we did!"

Sasuke felt confused as he watched his father.

He thought that the man would be angry. Maybe he hoped that he'd cry and beg for him to stop. That he would attack him and try to kill him. Instead, Menma looked resigned, like he didn't care that the building around him was burning down.

"Sasuke, we are ready to go," He heard Kimimaro call through his headset.

Sasuke had been ready to fight if his father had made the first move, but seeing him stand there, all pathetic. Sasuke was done. He'd done what he planned and now he was ready to go and live his life—he needed to get to Itachi.

"Let's go," Sasuke stepped back, and vanished.

Right now, Itachi was more important to him.

Sasuke let out a deep breath once he was in the safety of the cab. The screams of people, the sound of fire engines rushing to fix the mess he had caused, were just background noise. Sasuke was focused, his eyes set as the building finished off into ashes... his eyes turned off to their regular black color and the flames vanished.

Kimimaro and Juugo gave the driver instructions on where to go. The nearest airport was a few hours away. Then they would have to run.

They had nothing with them.

Sasuke looked away and toward the front of the cab, as it started to drive into the main street.

He had been set on revenge, that was true, but in a way, he had always planned to keep his promise to the people he cared about. Kaguya had helped him and brought him up. He was thankful to her. Although he had not been able to let go of his need to get revenge—he kept his promise to her in regards of revenge.

He didn't fight his father.

He was proud about that.

"I have a problem that I need taken care of," Dokan said as he sat in the conference room. Across from him were some one the biggest clients that he served. "I am afraid that I won't be able to continue delivering your products because of it."

"Just what is the issue?" The head person- Danzo= asked. He narrowed his eyes.

Danzo was a man who relied heavily on having the creature parts that he procured to be shipped out of Konoha, and to his clients. He was able to hunt down creatures and take away the parts that gave them power, so that he sold to a small clientele that had their beliefs, but that was a front in case things got caught.

What Danzo's real exploitation was, was pure demon organs. The man attacked and abducted children from strong clans of demons and sold off their parts for high value. In fact, under the bandages covering his body, there were embedded body parts of demons that gave him powers beyond his own—because that was what having other demon's flesh could do for you.

What this man did was disgusting, and what more he was part of the Hokage's council of people. He had a position that covered what he did best- steal organs from other demons without getting caught as he was able to cover it himself.

"The problem we currently have is a little snooping officer by the name of Uchiha Itachi. If we don't take care of him, I am afraid that everything I do will get exposed, and that means your little deals too Danzo," Dokan said.

Danzo frowned. "You are telling me some foolish nobody is threatening my business,"

"Bingo," Dokan smirked.
