The alarm clock rang out for a minute before a hand slapped the top of it. "...Morning already, huh?" Lincoln wiped his tired eyes and slowly sat up with a sigh; last night's events immediately flooded his mind. His first order of duty was to check on Lucy to see how she was and then get to moving the drugs. He finally felt cared about again last night and he was determined to show them that he cares about them too. With a slight groan, Lincoln got to his feet and began to change into his normal clothing.
After getting dressed, he made a beeline for Lucy's bedroom, knocking thrice on it before asking if he could come in. A few moments passed before Lucy said he could. She sounded tired. Had she slept? Stepping into the room, he could tell that if she had slept, she hadn't gotten much of it. "Hey, Luce. You doing okay?" Lincoln asked, which got a dry chuckle from her. "Okay? No. But I'm better than I was last night... how're you?" Lincoln smiled and sat down on the bed next to Lucy and let out a sigh. "I'm doing as good as can be expected, I guess. At least the drama is over for now, huh?" Lucy looked up into her brother's eyes. "Don't play dumb, Lincoln, and don't lie to make me feel better. We both know whatever you've gotten yourself into is nowhere near over. Carl, the one with the shortest fuse in that entire family, has a problem with you. He's not going to let that go anytime soon if ever." Lincoln broke eye contact with his sister, thinking up a response. "Well... you just let me deal with that, okay? I don't want anyone else getting involved in this shit." Lucy got to her feet with a sigh. "If this gets any worse, and we both know it will, you're going to need others involved. You can't do this alone." Lucy walked out of her room, leaving Lincoln alone. He flopped down onto Lucy's bed with a groan. She was right, right about everything and it annoyed him. He had no plan, no defense, no nothing to protect himself and his family from the Casagrandes. After laying there for five minutes, he got back up and headed downstairs and despite many protests from Leni, Lisa, and the twins, he convinced them to let him go out for a while.
Stepping into the outdoors, Lincoln took a deep breath of fresh air. His first job was to go back to Gus Fring's Games n Grub and move the boxes of drugs to his usual spot, that being the garage. Before he could do anything, however, he felt a hand on his shoulder. Lincoln's eyes went wide, and out of instinct, elbowed the person behind him in the ribs. "OW! DUDE, WHAT THE FUCK?!" Lincoln knew that smoker cancer voice anywhere. "Luna? I-I'm sorry I just...You snuck up on me." He put his hand on her back while she recovered. "Lincoln, I wanted to talk to you. Not out here though. C'mon." Before Lincoln could speak, Luna grabs his hand and begins dragging him along, away from the house. "L-Luna! where are we going?!" Luna continued, pulling him down the street, responding with a simple, "Not here." Lincoln huffed and allowed her to drag him off to wherever.
"Great. You've taken us into a dirty alley, just what I always wanted." Lincoln leaned against the wall and eyed his sister. "So, are you going to tell me what this is all about?" Luna looked left and right down the alley before turning to Lincoln. "You know that sooner or later, this thing with the Casagrandes is going to go to shit. You're going to need to prepare for the storm that's coming your way and I'm going to help you with that." Lincoln raised his eyebrow and smirked. "You're going to help me? Look, no offense intended here, Lunes, but I don't think you'd be able to help me much." Luna rolled her eyes and stepped toward Lincoln. "Tell me then, Lincoln. What IS your plan? you've got a psycho kid bent on killing you after what you did to Sergio-" Lincoln opened his mouth to reply, but Luna put her hand in his face. "Don't bother. Maybe I am wrong but I don't think I am. I mean, Sergio just randomly DOESN'T show up to a drug trade? I'm surprised they bought that shit." Lincoln pushed Luna away and hissed through his teeth. "Keep your fucking mouth shut." Luna grinned. "Heh, once again brother, you easily reveal the truth because you let your emotions get the better of you. Is that why you did what you did? Sergio said something that struck a nerve?" Lincoln glared at her with fury. "Listen, you junkie fake rocker. Don't think for a moment that I've ever forgiven or forgotten what you did! you aligned yourself with that thing across the street, allowing it to control our lives like we were puppets! You ALLOWED that to happen for your own selfish-" Luna quickly got in Lincoln's face. "I'M selfish?! We had a good thing going, you stupid bastard! We had money. We had fame. If you'd just kept your mouth shut, we'd all be fine right now! but no, you just had to go and BLOW IT UP! You just had to stick your nose where it didn't belong and now we're in this mess! You ruined all of our lives by leading that psychopath down there!" Lincoln shoved Luna out of his personal space, fists clenched. "I had no idea he was following me and Clyde! I had no idea what he had planned! You want somebody to blame for your fat master's death, go blame him and he'll tell you where to shove it. The life we live now may be terrible but at least it's not the same boring loop we were stuck in for years! At least I'm not tortured nearly every single day by random idiots who keep breaking out of juvie somehow! those years showed me something, Luna! they showed me that you don't care about me at all. You let me suffer so that you could keep living a life that was satisfactory for only you, screw everyone else, right? You don't care about anyone but yourself. Fuck you, Luna." Lincoln could tell that his words had hit Luna hard, but he was all out of sympathy for her, and he left her in the alleyway, alone.
