I get that a lot happened in the last chapter. I just hope that you readers aren't too mad at me for killing off Master Fu.
Chapter 16: Introducing Team Miraculous!
Outside the Agreste's mansion, the crowd of akumatized villains stretched out as far as Ladybug could see. The villains were standing completely motionless and still stuck in a bowing position.
"I wonder if their backs will be sore after all this is over," Cat Noir said as he and Queen Bee brought Master Fu's body outside. Rena Rouge and Argus followed them closely, dragging the still unconscious Gabriel between them.
"Cat Noir, can you and Queen Bee please hide your grandfather around the corner there?" Argus pointed to the side of the mansion. "We can fetch him after Ladybug deakumatizes the populace and they all leave. I don't want to explain to reporters why we have a dead civilian with us." Cat Noir and Queen Bee rushed to comply, while the latter complained about having to carry a dead body.
"But how can I deakumatize them? There's no akumatized object to break," Ladybug pointed out. "I saw two akumas transform my parents by phasing into their bodies."
"Just trust your instincts, Ladybug," Argus said as Cat Noir and Queen Bee returned to the group.
Facing the crowd of villains, Ladybug took a deep breath. As she glanced back at the other heroes, Cat Noir moved to stand next to her. He smiled at her, his eyes filled with love and confidence in his lady.
Ladybug opened her yoyo. "You've done enough harm, little akumas," she said as she began to spin her yoyo. Suddenly, the akumatized villains moved to stand with their backs straight. "I'm freeing you all from evil!"
As Ladybug continued to spin her yoyo, the image of a black butterfly appeared on each of the villains' chests, right over their hearts. The akumatized villains started to lean back slightly, as if they were all facing a strong gust of wind.
Suddenly, the images of black butterflies over every villain's heart peeled off their chests, turning into their akumas. With each akuma removed from a villain's chest, that villain returned to their civilian identity.
The akumas swarmed forcefully into Ladybug's yoyo, but she held her ground. She kept spinning her yoyo even after her arm, despite all its enhanced endurance, went numb.
Eventually, the last akuma flew into the yoyo. After giving it an extra spin just to make sure she got them all, Ladybug closed her yoyo. "Gotcha!"
Opening her yoyo one last time, Ladybug set the now purified butterflies free. "Bye bye, little butterflies," she said as they filled the air.
For just a moment, the swarm of white butterflies hovered in front of Ladybug and her fellow heroes. Simultaneously, the swarm dipped slightly, as if thanking the Miraculous wielders.
And then they flew away together like they were friends, teammates, or a family.

Ladybug grasped her Lucky Charm trampoline in one hand and easily tossed it into the air. "Miraculous Ladybug!" she cried.
As the swarm of magical ladybugs restored the damage caused by Hawk Moth's akumatized minions, the former villains snapped out of their trance. And as the gathered crowd tried to remember what had happened over the past two days, Gabriel Agreste opened his eyes.
"Ladybug! Cat Noir!" Officer Roger Raincomprix stepped out of the crowd, closely followed by several other policemen. "What is going on here? The last thing I remember was a swarm of akumas targeting everyone in Paris!"
"Don't worry, Officer Roger," Ladybug said. "My team and I had it all under control."
"Mmmmmmmmmm," Gabriel moaned through his gag.
"Mr. Agreste!" Roger noticed Gabriel, who was bleeding from a scratch in the back of his head. "What happened to him?"
"Gabriel Agreste is Hawk Moth," Ladybug revealed as Roger shone a light into Gabriel's eyes. "He hit the back of his head on a window when I was confiscating his Miraculous."
"Are you sure that Gabriel Agreste is Hawk Moth?" Roger asked as he turned off the flashlight. "I can't arrest him unless you're positive."
"Oh, we're sure," Cat Noir grumbled.
Roger grabbed some cloth bandages that another cop held out for him, then wrapped the bandages tightly around Gabriel's head. "Alright, Ladybug, untie Mr. Agreste and remove the gag. The police will take it from here."
"Are you sure that you won't need any help bringing him in?" Ladybug asked.
"You did confiscate his Miraculous, didn't you? We should be fine," Roger reassured the heroine.
Ladybug glanced at Cat Noir, who shrugged. Then Ladybug kneeled in front of Gabriel and untied the replica yoyo's string from around the villain's arms.
As soon as Ladybug had stepped back, Gabriel elbowed Rena Rogue and Argus, who were still holding him between them. The two heroines loosened their grip, leading to Gabriel pulling himself free. Gabriel then started running, pulling the replica staff from between his teeth and tossing it aside as he sprinted toward the gates.
The crowd outside the gates had thinned considerably since they had been deakumatized, making Gabriel's escape attempt more likely to succeed. Despite this, Gabriel only got a few yards away before his knees buckled, slowing his progress.
The heroes and Officer Roger caught up easily with Gabriel. "Gabriel Agreste, you are under arrest for crimes against humanity," Roger said as he handcuffed the villain.
""Crimes against humanity?"" Gabriel shouted. "I made you all gods. Gods! And you threw it all away."
"Save it for the judge," Officer Roger said as he escorted Gabriel into his police car.
As Roger drove off, the remaining civilians that were gathered at the gates to the Agreste mansion started applauding the heroes. News reporters crossed the threshold with their camera people in a rush to interview the superheroes that defeated Hawk Moth, with Nadja Chamack in front.
"Don't be bemused, it's just the news!" Nadja said into her camera. "I'm here at the Agreste family mansion where, just moments ago, world renowned fashion designer Gabriel Agreste was revealed to be Hawk Moth, the supervillain responsible for akumatizations throughout Paris. Gabriel Agreste has been arrested and is awaiting trial.
"We are live with Ladybug and Cat Noir, who have confiscated Gabriel Agreste's Miraculous with the help of their new superhero allies," Nadja turned toward the heroes. "Who are your new teammates?"
Ladybug leaned into the microphone Nadja held out for her. "Paris already knows about the duo of Ladybug…"
"And Cat Noir!" the black cat hero chimed in.
"But now we are joined by…" Ladybug continued.
"Rena Rouge!" the fox heroine posed with her hands on her hips, chest puffed and head held high.
"Queen Bee!" the bee heroine tossed her ponytail and winked at the camera.
"And Argus!" the peacock heroine grinned proudly.
"Together we are… Team Miraculous!" Ladybug declared.
The crowd cheered for the newly named superhero team and the reporters tried to ask more questions as the heroes took their leave using their Miraculous weapons.
As the heroes leaped over the Agreste mansion, Cat Noir said to Ladybug ""Team Miraculous?" How did you come up with that one?"
Ladybug grinned. "It just came to me."
