The RWBY anime that was NOT made by Rooster Teeth came out, and I wanted to celebrate it.
Story Start!

"Sorry, but since you're dead, you won't need these clothes anymore."

No Chakra.
No Clothes.
No Idea where he was.

His memories were all messed up, but Uzumaki Naruto could tell that nothing around him was the way it was suppose to be. For starters, the last thing he remembered was Sasuke and him finishing their fight, and then there was a gap in his memory. Followed by him realizing he was missing an arm, but the funny thing was that he was NOT missing his arm. His memories were all over the place, and he sort of had memories that he could tell didn't belong to him at all.

For starters, he was not speaking the language of his people, and he could understand the written language that he had encountered.

Not normal.

Naruto was missing his memories from the ages 3-5, and the memories he had from when he was 6 and 8 years old were wrong. Factually wrong, in that they were memories that he had never experience from a life he had never lived. Combined with the fact that his body had no chakra at all, the source of power for his people, and his mixed up and fucked up memories made even less sense than before.

"Blond hair, blue eyes, skin looks normal... and my whisker marks are there. These clothes are so plain... seriously dead guy... black pants and a black vest... and what is this dumb white mask for?" Naruto tossed the mask to the ground. He had gotten dressed in simple clothes, he would need to have something to spice them up later for sure. "Kurama, you in there?" Naruto lifted up his shirt and slapped his belly a few times.

No response.

Now, that was concerning, and that was almost as concerning as the fact there were like 7 dead bodies around him, all wearing the same clothes. Black pants, black vests, and white armor over the vests with a red wolf head with slash marks symbol. Not to mention all of them were wearing masks that covered their eyes. They looked like goons, or grunts at least, for an evil group.

A growl.

"A Grimm... A Grimm?" Naruto questioned himself when he instantly knew what made the sound when he laid eyes on 3 Ursa that were coming out of the woods. They approached with aggression in their body language. Naruto put his hand on his chin in deep thought when the Ursa in the lead charged him. He jumped backwards and dodged a swipe at his head, stumbling a bit as he landed awkwardly.

His body felt wrong.

This body seemed slightly off in proportions, and his weight was being distributed differently than he was used to. Not to mention the lack of chakra, though there was a different energy he could feel he had access to. It was by far not a substitute for chakra, and it didn't flow through him even close to the same way chakra had.

He punched the Ursa in the forehead and crushed it's mask.

"Not only missing chakra, but I'm not as strong." Naruto watched the dead Ursa's corpse vanish within moments after it's death. His blow had still killed the creature, and he dodged two swipes as the other two rushed at him. He went in between them as they turned around to have another go at him, one of them going into a jumping lung. "My balance is way different... feels like I'm not noticing something important." Naruto could deal with being weakened.

Having his balance off was just pure annoyance, because while his attacks could still do lethal damage, every time he dodged he stumbled a little. It was slowing him down and causing a delay in all of his reactions.

He gave an open palmed strike to the Ursa that jumped, hitting it in the center of the torso, knocking it back. He grabbed it's arm before it could touch the ground, and he threw it over his shoulder and tossed it onto the Ursa on his other side. It was knocked to the ground while the Ursa that had been struck started to quickly turn to mist, fading away and stopping the creature of grimm from seeing.

Seeing Naruto kick a sword from the ground.

There was a broken sword on the ground next to a corpse, so Naruto kicked it into the air, and jumped up. He kicked the flying sword, and the broken blade lodged itself right in the Ursa's heart. The thing twitched before going limp, and fading away into dust as well. The broken sword landed on the ground, not a speck of blood on it.

"Reduced strength, not as much speed, no chakra... and my... soul I would guess is producing a different energy. Not to mention my balance is way off..." Naruto didn't even attempt to use his chakra related techniques without chakra, not knowing what would happen. The fact that he could still pretty easily kill those grimm with his current weakness meant that he wasn't weak enough to be too worried about it. He had things that he needed to be much more worried about, like his missing memories, and ther ones that didn't belong to him. "... and I'm hungry." Naruto listed off the final thing.

Also, he was alone, but if he said that out loud, it would inflict a greater wound on him than he could possibly imagine.

There was no greater hell for him than that.

"Lets... civilization is that way." Naruto could smell industry on the wind, the smell of a power plant carried on the wind. If he went against the wind, he would find a place to go for some food. "... and of course this guy was broke... the hell is this thing?" Naruto started to pull stuff out of his pockets. A wallet that belonged to the man he borrowed the clothes from, and a small, condensed item that he had a vague memory of.

The memory belonged to the memories he should not have, so they were slightly fuzzy.

Still, he kept what little money the corpses had on them, since money was needed in any place that had civilization. It was just a natural part of being human, to crave something in return for something else. As great as it would be if everyone helped others out of the goodness of their hearts, the world and the human heart did not work that way.

"Did Kaguya or Toneri... who the hell is Toneri?" Naruto questioned himself, since he spoke the name easily, but his memories of where he knew the name from escaped him. It would seem that he was missing a concerning amount of his memories. "Okay, so I'm missing memories from the past... and my future... just how old am I... better yet, what the hell is going on?" Naruto started walking.

He had so many questions, but he had lived a weird life, so he could adjust to weirdness pretty well. His biggest concern was his missing chakra and memories, and Kurama being gone was another huge issue. The fact he was alive without Kurama meant that either he had somehow survived an extraction.

"Nope."

Or he had reincarnated like Asura, only unlike Asura, he was so much stronger than his reincarnation that he took over completely. Also, unlike Asura who only had his chakra reincarnate, his soul might have joined in on the process. It would explain his missing memories, and the memories he had that did not belong to him.

"Possible."

Another option, he was trapped in a super elaborate Genjutsu right now, one that was just making him believe that he was trapped in a weird world with weird memories. That was another very likely situation that could happen, and it would explain his jumbled up memories.

"Actually... no... Kurama would have broken any Genjutsu placed on me." Naruto denied his third theory as easily as he denied his first theory. "Idea four... I ate something I shouldn't have eaten." Naruto could be in a giant halucination from eating something that he should have avoided, which was possible. While he knew a bunch about plants, sometimes even he could make a mistake. "... Why the hell was I naked?... Seems like I might have been high... might still be high." Naruto hated the thought that he was high, but it was another possibility.

Final option.

He was dreaming.

"OW!"

That was no longer an option, he quickly learned when he tested out his theory by stabbing himself in the forearm with a broken sword, and it hurt.

"Okay, likely theory... I was sent to another world, and my memories got messed up in the process... theory two that could work, I died a long time ago and reincarnated, with my memories taking over my reincarnation... I've got two working theories." Naruto stated as he tied up his bleeding arm, since he stabbed himself pretty deep.

Time to explore this world.
