No more was she apart of the White Fang.
She was Blake Belladonna, a former terrorist, and she was all alone.
By choice.
'Now I just need to get accepted into Beacon, and I can get out of this farm house.' Blake's thoughts were her own, for herself, as she sat inside an abandoned barn. There were grimm outside, but so long as she kept her emotions neutral and not negative, they would not be attracted to her exact location. They were far enough away to not smell her either, so she would bed safe, and if they broke into the barn, she would hear them and wake up.
*CRASH*
A yellow and black blur crashed through the ceiling.
She didn't even get a good look at whatever blurred passed her as it crashed into the floor, and then went through the floor into the barn below where she was sitting. She was startled to her feet, and her hands were already on her weapons. Her blade was unsheathed from her bladed sheath, and she jumped further away from the hole.
'What was that?' Blake though, before she heard the sound of a snap, and black mist drifted right through the hole in the floor.
"OW... that hurt."
"Are you okay?" Blake asked without looking at the man who spoke, since he was not visible, and she kept her guard up. She saw a hand come out of the hole and grab onto the edge, before the young man lifted himself onto the same floor as her.
He was covered in blood.
He had a shard of wood piecing him all the way through his forearm, and he tore it out with a loud grunt of pain. He tore the left leg from his pants right off and started to tie it around his arm, but he grinned right at her while wiping blood off of himself.
"I'm weirdly okay my face okay... can't ruin this handsomeness can I?" Naruto could see she was on edge, and made a joke to calm her down. His smile faded a little when she raised her guard even more at how nonchalant he was. He scratched his chest awkwardly, before he raised his injured arm. "I got attacked by something with wings, and while it was carrying me, I flailed around and broke a wing... we fell." Naruto explained why he was there for her.
She sheathed her sword, and snuck towards the window.
The grimm seemed to have not noticed what happened, or they didn't sense enough negative emotion to care about it at all. So she looked at the man, and she saw his clothes.
"... You're a White Fang member?"
"Huh... what is that?"
"You are wearing part of the White Fang uniform."
"Not my clothes, I got them from a dead guy I found. Yeah, I think they got attacked by some grimm... I'm honestly a bit confused, don't know why I was there... but I was naked, and these are clothes... so I took them." Naruto explained his choice of clothes. Blake put her hand back on her blade subtly. "Like I said, I think I got hit in the head. I'm pretty sure they attacked me, I was knocked out, and the grimm attacked them." Naruto raised his arms in surrender.
He would rather not fight a battle he didn't have to fight, even more so when his body was so wrong to him, and his abilities were wrong.
"Hard to trust a guy who is wearing clothes from a corpse."
"I'm pretty sure you wouldn't trust me even more if I was naked!" Naruto shouted at her, and while she flinched, she could see his point as well.
She would trust him even less if he crashed through the ceiling naked.
"Whatever..."
"Oooooh, neat books... too bad I can't read them." Naruto stated as he grabbed a few books that Blake had. He raised an eyebrow when he looked at the language, kind of recognizing the language, or rather, he was able to completely understand it. He raised an eyebrow, before he opened the book to the first page and started to read it. 'Weird... I shouldn't be able to read this.' Naruto thought, since he wanted to use the written language to compare with his world, or his history, or his language.
"That is a good one." Blake stated as Naruto snapped the book closed.
"Looks like I can read them... sorry, but I mostly read training books and adventure stories... this seems like a crappy romance." Naruto stated as he placed the book onto her small pile. "Honestly, this kind of smut... I could write something 10 times better than this." Naruto could tell exactly what kind of book it was.
Blake's cheeks turned red.
"It isn't smut! Smut is a story based on sex, this is a story where the protagonist has sex, but the story isn't about the sex! It is about the bond between a man and a woman, and when people love each other, sex happens... you didn't even read the book... how did you..." Blake stopped her rant when she realized that he predicted the endings of her books without even reading it. "How did you know the book ended that way?" Blake asked with a raised eyebrow.
Naruto scoffed.
"My Master used to write smut like this, and he made me proofread it for him. I have an entire smutty book series memorized against my will." Naruto spat on the ground at the annoyance of that part of his memories.
Why did that not get forgotten?
Blake raised an eyebrow.
"Where they good books?" Blake could get interested in talking to the apprentice of a master author, since she had yet to meet such a person. He was seeming more interesting to her the more he spoke, since it was about a topic. His lack of knowledge of the White Fang was also refreshing. "Was he a Faunus like you?" Blake asked Naruto.
She was just curious.
"Faunus, what is that?" Naruto gave her a dumbfounded look, since he had never once heard that word, or even something similar to it. It might be in his Wrong Memories somewhere, but he didn't care too look through fake memories for words like that. Blake sent him a strange look that was something between disbelief and worry. "I'm Naruto... I don't know what a Faunus is. Is that some kind of slang?" Naruto questioned her further.
She just stared at him.
She was at a literal loss for words, not having a clue what she should say to explain it. His confusion seemed pretty genuine.
"... Blake... you're joking right?" Blake half didn't even believe her ears. She could hear genuine confusion, but every rational part of her mind told her that nobody should ever ask that question. "A Faunus... you're a faunus... I can literally see you are one. You can't be ignorant of what you are." Blake didn't know what to say.
He seemed so genuine.
"What is a Faunus, and what about me makes me one... it's the whisker marks, right?"
"No... but those are nice... Faunus are likes humans... but they have animal features... did you hit your head and forget what a faunus is?" Blake was concerned for him now.
"Then I can't be a faunus, since I don't-"
Blake grabbed a fox tail and pulled it into his line of sight, and he could physically feel her grab it. He stopped talking and froze, before he looked at her hand, and his entire head moved as he followed the tail back to the source.
His body.
"Ah... no wonder my sense of balance is off. Can I borrow your sword?" Naruto asked Blake as he extended his hand to her.
...
"You can't be serious... No... NO!" Blake pulled back in sheer horror at what his words suggested he would do with her sword. If anything, she let go of his tail and gripped her sword to her chest. She looked at him with frightened eyes. "NO! You are not cutting a part of your body off! You're a faunus, you should be proud... not ashamed!"
Naruto just scratched his chin.
'I'm not ashamed, it's just this thing is throwing off my balance. Anyway, so this makes the reincarnation theory more likely... though it doesn't completely ruin the new world theory... weird things happen when you cross worlds.' Naruto glanced at the moving tail. Now that he was aware of the tail, he moved it around pretty easily.
It wasn't too different than moving Kurama's tails, so if anything he quickly adjusted to it in almost no time at all. His experience with Kurama's tails was no doubt the reason he didn't even notice the tail, because having a tail just didn't raise alarms in his head.
"Do you really want to be human that much... your parents would be-"
Blake was punched in the cheek and knocked onto her ass, and she stared at Naruto as he leaned down and raised his hands in a placating manner.
"Calm down, I'm not going to cut the tail off. You-"
Blake slapped him.
"You punched me."
"Yep... I deserved the slap." Naruto just took the slap and grinned, a red hand print on his face. He punched Blake because she was starting to lose her cool, and needed to cool her head. He might have knocked her on her ass, but he didn't hit her hard enough to do too much damage. She had a toned body, so she seemed like she could take it. Blake looked at Naruto with confused eyes as he stood up and moved his jaw around. "Nice slap by the way, that stung like a swarm of bees." Naruto complimented.
"You're not mad?"
"Nah, I punched you to calm you down, but I still punched you. You calm now, not angry anymore?" Naruto askled her, offering her a hand to stand up. She didn't take his hand, and just stood up by herself.
"You're weird." Blake stated what she saw as obvious.
"So... why did you get so angry... and what IS a faunus?" Naruto asked her slowly, and he spoke calmly.
Blake sighed.
"I have never known a Faunus who didn't know they were a Faunus... have you never once been discriminated by humans. I... don't even know how to answer that question."
"Ah... I mean... I have been discriminated against. You see... everyone absolutely hated me, from the moment I was born. I was called things like that boy and demon... just never faunus. There, makes sense now... no wonder I didn't know I was a faunus." Naruto told a half truth to Blake, and he saw a light of acceptance in her eyes. There were a few tears that gathered at the corners of her eyes as well as she was overwhelmed by emotion, no doubt sadness. "Eventually though, I gained their respect. I worked hard and got them to recognize me as Naruto. So don't feel bad." Naruto comforted Blake.
He comforted her about his shitty childhood.
"... How... how did you turn their hate against you into acceptance?"
Naruto grinned.
"I smiled, worked hard, and proved I wasn't a demon. People are more willing to admit their wrong about you, when you don't give them any reasons to hate you more. Now can I borrow your sword?" Naruto asked her again. "... I promise I won't cut my tail off." Naruto promised her with a raised hand.
She slowly handed him her sword.
He cut his ripped pants and turned them into shorts, making the legs the same length, so that he wasn't wearing completely uneven pants. She watched him as he finished that, and he gave her the sword back.
"Well, see you later."
"Uh... yeah... see you I guess." Blake didn't know how to respond to that.
He gave her a lot to think about.
As he jumped out the window.
