Story Start!
It was the action that crossed the line.
One week.
Weiss Schnee spent one week making all of her preparations to get her revenge against her father for his slight against her. She had been denied access to Beacon, and had been forced to take the action of going to the lesser Atlas Academy. Beacon was the better school, better funded, better everything where it came to success. It had the better reputation, and it would give her far more chances to succeed on her own without the need to use the Schnee family name.
Her father sent an assassin after her to ruin her life.
All because she refused to stay under his thumb and follow the life plan that she set out for him.
"Weiss... that is my seat."
Jacques Schnee stated as he entered his office and saw his daughter sitting in his seat, and he looked at the office and saw it had been completely emptied out. There was nothing that belonged to him in the office, though he didn't comment on it.
"You're fired."
"Excuse me daughter."
"60% shareholder, Weiss Schnee, and I'm telling you you're fired. You're no longer the CEO of the company, since I now have a controlling stake in the company. This office belongs to the next CEO that I will appoint." Weiss laid out the facts to him with a hateful glare to her eyes. The fresh scar that she had gotten over her eye was visible.
The scar that HIS test gave to her.
"You possess no shares."
"It isn't hard to convince the shareholders to sign their shares over to be... so I did. You don't need to know anything else." Weiss had zero of the shares a week ago, but when he crossed the line with her, then she had decided that enough was enough.
She had Klein take her to the homes of the Board of Directors, and she visited all of the share holders in the company.
She showed them pictures.
She showed them the pictures of what had happened to the people who had been attacked by the White Fang, and let them know that as long as they possessed a stake in the company, that they would lose their lives to the faunus group. It was easy to intimidate some rich snobs into giving up their shares, since only an idiot valued money over their life and family. She used the White Fang as a weapon, her weapon, to force all shares not owned by her father and mother into her own possession.
*SMACK*
"You dare... you dare to steal this company away from me DAUGHTER!" Jacques roared at her, with his hand extended. He had taken a striding step towards her, and slapped her across the face.
Weiss touched her cheek.
She was numb and filled with hate.
"Get out, I'll be appointing a new CEO. You've been fired." Weiss held a hand to her cheek and stood up. She watched him step back in surprise when she didn't give much reaction to being slapped.
She was too angry to feel it.
"I still hold over 30% of the shares, you can't fire me so easily."
"I hold 60% of the shares, and mother holds 10% of them. You're not the CEO or company owner anymore... I am the owner... and you've been cut off from the Schnee bank account. You have 30% of the shares and no money..." Weiss informed him with a slow smile growing on her face.
His eyes widened.
"I... I have no money... absurd, I grew this company from a-"
"You're poor as dirt now, with no access to anything but your worthless 30%... of course, you can make some money back by selling your shares." Weiss gave him his one option to money. She cut him off from the family money, and even if he was a shareholder, it wasn't like shares made him any money unless he sold them. "Of course, I could make sure to crash this company into the ground and make your shares worthless... you'll be broke AND your shares worthless. Sister has her own money, and I'm going to Atlas Academy, I'm going to be a Huntress and make my own money."
She saw his will breaking in his eyes.
She hit him where it hurt.
She knew her father, and how he only loved money. He hated humans, faunus, and everyone who was lower than him in status. All he loved is money, and he only cared for anything that could ensure his money would grow. His children were just a path to more money, children who could grow the company or make the company look good. She had no proof he hired the assassin, but she knew it in her heart that he did it.
Her heart told her it was his fault.
"Weiss... I'm your father."
"You're right, you are my father, and unlike you I'm not heartless. That is why I am willing to buy your shares... you'll be wealthy enough to leave my sight forever. Sell your shares and have enough money to start your own company, or keep your shares and watch as I crash this company into the ground by hiring somebody incompetent as CEO." Weiss watched the fear in his eyes grow.
He had tried to soften her up by playing as her father, but she relished watching hims squirm under his power.
"Weiss... my baby girl."
"I know, I'll hire somebody from Menagerie to be CEO! I'll let a filthy faunus run the company you worked so hard for into the ground!" Weiss laughed at her father when she saw him drop to his knees. She couldn't hide it anymore.
Her entire life had been leading up to this.
Her father had no more power over her, but instead SHE had all the power. She clenched her fists and pounded them against his former desk.
"Hahahahaha!"
"Look at you! You're so pathetic, I took everything away from you! I took it all away, and this is how you react. You're on your hands and knees, pleading... you're not a Schnee. Wait, you're not the CEO anymore... mother has no reason to stay with you. You won't even be a Schnee anymore!" Weiss had never felt so great in her life.
Klein behind her looked at her sadly.
'She wasn't ready... I had hoped that if she went to Beacon, and made some friends, she would mature enough. My little girl, this evil your father grew inside of you... I'm sorry, I wasn't able to give you the strength to overcome it.' Klein watched her ruin a man's life with glee in her eyes.
She was truly loving his suffering.
He believed that Jacques deserved this suffering, but the fact that Weiss was the one inflicting it, and was enjoying it from the bottom of his heart just hurt him. She was learning the joy that came with inflicting misery on those who had wronged her, but she lacked the maturity to know when enough was enough.
"But... if she divorces me... then I'll lose money from selling shares, and if i don't... she'll take my Schnee company shares... I'll be left broke... penniless." Jacques started to run his hands through his hair wildly as he tried to think of anything that he could do. His reputation was bad, nobody would allow him to marry into money. He would never be able to start anything with his good name, because he didn't have a good name.
He only had enemies left.
Weiss watched him stand up and walk slowly towards the window, and she took a step to follow him. She grabbed his sleeve by instinct when he opened the window.
'Good... forgive him. He's broken enough.' Klein thought.
Weiss watched her father with various emotions fleeting across her face.
She let go of his sleeve when hatred came back to her eyes when she remembered who the man she had a hold of was. She watched him with growing rage on her face. She allowed him to step out of the window. Weiss watched him vanish over the edge of the window, and he was out of her sight.
"He did it... he jumped... he would rather die, then be broke and all alone... I broke him. The man who made me suffer so much... and I destroyed him..." Weiss looked stunned when it hit her that her father would be dead very soon.
As soon as he hit the ground.
"Weiss... if you need to cry... I'm here..."
"... The White Fang... the Assassin my father sent... the enemies of the Schnee family. If I could..." Weiss wiped the tears from her eyes. She stopped from as her eyes turned colder, looking at the wet spots on her sleeves where she wiped the tears. "... I don't have the time or need to cry. I've still got enemies left. The Faunus who hate the Schnee family... those who want to hurt me... I'm going to crush all of them." Weiss turned her eyes to ice as she sat down in the CEO chair.
It fit her.
"... I understand... but I'll be here if you need me." Klein spoke dutifully, despite having watched a man kill himself. His sad eyes only stayed on Weiss, and her stone cold eyes, as she stopped her tears.
"Assassin... unlike my father who killed himself... you will die by my sword."
