Thea and Roy had just landed at a small airport in Maine that was near the ocean side town that they would be going to in hopes of finding Aquaman. They had no idea what they would be looking for so they knew that they would have to keep their eyes open and expect the unexpected. This man that they were looking for could probably hide in plain sight if he wanted to.
Once they had rented a car, they headed for the seaside town and thought it was a good idea to check out the bar first. It was after all 8:00 at night here, so it was time for people to be in the bar. When they walked into the bar, it was full. Everyone seemed to be crowding around this one man. This made the heroes look at the man closer and they figured that this could be the Aquaman. They knew that they would have to do more servellince to make sure, but this was a small town in Maine, so there couldn't be too many celebrities around this place.
They went to the bar and ordered their drinks and tried to fit in for the rest of the night, until they saw their target get up and start to head out. Roy and Thea thought that they should follow the man and see what he did next. They thought that all of their questions might be answered if they followed the man.
When they got outside, they had lost sight of the man. It was like he had just disappeared. They both walked around the corner and started to go to the back of the building when all of a sudden a large, what could only be described as a wave came out of nowhere and hit them. The next thing they knew, their target was standing over them with his trident pointed towards them.
"Why are you two following me? You have been watching me all night." the man said.
"We are here looking for the Aquaman. We are part of a superhero team out of Star City. We need his help to fight the Crisis that is coming for us all. If we don't stop it, it will end this world and every other world in the multiverse." Thea said.
"Why would I believe you? Neither one of you look like you are cut out to be heroes." the man said.
"We are heroes. If we could go somewhere private, we would be happy to show you our suits, if that would be enough for you." Roy said.
"I am willing to give you two a chance since you seem like nice kids. Meet me down at the docks in fifteen minutes. Come in your suits and maybe I will believe you then." the man said.
"So, I am assuming that we were right and you are the Aquaman?" Thea asked.
"You would be correct, and it is just Aquaman. If I believe you after this, I will tell you my real name." Aquaman said and the two heroes nodded as they went up to their car and started to put their suits on quickly, and then they made their way down to the docks.

Fifteen minutes later, Roy and Thea were walking down toward the docks in their suits trying to figure out why they would meet here. It didn't take long for them to find out since what looked like a gang came out of nowhere and decided to attack the two heroes.
Roy and Thea started to defend themselves and were handling things rather well since it was just two of them against eight of the other guys. Once they each took down their last guy, they looked up on top of one of the nearby boats and saw Aquaman looking down at them with a smile on his face.
"You have proven yourself to me. So, what was this Crisis that you were talking about earlier?" Aquaman asked.
"It is a Crisis that will wipe out the whole multiverse if it is not stopped. This being known as the monitor came to our team and told us to assemble all of the heroes of this Earth and be ready for a fight. He said that we will have six months or maybe a little less." Thea said and Aquaman nodded.
"My people have heard of a prophecy that sounds somewhat like what you were saying just now. All I know is that if it is the same thing that we are both talking about, then we need to take this very seriously." Aquaman said.
"What do you mean when you said your people?" Roy asked.
"So, you did pick up on that. I am a child of two different bloodlines. I am a child of a human and of an Atlantian. I am actually the King of Atlantis." Aquaman said.
"Atlantis still exists? That is interesting. Where is it then?" Thea asked with a skeptical look.
"It is out there, under the sea. We don't have time for a sightseeing tour right now. Once this crisis is over, I will be happy to take you two and any of your friends down there. For now, we need to get ready for this Crisis and everything that comes with it." Aquaman said.
"Sounds good to us. So, you said you would tell us your name if you saw that you could trust us. We will give you ours if you give us yours." Roy said.
"You are right. I did say that. My name is Arthur Curry." Author said.
"My name is Thea Queen and this is Roy Harper. Our hero names are Athena and Arsenal." Thea said.
"It is nice to meet you two. I am going to head back down to Atlantis and let them know what is going on. My people and I will join you in this fight. You two have a good night now." Authur said as he dove into the water so that he could return home and inform his people of what was coming.
"Well, that was interesting. What do you say to going and finding a hotel for the night and then we can head home tomorrow." Roy said and Thea nodded as they made their way to the rental car and drove off to find the nearest hotel so that they could get some rest.
