With a few more jabs and one final insult thrown, Leobreaker returned to his normal size and then he and Scourge returned to where Optimus and the other Autobots had gathered. The pair arrived just in time to hear from Optimus that he, Jetfire, and Vector Prime were headed to speed planet to help Red Alert and Hotshot win the planet cup which was likely the Cyber Planet key. "What do you wish us to do?" Leobreaker asked.
"You, Scourge, and Snarl will remain here at the base in case we need back up. Lancex will stay as well, same with the kids" Optimus replied. Coby, Bud, and Lori were not happy about it but it had been decided and so, for now they accepted it. "Scattershot will be here as well."
"Before you leave, what is it that allows you bots to change your size to that of the humans?" Scourge asked, he and snarl both curious about it.
"Oh, that is this piece of technology Coby and I made together" Scattershot replied, and handed the strange yet small piece of technology to Snarl and Scourge.
"Anything we should know?" Snarl asked.
"To activate it you say "change mode" and repeat to return to normal size. Also, when you are in your human size mode, you are more vulnerable. I know we bots become smaller robots, but I am not a hundred percent sure what it might do to bots who have animal alt forms" Scattershot admitted. Leobreaker listened as well, for while he still had his, he definitely felt different this time changing into his human size mode, like he wasn't quite as strong but it didn't make sense just yet so he said nothing.
"If there is nothing further, we must leave" Optimus stated and Scourge nodded and allowed the bots to leave, as it was important for them to go.
After the team left, Scattershot placed the technology into Scourge and Snarl, both of whom didn't feel any different for now. They asked about sleeping quarters, and scattershot pointed them in the right direction. It was a good thing that they had asked about the technology as all the rooms were human sized. They called out the cry and soon, they were small. They felt a bit odd, but were not sure about saying anything. Leobreaker headed to his room, glaring at the dragon bot. Scourge headed to a nearby room as did Scourge. Little did the three animal bots realize that in their human sized mode, they were techno-organics and not fully bots. But they would learn that in due time, and it would make things much easier for Scourge and Leobreaker.
Scourge, upon reaching his room, found the bed supportive and soft. He was tired and soon crashed. He had no idea about the dream he would soon have, and oh what a dream it would be, for him.
