So...I really don't like the 'Character gets memory wiped of the entire adventure' I feel it's one of the meanest tricks a story can play it's why I don't like the ending of Cordwainer Smith's The Dead Lady of Clown Town and since my Humanimal Universe is inspired by Smith's work in my interpritation this tendancy to wipe inconvienant memories is the eviliest trick the Wrangler Empire has, thus it is emphisized Wranglers who break out of the conditioning say they would rather die than have their memories erased and conditioned back into being Wranglers, for if there is an afterlife if you die you at least die as your true self hopefully to be reunited with your loved ones, but if your personality gets rewritten than who knows what will happen when you upon your death, to many it's a death worse than death because the old personality is potentially annihilated at replaced with a complete stranger but hopefully soon I'll write a story where Don and Arctica are reunited and the memories will come flooding back...But after so much time the reuniting will be much more complicated

A Ninja is many things...Slow is not one of them, even if they are Turtles...They followed Don's trail noticing after a time his footprints were joined with the paw prints of a wolf showing his companion had gained enough strengh to walk beside him instead of being carried by him so the Turtles and Splinter diligently followed being sure to erase the trail behind them as they went.

When they got to the road, it took them a few minutes, as they figured Don and his companion probobly jumped on a truck but where would they be now? Splinter had to take a few a moments to meditate to find the answer then it came to him, They would find Donatello at the peek of the nearest mountain.

At that point they asked April and Casey if they could pick them up cuz at that point they didn't feel like walking the rest of the way.

And as they serched for Don the remaining lingerings of the silvery sweet smelling mist was beginning to work its magic on the rest of them, creating cloudiness in their minds, only Splinter and to a certain extent Leonardo were beginning to suspect something was up with this strange fog and something was happening with their minds.

"Master Splinter..." Leo said as he waivered as clutched his head "...What's going on? It's...It's getting so hard to think!"

Splinter alone was able to get an inkling of what this meant "Breathe My Son..." Splinter said soothingly "...Do not panic...Try to keep your thoughts simple, think only of Donatello.

And they found him in the the most Un-Don like way...Sleeping in the grass a most blissful expression on his face.

"Don!" Mikey exclaimed rushing toward his brother.

"Hey!" Raph said gruffly kneeling and began shaking his Purple Banded Brother "Wake up Shell-For-Brains! You've had us worried sick for days!"

"Huh?" Don sputtered as his eyes snapped open "What?" And then he yawned deeply befuddling everyone, they had been under the assumption Don was in danger but they had never seen him so relaxed

"Don..." Leo said trying to keep calm "..Where the shell have you been?"

Don rubbed from the sleep from his eyes and realized he was struggling to answer that question himself...Then he thought back to Mikey opening the door and causing his Psionic Helmet to flizzle out before it could be tested.

"I'm sorry..." Don said quietly "...Mikey I'm sorry to you in particular...I...Wanted to recreate Professor Honeycutt's Psionic Helmet so much...Now I realize I should be thanking you...I had a realization that this world isn't yet ready for psychic powers, and...I needed some time alone, to think about what horrors I might have unleashed on the world if I had succeeded..." That was the story that had been planted in his mind by the Fey-Bear.

And everyone else for there part...Had already had their knowladge of the Wolf erased from their minds, only Splinter was aware of the memories being taken from his mind by the magic...But he immediately knew what that meant...The spirits were erasing their memories to protect them from danger...Splinter sighed with resignation as he let the spirits have their way he will let this go for now.

"My Sons..." Splinter said "...We've all had a long couple of days I suggest it is time we all went home...And Donatello...Seems like you've had a particularlly hard lesson to learn, I hope you will now begin to internalize a lesson I have long tried to teach that there are limits to the science you idolize and there are things that Men and Mutants should not meddle with..."

Don in spite of the memories that had been taken from him, still had...Lingering feelings in his body, feeling caused by emotions he had experienced over the course of his journey.

"Yes Sesnei..." Don said "...I think I'm finally beginning to understand that lesson."

So all's well that ends well for now...I do feel it being the Fey-Bear doing to memory erasing and at least being polite and nice about it made all the difference, there has been an idea floating in my head for a while, the idea of a certain kind of character I have dubbed 'The Big Meanie' it is often a villain/antagonist but The Ninja Tribunal are examples that are objectively good really the Big Meanie is an audience reaction to a Character that just feels like a Schoolyard Bully unlike a Good Disney or Batman villain they have no charisma or charm (And I realize that their problem is twofold the Big Meanie doesn't have good lines of mouth music dialogue from the writer and the actor doesn't give a charismatic performance, 2003 Shredder also comes off as Big Meanie compared to other Shredders and even other villains of the 2003 show like Stockman)
