Chapter 5 The duel

After the Wave Satsuki made a party with everyone invited which included the nobles, she was sitting at a table and she said:"For the victory we managed enjoy your meal."
She sits with her elite four and she sees Naofumi having lunch with Raphtalia, she then looks around and sees Itsuki with his group at a table and he has a frown.
"Looks like the little bow hero doesn't like being rejected."Nonon smirks.
"Ha, the guy thought he was getting a new weapon like some game."Uzu said.
"He would have to impress lady Satsuki."Inumuta said.
"Yes, only those that are worthy may get rewarded."Gamagori said.
"Also I heard a certain someone hasn't got her tongue cut out yet."Satsuki said.
"It seems she's begging you to give her a different punishment."Gamagori said."But all that is doing is delaying the punishment with the knights not doing they're job!"He glares a group making them scared.
Nonon sees Motoyasu going up to Naofumi."What's he doing?"
"Naofumi." Motoyasu called as the aforementioned person turned towards him. "Let's fight."
"I've heard you made poor Raphtalia your slave."Motoyasu told him."And you made her obey your every command."
"What is he talking about?"Inumuta said.
"Raphtalia is not a slave."Uzu said.
They should know since they didn't find any slave mark on her.
"And what do you care?"Naofumi said.
"Watch your tone."Motoyasu retorted.
"I don't know who told you that, but Raphtalia is not my slave."Naofumi said.
"Lies! I heard about how you captured her and branded her like a slave!"Motoyasu points his spear at him.
"Let's do this." Motoyasu told him."If I win, you'll set Raphtalia free!"
"And if I win?" Naofumi asked.
"Then it won't happen."Motoyasu said."And if it does happen, it will stay the same."
Naofumi just looks at him and said:"Theres nothing to gain."
"What is going on?"They saw Satsuki behind them.
"Satsuki, good Naofumi put Raphtalia as his slave."Motoyasu said.
"Who told you that?"She asked.
"What, well Myne said-"He was cut off.
"Bring the princess here!"She ordered.
Uzu went out and after some time he comes back with Malty in chains and her clothes looking ragged.
She was thrown to the ground and looks up to see Satsuki glaring at her scaring Malty
"So you told the Spear Hero that Naofumi has Raphtalia as a slave."Satsuki said.
"Please I was just trying to look after her."But Malty got her head stepped on making her scream.
"Satsuki!"Motoyasu was shocked.
"So you lie again, I for a fact know that Raphtalia isn't a slave, I check all demi humans in this city for that brand."Satsuki said.
"But Satsuki, why would she lie?"Motoyasu said.
"To make you fight against Naofumi, so you better listen."She looks at him making Motoyasu flinch before looking at Malty."You are delaying your punishment using your little lies to keep your tongue from getting cut off, so I would suggest you keep your mouth shut, then maybe I might consider you keeping it."She smirks.
Malty was shaking in fear.
"Now."She looks at Motoyasu again."If you wish to fight Naofumi then he must gain something in return."
"I did state it."Motoyasu said.
"That is not a prize, do not try to convince me."She said."If Naofumi wins then he will get half of your reward."
"What?!"He got shocked.
"Is that or nothing."She smirks.
"She put Motoyasu in a tight corner."Itsuki said.
"Well... Fine, he won't win."He said.
"Then I shall add a extra condition, since Naofumi is unable to fight on his own he shall get a helper, Nonon."Satsuki looks at her.
She smiles and goes foward."Of course Lady Satsuki."
"So she will be helping me?"Naofumi said.
"Of course, you can't do much damage so this evens it out."Satsuki said.
Later at the arena Satsuki was sitting on the throne with the rest of the Elite Four at her side, Motoyasu was facing off against Naofumi and Nonon, Raphtalia was behind Naofumi and Malty was behind Motoyasu.
"Sir Motoyasu! Best of luck!" The redhead girl cheered for the aforementioned Hero.
"Will do, Myne!" Motoyasu said and he looks at Naofumi."Remember the folktale about the Irresistible Spear and the Immovable Shield?"Motoyasu twirled his spear around for bit before stopping."Naofumi! Be a man and admit defeat!"
"Oh please, your just delaying the defeat."Nonon said.
"Nonon I promise I won't hurt."He smiles.
"Oh, well I will."Her uniform glows, then she changes."Symphony Regalia Mk 2."She flies up and grins.
"Wait, that's how your form works?"Motoyasu got surprised since he didn't pay attention to her transformation since a blinding light and he was paying attention to Satsuki and Malty.
"Yes now take this."She blasts him away.
He then jumps away from her attacks and she flies up.
Motoyasu proceeded to charge towards Naofumi with his spear before he jumped and thrust his spear towards his opponent, who blocked the strike, the Spear Hero decided to strike again and again, but all of his attacks are blocked.
"Not too bad, guess the Shield Hero has a few moves."Motoyasu said.
"You got that right." Naofumi replied, still blocking Motoyasu's spear with his shield. "So in this folktale battle between a spear and a shield... Did you know that the spear actually lost when it couldn't pierce the shield?"He pushed the Spear Hero back, but Motoyasu jumped backwards.
His spear glowed as he aimed it towards Naofumi.
"Chaos Spear!" Motoyasu said as he thrust forward, causing several small projectile launched from it.
But then his attack got canceled out by Nonon's blasts and she comes back."Nice try, but your way too weak."
"Wait, what is your level?"Motoyasu asked.
"Take a guess."She smirks.
Itsuki looks and got shocked:"What?! She's level 45!"
"The Elite Four are around the same strenght, did you think I would allow them to be weak."Satsuki said with a smirk.
Motoyasu then got blasted away by Nonon as Naofumi throws many Balloons and traps him."Shield Prison!"He was then getting bitten alive.
Nonon laughs and said:"Look at the little spear hero."
He then comes out tired and said:"I won't lose!"He then charges at Naofumi.
He goes to defend before he got blasted in the back by Maltym before Motoyasu could strike him Satsuki appears and kicks him away.
"What, that's cheating!"Malty said.
"I don't think so."Satsuki said."Gamagori!"
"Of course."He takes out a whip and drags Malty to the arena.
"What's going?!"Motoyasu said.
"She has cheated in this match and doing so made you lose."Satsuki said surprising him.
"No please, I was trying to make it fair."She said but she got whipped many times.
"Don't you dare lie!"Gamagori said."You have disgraced this match!"
"Yes, you have cheated and in doing so made Naofumi win, theres is no hidding, I am not your father, so you better choose your actions since soon you might have that tongue cut out."Satsuki said making her scared again.
"Thanks Satsuki."Naofumi said.
"She has disgraced this match, I couldn't allow it to go on."Satsuki said.
Raphtalia goes towards Motoyasu and slaps him surprising everyone."How dare you, I never asked for your help."
"But wasn't he abusing you?"Motoyasu said.
"No, master Naofumi never did, Naofumi has never put a slave marking on me, I have been helping him after he saved my life! He even shown me how to fight."She said.
"But you shouldn't be forced to fight."Motoyasu said.
"I chose to help him, you only care about fame and glory, lady Satsuki and Naofumi are true heroes, she has freed the slaves and made life for us Demi humans better, if you cared about slaves than you would have had some with you."She said.
Satsuki got surprised at her words and looks away.
Naofumi smiles since Raphtalia does look up to Satsuki for what she did.
"The match has been set, the winner is Naofumi."Satsuki said.
They then left Motoyasu there who was still stunned while dragging Malty back to the dungeon.
Next day
Queen Mirellia was in a carriage heading towards the city with Melty at her side.
"Mother is it really true our kingdom is not ours anymore?"Melty asked.
"Yes, I just hope we can convince the sword hero."She said.
They then came out and they got surprised when they saw the entrance, hanging off of it was Rabier with a sign on him.
"This is a naked pig that was punished."Mirellia read it.
They then saw Demi humans walking around with smiles without any slave brands making them surprised since they knew the King wouldn't allow this.
"Has the Sword Hero really changed the city for the better?"The Queen said.
Note:Here's the duel between Motoyasu and Naofumi only this time he got extra help against the Spear Hero with Nonon helping him, Malty's cheating got her more punished and Satsuki is not doing the cutting off the tongue right away because she just wants to scare her even more, making her think as she sleeps at night when it will happen.
