Keiji faces Corrin's ire after offering to lead a small Hoshidan vanguard to the Ice Tribe Village.

Reconciliation

Corrin shoves open her bedroom door with a single strong hand and thunders past you.

You remain at the door (as politeness dictates) and await an invitation.

You're rewarded a powerful draconian growl for your manners. "Don't just stand there! Come in," your mistress demands.

You do as you're told, entering the bedroom. The sight of a high ceiling lined with lanterns confronts you. A large double bed with velvet sheets sits beside the door with a set of Hoshidan oak draws sitting off to the side. The scent of perfume greets you, so strong it catches the back your throat.

The room's tension is thick, so thick that you could cut it with a blade. Any relief you feel from your surroundings quickly dissolves.

You have to say something, anything to stop Corrin staring at you as if you've stabbed her through the heart. "Milady-"

Corrin raises her hand. "Not a word," she cuts you off and closes the door behind you. "You have no idea what you've done, do you?"

"I acted in your best interests," you offer.

"The only interests you've acted in are your own."

"That's not true. Nor is it fair."

"Fairness doesn't matter! You can't begin to imagine how sadistic Camilla can be, or what she'll do to you if you fail."

"I won't fail," you assure the princess. "Not while there is still so much for us to do."

"And I'd rather not take such a risk," Corrin says quietly, tears welling in her eyes. "Camilla will kill you if she gets the chance... and I can't lose you! I just can't!" Her petite shoulders tense under the weight of her emotions, she reaches upward with quivering fingers to touch your face. "Not when I've already lost one side of my family..."

An aura of purest white light emanates from Corrin's body, and an immense flash bursting across the room. Its blinding intensity sends you reeling, your heartbeat pounding within your skull as you hit the wooden floor. For several moments, you clutch your head in a desperate attempt to stop your ears from ringing. Blinking for several moments, you clear your vision. Slowly and painstakingly, you sit upright.

Corrin stands before you as a dragon on four slim legs, her tail swishing from side to side. Suspended in mid-air beside her, is her dragonstone. The magical artefact pulsates with rainbow coloured light as though matching her heartbeat.

You rise to your feet - awestruck by the sight before you.

"It's because of Felicia you're doing this, isn't it?" asks Corrin, her voice small and pained. "Because you care for her, because you care for us both." She shows her fangs and growls again: this time forebodingly. "I'd like the truth, Keiji."

It seems your mistress knows the truth. You lower onto hand and knee in respectful address. There is no sense in lying.

"It's true, milady. I love you both, dearly," you admit, your throat pulling tight as your sentiments swirl. "Since Hana I've... struggled with my affections - with commitment. I'll not excuse it however. Caring for both you and Felicia is dreadfully selfish." You lift your head, tears misting your eyes.

Coming closer on her hooves, Corrin lowers her head nearer your face. "...Thank you, for being honest. It was all I really wanted."

You'll face your judgement here, as a man should. "If this means an end to our romance then I accept it whole-heartedly."

The dragoness rubs her head against the side of your cheek. "It doesn't. I treasure you, Keiji, just as much as Felicia does. And though doing so makes me selfish, I don't want to let you go. And yet," the princess sighs. "...I cannot deny Felicia of your love, either. Therefore... I don't know what to do."

Corrin brings a finger over your lips. A moment later, she retracts it, and presses her lips against yours in a powerful kiss. Her arms snake your shoulders, the girl pushing her chest to yours with heat and vigor. You wraps yours around her middle in return. Joined as one, the two of you revel in warmth and love.

There is silence when you part.

Until Corrin lets out a heavy sigh.

"I-I told Felicia how I feel, you know," the princess admits, her head nestled against your chest. "The night before Camilla's attack; before she lost her eye."

"What did she say?" you ask, running your fingers through your beloved's silky white locks.

"She said she'd fight for your affections, Keiji, even though I'm her friend. So..." Corrin pauses, staring into you. Her silver eyes overflow feeling - with intensity. Then, she wraps her legs around your middle to hold you in place. "I have to know why you're really doing all of this. I'm not letting go until you do."

The answer is clear. It's always been clear. You touch your hand against Corrin's cheek and caress her soft tear-dampened skin with caring fingertips. "These Nohrians cause naught but pain," you tell her earnestly. "Especially their lords and generals. They've hurt you, and Felicia... Hana too. And so, even if you hate me for it, I'm going to face Camilla. Her retainer, also. I won't let Felicia's sacrifice be in vain. I'll win. I'll cut down the both of them."

Corrin's breaths hitch nervously and she relinquishes her hold upon you. "You don't know what you're up against, Keiji," she warns. "You won't defeat my sister in battle without great skill and fortune. She's deadly in battle; sadistic."

You won't fail to protect those you love again. You won't disgrace yourself any longer. "Then forgive me, but I have to try."

The princess sweeps in and locks your lips with hers, shaking like a leaf in a storm. You feel all that she is coursing through you. Her fear and love. Her compassion. Keeping you as her own, she is all but lost in the heat of the moment. When she parts from you, her cheeks burn a deep red. "In that case," Corrin whispers, her fingers pressing into your back "Will you stay with me tonight? Here, in my room?"

You can't bring yourself to say a word in refusal. You nod you head. "I will, and gladly."

Corrin gets to her feet, helping you upright. She leads you hand-n-hand to her bed. She sits you down, and then sits in your lap.

You kiss her. Once. Twice. A third time. With heat and vigor.

Panting for breath, your lover cups your cheek. For a time she is quiet.

"Even if your heart is clouded, Keiji - even if you're falling apart inside - I want you to know that I'll always care for you," Corrin confesses after a time, her eyes alight with warmth and adoration. "Meeting you made me see things in a different light. I'm not just a princess. I can be who I want to be. Just Corrin. A woman with a dream." Leaning close, she kisses your forehead gently. "Thank you, my dearest love."

Her loving nature disarms you, leaving you free to open your heart without fear - to say the all-important things that you couldn't before. Or at least, you want to. For now, you simply find it in your heart to smile. Honestly, and with sincerity. "It's my pleasure. Anything to see you smile."

And with that, Corrin pushes you down to the mattress. Using her dragon's strength, she then pins you by the wrists. Climbing atop of you with pinked cheeks and lust-drunk eyes, she sinks her fangs into your neck.

Overwhelmed by her sudden offensive, you throw back your head with a powerful groan.

Inching back and giggling naughtily, the princess cups your cheeks. "Tonight? You're mine, Keiji of Izami. By royal decree," she announces. Her hands slide over the buttons of her overshirt. Popping them loose, she reveals her ample chest for your sinful enjoyment. "Touch me. Your princess demands it." Command given, she releases one of your hands so you might do her bidding.

"As you command, my mistress," you answer heatedly, cupping a palm to her breast.

Sighing blissfully, Corrin throws back her head and closer her eyes. Ever the dutiful retainer, you kneed her perfectly soft flesh.

Tonight you will do all she asks. And more.

O-Oh Gods. K-Keiji," Corrin shudders approvingly - breathless. Her nails digging into your shoulders, she throws back her head of wavy white locks with an approving whine.

At the waistband of her skin-tight black leggings is where you pause your kisses. Meeting eyes with those of your mistress, you seek approval. "Are you okay with this, milady?"

Corrin sighs delightedly. "Yes," she consents with a wink "But if you don't mind..." The princess pauses, her cheeks flushing. "I'd like to try something - something I've always wondered about. Hold still, won't you, my love?"

"Of course," you nod, content with the lady's request. "Though you have me curious."

"Oh, you'll see," Corrin giggles. But promise you won't judge me..."

You'd never do such a thing. "You have my word."

"Good. Good." Corrin breathes a sigh of relief. The princess makes use of her amazing strength to push you against the sheets. She holds you in place, slinking atop of you as though a snake. Nearer and nearer she comes until the warmth of her breath tickles you - comforts you.

"Now... Let's see if this works," Whispers Corrin. Gentle magical energies resonate from the princess body. Then, Prisms of rainbow-hued light erupt from her back. She winces slightly, her clothes tearing. Emerging her lower back, her dragon's tail comes into plain view.

"Ahhh, much better," Corrin exhales, relieved. "Do you like it?" she asks teasingly.

"As it so happens, I do," you answer, quietly surprised by her boldness.

"I'm glad, because there is something I've always wondered." The noble lassie's expression becomes nervous all of the sudden. "Are you afraid of my dragon form, Keiji? It's always been a worry of mine, my being different to the rest of you."

You shake your head, cupping Corrin's cheek. "Not scared, no," you reassure her. "I'm amazed by it. If anything, it holds me in awe when you transform."

The princess sighs deeply, gone; her smile is much wider now. "Then I've nothing to fear..." Her eyes glimmer with heat. With desire. With longing. "Stay with me, until morning." she pleads, her grip upon your hands tightening.

Before things go any further, you have a single important question. "But what of Felicia?"

"If am selfish for loving you despite Felicia's feelings, so be it." Corrin hides her face against your chest. "I love her as a sister," she admits shyly. "And I am not against sharing you with her for a time... if that is what it takes."

An answer you hadn't expected, your eyes widening. "You'll share me?"

Corrin lifts her head, pouting. "Yes, I'll share you. But only for a short time - until you do the right thing and decide. Understood?"

Your face washes with heat. You're lost for words.

"You're cute when you blush," Corrin teases, sticking out her tongue at you.

You're seeing a whole new side to your mistress this afternoon. "And here I held you up as a paragon of virtue..."

"Before I'm a princess, I'm a woman, Keiji. And as a woman, I have needs. Urges," Corrin purrs, kissing your cheek. "Urges I want you to satisfy." Her tail pulsates with magical energy. Bulging in thickness, it rips away her leggings; her undergarments - everything.

"But you are a princess, when all is said and done," you remind your mistress. "And we're unmarried. What happens if there are... consequences?"

Corrin slams her lips against yours in heated reply, putting her entire soul the moment - treasuring it. When she relents in her fierce conquest, there's fire burning in her eyes like you've never seen before. Absolute surety. "I'll fight anybody who objects to a child born of our love," she declares powerfully. "You're special to me, Keiji, and I'm not afraid of what could happen." Corrin clutches a palm her stomach tenderly "Even if tomorrow brings war, and the nights are long and dark, being a mother would be the most precious gift in the world to me."

Emotions rise up from the depths of your stomach and your heart races. "I don't deserve someone like you," you utter, overwhelmed.

"Shhh..." Corrin places a finger to your lips, shaking her head. "You're strong-willed, Keiji, and sincere, too - if troubled. And that is enough for me."

Defences overwhelmed, tears stream from your eyes and down your cheeks. "...I love you, Corrin."

"And I love you, too."

A soothing orange sunset pouring in from the bedroom window, Corrin takes your lips for her own.

As of today, you have a stronger reason than ever to fight. Not out of guilt. Nor out of simple duty. But out of honest affection.

To be continued...
