Chapter 25: Big Trouble at Heaven's Arena
Asuka dashed forward and slammed a kick into the chest of a marine and launched a Chop-Chop Rocket that struck another down. Renji Shaved around and struck his staff into the knees of marines as he moved. Zika and Hama bounced around off buildings and stalls and they slammed into marines with their Fang Over Fang. Yasui zoomed around kicking down the marines that Renji had struck in the knees. Bulma twirled her Climate Baton quickly and blasted a raging whirlwind that twisted into a tornado and blasted into the marines.
They all charged down the street and around the corner as they passed panicked citizens. Marines stood on top of buildings and fired rifles down at them as they ran. A bullet hit Yasui in the side and he cried out as he zoomed forward.
After turning down another street and speeding down an alley, they came to a stop at another roadblock of marines.
"No!" Bulma shrieked.
Vice-Admiral Norrington stood at the head of the marines and grinned wickedly as he stared at Bulma. He pointed at her and said, "I've finally found you! You're coming with me, dear."
Bulma began shaking and took a couple of steps back, "No. Vice-Admiral Norrington..."
"Yasui, Zika. Get Bulma to the ship." Asuka ordered and popped his knuckles. Yasui, Bulma, Zika and Hama turned down the street and backtracked away from Norrington.
"Take the girl and kill the rest!" Vice-Admiral Norrington shouted and the marines charged forward.
Asuka, Shuhei and Renji dashed forward and clashed against the marines as Roshi watched Norrington keenly.
Mugen slashed Commodore Francis across the chest and jumped back as Francis punched at him. Francis aimed both of his arms forward and fired tiny missiles and his machine gun, bullets and explosions erupted all around and a few bullets grazed Mugen as he was blasted back.
Francis used the thrusters on the back of his legs and shot forward, he zoomed up and slammed a heavy kick into Mugen's chest. Mugen was knocked back hard and he ducked beneath a savage punch from the cyborg. Commodore Francis aimed and fired his machine gun arm point blank and Mugen Shaved around, he appeared behind Francis and sliced up his back. The marine jacket was streaked with blood and Francis grunted as he was slashed.
"Only your front is metal?!" Mugen exclaimed and he jumped away as Francis kicked out at him.
"I did all of this to myself!" Commodore Franics shouted, "I can't reach my back!"
"That's so stupid!" Mugen called out as he dashed at Francis. The Commodore blocked a slash with his left arm and slammed right fist into Mugen's head and knocked him back. The skin above Mugen's left eyebrow split open and blood began pouring down his face.
Commodore Francis blasted tiny missiles at Mugen and he dodged around as they exploded around him. Mugen dashed forward and slashed Francis in the face, Commodore Francis opened his mouth and breathed a wave of fire outward. Mugen jumped back and flames licked his right arm, Francis aimed and fired his machine gun arm as Mugen landed on his feet. Mugen deflected and dodged bullets as he Shaved around.
Mugen appeared behind Francis who quickly used his thrusters to dash away. Mugen dashed after him and struck into his chest with the Iron Reaper Soul Stealer. Francis stumbled back and slammed his left fist into Mugen's chest. Mugen coughed up blood and slashed the Commodore across the chest.
"You can't cut me, idiot. My body is made of steel." Francis said and grinned.
"Except for your back." Mugen said and grinned as he wiped blood from his face.
Mugen dashed forward and Shaved around rapidly, he appeared in front of Francis and slashed upwards at him and disappeared suddenly. Mugen slashed Commodore Francis up the back again, the wounds forming a red 'X' on his back. Francis cried out and used his thrusters to dash away from Mugen.
Shuhei struck down two marines with swift Finger Pistols and watched as Vice-Admiral Norrington dashed away and Master Roshi quickly chased after him. Renji Shaved around and swiftly struck down marines with his staff. Asuka charged down the street and the other two followed.
"That guy with the ponytail went after Bulma." Shuhei stated as they ran.
"Master Roshi followed him." Asuka replied confidently.
"There are more marines coming down the street." Renji said and pointed ahead of them.
The trio ducked into an alley and hid behind dumpsters as a unit of marines ran passed them. When the marines were gone, they stepped back out into the street and continued onward for the docks.
Bulma, Yasui, Zika and Hama dashed westward through the city as they headed for the docks. They ducked down alleys and avoided units of marines as they made their way through the city. They ran out into the street and four marines opened fire on them. Yasui sped at them and spin kicked one of the marines down and Zika and Hama pounced on the other three.
Norrington appeared in the street and lunged at Bulma, she shrieked and Master Roshi kicked Norrington in the side and knocked him away. Roshi stood between Norrington and Bulma, he watched as the Vice-Admiral got to his feet.
"Huh?" Norrington cocked his head to the side and laughed, "The Turtle Hermit?"
"Oh, you've heard of me?" Roshi asked and smiled widely.
"You used to be one of the strongest but now you're a skinny old man." Norrington said and pointed at Roshi, "Bulma belongs to the World Government, she belongs to me!"
"Get the hell outta here, kids!" Roshi shouted at the Misfits and he Shaved at Norrington.
Norrington blocked Roshi's kick and they exchanged a flurry of heavy blows as Yasui, Bulma, Zika and Hama dashed away.
Roshi dropped his staff on the ground and lunged forward, he struck Norrington in the chest with a palm strike and knocked him back. Norrington hardened both of his arms and Shaved forward, he and Roshi exchanged another flurry of blows and he struck Roshi in the face with a swift punch. Roshi spun around and hardened his foot as he kicked Norrington in the side with a savage strike.
Norrington skipped away from Roshi and smiled sadistically, "Alright, old man. Maybe you've still got some moves." Norrington was suddenly standing beside Roshi, he hardened his hand and struck him twice in the chest with Finger Pistols.
Roshi jumped away and Norrington was suddenly behind him, Roshi blocked a kick and they exchanged rapid blows. Roshi hardened his right arm and Shaved at Norrington and swung a swift punch at him. Just before the strike made contact, Norrington shifted suddenly and evaded the attack. Norrington jabbed Roshi in the chest with another Finger Pistol and Roshi skipped away from him.
Norrington appeared beside Roshi, who reacted quickly and struck Norrington in the jaw with a hardened punch. Roshi barraged a flurry of hardened punches that struck the Vice-Admiral back several steps. Norrington jumped away from Roshi and coughed.
"Maybe I should get serious." Roshi said and nodded.
Norrington clenched his jaw and went to move but Roshi moved much faster, the old man appeared in front of Norrington and struck him in the chest with a savage hardened punch! The Vice-Admiral was blasted back and he struck a wall hard, he fell to the ground and remained still.
Asuka, Shuhei and Renji approached the docks and Shuhei pointed out the Whore's Pocket Watch in the distance. The trio ran through a crowd of citizens and came to the docks where several units of marines stood. Seven Navy ships were docked and even more marines stood on the decks and shouted as they spotted the trio.
A thin blonde haired marine looked at the trio and she barked at the others, "Look alive, men!"
"Fuck." Shuhei muttered.
"We need to get the Whore away from the Navy ships." Asuka stated as he cracked his knuckles.
"Senju D. Asuka, surrender or else we will come down on you." The thin woman said and the marines around her walked toward the trio with their weapons drawn.
Renji skipped forward and swung his staff horizontally, "Power Pole extend!" His staff grew longer and slammed into eight marines as he swung and knocked them all to the side. Asuka and Shuhei Shaved passed Renji and skipped at the crowd of marines, they struck down marines with swift and furious strikes.
The thin woman Shaved up and struck Shuhei in the head with her jitte, he stumbled back and she kicked him hard in the chest. Asuka struck the woman in the chest with a Chop-Chop Rocket and he struck down a marine with a swift kick. The woman grabbed Asuka's arm and pressed the tip of her jitte into his wrist. Asuka's detached arm went limp and he felt a strange wave of exhaustion flood his body. Asuka tried to yank his arm back to no effect and a marine slashed him in the side with his sword.
"Gah!" Asuka cried out as blood spilled from his wound. Renji swung his elongated staff down and smacked the thin woman in the top of the head. She let go of Asuka's arm and he yanked it back to his body and struck down the marine that cut him.
"Lieutenant Commander Lisa!" A marine shouted.
"I'm fine!" Lisa shouted back and she Shaved at Asuka.
Asuka and Lieutenant Commander Lisa exchanged heavy blows and Asuka jumped away from her. Shuhei dashed at Lisa and kicked her in the side, he skipped back and struck down a pair of marines. Renji twirled his elongated staff and struck down marines with swift strikes.
Mugen ducked and dodged away from Commodore Francis as he barraged a flurry of punches with his steel arms. Mugen ducked beneath a punch and skipped passed Francis and slashed his right side. Francis spun around and breathed a wave of flames that Mugen Shaved away from.
"You're out of bullets and missiles." Mugen breathed heavily and said, "You haven't shot anything at me in a few minutes.
Commodore Francis grinned and said, "Maybe I'm keeping my last missile until I absolutely need it."
Mugen grinned slyly and dashed at Francis, he leapt up and swung his sword down at the cyborg's head. Francis caught the blade with his left hand and slammed his right fist into Mugen's stomach. Mugen released his grasp on the hilt of his sword and stumbled back. Francis threw the sword to the side and used his thrusters to dash as Mugen.
Francis swung his right fist and Mugen Shaved suddenly, he appeared behind Francis and pulled the tanto from his scabbard, "Satan's Scalpel!" Mugen sliced into Commodore Francis' back with the tanto, horizontally through the 'X'. Francis staggered and stumbled forward as his white jacket became almost entirely red.
Mugen dashed toward his sword and Francis blasted a missile that struck the ground in front of Mugen and the explosion rocked him backwards. Mugen hit the ground hard and scrambled up to his feet as Francis charged at him. Francis kicked Mugen in the chest and sent him back down to the ground. Mugen spun around on the ground and launched himself up to his feet and ducked beneath Francis' punch, he Shaved over to his sword and plucked it up.
Mugen breathed heavily and said, "I can't waste any more time on you."
Commodore Fancis laughed and said, "You've already beaten me, kid." He smiled and fell face first to the ground.
Mugen cleaned off his blades and sheathed them. He stumbled around and shouted, "FLYING NIMBUS!"
Asuka, Renji and Shuhei clashed against Lieutenant Commander Lisa and the marines at the dock when thunderclouds appeared in the sky. Bulma shot a Weather Ball at a group of marines and lightning struck down on them. Yasui sped forward on his wheels and slammed savage kicks into marines. Zika and Hama struck into marines with their Fang Over Fang.
"Bulma!" Asuka shouted, "Get the ship ready!"
Bulma dashed down the docks toward the ship and Yasui sped after her. They leapt onto the ship and the Navy ships maneuvered to block them in. Yasui raised the anchor and Bulma unfurled the sails.
Lieutenant Commander Lisa skipped at Asuka and slammed her jitte into his chest. Asuka stumbled back and ducked beneath another swing of her jitte, he popped up and struck her in the jaw with a swift punch. Renji's staff returned to its normal size and as he Shaved at Lisa; he jabbed her in the stomach with his staff and punched her in the forehead.
The Flying Nimbus zoomed up and Mugen leapt onto the ship and cut down marines trying to board the Whore. Bulma fired one of the cannons and blasted a small hole in the hull of a Navy ship. The marines returned fire and the Whore's Pocket Watch was blasted by a hail of cannonballs.
Asuka, Shuhei, Renji, Zika and Hama struck down marines as they charged down the dock and leapt onto the ship. The Misfits sprang into action and began sailing toward the blockade of Navy ships.
"Where's Master Roshi?" Yasui asked.
"The old man got here somehow, he'll find a way to leave." Mugen said, "We have bigger problems.
Bulma propelled the ship forward with gusts of wind and they sailed quickly toward where the stern of one ship met the prow of another.
"We're gonna crash!" Zika shouted.
Shuhei ran to the prow of their ship and aimed his right hand forward, pointing in finger gun fashion, "Spirit Gun!" A flashing beam of blue light shot from Shuhei's finger and blasted into the point where the two ships ahead met. The beam erupted on impact and rocked the ships so they spun on the water. Bulma blasted the sails with a powerful gale of wind and the ship propelled through the gap between the ships!
"What was that?!" Asuka exclaimed.
"Let's talk later, we need to get out of here!" Shouted.
The southwestern dock was suddenly bombarded with flash bombs, smoke bombs and grenades. Shouts of panic echoed out as the bombs continued to go off for a solid thirty seconds. The Misfits curved around Heaven's Arena Island as they went and sailed away to the north as chaos and panic consumed the docks.
Master Roshi stood atop a building overlooking the docks and smiled as he watched the Misfits sail away. "There's nothing but trouble out there. Be safe, kids." He said aloud.
